301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? on: February 13, 2024, 09:20:44 AM
You can get these results if you effectively find scam casinos that nobody knows and only you decide to trust them, use google search engine to find your next favorite online casinos, all what you are looking for will be there.

I only use online casinos through this forum, and I haven't been treated badly for once, when I send BTC or Tron to the casino it get deposited right away and when it's time to withdraw everything went smoothly, we avoid many online casinos because they are not reliable.

If you don't want bad things to happen to you when gambling online you should go after online casinos with good reputations, you are already on this forum, you can start using Fortune Jack or Stake.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 13, 2024, 07:52:38 AM
Who cares? Casinos don't care about your gambling experience, you are so welcome either old to gambling or new to gambling, there is always a first time to everything isn't it?

For safety reasons, age is just a number in gambling space, a 18 years old can be a responsible gambler while a 40 years old can lose his ways and become addicted.

If I have a 18+ old around me that want to start gambling I will like to tell them about my own experience, I will reveal a lot about gambling for them, so that they can know what to expect,  this will likely help them not to lose themselves.

There are so many aged gamblers today that are accepting that they are so stupid for jumping into gambling at a very young age and lost a lot of money, if they happen to advice a 18+ old kid, it would be helpful for them.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress? on: February 12, 2024, 11:50:39 AM
I've done it once, and this was an eye opening period for me, that was when I knew that I was risking too much on gambling, I got mad at myself and I reduce the amount even more lower.

Sometimes we really can't afford some things, even when we are getting a lot more and we think we can handle the spending, it's a lie, since a little drop of water makes a mighty ocean, every small amount you spend on gambling counts, it's very important to stay withing your means and do only what you can afford to.

Today I use less money but I don't want to keep looking back anymore, I know someone who is no more a gambler today because he calculated how much he have risked on gambling in a year and he regretted it, saying he could have save up the whole amount instead.
304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Browser app with a crypto wallet. on: February 12, 2024, 10:23:58 AM
Either it's Bitcoin wallet or not, I don't recommend using any browser with crypto wallet integrated, because one could be safe to use but not the other, browsers are not always safe to use normally, because you don't know what's in the next page you decide to surf, in browsers every thing is possible to go wrong, codes can be run in the background by the devs without you even knowing.

The feel of decentralized and privacy is absence, for me at least, because we trust bitcoin wallets that are open source and non-custodial I believe it won't be the same using a browser with crypto wallet integrated.

That feel of safety is lost, plug-ins for chrome browser and mozilla are unsafe, yea metamask is running as one on these browsers but I've never left $100 worth of crypto in my metamask wallet, I use it and dump it the fastest I could, still not giving me the safety vibe, it's just me, I would rather run a metamask app on my phone than on PC, don't take my words for it, this is my own feeling with browsers and crypto wallets.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 12, 2024, 09:55:05 AM
Where in the world are you people living? I don't have any old man telling me that gambling is good, they all seem to hate gambling, they call gamblers names and some said it's evil, for them it's a way to manipulate you and turn you into a useless being.

Parents in my country are always ready to disown their children if they go near a casino or any gambling locations, they talk about the devil instantly once they see you in a gambling location, they force you to pray that devil will never have his way in your life.

I don't blame them much, as seeing is believing, there are so many destroyed lives now due to gambling, they do have a right reason for thinking about gambling this way, so mate, no older person here will I dare introduce to gambling, it's like tarnishing your own image.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 12, 2024, 08:39:47 AM
Guys, do you often feel like me? when I raise the bet I lose and when I lower the bet I win. Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?
Yes casinos knows about you, the way you gamble is been recorded somehow, that's why the games you play on casinos will put you to test most of the time, remember that casino games are programmed to favour the casino more than the gamblers, always remember this.

When you win in a casino it's a good time to can it a day, come back another day and don't ever increase what you can afford to lose because you just win, keep using the amount that you are always fine with.

This is why I belief that strategies in gambling don't always last longer, you can get good results this week and if you gamble in the same way in the following week you will be consumed by losses, casino machines are build to confuse gamblers themselves, limit the time you spend in a casino.
307  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting without losing your money/no need for deposit on: February 11, 2024, 10:31:35 AM
Very attracting title OP

But the rest sound like someone who isn't practicing what they are preaching.

Based on your title, if you truly know how to place betting and not lose money, I swear you won't be ready to share it no matter what, you will take advantage of it, by locking yourself in your room and start making making, even after you've made a lot of money and you want to consider others, you will prefer to start selling them some course instead.

Those who really have a solution to something that seem very impossible to win will rather keep it all to themselves and never share with a soul, there is no such thing as gambling and not losing money.

To not lose money while we gamble means we do it for free by not depositing any amount, maybe using a Demo or free account, every real bets requires fund and risk of losing money will always be there.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: If Banks make money out of loans then they should reward those who borrow on: February 11, 2024, 09:35:18 AM
If loan is so bad why take loan in the first place?

If the banking system is fraud like or just so wrong, why take loan?

I know people like this, they are many in this world today, they only know how to blame someone or something when they are not getting their way with it or with them.

After taking loan and wasting everything away, now the banking system is so wrong, this is a stupid accusation, if you hate loan just like I do, stay away from loans and banks.

You choose to keep your money safe using the banks, they have every right to use your money if they want, the only problem you can have with them is not getting your money when you need it, that's their job, to keep your money safe for you, if you can do it yourself, then withdraw all your fiat and take it home.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 11, 2024, 08:03:33 AM
That type of friends are rare, even close friends don't care about a friend addiction, they are not fully aware of themselves and if one become a addicted gambler the rest will probably end up the same way.

The friends should avoid gambling for a while, and the addicted one will slowly give up and follow his friends footstep, some people are like this, they easily copy their friends and few times they overdo it.

Influence is a scary thing in some area, this day where you can like someone for who they are and decide to follow them, for the love you have for them you are ready to change because of them, there are so many humans that are build this way, but I am not one of them, I always believe that I am different and I am not ready to change because I like someone, I respect who they are and I respect myself too.

The friends did the right thing, I could quit gambling if I am one of the friends, since it all began from the group, so they are in power to put an end to their friends addiction.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 11, 2024, 07:22:50 AM
People who find it way to take a break from gambling are not so into gambling, they are the type that do gambling for fun sake only, they choose days to gamble and they easily day no when they don't feel like.

Some people don't rely on gambling for source of income, and this is a fact, if you can't take break from gambling you are someone who have some expectations from gambling, it doesn't make you an addict yet but it could later.

Too much of gambling exposure makes one a gaming addict, try taking a break, you can't? Then you expect to accomplish some things using gambling, and this my friend, is not a good way to become a gambler, it's about taking control and be the boss.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Struggle now to invest in Bitcoin for a bright future. on: February 10, 2024, 01:37:30 PM
Do it the easier way, don't turn bitcoin investment into a must, don't starve yourself, as we age everyday the body part gets weaker, only those who maintain their body in terms of health wise will have a better future when they get old, I can't say I regret going the hard way when I start this bitcoin journey but I almost said it when I pushed myself too far.

Start getting payment, through jobs and use some percentage to invest in Bitcoin, it gets no better than this, continue to live your life and in the future you will reap the benefit, to have a easy future is why investing in Bitcoin isn't a bad idea at all, holding Bitcoin pays on the long haul.

The hardest condition when you want to invest is not having a source of income.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 10, 2024, 09:37:51 AM
If suddenly you went on a binge-gambling out of a lack of self-control or something else. For example, you deposit money in rapid succession after a series of losses and the casino management freezes your account. And when you call their customer support, they tell you that your account has been frozen for 3 weeks and the reason why they carried out that measure was because they suspected that you were gambling irresponsibly and decided to take that measure so that you can call yourself back to order, will you feel furious, cuss out, sign out of your account and register on another casino and continue betting. Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling or betting addiction?
I will like to see such response from a online casino customer service because it sounds too good to be true, casinos will rather allow you to keep gambling and keep losing everything, it's good for their business, trying to make you stop or control your desire for gambling is like telling people not to gamble, it's clear that they will start making less money.

The only way this idea makes sense is if the gambler is the blocking himself off the casino for a while and later decide to reopen the account, maybe after getting control of themselves again.

Even if your own way is possible, it won't help the gambler to limit his irresponsible gambling because to them they are doing what's needed to be done, you can't force someone to stop their addicting gambling behaviour, it's only the gambler that can stop themselves, they can abandon a casino if they are blocked and open another.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 10, 2024, 08:27:45 AM
Gambling addiction is something quite different from domestic violence, only an irresponsible man will get himself into such menace of engaging into domestic violence, gambling addiction is just a pattern of someone gambling more often than not, domestic violence has to do with an individual person characters, temperament and behavioral attitude in tolerating each other, you're being addicted doesn't means you have bad manners to have engage in domestic violence, it may also be the other way round as the case may be.

Gambling addiction can bring out other bad characters that was already inside you but you have always being able to control the emotions. As you get addicted and start losing money you won't be able to control other emotions and they begin to come out to the open. We all have anger issues but we have being managing it or control it but when you get addicted and starts drinking too to forget about your losses, you won't be able to have control over your emotions.

Some individuals can control their violent behaviour even when they're addicted and losing money always but not all individuals can control it. Gambling addiction can lead to other addiction behaviour and also lead to other unfriendly behaviours this is the reason gambling addiction isn't a good thing to have. Don't put all your attention on gambling or you will be disappointed and frustrated from gambling.
Well done brother, everyone has a bad side, mine is anger management issue, I am able to keep myself under control but few times I always lose my cool, I might fall victim if I get addicted to gambling and lose a lot of money, but thankfully I know how to protect myself from gambling addiction before I even start gambling.

Some people are already bad before they start gambling, they are the type that use forces to hijack peoples belongings and put the blame on gambling, they result into stealing from other people and possibly inflicting pain of them.

Such people should face the law if they commit any crime, the law won't pity you for losing money in gambling and hurting other people because of your loss, what you give is what you get.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 10, 2024, 07:48:22 AM
I've sold things to buy crypto and Bitcoin, and so far I don't regret doing it, because I am in good profits but I won't dare do the same for gambling, the risk is enormous.

Things I can sell my properties for.

1. Digital assets aka Bitcoin and co
2. Shares/Stock
3. Unpopular skill

Gambling is a game, with two sides of results, it doesn't make sense to risk a lot on gambling, there are better things you can risk a lot more on but not gambling, the type of risks fits for gambling are the smallest that you can afford to risk.
315  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Isn’t it better late than sorry? on: February 08, 2024, 07:51:21 AM
You are actively cautious, and that's not bad, focus on anything that will make you buying Bitcoin something you will be proud of, and not regret later.

Don't leave your Bitcoin on any centralised exchange, you are not a full time trader, move all of your bitcoin into a open source Bitcoin wallet.

Invest on a hardware wallet if you can, it's not a must though but it's great way to add extra safety for your Bitcoin and if you can't there are good software wallet too like BlueWallet or Electrum wallet.

Keep your recovery seed very safe, avoid sharing with anyone, and don't go around telling friends and family that you are now a Bitcoin holders it's not safe.

Don't give up, it's not too late, and make sure you are investing only what you can afford to lose in Bitcoin, tomorrow is not even certain so anything can happen, invest the max of 10% from your income into Bitcoin.
316  Other / Off-topic / Re: Having a regular/steady income is important as a gambler. on: February 07, 2024, 09:59:25 AM
If you do not earn, where will you even see the money to gamble? If your weekly income is not enough, that means it is foolishness that will make such a person to gamble. But if you are able to earn enough and safe and able to use like 1 to 5% of your weekly income to gamble without affecting you and your family financially, that is wise.

Gambling though is a risky game that the chances of winning and losing is in equilibrium but however in other for one to have a possibility of winning, it requires a steady income.
Having a steady income does not guarantee that you will have possibility of winning while gambling.
OP included gambling, feeding and others in his topic, this means making enough money and be able to safe for other responsibilities too, if one weekly income is not enough they won't die because they can't gamble in that same week, and most of all, it's not important to gamble every week.

The truth is most gamblers are not making enough, saying that someone is making enough feels like no real need at all to become a gambler, making enough will probably limit your gambling activities, a full stomach hardly reason on ways to increase their income than someone who is hanging between a hungry stomach and a full stomach.

Some people only know how to thrive when they are seeing hard times, when things start going so smooth they start to relax.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be a hope restorer if we go about it wisely! on: February 07, 2024, 08:52:03 AM
Many gamblers could have make use of gambling wisely when they win some money, but majority of them want to keep winning, you can gamble for months with no good luck and once you win there should be no need to tell you that you need to use the money for something upbringing in your life.

There are many stories of people turning their lives around immediately after they won some money from gambling, it's because they are reasonable people, they think about their lives in the most positive ways, they believe that gambling is by chance, and the luck won't always be there.

Sadly, many people would rather try to rely on gambling, like it's their main source of income, or waste the money on things that won't do any good to their lives, there are more numbers of gamblers that reason this way than those that use gambling money for business or investment.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Older men vs Younger boys in gambling, Which enjoys Gambling for fun the more? on: February 07, 2024, 07:33:48 AM
One is careless and one is full of experience, who do you think will enjoy something as dangerous as gambling the most? The older men I believe, because there was a time when they are young and reckless too, they must have lost a lot and win a lot, in that older age, they will have regrets at heart, saying if they have knew.

I haven't seen a older gambler that start gambling at their older age, they already have a taste of gambling at their younger age, maybe in school or other, if you don't have passion for gambling you won't look at it when you are older.

This is why its harder for older men and women to accept Bitcoin, they are used to real estate and lands investment in the past, for many years of their lives and Bitcoin came around, it's already going to look like a piece of joke to them, that's why they are stubborn when you try to introduce Bitcoin to older people.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably Fair- How Can You Know? on: February 07, 2024, 06:53:27 AM
Assuming it's provably fair, you will still lose your money, I don't bother looking into this anymore because it's like chasing a shadow, even if you caught up with it you can't catch it, why worry myself? Instead, I will keep taking risks to see how long it will take me to win on the casino.

I only need to make sure that I am using a reputable online casino, the doubt of provably fair occurs only if the casino is brand new or you keep losing for way too long, maybe weeks after weeks and no a single luck even if the amount is small, it might be time to look into another online casino or take a break.

Some gamblers prefer third party game provider for this reason, if a casino only have games built by them, there might be some unfairness happening behind the scene, some relies on seed harsh that casinos provide too, I don't rely bother to doubt, because I use good casinos to try my luck.
320  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DO NOT plug random cables and sticks into your device. on: February 06, 2024, 02:13:35 PM
There is nothing that anyone can tell me, it's a big risk running a PC with crypto wallet or assets on the PC, there are many ways that your PC can get infected, I spent most of my youth days doing experiments on PC, windows OS is not strong when it comes to security wise.

This was why I went with a airgapped hardware wallet that I can update the software without having to plug into a PC for upgrade, and the one I choose has no wifi or internet connection needed, PC isn't that safe like you think, even if you are so careful you can still make a mistake one day when operating the system.

Now I can do anything I want on my PC, there is no crypto related things stored on my PC so I can install what I want without having to deal with the fear that something bad could go wrong.
