301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: July 20, 2023, 09:47:50 AM
The tide has turned for XRP, as it is no longer considered security. The judge's verdict was swift after the news circulated in the crypto market. XRP experienced a rapid surge, and in my opinion, this is just the beginning; I believe XRP will see further gains in the upcoming months, which is why I decided to purchase it.

Hope you are right mate! I had so many hating when I asked if XRP could outperform Bitcoin over the next few years but I asked that question assuming they would win and now they have I see good times coming over the next few years now for XRP.

My average price I have for XRP is $0.42 and I am expecting at least an 8x on that in 2025 maybe even next year
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - why no major pump? What to expect now? on: July 20, 2023, 09:23:41 AM
I am still holding , want a price of $1.25 before I even think of selling that would be a 3x for me
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - why no major pump? What to expect now? on: July 17, 2023, 12:01:48 PM
I have only been invested in XRP for 3 months and its great they have now won the case but I expected more.
You are lucky that you invested in XRP before Ripple won the case. It means you bought XRP at a cheap price. I assume you must buy XRP when the price was still below $0,5. You probably got enough profits if you sold your XRP a few days ago, when XRP price passed above $0,8. But if you expected more than $0,8, you must wait for the altcoin season.

For months I have been reading and watching videos online of predictions ranging from $2-10 when they win case and it didnt even reach $1. Why?
It is just a prediction, it never guarantees the increase will be as expected. I even feel surprised that there are people who predicted XRP bounce back to $2-$10 in a short time. Although XRP has good news, but the price takes time to achieve its ATH. Moreover, if people wants the price to go up more than $5, it seems unrealistic hope. Anyway, I am sure XRP will pass $1 again as long as there will be no negative news again. Just keep your XRP if you expect to sell it above $1.

Yes my average price is $0.45 - I expected it to go above $1 at least once they won case so didnt sell any.

I will just hold for now as I do expect it to go past $1 easily now, just not sure if that will take days or weeks.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - why no major pump? What to expect now? on: July 17, 2023, 09:26:18 AM
It just pump almost 70% after they won the case against the greedy SEC and that alone was already a win win situation. That's only the beginning of it hence it has been sideways for three years but the comeback is here for XRP to prove that it is an OG in the industry that can flip anyone in the market cap. Just give it time because in crypto, patience will always be the key of success.

Yes , I am not going to sell any until it reaches $1.35 which would be a 3x for me , maybe take out half my investment and then just hold the rest long term.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - why no major pump? What to expect now? on: July 15, 2023, 11:36:44 PM
My average buy is 50 cents so I am happy and feel I will at least 3x my money i just assumed that once it did win it would happen straight away. I never believed those who said it would 10x but did think it would at least 2 or 3x.

I can wait and if we do fall another 10% or so will buy more. It should at least reach $1 in the coming days/ weeks which would be a 2x for me.

I will then just have to decide if I should sell or not  Huh

I will hold for now and buy more if we go lower but did expect more , what is everyone else thinking?

308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Trading as a newbie - advice? on: July 15, 2023, 01:49:12 PM

I have only been into XRP for 2-3 months and I haven't sold yet.

Even I have been left feeling ‘is that it?’ as it didn't even 2x in price after everyone saying it will 5-10x once they win the case. It has even been relisted on Coinbase and that doesn't seem to have done anything.

I will continue holding and wont sell any until I 3x my money at least which would mean XRP going to $1.25.

If I had been buying the last 2 years like many have then I would be disappointed with the outcome so far but I do think we will see another pump soon and eventually get past $1.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: July 14, 2023, 01:00:47 PM
XRP wins  Grin

This is why asked the question - 80% pump in a few hours. Will take Bitcoin days or months to see that type of gain.

I am surprised it has not pumped more though I will continue to hold and when it gets to a price I am comfortable with will put a lot of the profits into Bitcoin.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: July 14, 2023, 10:25:51 AM
Up until now I have not really thought about getting involved with XRP however have been doing more research and if they win the case feel it could really do well.

With a market cap of $21m already, how high can this really go if all goes well?

Think I may start to DCA into it and if it does win the case then who knows how high it can go, wouldn’t be surprised if it still did a 15x or more from current price.

Are you for or against XRP?

If it wins, if not it looks like XRP will be as normal as it is now. Yes. I don't dislike buying XRP, I'm just waiting for the right moment even though the current price is still considered very reasonable and cheap. I personaly in this moment  focusing on ADA, Btw, it seems there is a strong movement in the last 2 days.

XRP won yesterday!

Great news not just for XRP but all crypto.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: July 14, 2023, 09:14:05 AM
XRP for the win!  Grin

Has not blown up as much as I thought it would though considering this has going on for few years.

For those who also hold XRP - what is your plan?

I am not looking to sell just yet.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala - can someone explain current supply/potential? on: July 13, 2023, 02:38:48 PM
Thanks Yogee,

I will hold my Gala for now and buy if we fall below 2 cents to bring my average buy down.

Hopefully we are only a few months away from bull run so we will know soon how well this will do.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Gala - can someone explain current supply/potential? on: July 13, 2023, 08:12:59 AM
Hi all,

I have been in Gala for quite a while and since the upgrade in May there has been a lot of confusion when it  comes to their supply and potential in the coming bull run.

Many people sold their position after the upgrade in May however I have just held but haven't bought any since.

The current price should be appealing but I am put off by a lot of talk going round saying the potential of Gala is not so great anymore due to the increased supply.

Can someone explain this as I am fairly new to understanding tokenomics and how it affects potential price.

I initially started to invest in Gala in the hope it would reach at least $1 next bull run but many are saying now it will struggle to even reach 50 cents.

I am just not sure what to believe and if I should buy these lows to bring my average buy down or just hold and hope for the best.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Algorand dead or can it recover? on: July 11, 2023, 09:49:08 AM
Is anyone buying these lows?

I am waiting for 10 cents before I buy again - if it doesn't fall that low I will just hold what I have till 2025 and hope it recovers.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Litecoin halving next month - worth investing? on: July 06, 2023, 08:08:13 PM
I have only just come across Litecoin after reading it’s next halving is in early August.

Everyone says how well the markets move when Bitcoin halving occurs so is it not an ideal time to invest in Litecoin with its halving so close?

I am thinking of throwing in a bit of money in the hope it at least does a 2x in the next month or so.

Anyone else into Litecoin and will it rise during the halving next month?
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GALA - realistic bull prediction? on: June 28, 2023, 11:33:32 AM

The token has reached its bottom and the token could still go up in the bull run if it's not going to die. There is just no assurance that it can surpass its ATH. Many tokens behaved this way even the tokens back in 2017 bull run didn't go well in 2021 including the XRP which was constantly being hyped.

If you have to hold, it then hold it. It's all up to you especially if you have it at the price of £0.56, that's terribly a wait for you.
If the supply already is disappointing to you, it's all up to you still.

I don't have it at 56p, that is the all time high price.

My average price is 3p so am just debating when I should look at selling if its at 6p for a 2x or hope it reaches around 20p again which would almost be a 7x for me.

I just wanted to be realistic and not expect all time high prices if its unlikely to happen now.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GALA - realistic bull prediction? on: June 27, 2023, 03:43:44 PM
Well, these projects are really unpredictable in terms of development. Even if something they've shown good enough yet there could be changes that won't be favorable to the investors.

IMHO, if you're into investing with these altcoins and you're just hoping that the price will be back to its ATH without doing some research and analysis.

You'll really find yourself into thinking that you've probably made a wrong decision.

I do not need it to go back to all time high to see good returns as my average buy in is only 3p. I just thought it would and it still can I just heard a few saying it won’t lately due to the increased supply.

We are still in a bear market and too early to tell.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: June 27, 2023, 09:22:06 AM
Bitcoin is the king of crypto so when it's compared to XRP I don't think we need to doubt it anymore,
We can't stop people from comparing Bitcoin to XRP and any other cryptocurrencies, we do get that a lot.

Regarding investing in XRP, I think that with the current conditions it is certainly too risky,
we have to see more and hope that XRP can win against the SEC.
Didn't they win already the case? I thought that they've won already the case and that's why a lot of XRP supporters have came out to suggest this again to the others as it might cause a pump soon. But still, I wouldn't have it as an asset.

They have not won yet but they are expected to and some say it will be announced in weeks others say months.

They will likely win which is why I am betting on them and hopefully it sees a good pump - I am then planning on putting most of the profits in Bitcoin.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / GALA - realistic bull prediction? on: June 27, 2023, 08:46:10 AM
Hi all,

I have been in Gala for a while now but have recently been reading they have added a lot to their supply which will now limit how well they can do next bull run.

Their all time high is £0.56 which they reached in November 2021 and I started investing with the expectation they would at least get back to this price but I have read a few times now that it will struggle to reach that price again.

I am fairly new so don't fully understand it all if someone could explain?
