301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: July 11, 2018, 10:47:46 AM
I have a suggestion for Iconomi.

Iconomi can increase the number of Lisk they own by voting for delegates on lisk, which will give some forged Lisk in return.

According to my calculations, it can amount to burning of 124K more ICN /Month. Which is a very good amount.

This thread is abandoned apparently, try to submit the suggestion to Reddit.

It's also possible for them to claim hardforks If they didn't already and participate in airdrops like Byteball etc.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is 10% a week posible on: July 10, 2018, 02:50:59 PM
You won't go wrong with BTC and ETH. If you start investing in random coins for the sake of making small profit, you'll eventually lose money instead of winning. My suggestion is to keep accumulating both btc and eth and add Tezos. It's new, It's currently in Beta and the potentials are huge. Don't take my word for it though, go and read the whitepaper.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀 Adbank 🤖: The New World Currency of Online Advertising on: July 10, 2018, 08:48:14 AM
Honestly, It's getting ridiculous here. Who I'm supposed to contact to be able to access the Telegram channel again? I wasn't active as I said before so being banned make no sense.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: July 10, 2018, 08:10:38 AM
Don't dream, lol.

He's not If you ask me. Tezos could easily surpass Ethereum and most of the altcoins If they ever manage to deliver what's on the whitepaper. It's still in its early stages though so this will take some time.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Walleting.Services] AUTOMATIC Bitcoin Fork Claiming: BTG BCD SBTC BCX BTCP BIFI on: July 09, 2018, 12:37:41 PM
I have a suggestion If you could take in consideration.

I was looking for a service that could simply tell me the coins that I have and how much are they worth, and I came across this one: http://www.findmycoins.ninja/

If you could manage to do the thing where there is no need to type addresses, but only the seed, that would be awesome. That way, the user would know how much does he have and extract whatever he wants based on that.
306  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Submarine Swaps vs Atomic swaps? on: July 09, 2018, 08:10:52 AM
Submarine swaps are more of an on-ramp to the Lightning Network. It allows someone to receive a payment on the Lightning Network without the payer using the Lightning Network. I believe it also works in the opposite direction too, i.e. the payer is using the Lightning Network but has to pay someone that doesn't use the Lightning Network.

Interesting. Compared to LN and atomic swaps, is it going to take more time to be live? I've seen a video about it on /r/Bitcoin a couple of weeks ago and the only repository I found is this one: https://github.com/submarineswaps/swaps-service so It's hard to tell how active the development is.
307  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Submarine Swaps vs Atomic swaps? on: July 08, 2018, 05:06:42 PM
My current understanding is that they are different, atomic swaps are for off chain transactions while submarine are for the on chain transactions. Is that anywhere accurate?

If my above statement is indeed true then how come Submarine uses LN even the lightning network is actually off-chain? I'm a bit lost at this point.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exhausting Scammers! on: July 08, 2018, 04:42:53 PM
If you are referring to the services being a scam then, try to find a bounty running by TokenMarket, BountyPortal or reputable bounty managers on the forums but If you're speaking about the members impersonating other members then there isn't much that can be done here. If the manager is vigilant, that shouldn't affect the original participant in anyway.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will Ethereum collapse? on: July 08, 2018, 09:32:22 AM
A price collapse? I doubt that's going to happen, at least not because of the blockchain size.

Words like "decentralization" are sadly fading from the crypto scene (except in bitcoin), people are here only for the profit and they do not care about big corporations being the only ones running nodes.

In the other hand, ethereum might switch to Proof of stake in the future so that could force people to run nodes.
310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are signatures on BTT prejudicial to users for airdrops/bounties ? on: July 05, 2018, 12:07:29 PM
I've never heard of such a thing personally. As long as you're following the forum and the signature campaign rules, you should be fine. There are lot of threads, a manager can't keep up If such a rule is applied.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should buy and hold NEO? on: July 05, 2018, 10:35:14 AM
I can tell you this, at this point, you can never go wrong with ethereum or bitcoin for long term. For anything else, do what you think is right. It's not a wise decision to take financial advises from here, those who invested in NEO will recommend to invest and those who didn't will say that you shouldn't. So, it's better to do your own research and act based on that.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TETHER a SCAM? on: July 05, 2018, 09:10:17 AM
I can't tell you their (Bitfinex) intentions when they first created Tether but I don't think it takes a genius to understand that things will go wrong, there is no way that the token value will remain unchanged at 1 USD. All it takes is an issue with the bank where they are storing the money and It's done.

Is it a convenient way to trade your coins instead of fiat that could take days? It definitely is, no one could deny that but If you're keeping them for long term storage? not suggested.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to evaluate an ICO correctly? on: July 03, 2018, 06:33:23 PM
As dumb as this may sound for some people, I suggest following the technology instead of the money.

You could check the team behind the project, read the whitepaper, do some digging etc. and then link the dots but even then, you could go wrong. Instead, do all that + find a project that interests you and that you believe in. Stay away from the hype and the scores you'll see online, most of them are sponsored.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos beta-net, tokens release + exchange on: July 03, 2018, 09:50:07 AM
Zero credibility. I participated in the ICO and I don't remember anything regarding KYC, forcing it to users without prior notice is just dumb. Do you know how severe is the verification?
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcurrency do you think has potential? on: June 30, 2018, 02:26:26 PM
It's easy, the ones that has potentials are the ones that have a unique purpose.

If we exclude omni and ERC20 tokens and forked coins, we're left with few cryptocurrencies that are worth using: BTC, ETH, EOS, Bancor, IOTA, MaidSafe (If they manage to deliver) and Monero.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid ICO - CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR EVERYONE | MAIN SALE 9 FEB 2018 on: June 30, 2018, 02:14:35 PM
This "developers" looks like a joke. They said that they want not pay money for listing to top exchanges, because this is expansive, but they promised top 5 exchange before ICO. And they raised 50 mln+ euro.  Shocked

The 5 exchanges they keep talking about are Hitbtc, Bancor, IDEX, Tidex and one more not disclosed yet I believe. Most of these exchanges are not that known so none of them will require high amount for listing so their excuse is not valid.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: June 30, 2018, 01:33:53 PM
The posts here just shows how people are going to continue and invest recklessly regardless of the red flags.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Trade.io spam? on: June 29, 2018, 08:02:51 PM
What's going on with Trade.io? It seems like there are members, newbies mostly who keep spamming about trade.io all over the place.

I believe trade.io is a legitimate project and they raised enough money during the ICO so I don't see why would they use bots to push their project and If it's not them, I don't see what's in it for anyone to do this. am I missing something?
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid ICO - CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR EVERYONE | MAIN SALE 9 FEB 2018 on: June 29, 2018, 09:20:35 AM
Prepare for todays AMA. Token will be listed after the beta launch. I predict that todays AMA result will be. "Our beta will launch SOON". So let's give the beta a few months and after that another few months for the listing. I will participate in the AMA today just to confirm my theory. Will be probably my last AMA since the last 4 I participated were totally useless with excuses only.

Any source for your information? I didn't see any announcements regarding listing after the beta launch. I saw someone from the team saying that 4 exchanges are confirmed but nothing else and we need 5 anyway.
320  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bounty Hunting (Noob Question) on: June 28, 2018, 03:52:57 PM
What's your question exactly? Just head to the bounties section and start looking for bounties that accept Youtubers as not all of them do.
