301  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons to HODL! on: October 05, 2014, 06:18:25 PM
Maybe one day I will have a chance to buy 10K coins and get into top 100 Grin Grin

Cheaper coins, wider will adoption go. More people will buy BTC.  Perfect for all.  If bitcoin would be 1 million dollars, then only Bill Gates would be able to afford it. Adoption would totally stop then.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Low Does Bitcoin's Price Need Get to Make People Stop Believing? on: October 05, 2014, 06:11:55 PM
Lower price is, wider can bit coin adopt. If it will go to $1, everyone will buy few of them.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: October 05, 2014, 06:10:27 PM
Jeah we will be all rich soon. Maybe not tomorrow but soon for sure.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin that will one day replaces bitcoin on: October 05, 2014, 06:08:51 PM
I don't have an answer to that but looking at all the other alt coins i would say none have come close

In order to take the No 1 spot, that coin would have to be something that can solve all current btc weaknesses and with new technology. Probably fresh new codes. Only few coins that is not based entirely on btc codes like monero, ripple but i don't think that could change.

Well the possibility is there that someday that there will be one revolutionary coin that will dislogde btc spot

Your views?

There will be many coins in use. Each will fill one niche that bit coin will never full fill. Find such, be early adopter and soon filthy rich.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin craze dying down? on: October 05, 2014, 06:07:09 PM
I think BTC price will drop to 300USD within today  Cry

Maybe not today, but tomorrow for sure.
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is so stupid to sell so many bitcoins in that low prices?? on: October 05, 2014, 06:06:32 PM
I see massive sales in Bitstamp and other exchange and my question is simply. Who is so stupid to sell so many bitcoins in that prices?? I cant understand this.

I am sure those people are hackers. No one would be so stupid to buy at $700 USD and sell at $350. They go tthem for free.
307  Economy / Speculation / Re: who is responsible to this bitcoin price mini crash ? on: October 05, 2014, 06:02:44 PM
All of them together. Claiming on just one is a bit stupid.

I have made the enrollees' list. You will get your payment soon(today)! Smiley I apologize for the inconvenience. Smiley

  ~~MZ~~

Will you post the list so everyone can see that they are enrolled, and also give updates about when pay periods start and end and when to expect payments?

It is always posted whole list. Last pay was 11 days ago so is not really late at all.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: Protectionism on: October 01, 2014, 11:53:52 AM
Is economic protectionism bad policy in general?

Do we gain more by sending jobs to other countries where the labour is cheaper?

Looking back over the past 15 years of globalization, has the US gained from outsourcing or in retrospect would have it been better to try to keep those jobs at home?

You should look back in the past 200 years of globalization. Was there any profit for your country?

You usually fell globalization while embargo's start. Currently is popular Russia embargo. In my country now we have to much apples. Was jsut the case, so EU bought them to be give free to homeless, schools, ...
Next will be other industry.

When you stop globalization BDP lowers.

Globalization is distorted by embargoes, import duties, technological barriers, etc.

Yes it is, and when they happen you actually fell how would be without Globalization.

312  Economy / Economics / Re: America is the debt slave of China and Japan on: September 27, 2014, 12:03:46 PM
http://www.bea.gov/newsreleases/international/intinv/intinvnewsrelease.htm
"The U.S. net international investment position at the end of the second quarter of 2014 was -$5,445.1 billion (preliminary) as the value of U.S. liabilities exceeded the value of U.S. assets (chart 1, table 1)."

America owes the world 5.4 trillion USD and its only getting worse

http://www.tradingeconomics.com/united-states/balance-of-trade
"The United States recorded a trade deficit of 40546 USD Million in July of 2014."

every month America needs someone to loan it another 40 billion USD or it can't pay for its imports.

most of these loans come from China and Japan
http://www.ibtimes.com/top-10-foreign-holders-us-debt-china-japan-still-lead-1511752

this looks like a sad ending for the land of the formerly free, how long before China decides enough is enough and stops loaning the money.

That is way of life. Borrow more to pay of old debts.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Paypal accepting Bitcoin a good thing? on: September 27, 2014, 12:02:10 PM
It helps with the mainstreaming of btc so it is good
Obviously, the dream is that one day cryptos will replace PP, we will see about that

That is good anwser
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Virgin Coins / 50 BTC block rewards on: September 27, 2014, 12:00:23 PM
Sadly now barely $20K  Cry

Get them while they are cheap...  Smiley
I think this would be incredibly risky. The seller of the directly mined bitcoin could easily sell the private keys twice (or more) or they could sign and broadcast a TX out of the address at a later time, and there would be nothing the buyer could do about it because of how difficult it is to determine where a TX came from.

A possible alternative would be to sell bitcoin whose inputs are from the block subsidies for a presidium (you would actually send the bitcoin to an address that the buyer controls). My concern about doing this however is that it would put the fungibility of bitcoin into question.

That is a good businesses to sell one thing twice.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will we ever see BTC on a TV add?? on: September 27, 2014, 11:52:40 AM
I was thinking.. I know TV adds are expensive but I can see it now. If the word got out to the masses, those that havnt heard of bitcoin or those that think its gone after the crash.

Is that even possible? theres tons of startups spending $ on BTC technology, surly one of them could afford a 60 second slot or something..

the only way we will ever see $10k is mass involvement, BTC must be a household name. The most effective way for that to happen has always been TV.

I may be way off base but gimme your thoughts either way.

Not as add of bitcoin itself. But add of economy building around bitcoin.

About 2 week sago. my mother asked me about bitcoin. i was so surprised. But she saw on TV, was in evening news, of one BTC conference, that was hosted by national telecommunication distributer, and of opening of 4th ATM in out capital. Those are better commercials that those classical.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you found a servie that you could get "extra" bitcoins from? on: September 27, 2014, 11:49:39 AM
It happened to me something alike: last week I was playing around in one of the dice BTC sites, and then there was this bug that out of nothing multiplied my balance to way more than 1 BTC (when, at first, I had only the free faucet initial credit).

I informed the admins and they fixed it instantly. They gave me a reward of about 10% of the bug credit. (moments after, I lost the reward gambling there  Cry)

Well, i hope you learned the lesson from this.

318  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Australian Govt. form asks if I own any Bitcoin of Cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2014, 11:45:57 AM
I recently had a brain tumor removed and I had my right side Balance hearing mechanics removed, I am applying for disability until i recover.

Filling out the form I came across the question "Do you own any bitcoin or cryptocurrency"

Comments?

That si goo for them. Governments that will realize it exist and adopt it fast and tax economy around BTC will profit most. Altho BTC will be decentralized when finished, there will still be centers of education of Bitcoin. Countries like Australia, can be on right track to become one.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is no hedge against inflation - i unadopted it. on: September 27, 2014, 11:43:32 AM
Bitcoin would need inflation. But sadly is placed in it will never have it. What OP wanted to say was that bitcoin is not stable yet.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: pump and dump or? on: September 27, 2014, 11:37:12 AM
Doesn't feeel like a pump and dump to be honest. Feels more like the culmination (for now) of a phase where btc returns as an asset class werent't cutting it vis-a-vis alternatives
BTC has underperformed the USD this year..!

Yes what he explains is a day trading altho trades dont really happen in same day. You can get rich with it, or easily poor.
