301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in Bitcoin Diamond BCD? on: March 05, 2018, 05:33:33 PM
BCD this time trading prices are very different in each website. I know that BCD has no official wallet and can not withdraw. But is that okay? Should I invest at this time?
I think you should pass! BCD price is higher on some exchanges(binance) because deposits/withdrawals are disabled and on other exchanges (okex, gate etc..) price is lower because they have enabled deposits/withdrawals. it would be better to invest in something else or just hodl your bitcoins. Tongue
302  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitKong - Fun & Addictive, provably fair bitcoin game. on: March 04, 2018, 09:08:03 PM
yeah i have found exactly how they scam people

they just set the client seed to whatever they want if you change it they change it back to what the server generates so theres a losing bet

it will verfiy because they control all parts its like a scam 99dice pulled a while back it only vefies because theres no real player imput and the server genrates whatever results they want

Server do not generates client seed. Client seed generated client side and unknown for server until you click “Play” button.

If you want to change it manually you can choose only from allowed values, 0,1 and 2 for Easy/Hard tickets and 0 or 1 for Medium tickets. Even if by your conspiracy theory we are changing client seed, we still will need to guess which cell you will choose to make you lose.

BTW with our upcoming version, we have new verification scheme where you can easily play/verify multiple games with same server/client seed.
Is there any eta for bitkong version 2 launch? do you have any new game for us to play in the new version? i hope you guys have added more ways to sign up/login, not everyone is fond of facebook login. Roll Eyes

Yeah, I am waiting for their newer version but until now they do not even speak up about the changes that they are going to do. At least they should tell us something good that they are having later.
Yep, they should give us some details about the new version, i don't know maybe they'll just release it as soon as it's ready lol. i heard about version 2, a year ago iirc.

I do not think there is really needed for them to open new ways to login, on site and facebook login will already be good enough. And with facebook many of them can easily take part in case there is event
I think they should add many options to sign up, like normal way(email+password) and then various social logins to register on bitkong, it would be better.. allow the users to choose how they want to sign up or log in. i prefer registering with my email address.  Roll Eyes
303  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Bitcoin Game ( Blitzmoon.com ) on: March 04, 2018, 08:59:26 PM
I'd like to see faucet. It's too risky to invest real bitcoins.
we can add it on next update
Do you have plans to add altcoins(top ones)? they could bring you more traffic.

I would also advise to allow users the option in which they are allowed to login in to the site.
Not everybody would like to use their facebook or twitter account to create an account on a site, even if it was put in as a more convenient way to cut down time on registering for an account.
I think people would rather have the choice in how they wish to sign up on your site.
 [...]
Yeah, i don't like to sign up using facebook/twitter, would be better to have the old registration along with social logins, let people choose however they want to sign up. Cheesy
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet for ETH? on: March 04, 2018, 07:02:22 PM
I think everyone pointed that MEW is really the best wallet for ERC-20 tokens and for your ETH. However, there are other wallets like Jaxx or Exodus that can hold your ETH as well. So you can also take a look at:

1. Ledger Nano S - not so expensive hardware wallet, but one of the best out there.
2. Trezor - one advantage of it is that it has interface with MEW
3. Exodus - I personally used this, not just with ETH but other altcoins as well for my daily trading
4. Jaxx - similar with Exodus
5. Mist - never used but it says its the official Ethereum wallet

Hardware wallets are the best ever wallet until now but the MEW also totally safe as long as we keep our private key safely and keeping our system offline when not needed can save us from hacks. We can track the token balances of MEW on etherscan can help us from phishing links and never ever share private keys of MEW to anyone.

Even though I kept my private key safely, my account at MEW was hacked and all my ERC-20 tokens were stolen...
MEW doesn't stores your data/private keys on any server, so it can't be hacked in a way you think, you were probably a victim of phishing.

If you have large sums of ETH or ERC-20 tokens, I would also recommend hardware wallets.
Yeah, of course anyone serious about their crypto safety should buy a hardware wallet or could setup air gapped system.
305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker sites? on: March 04, 2018, 03:43:51 PM
Nitrogen banned me from poker. Claiming multi accounting.   This is not true and I'm tired of them wrongfully banning.
Do you use VPN(free one?) or are you given dynamic/new IP address each time you restart your router? either VPN or dynamic IP is making nitrogen system think that you're multi accounting. you better get a static IP(ask your ISP) or dedicated VPN.

What are some other poker sites?  Other than betcoin?
..
Betking[1] is the one i can recommend for now.

307  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 Truegame - First Smart Contract Platform For Lotto & Games of Chance 🎰 on: March 03, 2018, 07:55:31 PM
Hi,

I first had a small bug to register using W10 MS Edge but it was quickly solved by the team after warning them through Telegram group. I then applied to get the $10 free gift for bitcointalk members and played at scratchcard exclusively. Website is really nice but I did not have the opportunity to test all games as I have not been very lucky and I have quickly lost the $10. I only got $0.5 remaining so I have two suggestions:

1) Add one scratchcard game with a minimal bet of $0.5  Grin
2) Add a Referral Link functionality with a free gift for both parties

All the best !!!

Lol. i think they'll probably add $0.5 or even more lower scratchcards when the platform goes live, it's not required for now i guess. i'm too stuck with $0.5 on my account, mine and yours balance will be gone once platform goes live. Tongue
308  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 111+ BTC Jackpot! on: March 03, 2018, 04:21:14 PM
Is it legal?
Legality of primedice or any other gambling sites depends on your country, if they prohibit online gambling, then you won't be allowed to gamble on PD and or on other bitcoin gambling sites.

309  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Bitcoin Game ( Blitzmoon.com ) on: March 03, 2018, 03:02:14 PM
any freerolls to try and how min to deposit ?
free to play is available on demo mode

and you can play with real money ( click on login and login with google account - Facebook or twitter )

min deposit is 0.0001 BTC = 1000 bits = 10 USD
I think you meant 0.001 BTC! seems pretty good game, you could change/update the design though and be distinctive. you should also start using/implementing segwit. btw how much is minimum withdrawal amount and tx fee that you add/take?
310  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: March 02, 2018, 08:03:46 AM
Would anyone be able to sign up for a new VCC without going through KYC procedure? i'm unable to find any working VCC at this moment, hope you guys make it available as soon as possible.

Not sure. Cards without KYC are going away, nobody really aims to provide non-KYC card services anymore.
Thanks for the answer. well i guess have to find a service that provides non-KYC VCC. i won't be using the service much, maybe just once or twice per month and spend <$100.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: New NANO XRB Gambling site Nanoplay.io on: March 02, 2018, 05:53:28 AM

What do you expect to double your investment invest now !!! <3

Another Bustabit site. Do you Have the license??

....
Lol looks like it's the new trend, there have been couple of gambling sites that have been launched utilizing bustabit script/code. i think they're unlicensed [1] or maybe the license page is not updated?

And Also Your site doesn't accept bitcoins,  so this Section doesn't belong for your thread. Move your thread to Altcoins Marketplace.
Yeah, that seems the appropriate section for this thread.
312  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex verification for withdraw on: March 01, 2018, 08:27:46 PM
As title says I am in need of some advice, I have around 900usd in bittrex that I would like to withdraw, but I do not want to send them my personal information for verification. I am willing to pay for assistance in this matter except obvious scams like "give me the account details I will verify and send you 90% etc." Any and all help will be appreciated

As far as my knowledge about Bittrex current policy is concerned, Basic Account can withdraw up to BTC per day so that is equivalent to around US$4.2k as of the current exchange rate while Im writing this. It's not that harm if you will just tell them your name, birthdate and address as you are not required to submit personal documents. Enhanced verification is the one that needs personal documents submission.

Correct me if Im wrong but the new terms will be effective on March 9 (or 8?) as stated in the email so still you can withdraw your funds there as basic account.
If the basic account verification/match failed(it fails most of the times) for those who's account from "legacy" were turned down to "new" have to go through KYC procedure. he probably had tried to get his account upgraded to basic account but it failed, so op doesn't have any choice but to submit the ID(s).

315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Revival of Bitcoins and alts and your strategy. on: March 01, 2018, 05:51:11 PM
Basically you're gambling in satoshis and not in dollars, so if you're lke earning btcs and not buying them, then there shouldn't be much of a difference if the fiat rate goes up or down. I usually don't have any sats to spare unless some that are left from trading.

Even if you are looking in satoshi. The amount of fee in satoshi is increasing too. Last year, the fee was around 10ksats to 30ksats but now it increase to 100k sats above which is very high for fee. It is better to use altcoin like ETH and LTC rather than BTC. It has less transaction and confirmation speed is fast compare to BTC. It is important to consider transaction fee so that you will not be in loss before you start gambling.
Fee is actually decreasing, if you look at the current recommend fee[1] is less than 10k satoshis. segwit adoption is finally increasing, recently being implemented on coinbase. segwit transactions currently amount to 27%[2] out of total bitcoin transactions, if everyone started using segwit we'll enjoy even more cheaper fees.

.....

I learned recently if it seems to good to be true then is generally is so for that reason I'm not going to take part in this although at 1 BTC its very tempting lol Shocked
You are not required to spend any money to take part in,  just do what you can, for example you can writing a tutorial or create infographic(use a free online infographic creator), follow participating instruction and stand a chance to win 1 BTC prize. Smiley
318  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: TREZOR Model T touchscreen on: March 01, 2018, 02:15:52 PM
I noticed this new model of trezor anyone try it?
touchscreen, all operations requiring entry of confidential data will be done exclusively on the device screen,12-word and 24-word seed.
source of information https://blog.trezor.io/first-trezor-model-t-dispatched-warehouse-shipping-preorder-86615b55ffd3
Nope i haven't tried/used the new trezor model, i couldn't even order it as it was sold out pretty fast lol. i think i'll buy one when it's up for sale or maybe i should wait for ledger to release a new model similar to trezor-t or better one. Cheesy
319  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Research - Torrent users on: February 28, 2018, 09:09:35 PM
Are you a torrent user?
Yes, i am a torrent user. i'm currently using a site which downloads torrents on their server then allow me download files directly.

Would you use a service like this?
Absolutely yes. when you do get on developing, do add search function directly on site, would be a real help.

Would you pay (small amount) to download even more each day?
Yeah i would. one suggestion here, instead of monthly subscription, if you charged on per GB/storage used that would be much more economical and probably many would prefer.  Roll Eyes

Thanks all for your replies.

What do you mean with search function? Could you explain better please?

Thanks!

Sorry i didn't type torrent lol. what i meant was having a torrent search function/feature on site, you could do that by utilizing APIs of various trusted torrent sites and allow anyone to search for files/videos and add them directly for download without leaving the site.
320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will there be a "next Ethereum"? on: February 28, 2018, 08:53:46 PM
Ethereum is facing a lot of competition from platforms like EOS, NEM, NXT, Lisk, Waves, NEO, Stratis, Chainlink, DragonChain and others.  The playing field is very competitive, but Ethereum has a clear advantage in usage and community.  Do you think these other projects stand a chance?  If so, which ones?
Neo is fairly popular i think it has chance to go long way. on other hand waves is an excellent platform, it also promising. it doesn't yet have smart contracts but will soon and couple of other things are on the roadmap, it could really explode(i hoard couple of waves Cheesy).
