The idea is to exploit much more of the synergy between consumers and producers, is that correct? But the problem is that human beings by nature are very egoistic. You talk about a company pledging some of its earnings in hopes to get some valuable feedback and then those people will even become some type of shareholder? Maybe it works but often times human beings are less interested in synergies (because they can't see them) and more interested in their own well-being.
Hello ninjaskip, thank you for the response. For starters we are not looking to exploit. Creating a relationship between startups and consumers is mutually beneficial for both parties. Startups will have their products validated through comments which will enhance their product and allow them to grow, they will build a network with people who are interested in their ideology / startup and create a buzz instead of just going for advertisements on google. Supporters will earn the YUPIE for their work, be able to connect with interesting projects and build a professional portfolio and create an affinity with a project. Even if someone is only interested in their own well-being they have benefits. Ripple is another Crypto which is near the same price as NEM, and has more than 4x circulating supply, yet their volume is 10x higher than NEM. Ripple has more exposure in the mainstream press and has big names behind it, hence more confidence from big investors.
There's always been something abnormal about the freakily low volume. I don't know what the cause is but plenty of shite that's multiple factors smaller is regularly 10x or more even during quiet periods. Mining obviously accounts for a lot of that, but even non mineable stuff outranks it. The near constant lack of volume is a huge turn off to traders. You can only make proper moves when it has its one annual epic pump and dump. As far as I know, the volume is not low, it is just unknown, because the exchange Zaif doesn't publish their volumes. So at the end nobody knows how high the volume of NEM is except Zaif, but this is of course not a good advertisement for NEM! The question is, why Zaif do not publish their trading volume!?! Why does Zaif not publish anything? Are they simply not listed at CMC or what's the point? Would be good to see all data for XEM. It is much more attractive to investors then. |

I think the drop may come from coinomat's crypto index. Faircoin is not list anymore in the index. That would explain the dump tho.
The drop is coming mainly from short term traders, seeing that there was no profit to be made in a short term they moved on to another coin. I have been following Vert coin since the start, a few weeks ago it was on 100k market cap, just now is up on 6million market cap. Is a coin good for nothing, but due to the massive and slow pump then people are dumping fairs to try and make a profit on that for example. This is good news for us, the ones that believe in Faircoin on a long term. |

Tried few purchase to different address but i didnt receive any coin to any address.
Its jsut me or happening to all?

Sounds like you bought them from https://getfaircoin.net/In that case don't worry as it takes 2/3 days for the coins to arrive. Bank transfers are cleared in a much slower way than cryptocurrencies. |

There's actually no way to stop it and especially so with open network peer to peer decentralised cryptocurrencies. It's just matter of who and when starts it. Although it may take a good while yet. Bitcoin itself has only had one public leveraged margins trading site Bitfinex up to now. Although that only offers bitcoin and litecoin leveraged margin trading. And now Poleniex has followed and open up leveraged market trading for four cryptocurrencies. As long term market cap's and trading volumes increase more altcoins will inevitably get leveraged margin trading markets.

In fact exist a way: dont use it! If someone creates speculative products with faircoin, and this dont likes in general to the faircoin community, what we could do is dont use it, dont promote it and dont support it...
