301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 18, 2014, 12:08:43 PM
1) If an alleged troll is very good at what he is doing, probably he isn't a troll, he only has a different opinion and has the right to voice it. And, actually, he can be right (or not, this isn't my point).

2) Is really necessary to start insulting other members with different opinions or using ad hominem arguments? Lets play the ball, not the player. If someone is indeed a troll, just ignore him. Don't feed him by giving him attention.

3) All trolls (or anyone) are eluded if they think they really can influence the price. Since it's Huobi that is determining the price that all western and chinese exchanges follow, the price now is being decided basically by some hundred chinese large bitcoin owners, most of them can't read english or don't care for what we write here.

You get google's captcha if you use Tor or proxies, because google starts suspecting all the traffic and assumes you are a bot.
If you don't know what are Tor or proxies, just search them. Can be really useful.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chicken or Egg problem on: May 18, 2014, 03:05:57 AM
I think it was the egg, since genetic mutations occur from one generation to the other.
So, the being that posted the first genuine chicken egg wasn't yet a full chicken. That egg had a genetic mutation that made it the first chicken egg.
Of course, this is all theory, since it would very hard to identify what exactly differentiate a chicken from something very similar but still different.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who are these "big investors" and what are they waiting for? on: May 18, 2014, 02:56:59 AM
Those twins already have a huge bag, their money isn't new, unless they are buying more.
The question is if their bitcoin ETF is approved and starts to be traded in order for more money to come in. But that approval has being delayed for months.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 18, 2014, 02:47:22 AM
I'm also bearish, pessimist on china and surprised by this calm.
The volume continues to drop on Huobi and that was to be expected, since they have no deposits by wire transfer or third party systems, the leverage ended on the 10th May and it seems they already have the flat fee active for certain levels of trade (the translation is obscure: http://www.huobi.com/news/index.php?a=show_notice&id=356), but has dropped also on western exchanges (http://www.bitcoinity.org/markets/list?currency=ALL&span=24h).
Movement might be returning soon and I'm expecting it to be down, even if we can still go up to 2872, an important horizontal resistance.
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: thinking about buying 5k in bitcoin on: May 18, 2014, 02:12:31 AM
It would be safer to wait for a breach of the 3457 (about 550 usds) on Huobi or, at least, for a breach of the 2872 (460). Those are previous tops that now are resistances to increases of the price.

The op has to just follow the sentence in his signature, "Leave fear for love".
Just love Google and all fear will go away. In the middle time, you can always use https://startpage.com/
308  Other / Off-topic / Re: Colonizing Mars on: May 18, 2014, 12:57:02 AM
For people that grown up reading tales of science fiction, this reality is very disappointing.
I guess no author of the sixties would imagine how little we would accomplish after 1969 in space exploration. Any trip to mars currently is still just a dream.
Colonization? Probably, none of us will see it. Maybe our sons or grandsons.

A cigarette is just a way to take nicotine.
If you can't stop smoking, just take your nicotine in a safer way.
310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's wrong with eating meat? on: May 18, 2014, 12:14:38 AM
Beside the question of animals rights:

1) For thousand of years, we never had so much meat as we have now. Several studies are pointing out that eating too much meat or animal protein can be one of the sources of cancer. Our body isn't used to so much meat.

2) On the other hand, if you stop eating it, you can get serious problems for lack of vitamin B, if you don't take supplements or consume other sources of it.

All of that, plus G+, where google finds out the real name, friends, profession, etc., from all of its members.
312  Other / Off-topic / Re: Google is evil on: May 17, 2014, 10:28:30 PM
I also use https://startpage.com, but even if they say they are powered by google, their results are more limited than the ones given by google.
Have no doubt that google can seriously undermine your privacy. Not only because they track your searches, but also because of gmail, google analytics and several of its other applications.
313  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much you have BTC??? on: May 17, 2014, 10:19:43 PM
I think, right now, since I sold some btcs I didn't have to buy them again (short), actually I'm negative on bitcoins.
314  Other / Off-topic / Re: When will the USA go to WAR? on: May 17, 2014, 10:12:23 PM
Well, for all matters, the USA is already in a right hand war in Afghanistan and still has his left hand (or foot) on Iraq.
On war against a major nuclear power, forget about it. It's not guaranty, but MAD (mutual assured destruction) will provide for peace, as it has done in the past.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Single Bitcoin will Worth $100K - Do You Believe it? on: May 17, 2014, 09:59:56 PM
It depends how the system is implemented, but in many cases the need of two signatures will increase the risk of coins being lost. Since there are two keys, there is twice the risk that one will be lost.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Beginner Tips on Investing in Bitcoin? on: May 17, 2014, 09:50:52 PM
Those rules are not for day trading, the trend you have to identify is a median-term one, of at least some months. Some actives have trends of 1 or 2 years.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: May 17, 2014, 09:49:02 PM
1) Come on, just read 5m http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deflation#Effects

2) Decreasing taxes means most social functions of the State would go bankrupt. People who need welfare to survive would end bad. Anyway, many bitcoiners wouldn't pay anything, not even lower taxes.

3) Yes, we don't need the State to have any economic policy, we just let things follow their natural course, like in 1929 and end up with 25% unemployment. In Europe, since 2009, they did little and have 11%. Greece and Spain have about 25%.

4) It would all depend on how fast things would go, taking in account less informed people who would be the ones ending with all the fiat on their banking accounts. Clearly, someone would end up with them.

5) There are already so-called banks offering interests for bitcoins, to lend them again, so FRB.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Beginner Tips on Investing in Bitcoin? on: May 17, 2014, 08:12:04 PM
Why use abstract and vague rules of trading, they are so easy.

1) Identify the main trend, if it's a bearish or bullish one.

2) Trade accordingly, avoiding to trade against it. The trend is your friend.

3) Don't think the price is already very low and that it's time to buy. Prices can always go even lower.

4) Be careful guessing tops and bottoms. If you were wrong, jump out and assume the loss, instead of converting your move on a long-term one. If you insist in keeping them, avoid buying more to lower the median price, that is a recipe for disaster.

5) I know it goes against all the rules you learned on life (it's a violation of the rule of demand, that says that demand lowers when the price goes up), but don't think the price is too high to buy, unless it's clearly temporarily overbought or it was a fake breach of  a resistance. If it's on a bullish trend, the probability that it will keep going up is higher than the opposite. So, many times, buying higher has more sense than buying lower. Ex. I have little doubt that if bitcoin breaches clearly the 1156 top on bitstamp it will keep going up.

6) The rule is not to buy low and sell high. Buying an active on a bearish trend, going lower and lower, is a disaster. If the active is in a bulish trend, the rule can even be buy high and sell higher.

The hard thing isn't to identify the rules, but to follow them!

319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go on: May 17, 2014, 07:40:46 PM
My first reaction to the Op comments was that he somehow mixed a linear and a logarithmic chart in order to drawn the lines. But I already verified he didn't, so the chart is legitimate.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go on: May 17, 2014, 07:07:00 PM
That chart is a Logarithmic one, while most traders use linear Charts. I'm not saying  Logarithmic charters are not legitimate, just saying that most traders don't care for them.

Anyway, under its own terms, a breach of the 440 would leave bitcoin on a very fragil situation.

Remember also that to breach again the 1156 (bitstamp), it would be necessary all the money that went sideways since that value. And to go above, it would be necessary a massive influx of money: and, this time, it couldn't be chinese.
