301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANY PAXFUL ALTERNATIVES? on: February 19, 2024, 03:41:57 PM
Hey, does anyone know of any Paxful alternatives? They no longer offer service in my state so I need to find a cool alternative. Please let me know. I’m in the USA , California.
OKX would also be cool... They've extended their services to even more countries/countys(including yours)... I dunno know about how responsive they can be but I can say they're certainly effective. I'm afraid you'll need a to process your KYCs as they won't let you process anything without it.... They've also got the same strategy as Remitano does.

For every single day, things just start gettting worse instead... Makes me wonder how effective them cyber theft would be over the securities we've got ... I understand that at this point, it's solely our duty to protect our wallets and bank apps too... But I'm just tryna wonder how innovative these theft would be to always bypass every single hindrances...

They weren't referring to no biometrics bruh... There's a bypass only if the person can get few more details, plus your face card.... You wouldn't expect them to go about the normal process now, would you?

Well am suprised even to hear the possibility of someone having such amount of Bitcoin and still being so naive and clumsy to fall for such stories although no one can be certain on the story about the Bitcoin actually being stolen...[...]
I'm just as surprised as you are.. but we've got some dull set of Internet freaks that would not pay attention to details, no matter how big the instructions must have been inscripted on them magazines and journals...

it doesn't harm much to believe this must have happened ( cus it's quite unbelievable), but the dude must be pretty witless to have accepted to hand over his coins to an operator...

Still he is arranging funds from loan to play gambling, because he think that the recovery was possible at the place where he lost his money. What will be your suggestion for my friend to recover from the gambling addiction.
This is the worst fallback of all the stories I've read about gambling and its effects.... I wouldn't bother myself advising him no more... He's just lucky to have a good job that pays him just enough to gamble with - that man will never reject the deceptive call of gambling urge, no matter how hard you try.

look, I understand that you wanna help your friend by all means, but at the same time - he's not even willing to be helped... Does he wanna get tied up in room so he'd understand that he doesn't need to gamble anymore?

310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 16, 2024, 09:16:12 PM
If suddenly you went on a binge-gambling out of a lack of self-control or something else. For example, you deposit money in rapid succession after a series of losses and the casino management freezes your account. And when you call their customer support, they tell you that your account has been frozen for 3 weeks and the reason why they carried out that measure was because they suspected that you were gambling irresponsibly and decided to take that measure so that you can call yourself back to order, will you feel furious, cuss out, sign out of your account and register on another casino and continue betting. Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling or betting addiction?
There's no casino that would try to help you curb your gambling addiction; Mind you, casinos are businesses managed and controlled by people (their owners)...  It'll be a big loss should they try to ask you to stop wagering - cus the more you lose, the more they make profit...

...But lemme just assume this was the case - I'd simply say it doesn't curb the gambler's urge... They could actually decide to get registered on another site and the worst would be expected. Alot of gamblers may even go as far as absconding from the relative's sight should they try to disturb them (assuming this was a land-based casino issue too)

311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Escape Debt with Gambling: A Dangerous Cycle on: February 16, 2024, 09:01:28 PM
I was earlier skeptical and denied his request but he insisted that I take a look. I did and found that the games are not that tough to be rigged if done correctly but when I checked the account balance and found out that he had already invested a good amount of money to make a win and lost a substantial it I was furious with him. Now, he wants me to help him so that he can pay off his debt at the earliest. I have already told him that gambling is a dangerous cycle and it can lead him to more debt. Still, he insists that I help him and is willing to take a risk.
skepticism was one of the most proficient weapons you would have used to stoop below the request.. but sadly, you weren't even convinced that he was definitely on the wrong path.... What more should I have listened to after he ruined his own little cash before my very eyes?

Trying to wager on casinos with the high hopes of winning and paying off some debts would be the dumbest choices to make... If you've got a little cash, why not try to round up everything and see how you'd repay people's loan?

312  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verifying a supposed Crypto site on: February 15, 2024, 09:56:21 PM
I am wondering why newbies will leave the legit sites and go for non reputable ones like the one mentioned by OP.
Exactly my thoughts... I sometimes allow them to their fate cus there's alot going on already -- and as long as you're a member of this forum, there's been several informative threads on supposed scam sites .. maybe he got enticed by their services? Or maybe he's looking for some shitty site that wouldn't ask for KYCs cus he wanna pull a stunt with his account?? Cus what else??
The weird thing is how you found this site if it was from your friend how did your friend get this site? Or are you just taking some ideas from us to improve your site?
Could this be the case? It's obvious that he knows the site ain't legit, so what's the questioning for?... Just asking though
I have a question to all the people who go to these sites, but it will probably remain unanswered: why do you do it? What makes you interested in these shady sites. What are you trying to achieve?
They'll never give a valid response...

Fraud as a form of illicit enrichment was, is and will be. There is no escaping it. I am not saying that fraud should not be fought. But, in addition to fighting it at the state level, people need to learn to rely on their own strength in this area. Before using any services, people should learn to analyze information about the services they want to use. Otherwise, such people will lose their money.
what are the biggest forms of fraudulent activities? Can anyone be compared to what the governs are perpetrating?.. they just wanna put an end to money laundering and other illicit activities, but they don't see anything wrong with their  so-called democracy?..lol

well, they'll always be activities like that going on -- I like the fact that you made it clear that an individual's wallet is solely in his aboard -- and that their carefulness would guarantee it safety.

Even in this forum I have also seen high ranked members who are staff and with thousands of posts and merits yet they also post every day hoping to be merited as well , and the question again here Is when will they be satisfied?.
You mean? If they're ever gonna be satisfied of getting merited or ?.. nobody begs to get merited AFAIK; as long as you're being productive, you'll always keep them coming!

In general, Man's want is insatiable; lemme ask you this.. how much would you ever have that'll guarantee you to stop searching for more?. Now as long as you wouldn't stop grinding for a few more grands cus you've got real problems to solve, why should anyone do so?...
Ps: As long as you're alive, there's no limit to what you can achieve.

I sometimes find it very unpleasant to read crappy post from barely a line or two - with no factual content, criticism, affirmation etc.... talkmore of writing innit.

A typical spammer would always wanna begin an inquisition on topics that has been debated over and over again... Don't get me wrong; It's right for you to CRITICIZE constructively - what makes it dumb is tryna overemphasize whatever topic that was, thereby creating a scenario to DEVIATE from the actual point... They end up complaining for being assaulted over the stress they be putting most of us in reported them junk post

The betting platform is not to be blamed as the victim gambled using a betting agent? But he went to their betting site headquarter with no help given.
yes!! The betting platform isn't supposed to be blamed in a hurry - what if the operators in the said casino pulled-up with that stunt, with the head attendant and reps?..

The workers wanted to scam the man by not giving him any money.
I would believe this as it's been rampant even during the days when I was still a staff; A similar incident happened before my very eyes - someone's ticket was voided with a tool that could somehow erase the potential wins and could also reflect "lost" on it too... Immediately he (the gambler) looked into the system and realized that the game was manipulated, he began to strike very hard that the director had to intervene from his office....His money was later credited and the dude was sacked.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 14, 2024, 09:57:42 PM
When you are depending on someone for assistance because you want to gamble it means that you are risking what you can not afford to lose. Why because you don't have the money to gamble but someone have to give it to you before you can stake.
But when you have jobs that pays you money so well and you are gambling it means you are risking what you can afford to lose. Why because ones you lose your job will give you another money.
sheesss!!! You just mixing up the whole point. Why would anyone wanna beg for a grant to wager on a game? Sounds more like borrowing funds to play - gambling becomes an indecisive fun the moment you Begin to pick up games... You could even swap your tickets and start the predictions all over again for just one silly doubt... That's how crazy it can be.

secondly, for the fact that you've got some means to refill your pockets should gambling fail you doesn't create the gap that you can afford to lose - nobody enjoys losing eitherways so there's a possibility that the poor would condone more loses than the rich does.

How I'm I supposed to know that??? I don't know why they'd decide to create a thing like that, conscripting different rules just to adjust human lifestyle and attitude; to some Point, it makes a little requal sense..

people have realized rather how misleading this so-called religion could be -- say, if I should decide to smoke or drink, I'm i supposed to be regarded as an imp? Who really created religion?? cus I know it wasn't you buh don't nobody believe me (dax)

uhm.... FRANCE,Paris! Yes... The Eiffel tower!!!... I'm not tryna say this is ever gonna happen but somehow if it does, that's my first choice... whatever I'm craving for wouldn't be a relocation visa though... maybe some two-time recreational visa, educational visa would do.

I wouldn't even think of doing any recreational visits of any sort just yet; $2 million would be enough to get compensated -- off of the wholesome cash that's been wagered and lost over the months or years... The big question would be -- is there any casino that keeps their maximum payout at that amount?
