Do you guys have any idea what's the house edge in Edgeless's roulette game? Had a really bad losing streak

I think it actually should be......Edgeless Tongue

https://whitepaperdatabase.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Edgeless-EDG-Whitepaper.pdf

I doubt they have 0% edge in all the games especially the roulette game because I can't be so unlucky lol.

It's mathematically proven. If you really want to investigate, you can check the code and also the random number generator algorithm used. Far cry from online casinos where you have to trust what the website is telling you.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there still opportunities for ICO? on: March 18, 2019, 05:40:59 PM
Of course there still are ICO opportunities, you just have to look for it harder unlike two years ago when they are like mushrooms. There are hidden gems if you look hard.

Who Could Confirm This A Scam?

Anyone with a few functioning brain cells.

I especially like their phone number, which they share with the British Standards Institute (BSI).

Times are really bad when even scammers are becoming too lazy. Good for us anyway, red flags can be spotted in seconds and not waste time anymore.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟[ANN]ATLANT Real Estate Platform| 🌟🌟 on: March 07, 2019, 12:27:03 PM
You are very right as the supply of atl tokens is also not big so as soon as we see good trading volumes and overall good volume and bulls in the market coupled with full development and successful operation of atlant platform we can expect moon and i think we may see new all time high price for atl.

Wanna bet that the first real rally for the Atlant ATL token will be a sudden jump to 14 cents? That's already a 5X'er for you. The exchange where ATL is traded is empty of traders. This is the reason why I believe it will rally fast. The liquidity and trading volume is dismal but the coin supply is very low. Even a trading volume of $100,000 will place it around 20 cents instantly.

Starting from today, Edgeless is launching a weekly Jackpot. For 4 weeks in a row, players will have the opportunity to win 30,000 EDG tokens, which is equivalent to over 1 BTC.

And critics say the Edgeless team has no funding left to pursue its roadmap. I believe the gambling industry is the easiest sector to penetrate by blockchain technology.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: March 07, 2019, 12:13:06 PM
On the Internet, you can already pay with cryptocurrency, not everywhere of course, but the list of available places is constantly growing, but there is no normal access to the real market yet, business is not interested

The reason why adoption is slow is because of the price volatility. Major economic players once met to stabilize world currencies and were successful. Thus ushering in a world that is the most interconnected in modern times.

I believe cryptocurrencies will also do the same thing in the future. However that doesn't stop payments and remittance projects to try using blockchain tech. EthaRemit.org has been testing solutions to that end.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: March 06, 2019, 10:56:17 PM
Without risks, there will be no gain or profit - no pain, no gain. If people don't take risks, our world will be at a standstill without these trailblazers. That also goes for investing or trading.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: March 06, 2019, 10:53:34 PM
Apparently the investors are in Binance, buying the latest ICOs in seconds.  Grin If you wanted to invest, focus on coins that address the important use cases like Global Remittance. Check out ETHAremit.org. No ICO yet but good to monitor in the following months.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO culture dead already? on: March 06, 2019, 10:48:48 PM
ICO is still very much alive. I doubt it is going away any time soon.  I honestly trust projects  that are Crowd/ICO funded and as long as they are solid projects.

As regards projects like the cryptocurrencies you mentioned, I know few but for the sake of not knowing them well enough I will keep the information to myself.

Yeah, just look at the recent Binance ICOs, you would think it was mid-2017. Their recent ICOs sold out in seconds! The money is still there, the smart money that is.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans for this year on: March 05, 2019, 05:27:03 PM
The Usual. Accumulate the dumps noobs make and then when the panic dumping is over and depression sets in, markets will recover as they often do when it is fundamentally game-changing. And then sell the tops to noobs once again.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 05, 2019, 05:25:34 PM
Great news from ETH. From what I see, Ethereum will be this futuristic innovator of blockchain technology while Daddy Bitcoin will be the stable and non-changing base cryptocurrency. I wonder when will ETH outgrow BTC.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO culture dead already? on: February 28, 2019, 10:55:09 AM
ICO hype dying down is good imho. Because the real good projects can work in earnest. Remittance and other use cases are sustainable and can be achieved in a few years. ETHAremit.org has already laid the ground work to put crypto into the hands of the money remitting masses.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: SendFriend gets investments from Ripple, Mastercard, Barclays on: February 28, 2019, 10:52:37 AM
We will soon see if this is cost-effective. However many other remittance-focused ventures such as etharemit.org have started eliminating barriers to conversion.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it good to invest in ETH? on: February 27, 2019, 08:44:42 PM
Anytime is good to invest in ETH. Yes, there might be catastrophic consequences for wrong trading decisions but timing a perfect entry is too hassle to begin with. In the macroview, it will go up so high, it doesn't matter how low you bought.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: February 27, 2019, 08:41:12 PM
That kind of price movement was expected Pundi X was so quite but this is the beginning of this tsunami it will get recover much faster now. Its trading at nice price this is good sign for those who are holding this from long time and pick on dip.
Yeah we see that trend with almost all projects. It only starts now.

This reminds me of February 2015, everything was a ghost town cuz no work and the bear market trend was nowhere in sight. Though everyone is anticipating a breakdown to happened first.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It's time to sell on: February 26, 2019, 09:12:51 PM
It's time to buy,  just like when the price went parabolic last December 2017. Now is the lowest price you could buy. It most likely won't go down any further. You should sold during the parabolic high.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got burned! goodbye easy money! on: February 26, 2019, 09:09:32 PM
"Still, it is precisely when most people lose hope, stumble and falter, that the greatest opportunities arise. The night is darkest before dawn. But the dawn is coming." - Beniamin Mincu CEO of Elrond Network

Check out a great article on making sense of the crypto winter and some vision for future: https://medium.com/elrondnetwork/vision-roadmap-milestones-bde4542a3047

I don't get what the OP has anything to do with the thread title. There is no connection whatsoever. Buying today is the point of maximum profit and the most least risk - aka the saying "Buy when there's blood on the streets."

If you got burnt badly, you must have bought at the top of everything which is the riskiest buying of all.
318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the beginning of the arrival of a bull run? on: February 26, 2019, 07:10:20 PM
But unfortunately the prices again fell down the the lower lows which is really bad and I am worried that the prices will fall to new lows if the traders are decided to dump their profits which happened few days back.

Next stop for the bull run is April? Or May?

I think on March 1, the price action will be clearer if a trend reversal is coming or not. The current support levels has to strengthen yet.

This is what I use and it runs offline too.

I have been using it for four years.
320  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know a good crypto. on: February 25, 2019, 09:41:05 PM
A "good crypto" is a coin that has many uses or at least a singular strong use case. The question you want to ask: Can it benefit new residents or new employee.
