Bayern Munich did a pretty good work there last night. A 3-0 win is quite convincing. But there is still a question mark when it comes to much tougher opponents. For example I still don't think they can eliminate teams like Manchester City and Real Madrid. Maybe they wouldn't lose by a big score gap either but still I don't think they can eliminate any of them.  Bayern Munich have already given up on the Bundesliga title after the bad results they got. I mean there is a chance mathematically but it is just too difficult. They would try to do their best in the Champions League at least but let's see how far they can go.  In this game of football it is one step at a time and one game after another. Bayern has done well by correcting their errors when they lost the first leg at Lazio. They replied with an emphatic socreline of 3:0 that's really to show how determined they are. Maybe when they face a bigger team, they will measure up to them. Bayern is no small team. Sometimes in football when you are playing a lesser opponents, you might struggle to win, but it comes to team of same standard you will level up your game and play with them. For me Bayern can eliminate any of the remaining teams in this competition. How can u conclude that Bayern can eliminate the remaining teams in the competition?can they win Manchester City?can they win Madrid and and Inter? These are teams who have a chance of lifting the trophy,I don't see Bayern winning those teams.It us true that Bayern are very good,no doubt,but they are not as good as Madrid,and City,and if I'm not making mistakes,with the way I'm seeing things so far in the tournament,it might be those two teams that will meet at the final of the tournament this season. |

Shefield United have been a team every team are using to get three points in the premier league this season,they have been in terrific form that has kept them at the bottom of the table.They were beaten by Arsenal last match,and will still be beaten in their next game. They will be among teams that will not escape religation this season.
Where as the the for the top four race is really getting intense.Aston Villa who flogged Arsenal,Mancity and other big teams are sittted right behind Arsenal at fourth position,and they will ensure they win all the games possible to be able to maintain that spot,else,their position is under threat.

It isn't early or late to discuss about the Champions league,infact,it is best we discuss it now because the champions league is a very competitive league that is full of surprises.Immagine Arsenal been defeated by Porto in the first leg of the champions league,when Arsenal were given a low odd and Porto were given the biggest odd.But at the dieing minute of the game,Porto ended the game with a one goal win,which has now put pressure on the Arsenal's team. I don’t really support any of the clubs in Premier league. I just sit down and watch well, but for my observation, Liverpool would do better this season,but it I want to be really easy for them because of the pressure Manchester City is on them.
So if I am to predict, I think Liverpool will do better this time but it won’t really be easy.
Liverpool are already doing better,they have been excellent since the start of the season,and are currently topping the premier league table till now,nobody added them to be among those contending for the premier league tittle this season,but they surprised everyone by topping the table.They will be facing Manchester City in their next game,and they currently top City with just 1 point,and will be going head to head with them this weekend.I think Mancity will win them because Liverpool have been struggling of late to win games,and if they should get a draw in this game,it will be better for them,but I don't see that happening.Nevertheless,let's see what happens in the weekend. |

Not sure if I can say Arsenal are good at what they do or Sheffield United are just experiencing a pathetic run of form which has lead to their broken spirit..like wtf 15 minutes and it's already 3 goals down and at the rate these lads are getting their goals, I expect to see not less than 7goals this evening especially that the likes of Saka aren't yet on the scoresheet and the usual attack-minded defenders haven't scored yet.
Btw, with what I have seen I think these boys aren't ready for the premier league and will be relegated for sure!!
I have expected this kind of performance from Asernal innthe last few matches back if they ever want to come close to the first spot as the distance between Asernal and topping the table got widened, but with a 5:0 goal in one match, it shows that it won't take long before the club break-in at least a little close to the top of the league. I guess it could have been easier for Arsenal in the last few weeks back to make an effort to break that record, but right now, their closest rival, Manchester City has taken a spot already being just a point lower than Liverpool who is the current top club in this season, but all the same, I wish them all the best as they make a significant mark tonight scoring 5 goals in the first half of the match tonight. Arsenal have demystified Sheffield United this night, The way Sheffield United are playing now in this second half, if they have played this, they wouldn't have conceived that much of goals the first half, Arsenal are playing as if they are playing with a lower division team, because they are literally in charge of every wing in this game. I'm looking at the league table now and it's really getting messier as the days goes by. Liverpool with 63 points, Manchester City with 62 and Arsenal 61. Nobody is letting go of his grip, with a one point difference from each other. Arsenal are really amazing at the moment,they have shown to the world what they are capable of winning any team that comes their way,and are finding ways to score this so many goals since they came back from the holiday.At this point,if they should meet Mancity,I'm really sure they would flog City.Its been long since Premier league had this kind of competition,which is so fierce,and non of the teams wants to drop points, but if any team is to drop points now,I think it will be Liverpool because they are finding it difficult to win some games,even the last game they played,they almost draw that game,but they narrowly escaped. |

The second leg of the Champions league round of 16 is around the corner,and the teams that lost in the first half will want to do everything possible to get the results that they really want in order to qualify for the next round of the tournament,which is the quarter final.A game I'm looking forward to seeing is the Arsenal vs the Porto game at the Emirates stadium.Arsenal really want to break the barrier of not qualify from the round of 16 for about 16 years now,while Porto want to also qualify to get to the quarter final.I see this match as very tough game between these two sides,and it will be very interesting to see the team that will emerge the winner.

Yesterday, Liverpool had a narrow escape in the hands of Northingham Forest,I thought the game was going to end in a draw,but I was schocked when Liverpool won at the last minute of the added time to make it 1:0.If Liverpool continue to play like this,then I'm beginning to think that their losing is at the corner,they will soon lose and either Mancity or Arsenal will take their position.
And also,the game between Mancity and Manchester United ended in a 3:1 in favour of City.This particular game,I knew Man u won't be able to stand City,even despite winning in the first half.

Tottenham will play at home and maybe that will be an advantage for them and now the competition at the top requires Tottenham to be able to win.
I think Tottenham and Crystal Palace are both inconsistent this season, especially in their last few matches, but if you look at the strength of these two teams, there is no significant difference so this match will probably be quite difficult for both teams.
Yes the home Match will surely be an advantage for Tottenham Hotspur but although lately they seem not to have been consistent on there home matches because there last match against wolves was a sad one for them even when they were playing from home they still lose to wolves, although considering there current state on the league table there is every chance they will always utilize the home advantage and win Crystal Palace because crystal Palace is also struggling on the league table and from the last four matches they played there inconsistency has made them win only one match and right now they are on the 13 position of the league table, so if Tottenham Hotspur could be consistent on that match they will surely win because they have more advantage over crystal Palace. It was a rough one for them losing to Wolves who seen to be in an incredible form recently.They have been able to beat big teams this season,and their form have not gone unnoticed.Hoever,this encounter between Totthenham and Crystal will not be as tough as that of the Wolves, Totteham knows quite well that they need to bounce back from that defeat to Wolves, and that can be achieved only when they put up a better strategy and formation in order to get the required three points in that gruesome encounter.I predict Totthenham to win by 3:1. |

Manchester United are lucky to have qualified to the next round of the cup tournament, their performance today was so awful that I thought Northingham Forest were going to win them,but thanks to Fernandes who played a beautiful free kick that went straight to the back of the net.With this kind of performance from Mam u,I don't think they will even have a chance to draw Mancity in their next premier league game.They are without their central attacker who was on fire before he got injured,and ever since then,their performance has dropped deeply.They have gone to the quater finals,but they won't get to semi finals because of their poor performance.

I have heard De Bruyne has some interest in him from Saudi Arabia. Manchester City are said to have set a price tag worth 100 million pounds for him if it is really true though.  But it wouldn't be surprising if it is either. Because De Bruyne is currently one of the best performing players in Europe. He is 32 years old maybe but it doesn't affect his performance negatively even a bit. He surely deserves to be priced at this level while there is a huge increase in every player's worth these days. Manchester City simply don't want to let him go. I think there would be a Saudi Arabia team to make an offer anyway. But would De Bruyne accept it? I also heard about the news from Kevin De Bruyne that he is going to move to Saudi Arabia, he even had offers from this league during last summer and they wanted to hire this player for a huge amount of money from Manchester City. But we all know Kevin De Bruyne is a key player in the team and they are not going to let him leave easily. That's why they asked for 130 million euros from any team they want to hire this Belgian player from Macnshter City which can make it completely impossible for the Saudi teams to hire De Bruyne from Manchester City.  This is still just a rumor because Kevin has not yet given a clear statement regarding his future, he has 1 season left on his contract at Man City and it seem like Man City still wants to keep this intelligent midfielder by extending his contract again. The return leg of the Champions league round 16 is around the corner,and the teams to win with highest goals will qualify,Mancity have already qualified to me, because I don't see any way Copenhagen can win them again,they are the only team to have qualified.For Lazio,Madrid,and Porto who won by 1:0,I still think the battle is very much on because for Arsenal,they might try to win 2:0 in the returning leg,Bayern might want to do thesame,and also Liepzig might struggle it out with Madrid because they really showed how good they are in their first leg.I cant wait to see how the returning leg will be like.

With the way City are winning games to a close margin,they may soon loose or draw.I watched their game against Bournemouth,and I can say if a strong team in form should meet them at the moment,they will win City.They are not really inform,but they are just showing they are Champions because that's how champions do.
Even when they aren't inform,they will still be winning games with just a goal.

Arsenal have done it again,flogging Newcastle 4:1 in a game that I thought was going to be very tough.Arsenal dominated the game through out the match,but in the late hours of the match,Joe Willock was able to break the deadlock of not scoring at Emirates stadium for about a decade.The game ended 4:1 in favour of Arsenal,and I believe this one must be a boost of confidence to the Gunners whom suffered defeat in Champions league against FC Porto.The gunners now seat one point behind City and two points behind Liverpool,so the three horse title race is still very active.

Arsenal really need a sharp attacker that can play as a central nine,because none of this current attackers can really deliver them when they need him the most.In the champions league yesterday, Barcelona got a 1:1 with Napoli,and it was their two attackers that scored the goals because they are reliable.Osimhen and Lewandowski got the goals for them to show how important a central nine is.
If Arsenal should be able to get a sharp attacker like Vampersie of those days,then they must have gotten a complete squad.

I hope Liverpool gets most of their players back before against the City, and stay fit until the end of the season.
They need their injured players back, but not just only for the City game; but to stay on the summit, because if they lose games against other opponents and beat City, it would not help their quest for the EPL title. Liverpool are missing quite a lot of their quality players right now through injury and they are in four competitions, if they don't get some of them back as soon as possible, it could have a negative impact on them, especially in the EPL. These set of players that are injured will have a big toll on them because Manchester city are a team that has been known for their consistent fight for the title till the final day of the premier league season and even Liverpool themselves can attestify to that and that's why they need to get those players intact and ready so to avoid any miscues as a result to unavailability of players and I know Manchester City for one will be very happy if they actually lose out on any game because it will a great advantage to them. It is because of this clash between City and Liverpool that has to make Arsenal stay consistent, because when the two teams will meet,it is obvious that one of the teams must drop points or share points,which will be of great advantage to the gunners because they might top the league if they still continue being behind those two teams with just a point,and also maintain the number of goals they have,they might top the tabke.Liverpool won yesterday against Luton that proves so stubborn by 4:1,which makes them top the table with four points.The battle is becoming interesting because none of these teams want to drop points at this point in time. |

Porto vs Arsenal 1-0. Arsenal as a whole dominated the game but Porto's very strong defense made it difficult for Arsenal to score goals.
And Porto's 1 goal in the remaining extra time scored by Galeno in the 90+4 minute was a painful goal for Arsenal.
Napoli vs Barcelona 1-1 and Barcelona's goal was scored by Lewandowski in the 60th minute, and Napoli's goal was scored by Osimhen in the 75th minute.
Arsenal failed to impress me in this game against FC Porto.The host were very much in the game,they got everything more than Arsenal apart form possession.The two Arsenal wingers were not able to function effectively especially Martinelli who was playing from the left wing,he was so fragile on the wing and wasn't able to dribble past his opponent anytime.They will go again in the second leg at Emirate stadium,and try to win that one,else,they are gone from the tournament.And I think this is going to have a way of affecting their moral going into Saturdays game against Newcastle. |
