301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 10, 2024, 06:31:21 PM

The Elephant are staying on top, for one more week.

No action for us next week, but we return to face City, and if we win we stay ahead with a game to spare (on City at least).

P.S, Diaz, Allister and Van Dijk were brilliant today.

302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We need more multiplayer casino games! on: March 10, 2024, 01:56:41 PM
It looks fun on paper, almost like a multi player video game, but it cannot be effectively implemented in gambling. What most casinos do is allow players to play against each other, but not together as a team against the house.

On the side of the players, staking and sharing a pot other players whose skill level you are unaware of will not be that attractive. It also complicates the winnings and payouts which change as the game goes by and players lose out.

Besides Arsenal team don't act in accord with fair-play. After this match I have lost my sympathy for Arsenal.
What does this even mean? Everyone should stop boxing Arsenal in and deciding how the players/coach acts and reacts.

The Elephant is back on top, and could remain there when the dust settles for this match-week.

You are spamming the forum with the exact same thread and breaking forum rules in the process. This is a scam accusation topic, so this thread is the only one you should have created.

You should also use the proper reporting format[1] to make it easier to understand.
Lastly, to share screenshots, send them through a secure image hosting website and not google drive.

305  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Locked out of Kraken Account and they arent helping, what do I do? on: March 09, 2024, 07:35:00 AM
Ive been locked out of my Kraken account for over 48 hours and have sent multiple trouble tickets with no responses.
They do that cause they can. Do not give exchanges control over your finances.
As much as is possible, move your funds out of there after you are done trading.

So now I am locked out with no way to access the account.  Funny how I just sold all my bitcoin and was heavy on cash when this happened.  Almost like they anticipated me withdrawing the funds, which I wasnt going to do I just wanted to buy some other coins.
You have only two options, one is to wait for the support to give you a response and the other is to try and force a response by creating some noise about your case on social media, targeting spaces where they have their customer base; twitter, reddit, YouTube etc.

306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 09, 2024, 07:17:19 AM
After the first knock down, Francis didn't know what to do and all strategies have been throw out of the window and you can see in his facial expression that he has lost already.
"Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the face", and this is taking nothing away from Francis, he is an amazing UFC fighter and a good boxer, on another night, with better preparation and a more controlled game plan, his fight with Joshua can go the full distance.

All credits has t go to Joshua now. He came out firing on all cylinders and earned himself an early evening rest an a fat pay cheque.

307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 09, 2024, 06:55:35 AM
I think if gamblers could take certain step in setting up regular self examining question towards themself it will be helpful to them in their gambling life not to ignorantly be harbouring a gambling addiction or compulsive gambling lifestyle.
This is a very helpful tip. Examining your overall stakes over a period of time and comparing it to your winnings would give you a perfect perspective of how much you are winning or losing. A gambler should also check the amount of time they invest in gambling to determine if they are spending an absurd amount of time in it and need to cut down.

Gambling is very fun and exciting when done in moderation and not entirely with the desire to profit.

308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 08, 2024, 09:37:19 PM
The comments by Trent Alexander Arnold on the manner in which both clubs have built their teams look a lot like mind-games to me. City spend a lot of money, but Liverpool spend a fair amount of money as well to remain competitive and for the players in the clubs to shine a spotlight on the amount of money in the sport now, it creates a lot of drama.

Guardiola answered the interviewer brilliantly, when asked for a comment, but I am certain he will be galvanizing his team for a clash, using the tension as fuel to motivate his players.

Liverpool have the edge cause they are playing at home, a ground many clubs hate to play at, especially City who have a poor run of form there. Hopefully they draw and Arsenal can climb to first place.

309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 08, 2024, 09:25:11 PM
Barcelona still has a chance to win against Mallorca because Xavi still hasn't included Lewandowski as far as the match is going.
Xavi still entrusts the 18 year old young striker to the center forward position with his own formation.
Lewandoski is not the game changer he used to be, none of the Barcelona players are playing up to their full potential at the moment. Xavi has been decent but has not been able to get the best out of these crop of players and does not have the best team management to try and keep as much players as possible fit.
Lewy is on now.

Guiu is very young, so I would not criticize him too much. The team is also not performing well as a whole, very little he can do.

310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 07, 2024, 09:07:08 PM
I will tip Roma to win tonight.
I expected Roma to win, but did not expect anything close to the dominating performance they put up tonight. It appears managers have come up with a good counter play to the style of play Roberto Di Zerbie uses. He loves his team to play out the man through the press, while taking out 3 or 4 players, then use the width to open up space.

De Rossi brilliantly countered that and had a brilliant attacking response.

Lervekusen barely kept their unbeaten run alive and Liverpool made easy work of Prague

Liverpool go 2 goals ahread through an amazing strike from Darwin Nunez. He misses from 3 yards out but likes to score the most difficult of chances from impossible positions. You would think the defenders would have not stood off from him in that position.

The Sparta Prague keeper should have done better there, but in football when you don't take your chancesz you get punished. The momentum firmly with the reds now.

312  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Old blockchain.info wallet from 2014 and before -16,17,19 words precovery phrase on: March 07, 2024, 05:54:12 PM
They said this ID is linked to an email address which definitely isn't mine (they didn't give me the full address but a couple of letters)
Should I assume that my wallet has been hacked and that the hackers changed the email address?
Yes, that is the reasonable assumption given the situation. Have you checked the email address for any message of a change in email address or an access to the wallet that you did not initiate.

I have no idea what to do now. Do Blockchain have a fraud department?
I have the set up email address and all security info.
Give that information to their support, reporting the account as hacked. If you had any funds on the wallet before, you can consider that lost already.

313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 07, 2024, 05:39:15 PM
Out of all the early fixtures, Roma vs Brighton is the most balanced tie. Both Liverpool and Leverkusen are expected to win their opponents easily over both legs, even if they put up a bit of a fight for the first leg.

Roma have also been very strong at home this season and would give Brighton a run for their money in tonight's fixture. Brighton have had a very shaky season, with unpredictable performances. I will tip Roma to win tonight.

314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: March 06, 2024, 04:08:35 PM
How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?
The first aspect of regulating your emotions is to stake responsibly. When you overstake, your emotions can get the better of you while playing games and you make wrong decisions.

You should also take the safe decisions at all times, especially with cashouts. Many players try to take as much money as they can and refuse to cashout even when they get a good deal. I recommend to take that deal as the outcomes are not guaranteed.

315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 06, 2024, 03:54:25 PM
Just as yesterday's fixtures went according to the script, today's are expected to go the exact same way as well. Manchester City are already well ahead of the tie and they are playing at home, so they should make light work of their opponents, same as Real Madrid. It's only a one goal lead for the Galacticos, by they are masters of this competition and know how to finish knock out matches off.

Next week's fixtures would be the real tough ones that will be difficult to predict.

316  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC created new ATH before Halving: are you surprised? on: March 05, 2024, 08:16:38 PM
I want to know your views on BTC reaching a new ATH before the Halving:
  • Are you surprised by this event?
  • Do you think this signals a new stage for BTC history?
  • Are you worried that this event will disrupt the market's cyclical nature and future predictability?
Now, not so much surprised, the price has been leaning towards going above the ATH for weeks now. But in general it comes as another shock that this cycle has come with.

A lot of events before now has signalled that Bitcoin is getting into a new phase and now more than before, past events can deviate from future actions. What we don't know is how much deviation to expect.

Not worried. Change is constant.

Tonight definitely would decide if Tuchel gets to stay till the end of the season. They obviously have decided to part ways at the end of the season, but an early exit from the Chanpions League, couples with being 10 points behind in the Bundesliga may mean that they let go of him much earlier.

PSG already have one feet in the quarter finals. Real Sociedad were very competitive in the first leg and would put up a very good fight at home. Would make for an interesting watch.

Oops indeed. I knew they were bad but I couldn't bear watching after 20 minutes. Take nothing away from Arsenal -- they no longer are the team that can't beat Burnley on a rainy day. Sheffield United displayed the worst 15 opening minutes I've seen in the Prem League for a long, long time.
Sheffield were terrible, not top division quality at all. It's all but certain now that they would be going under come end of the season and the players are playing like they've accepted that fate too.

Didn't realise you were a Gooner, good on you. That brittleness you share with Spurs seems to be disappearing with every season under Arteta.
Noisy neighbors.

Spare a thought for Jesus who subs on with them no longer needing a striker.
Must suck for him to see the team scoring so much goals and not being part of any, but it's a team sport. As he gets back to fill fitness, he'll most definitely seemore minutes.

319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 04, 2024, 08:57:49 PM
Not sure if I can say Arsenal are good at what they do or Sheffield United are just experiencing a pathetic run of form which has lead to their broken spirit..like wtf 15 minutes and it's already 3 goal's down
Arsenal are just that good. We did it against Newcastle last week, not the exact same scoreline, but we totally bosses the game from start to finish. At some point they had a win percentage of 0 according to the bookies.

We've given 5 star performance, after 5 star performance. We have been excellent since the trip to Dubai.

I was thinking that Arsenal would be able to win comfortably tonight. However their starting this quick was a surprise for even me...
30 goals in 6 and a half matches. How good we've been in this second half shows when you realize we've only scored 67 goals all season in a total of 27 games. Almost half of our goals have come in 7 matches.

We still face both teams above us, so our future is still in our hands.
