Great! Let's see this guy come to justice and pay back all he owes to syscoin and others!

Damn, you guys are really awesome! So many times people in crypto get taken advantage of. It's good to see somebody being held accountable for their actions.

Better withdraw your funds from Cryptsy, we don't want another 'moolah' incident happening... tsk...
@devs By the way, any update on syscoin roadmap?
I took almost all my funds out a few hours ago. Better safe than sorry.

SysCoin's price is rocking, but we knew it would do that. It's the features in the tech that are getting me excited. Once more people find out about the features, price will rise naturally, which will get more people looking into the coin, etc. Just wait, the next couple months are going to be quite a ride.
Hit the nail on the head. We're focusing on building out more demo-able use cases of Syscoin's tech while we hash out this legal situation and on that front things are still moving along quickly (legal). There are some big things coming just in terms of "Did you know Syscoin could do that?". Price is looking healthier today too- I rarely look at it but when I saw it in the 100s yesterday I knew it was a time to buy Some user friendly YouTube videos would be nice to in detail explain to the non techy person how exactly to use all the features in the wallet. I understand all this coin has to offer but as someone who didn't grow up around computers and coding and who isn't familar with the terminology a video library of sorts would be nice since this is such a new technology. Maybe just a release of one video per week walking users through a different feature as to not get overwhelming. Thanks Perhaps someone could post a list of the features and then people may be more inclined to make videos? A lot of newer people may not know all the groundbreaking things this coin can do, but could make a great video.

As far as I remember slex handed out to SysCoin team all SYS he had, not sure how many but pretty huge amount.
If memory serves me correctly the syscoin dev team got 40 million syscoin from moolah but they are still owed either 500 or 750 btc.

Just keep doing what your doing. We support you 100%!! Im pretty sure whoever sold me almost 2 million SYS at 93 sats is gonna regret it!!!! Wow, you will be very happy with that stash in a few months. Nice to know a sys millionaire

You can install the node syscoin library either from github (github.com/syscoin/node-syscoin) or via npm install syscoin
Brilliant, I have a project for tonight now ☺

This is what you are asking for: https://github.com/JohnDorien1/SysCoin-OfferPriceUpdateYou can define a USD value and set this script up as cron, it will update the SYS price accordingly. Note it's not having any error handling yet, so if one of the 4 configured exchanges dies it may be faulty. Consider the tool to be in beta stage! As for the PGP Keys, I noticed on Linux commandline this is some trouble from time to time with the line breaks, but in the GUI wallet console it's handled correctly. That's great. I hate how node nests those callbacks, perhaps async could be used to clean up code when adding in some error handling. Regardless, great start. Is the syscoin node library available for download somewhere? I just got into syscoin and the idea of a marketplace inside the block chain is quite intriguing. I may have to set up a mock store just for grins.

I can't disclose anything more but the fact we acted as soon as we did may have not only saved our BTC, but it may have saved Mintpal's BTC as well.
Wow. That is the best news I could hope to hear regarding this moolah debacle. I don't know if people understand the sheer importance of this statement! I will resume buying, albeit at a faster pace. Good work getting the legal team involved and not being greedy about the dev funds. There is a little thing called karma and I think it will look favorably on your actions this day.

Hi all, $SYS lead developer here. As Dan has said, this has not been an easy time for any of us. The Moolah debacle has cost us dearly - both in terms of negative association as well as in basic financial terms - I dedicated myself 100% to syscoin some time back because our ICO gave us the means to do that, and not receiving that funding now is putting me and my family in direct financial jeopardy.
Nonetheless, I remain as committed to Syscoin as ever, because I know that the technology within Syscoin is stronger than ever and NOW is the time to push harder than we ever have before. This team has more skills and potential than most, and I'll be damned if I see that get destroyed because of this situation.
Just my $0.02..
Coderboo, thanks for all your hard work. I have faith that you all will do a great job launching these coming services well.

Taking a loss now is much better than taking a bigger loss later.
That's true, but you don't know that is the trajectory of this coin. I can conjecture as well; taking a loss now is worse than taking profit later.

When people talk about the facts you just call them trolls? hahaha you will be very successful.
I've seen your type again and again, they always show up in these threads to try to convince people to sell. I'm sure you'll respond telling me the same stuff you've been spouting off. Someone says something good about the coin? You argue it regardless. That's fine, you're entitled to your opinion. This coin won't make you rich in a few days, or even a week, but it will likely increase in value once the shock of the morale hit has worn off and people start seeing the plans that the Syscoin team will lay out.

Glad to know that the trolls are out. You know that the reason trolls come out is because they are trying to scare you into selling low. Clearly the dev team isn't stopping. You must realize that no matter what has happened in the last few days, there is no way that the team can make a huge wallet update or features just materialize into being. There is skill and motivation behind this coin, but we can't expect to see it in a couple days. I continue to accumulate and I don't think that it will be in vain. I have seen it time and time again where the doomsayers are out and about and I put the wallet away. In a few weeks/month I look at it again and it has doubled, tripled, or 10x in value. It's because time is required for any real features to be put forward. I intend to give Syscoin that time. Remember, and There is a lot I cannot say because of legal. And we are open to an investor interested in and securing a large amount of Syscoin to ensure market growth or working with a group of investors to help further leverage Syscoin's blockchain technology enhancements to grow its value. These larger investors could have input and insight into Syscoin feature development and even serve to help network Syscoin with the right people. Just an idea, our team certainly has the skills and with the price so low, its a good time to get into crypto2.0 on the cheap.

~7.5m coins for sale under 200 satoshi.
Dont panic It's 7.5m out of 373m, thats only 2%. Only .29 btc to buy up to 200 on cryptsy. Accumulation phase may be slowing down a bit.

gobble gobble gobble! Keep selling me those SYS, thx!

I'm trying to buy but nobody is selling, lol. I suppose that is a good sign!

Thanks dano. I can definitely see how losing that much of your funds is going to slow things a bit. I was just voicing my opinion that I feel the priorities should also change considering this. There needs to be some real value built here, not a platform/system for incorporating end users in deciding what development to release.
Thanks for that clarification and I totally agree with this sentiment. This is something we'll be discussing on the team call happening in <30min and the blog post tonight will reflect the results of that call and also any changes in course we have planned given all this news. One thing I can't reiterate enough is that we are not_stopping. That is great to hear. I'm glad you guys are so proactive-that says a lot about the team behind this coin. Sure, this is a major setback, losing 60% of the development funding, however as another poster mentioned, that may incense you to work even harder to make your existing SYS worth a huge amount I hope you'll be posting the blog post here so it will capture the attention of many...
