It's too quiet. Not even the guy who posts every time an invalid/orphaned block gets us. I hope he's ok.

2 invalid blocks in one day....

er 22506 and 22510 i think they are right...i gather they are gonna stay invalid (damn it)

Searing

This is truly the time when we will see what kind of company they will be. When stuff goes a bit sideways how do they react? I hope they do the right thing by you guys. We need solid, honest companies in this industry.

yes! Just like bitmain

btw I love the dawson s10 I have, except for the noise

I reopened my account to use as a backup, enabled 2FA by scanning the QR code.

But it seems no matter how many times I log out an back in I'm not being asked for a code.

*scratches head*

If I understand your post correctly,

2FA is for changing the payout address, if set up, not for logging in.
Lol, either way 2FA is better served against login IMHO.

what can someone do to your login account if they can't change the payout address?
use their miners on your account?  don't seem too bad to me.

You guys realize that we have had 4 straight months of exceptionally good luck in this pool, so don't say even out cuz that would mean to get bad luck for months.

I submitted 18 shares to slush's pool and I still have 0 BTC. Why?

At current network difficulty, you will have earned 1.038283e-09 btc. However, as noted by the poster above, one bitcoin is only divisible up to 1e-08. In order to earn 1e-08 btc, right now you'll need to submit 174 difficulty 1 shares. This amount will increase as the network difficulty increases.

way to kick him while he's down

hating?  I hope you were not referring to my only post on your thread. if you didn't read it correctly, it was a thought.
315  Economy / Lending / Re: Jenna's Microloans [No Collateral] =) on: July 20, 2014, 09:24:56 PM
my thought is that anyone who needs a loan of 10bux or less may not have the ability to pay it back, considering how fast it will grow at 5%

and it makes no difference if you are a girl or not

can you lend me 0.01538461 BTC to buy some hash on silk road?
316  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: July 19, 2014, 09:06:05 PM
good job, I was hoping for the (beer-proof) black one though
317  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: July 18, 2014, 05:59:57 AM
So the difficulty decreases sometimes?  I was under the impression that it only went up-and-up-and-up.
How is the difficulty set?  Is it set by the number of leading '0's required for a block solution?  Who sets the difficulty? Is it the nodes?

A) The difficulty can decrease if the average block time over the most recent 2016 blocks is >10 min

B) Difficulty is set via mathematical forumal dependent on the time taken to solve the most recent 2016 blocks.

C) The difficulty determines the number of leading zeros required for a valid block solution.

D) The bitcoin protocol sets the difficulty itself.

10 hours later for a good response. I wonder if he already googled it and figured it out on his own.

320  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: July 10, 2014, 06:14:48 AM
from now on, I'm going to put my Trezor in every drink I have.

Please don't mention that during RMA process ;-). Seriously, I'm happy that TREZOR survives accident like this, but I would not do that on daily basis :-D.

ok, not every drink, maybe just last drink after it actually dies, if that ever happens.
