as i have alot of machines to manage and im getting ready to move the remainder of my hash power from f2pool and nicehash, to kano , i was wondering if there was any downside of running all the machines to the pool via stratum proxy found here
https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy
( ive used it before with other pools with decent results , but its been a long time since i have used it )

or am i better off leaving each machine as in individual worker

thanks guys i was able to login from my dc , still cant from home though"Too many failures, come back later" is what it keeps saying.

i did however move 25th roughly to the pool , so far so good , i will probably move another 45th sometime today
That message means exactly what it says Smiley
You'll have to PM me your IP if you want me to check what repeated error you are getting - usually getting your password wrong too many times.
Of course I won't change it if that is the case ... but if there's some other cause I'll see why.
CKDB keeps track of all that info ...

i tried the pool a long time ago and kept getting disconnected alot , thinking about giving the pool another shot after tonight , its not much but ill prolly move 70th over

Come on over! Just find the node closest to your local for best results. The nodes are now scattered all over the world.
I have a feeling these last days leading up to the halving will be very lucky for us Kanoeans.  Wink

having trouble registering , even had one of my friends try to register an account niether of us can log in
no hotmail emails and i don't remember the other one work

gmail?
yes gmail works you can also mine to your wallet but no detail stats

hmm ok ill try again when i head over to my dc in a lil while , id like to register for the more detailed stats

Where can I order replacement boards? Did not see anything on Bitmain site.

From me, if the price is right.

i meant to ask you do u want/neet the metal sleds ? theese r much easier to ship without them as they dont fit in a flat rate box with the metal sleds

I would very much prefer the metal sleds as I would have no other way of holding the miners upright or together. Would it be easier to ship them separately or would that just cost more money?

it would cost extra without the sleds i can ship 2 monarchs for 16$ not sure how much extra the sleds would cost to ship , the dang sleds are just a lil to big to fit in a flat rate box

what i did with mine is stack them with the standoffs that they would normally bolt to the sleds with , the radiators will stand on there own , though if u want to stack multiple units ontop of each other it does help to ziptie one radator to the other so the vibration from the fans doesnt make one fall off the stack

thanks but this is a pretty old rig prolly going to upgrade in 6 months so was hoping to find something used and a bit cheaper

from when i first put it together , and yes i got rid of the cheap red sata cable and it now sports 2x r9 280x's

current mobo just sucks at crossfire

314  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [US] BFL Monarch Miners on: June 17, 2016, 01:02:32 AM
I am looking to buy some Monarch miners in good working condition.
I am NOT looking for bulk sales.

Comment if you have any general questions.
Specific questions or potential sellers can feel free to PM me and we can go from there.

I am hoping to buy each for .10 - .11BTC depending on shipping and whatnot.

(I have some money sitting on Ebay for some reason and wouldn't mind if we do something through that.)

how many r u looking for i have 8 or 9 working units , and one good board without a cooler the cooler leaked so i removed it and stuck the board off to the side as a spare

were are u located

06073 is my zip. I am only looking for 1 or 2 at the moment. This may change but for right now only a few.

let me see if i can fit them in a flat rate box so i can see how much shipping would be and ill get back to ya in the morning

317  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: IBM 4KW PSU (Dual DPS-2000BB) Breakout Boards and Packages!!! on: June 11, 2016, 07:23:43 AM
sideplates have been finalized, just waiting for production and shipping at this time.  I'll have the details of getting the initial batch out to pre-existing 4K customers in the coming week or so.

Nice work! do you sell only the adapter or you have the 2000W psu to?

u can buy them form finsky as a ready to go package , i.e 2x psus , 1x breakout board , power cables , and pci-e cables all in one shot
318  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: IBM 4KW PSU (Dual DPS-2000BB) Breakout Boards and Packages!!! on: June 09, 2016, 02:37:51 AM
Have you given up on the sideplates?  I see your last post on Mar 18 hoping for an update soon from your machinist.

i am a machinist myself so maybe me and finsky can get together and make something happen with the sideplates

i used zipties on mine and they hold the fans on perfectly , it is a lil tricky as u have to get the zipties just right if u want the psu to sit perfectly flat so u can stack them though

im at .04 in the US, and im not in washington either , 150 miles south of me i can get power for 1.9 to 2.2 cents kwh
i would move the 150 miles south , but the moving and setup cost would offset anything i save from the cheaper power 4 cents aint bad anyways so

 Where?

utah

were im at residential is about .08 , commercial is .10 and agricultural is .04
so location is key

150 miles south commercial is 1.9-2.2 cents depending on how much power u use

the down side is the ambient temps are 90-120* but evaporitive cooling works exceptionally well here
