301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 11, 2023, 11:14:02 AM
Arsenal vs Brentford will be one of the most competitive matches in the Premier League. Brentford has been performing consistently well and is in a very good position right now. Brentford players are very confident. And so they are able to perform well and win against any big team. On the other hand, even though Arsenal are strong, they lost points against Everton in the last match. And so this match is very important for them. A win in this match should get them back on track and increase their points gap against Manchester City. If not, it will become more difficult for Arsenal to win the title. Arsenal players will definitely fight hard to get 3 points in this match. Hope the Arsenal team will not fail today.
I am not going to argue against the fact that Brentford has been decent, they really played well above what people expected them to do, there is no doubt about that. But, I do not think that they are a match against Arsenal, I mean Arsenal has twice as many wins as Brentford has, when teams are close it's always unknown, but when you have twice as many wins as your opponent, I would say you are a favourite in that game.

Obviously Brentford won against City and Liverpool too, which means that they are capable of beating teams better than them, but that doesn't mean that they will go around beating big clubs all season, I sense Arsenal will be one where they lose.

Yes but there can be one scenario where AI can be helpful in predicting sports. Lets suppose you want to bet on a match and you do not have any information which team is favorite and which team is weak. You can take help from AI and predict the winner and hope the favorite team wins.

I understand that the underdog team can win too but with the help of AI we may bet on sports which we have no knowledge and the probability of our wins on such matches increases.
Absolutely right, and I think that's the best way to use these technologies, as a new tool that allows you to do your job faster and doing new things you couldn't do before.

By itself the AI might not be great, but it's a phenomenal tool when used properly.
I just talked with a designer who started to use one, and that's basically how it will be. I can't become a designer if you gave me my own personal midjourney access, like even if I had midjourney on my own discord server and use it as much as I want with no limitations, I would not be a designer, I would be better than who I am now, but won't be as good as designers.

However, give a designer access to it? And they could definitely use that as a tool for amazing products and art, because they know what they are doing with it. Same goes with everything that is AI related, it is not to replace people, it's there to be a tool for the people and that's how it will be.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: February 10, 2023, 08:39:50 PM
Now Al Nassr is in a comfortable position, as they have 37 points from 16 matches. Al Shabab is close behind, but their goal difference is not as good as that of Al Nassr (+26 for Al Nassr, compared to +21 for Al Shabab).
Not only do they have an advantage on goal difference, but Al Nassr still has 1 game to go. If they can win in this match difference will make Al Nassr's position even stronger.

What Ronaldo has done is extraordinary because being able to score 4 goals in one game is not easy, not many players can do that, and what he has done can silence his critics a little.
Considering Al-Wehda, the team they played against were 13th in the SAUDI league, which is already a bad league to start with, but this is a bad team of a bad league, I wouldn't say it is a big achievement. Ronaldo had a hattrick in premier league just last season, it has been just a year since he had that one, so to see him one year later playing in Saudi league?

I do not feel like 4 goals is something major for him. This dude is the guy with the most goals ever under his name, nobody scored more than him, to think that he wouldn't be able to score 4 goals against any team in that league would be silly, he can rip that league apart easily and dissect the defenses to score anytime he wants, or he should be able to at least.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 10, 2023, 08:12:56 PM
Let's say Real Madrid get Mbappe + Kane or Haaland + Bellingham (or any other combination of these or other players) in the summer. It seems incredible but why not - for each of these players there are arguments in favor of changing clubs. So if Real Madrid gets such a pair, then, taking into account Benzema, who is still playing, how many minutes will Assensio play for the entire season? I think that the team will simply not need him, and even if the contract with him is extended, he will go on loan.
Indeed, if 2 of the 4 players join Real Madrid in the transfer market next summer, then Asensio's position is most threatened and he won't even be needed for quite a long time. But even if that happens, it is likely that there will be tension in the locker room and it is possible that a player whose position is threatened will choose to leave Real Madrid. But if Real Madrid can't be firm with their players, chances are they will be left behind in fighting for the championship in the current remaining competitions.
I am pretty sure that Kane would be an easy target for them, and they have enough money to buy him, Mbappe and Haaland are the type of players you would have to pay premium for, as high as 200 million maybe, which is a big deal and an issue but what other team could pay that if not Real Madrid? They are the team that could pay more than anyone else in most situations, rarely they could ever be outbid by any other team.

Jude is also another easy target but he is easy for most other clubs too, it depends where Jude wants to go, and not if Real could afford him. In all these cases, Asensio would be gone, that part is true and there is no shock about that, dude would not be wanted anymore, or basically needed.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 10, 2023, 09:03:32 AM

That is for sure. artificial intelligence technology, it is impossible to predict the outcome of a match precisely and accurately. maybe, if only to seek information from the two teams that will compete. we can use AI as a tool, or practical and easy reference. however, not to predict the outcome of a match. why, the fact is that in a match the team that is superior doesn't always win every match. and don't we already have a lot of experience, related to a match result.

To be honest, I never even tried Al. so I don't know how Al works, let alone a prediction. but certainly, in sports matches, especially football. there is no such thing as an absolute prediction, it all depends on how the two teams play the match. related to a result, it is the consistent team that can come out victorious regardless of the depth of the players of the competing team. the rest, let luck decide.
That is true, in the sense that the actual match outcome is going to be random.

But, still there is some probabilities involved.

Let's say that we're going to bet in a football match between Brazil and San Marino.

You can see that it's the best against the worst: https://www.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/men

Of course the odds are going to be in favor of Brazil, but there's always a tiny chance that they end up tied or Brazil makes an own goal or whatever.

Those kind of odds can be easily calculated by an AI, just like a human could do.
If you need help from an AI to bet on Brazil vs San Marino game, then you shouldn't gamble Cheesy All kidding aside, we just had Croatia vs Brazil, and by your logic then Brazil should have won because they were ranked higher, the difference is that AI should be able to predict these not so common results and I do not think that there is any data which could show that, it will be obvious that any AI would say Brazil would win that game when we know they didn't.

That is why it is not really a good thing to bet with that, it doesn't give people any sort of results and it doesn't give people any sort of extra help that they couldn't find their own, would probably lose.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 09, 2023, 09:02:05 PM
Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.
Bounties nowadays are far different from the bounties that we had a few years ago. Scammers are now using bounties to scam people where they will add you to their telegram group and will ask you to perform different tasks with the promise of getting paid yet you will still end up being blocked on their dead channel. It's rare to find legit bounties these days so you really have to research so you will not get scammed.
It is normal that you would be blocked because they are just trying to scam people basically, and that means if there is anyone who instils any type of doubt, they would be bad for their business and they just ban people who do that, which is why it is not going to be easy to find a proper really paying bounty since all the bad ones are hiding the fact that they are bad, and hard to learn if they are bad or not.

I know that it is going to take a while before we settle and there are some ways we could find which ones are good and which ones are bad, but that doesn't change the fact that it is not going to be anything good in the end, it will be something bad.

May be we should give it some time to see if the gs changes and Lightlord decide to become active again or appoint a representative to work on this thread as that is very necessary at this point,  there is a need for an active admin to monitor and answer questions in this thread as regards to Bitvest casino and if that is not happening we may have bigger trouble in the feature because members will continue to make some random comments here, and if there is no admin to counter that it may lead I to spam mega thread and moderators will have to lock this thread to avoid that from happening.
I don't know man, if he was active then he would have been active, when I see this topic and how things are going, I feel like it's not where it should be as of right now. Sure, he had an amazing past, and maybe the future will be as amazing again and that is something people could take some chance on, but I am not going to be that one.

I feel like the best thing to do right now would be staying away from it as much as possible and then I could end up with something much better when things settle. If it turns out to be not so great anymore, I would be out so I would be fine, if it turns out great again in the future? I could get in after the fact and not be part of the recovery process stress.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 09, 2023, 02:06:10 PM
Vlahovic, who was absent for a long time in scoring goals, but in the match against selernitana he was able to contribute 2 goals which made his statistics have scored 8 goals so far. Even the latest issue of Vlahovic is being targeted by Manchester United in the next season's transfer window.
I was quite surprised by Vlahovic's appearance in that match and it seems he is indeed one of the key players for Juventus this season. He scored a brace after a long absence due to injury since the 2022 world cup in Qatar last year and this will make him even more eager to contribute with his goal in Juventus' next game. Even though there are rumors about Manchester United's interest in bringing him to Old Trafford, I am very confident that he will stay at Juventus until next season.
He is definitely a player that is much better than Juventus standards and he will be bought by some bigger club eventually. When you have a player like that in your team, you take advantage of him as much as you can whenever you can play him, doesn't matter when and how he is, if you can play him then he will provide you something.

A vlahovic that plays with 70% of his talent is still better than any other alternative that they have, which shows how great he is and how he can score better than anyone else there, and that is why he plays whenever he is capable of playing. Great goal, and he will keep on scoring al to more this season in the upcoming games as well.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 09, 2023, 11:50:34 AM
I personally believe that Haaland is an opportunistic player, and he’ll be switching clubs constantly and that was a key reason why Real Madrid didn’t target him but now they have an excellent chance to sweep in and take him to La Liga. Furthermore I feel that even Kane isn’t a bad signing provided they can strike a deal with Tottenham, because he can guarantee them goals and he has lots of experience too which will further improve the team.
I think he may stay for another season, that way he would not be the type of player who left after just one season and a bad news, but he would be there "if" something happens, there is a likely chance something could happen, but he would be basically saying he stayed around.

This of course depends on what the punishment is, if they are sent below to championship, he won't stay but neither majority of the players, many will leave so it will be fine. In that situation Real could scoop in and buy him, whatever his price is, if he is 200 million then they will pay that, it really doesn't matter how much he is because he is a one of a kind player you can't find anywhere else.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 08, 2023, 09:37:22 PM
Arsenal does not require a player like Asensio at this time, and he would prefer not to be there because the competition for a position will be fierce. But, because he's a versatile player, he might be able to play from Mertinelli's wing, but that can't be guaranteed either, as Martinelli is doing well and developing under Arteta's tutelage. Making Asensio a substitute or second choice for Saka will be detrimental to his career, as he requires more playing time than ever before.
Asensio will be a long term plan by arsenal. The transfer season already closed and asensio will come next season if arsenal will be decided to buy him. Saka needs backup to prevent once he may get injury anytime. That's better to make a prevention rather than waiting for saka to be injured. I hope that saka will never get injury caused by saka is really important for arsenal. Asensio looks good to be a backup for saka.
Arsenal needs to build long term plan. it's not only until the end of season. that's why arsenal has been targeting saka as next player to be bought by the club. Stan kroenke was fully supporting arteta.
I agree, but Asensio is not a player that you can just simply bench all the time, you need to play him a bit as well, even if you sub him in later in the game, he has to play, if you keep him out of the game for too long, he will create some sort of drama. Look at him now, played in nearly 1000 minutes this year, and not in every game, but he did played in some games and that is the important thing.

I believe that he will ask the same thing, not to play in every game, but get good minutes to show himself. However, I may agree that if they do not get him, that would still be fine and I think it would be not a big deal for anyone if they just not buy him.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 07, 2023, 07:41:22 PM
Already aware of the speculations that Chelsea intends to make an open offer to AC Milan for Rafael Leao. Stefano Pioli wants to keep the Portuguese international since he is a major project for the club and is one of Milan's top frontlines. He will perform best for the team if the Blues are successful in getting him over. Victor Osimhen, though, is certainly a terrific player, but one thing we all overlooked was that this season is his prime season to shine, and Napoli is currently atop the table, so there's every chance the Nigerian will perform better in league matches.
That's seriously going at an insane price at this point. I mean they are looking to buy more players? I get that they have a new owner and the new owner wants to show the fan base that he is not afraid of spending money to make the team better and he is not the one to judge for these bad results.

They are doing terribly and owner is just making sure he is spending a ton of money so he could say "I did all I could", but this is just getting too much. He could already say that, they spent over half a billion pounds on players and if they get Leao somehow, which would be insane itself, then they would be getting near the 600+ million levels and that's just not normal, unheard of by any team ever.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 07, 2023, 03:53:03 PM
I wouldn't have expected to see Marseille's unbeaten streak to end by the Nice game honestly.
Marseille played so badly against nice. Marseille didn't have a proper attacks against nice.

I don't know if this thing was caused by marseille's player being frastated or not but here's main concern.

22 shots and only 5 on goals. It has also 58% ball possessions compared with nice. i think that the attacking line was facing a problem. It was making any attack that has been making by marseille looks inaffective against nice.
They weren't very effective this time. Nice found quite many opportunities to score and benefited from them in a great way. Marseille should have been better at defending. I don't know if it was due to complacency. But I don't want to believe such thing. Because Marseille had a good opportunity to chase PSG for even the league title. But now the point gap has got bigger now.
I saw that too. Missing so many opportunities. Marseille's players were doing too many trial and error by making so many non target shots.
It is not easy to fix a team that has an issue on offense, and it's not easy to attack a team that closes down and parks the bus like Nice did. This allowed Nice to have a good defense and not get scored easily, but it also gave them plenty of counter attacking chances as well, defense of Marseille got caught off guard plenty of times.

I guess that we know from history that just because you have possession doesn't mean you are going to win the game, it's quite possible for everyone that you could end up losing the game even when you end up with more shots and more passes and control the ball all game, as long as one team scores more than the other, that's all that matters.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 07, 2023, 10:28:22 AM
Def no, bots or AI use all data available at the moment to predict the result of the game, but as players are only humans (although highly professional ones) they make errors, they can suffer an injury, withdraw, lose temper and many other things which cannot be predicted by a machine, no matter how perfect.
behavior data like that as far as I know can be collected by AI and be used for future reference actually. Small stuff that may not appear big to us like our slightest temper tantrums or whatnot, when taken by an AI, can help it predict our next move. Granted ChatGPT is not that advanced for it to be able to perform feats like this but AI as a whole, is able to do stuff like this even as early as 2014. Predictive Policing, Heat List, all of these use behavioral data, as well as data of other types to determine whether someone could commit a crime in a certain area or not. So it would be unwise really if we are to lowball how big of a chokehold AI already has over us.
It would be silly to think AI is not dangerous if used by bad people, or even government which could use it to create some sort of situation where AI could be used to make more willing citizens, but that doesn't change the fact that this has nothing to do with how they could predict outcomes of sports matches for example. I understand it could be used for MANY things, good and bad, but not betting.

It just doesn't exists, it doesn't calculate what humans will do when they are 11 vs 11, that's just too unpredictable, nobody knows. It all comes down to all those times when things that had 10.00+ odds where nobody assumed it could go one way, ended up going that way and those are not predictable.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 07, 2023, 06:18:23 AM
We shouldn't write off Manchester United also. The favourites for the Europa League title currently are Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus to me.

One of the Barcelona - Manchester United duo is going to be out by this round of course. But I don't think there is any clear favourite between them. Barcelona are really doing amazing in the La Liga now. In addition to that they have improved their game in big matches as well. Their Super Cup match against Real Madrid can be given as a great example. On the other hand Manchester United are also in a great shape. Erik ten Hag has built up a strong chemistry with the team and this has started to reflect on the results.

Arsenal are focused mainly on the English Premier League. If the gap between them and their closest opponent becomes too close then they might have some concentration problems in the Europa League. But I still think they are the biggest title contender. Lastly Juventus are in a bad condition in the Serie A after the punishment. But on one hand this is the time they can really increase their focus on the Europa League. Because this can be their only way to the Champions League next season.
Juventus may not be the best team out of them all, but they have the most to lose as well. They have absolutely no chance in the league after such punishment, and that means they need to win the Europa cup to be relevant next year, they spent so much money this year and they have nothing to show for it, which means if they can win Europa cup, that would be something to show for, and next year they will be both fighting for a title in the league, but also be back where they were in UCL after a while too.

That's an important thing, it allows people to have some sort of understanding where things are going and that is why it's such an important task. Maybe they won't win, but they need it more than others.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to earn with your idle bitcoin (if there is a way anymore?) on: February 06, 2023, 09:24:34 PM
If there isnt really anything out that is relatively safe i am happy to continue hodling it on my ledger. But if any of you guys are aware of something new that i havnt heard of please feel free to let me know thanks.
This is the best option right now. To just hold.

I'm holding Bitcoin for 2 years already and until now, I didn't think of my Bitcoins being used to lend out to these platforms that offers lending where you can earn somewhere around 5% or more per year. Kind of attractive, but I won't risk it.

You already said that you're lucky that you dodge the bullet against Celsius, and there are some who are lucky as well when Gemini ended their Earn feature. Sometimes, just idling your Bitcoin is a better and safer decision because I don't see any way either for my Bitcoins to earn more Bitcoins aside from it being lend to somebody.
5% looks small but if more than that (above 10 or 20%) then that might be tempting already, yet I will think really hard if I will do it or not because I already heard horrible stories about how lending platforms can collapse. It will be hard to sleep at night thinking that your Bitcoins are not in our control anymore and at any moment you can potentially lose it. If we want to earn more then the key is to buy more Bitcoins.

The most effective way of doing it is when the market is crashing really hard. Investing in our own using a trusted wallet brand (preferably offline) can be the best way to earn because the risk of doing it is only small but the return is high.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: February 06, 2023, 08:38:11 PM
Feyenoord managed to gain 1 point thanks to the Iranian forward.  The goal he scored in the 90+6th minute prevented Feyenoord from getting stuck in the race to the top.  Had PSV won this match they would have moved into second place.  In the last minutes of the match, they experienced a great disappointment and could not get 3 points.  Leader Feyenoord continues on his way.
PSV is a very strong team. Feyenoord drew this match, which is definitely a good result for them. However, compared to PSV, Feyenoord's performance was much better in this match. A total of 35 35 shots were made by Feyenoord's players. Even then they can't win. They scored in extra time to draw the match. They scored the first goal in the 81st minute. However, PSV would have conceded at least 4 goals if PSV's defenders and goalkeepers did not play well in this match.
PSV was good in this all match but sadly due to RED CARD they lost one player and then lost two points as well with Feyenoord were able to score a goal in injury time and have good end of this match but still the best beneficiary of this match is Ajax which now having just three points difference and things are moved up for them to fight back for their top spot even now they have some tight schedule with UEFA Europa Cup is also starting again, and they have to do hard work for taking back this spot but with their quality and change of performance level can bring them back for their defend of title.

Heitinga is doing good job as caretaker coach as now he will stay until end of this season and most chances if he is able to handle things in positive way then surely they can go with him in near future as well.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share Tips For Newbie Traders on: February 06, 2023, 08:12:11 PM
Trading can be a lonely and boring business at some point because, you do not have anyone to talk to and are just alone with your computer, phone, or tablet in your room, just trading. And many newbies may at some point think that they are probably wasting too much of their time. If you are in this situation right now, I want you to know that you are not wasting your time.

If you are an experienced trader reading this, how did you know that you were not wasting your time trading at the time when you felt this way?
I do not agree that trading can be boring because it depends on how much we desire to learn and profit from trading. Maybe many beginners are too busy asking people and don't take the time to learn to improve their skills in trading. And at some point, when he doesn't find the right person to ask, he will feel hopeless and confused about where to ask.

This depends on how someone can use the time to learn to trade from many sources and practice it. And when he does, he wastes no time because he can benefit from what he does. And don't forget that trading is a process just as you work and enjoy the process with pleasure. When you are happy, you will not feel bored.
Yeah, it's about the desire. Before in school, I always believe math subject is boring but how come when some of my classmates enjoyed it? It's because I don't have a desire for it. Same thing goes with trading. There are so many traders who enjoy it. They love how complex and hard trading was because it challenges themselves.

What is boring actually are those simple and easy things. Investing can be a good example about it because in investing, you don't have anything to do other than just hodling and wait for the price to rise before you can sell for profits. Nothing wrong with asking but if you are asking, it means you interact with other people. You are not lonely or bored this way. Trading can also be done passively like investing (thanks to the help of the trading bots.) Now we can just leave our trades in the background and we can still socialize with other people outside.
318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: February 06, 2023, 07:16:33 PM
I sit-down to wonder why traders who are consistent in trading and also investing still remain very broke despite the effort they put to erradicating poverty, but it still seems like there is some sort of unforseen and spiritual forces controlling the physical.Or should it be foundational curse from the forefathers affecting the present circumstances?or is it that the poverty is inherited? Or is it a gene or chromosome?.These are questions that that I tend to ask.
Could you believe I couldn't stop laughing reading your post? I guess you are a Nigerian, perhaps some black part of Africa. Frankly, a thing like spiritual could be present, but they target a few sets of people, so it's irrelevant since the majority are losing in retail trading/investments. Professionally, based on my experience, people do not understand what trading and investment are, they are rushing in and out and approaching them wrongly.

This causes their losses, and since you can't make money through them, you will lose, hence the reason for their poverty. This will continue until they get it right.
What makes you think he is a Nigerian/African? Is it because the people there are spiritual? But what about on other countries? I think all are the same. Or do you mean something? Hmm. Spiritual does exist and it can be possible that it's one of the cause on why we lose on trading or on any other activities that we are doing but their effect is not 100 percent. Other than to be spiritual we also need to learn more or practice more (be consistent).

I believe this is the major thing that can makes us successful. Some people are consistent and yet still fail because they are following the wrong program. Sometimes, we should also learn to switch and realize our mistakes early.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 05, 2023, 09:11:30 PM
I really don't think I will leave my bets to an artificial intelligence to do my sourcing for me and I will rather do copy gambling rather than leave my bets to artificial intelligence to do them for me .
I'm not even condemning people who do so because I believe there are people who do so and are doing relatively very well in it without much stress and hassle and people like that will tell you so much about letting artificial intelligence do the work for them. In general, I will never leave my bets to an artificial intelligence to do my sourcing for me.
It's scary at first but if you already tested it for a long time and it works almost perfect like it can give more wins than losses then why not? Using them saves you time for researching if what teams are going to do well. Copying other gamblers is I think no different to this because you are still relying into someone or something else and are you sure that those gamblers manually studying their picks carefully?

What if they are only playing for fun that time and also some of them are using AI. We are still not sure about their future. Maybe the time will come that they will get banned so it's always better to have a back up plan than totally depending on them.

and Decentralized Exchange is, of course, be one stop when comes to the fake token. Like every day there are random people DM me and talk about fake token or get rich scheme quickly.

Keep educate ourself and there is no instant way to get rich  Grin
We have a big number of legit projects so the scammers doesn't only limit their selves of creating one to two scam/clone coins but they create more than it so that if one gets busted, they still have a chance for the other. They are also lots of scammers on this space so some scam/cloned tokens are also created by other scammers and not by the same person. They lurk mostly in telegram because telegram is much easier to use and access than in discord.

Discord is much stricter in terms of security and almost each discord group do always hire a good moderator. Scammers use decentralized exchanges because obviously there are no or less regulations in here than on CEX.
