Info@Anonibet - [Re: statement in T&C that withdrawing without 1x play through will be charged 5%]

"Dear Gogo ppp,

Thank you for your comment. As I have already explained, we do not want to become a safe box. We have never applied this rule so far. I do not understand why this disturbs you..."

Michael - Since you said you don't understand...

I leave a few coins in various books that I feel comfortable with, in case I find a bet I would like to make in the future and can save time this way.

I would feel comfortable doing this with Anonibet, except I don't want to be charged 5% if I decide to withdraw (a few coins). Part of the positives of bitcoins is they can be moved for a few pennies, not 5%.

So it makes me uncomfortable for that reason. Yours is the only book where I see that charge.
If I leave 4 coins valued at ~$500 usd each it will cost me $100 if you change your mind/someone other than you applies the charge, etc.

You say the charge has never been applied.
But then, as I asked, why not remove the language, and give individual warnings that you will apply the 5% charge in the future to people you feel are using Anonibet as a safe box.

So this is why it disturbs me and why I mentioned it for a 2nd time.

OK I see your point now. You might be right, we shall remove it from our T&C.

We have set this rule in order to prevent large amounts of BTC kept in Anonibet. Bitcoin is very attractive for hackers and we do not want to attract "bad guys" thinking we keep large amounts of BTC. This was the only purpose really. We do not even charge withdraw fees, we pay the network fee at each withdraw so that our customers receive the exact amount they have withdrawn from Anonibet.

Regards,
Michael

The above re: the following in Anonibet's T&C:
"2.02
In order to withdraw funds from your account, you are required to place bets as much as the amount deposited. If you make a withdrawal request without placing bets 5% handling fee shall be deducted from the amount you have requested."

Michael - "OK I see your point now. You might be right, we shall remove it from our T&C."

Peeps Place - "Nice work by both gogo and Anonibet working together. It's good to see a book take our opinions seriously."

Yet I notice it is still there 9 days later. Perhaps you forgot to remove it?

Anonibet - What is happening with the above situation?
Did you decide not to remove the 5% charge for withdrawing without rolling over a deposit one time?

Hi Gogo,

We will remove this %5 from our T&C. I have requested from our IT team to remove it. They will certainly do it this week.

Dear Peepls Place,

I am sorry to misuse your thread, Anonibet has been victim of unnecessary dress down from our competitors here. So I allow myself to post the player special bets which we offer on tonight's Champions League match. I am sure that some of our jealous competitors are not able to offer such player special bets that we offer also on NBA matches time to time.
We believe the way to acquire customers is not to attack the first and oldest Bitcoin bookmaker. They should concentrate on how to develop themselves.

Dear Peepsplace,

I stated on the first post I have posted here on your thread that as Anonibet we do not want to make any comment or post anything. Unless a question was directly asked to us, we do not interfere in your discussions. As we said before, we prefer the thread being used by player for players.

Please do NOT DEFEND OR MENTION ANONIBET in any of your post. If you wish you can delete us from your rating list. We do not want to be part of a discussion with any bookmaker. We have been present since 2011, and this is the best response we can give to anyone.

WOW!  I mean this thread is for discussions on all aspects of bitcoin books. you're bound to be mentioned by players and peeps.  If peeps has played there he has a point of view relevant to discussions here, as we all do who have played on your site.

I don't know what the hell is going on in your joint, but the past week you haven't done much right and your site is quickly falling behind the bitcoin curve.  you may have been the first, but like the iphone, the field has caught up and rapidly surpassed you.  you need to improve both your site and your stance on customer service VERY quickly.

You misunderstand my post. Peeps place is being accused by other bookies of defending Anonibet. Therefor I want to make it clear he does not need to defend Anonibet or praise Anonibet to our competitors. Players can post their experience with Anonibet, positive or negative.

I have to say as my first day trying out new books, cloudbet and anonibet are insanely slow to grade my wagers. It's been hours and both books have my bets pending. I checked the FAQ section and both state within minutes except on exotic crap.

If I ever bet early games and wanted to bet west coast stuff I'd be shit out of luck at this rate.

"How long does it take for the bets to be settled?
We settle all the bets and pay, as soon as we can confirm the outcomes of the events. This usually takes a few minutes for most events. But sometimes in exotic sports or leagues the time to confirm the results might take longer. Anonibet aims to settle all the bets as soon as possible."

Both companies – Anonibet andcloudbet use one and the same outsourced sports betting solution (Bettingpromotion). Therefore, if one company delays the resulting, it will be 100% delayed with the other company too. Betting promotion offers a cheap product (2,5K per month and you are a bookie), which is a limited offer, but it does work. By the way, apart from the above companies this solution is used by a few more bitcoin-bookies. That is why, unfortunately, users have a rather limited choice. Given the above, if I had to choose between Anonibet and Cloudbet, I would prefer Cloudbet – the product is the same, but prices are much better.
I placed bets with all bitcoin-bookies. Due to various reasons I kept only two bookies. Neither Anonibet nor cloudbet are among them.

We do not use Bettingpromotion. Our provider is one of the biggest in Europe.
313  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anonibet void bet on: April 25, 2014, 07:13:28 PM
Anonibet voided my bet on Lyon +1.5, played against PSG last weekend. The bet won, but anonibet voided it on the grounds of home/away teams being reversed. After I pointed out that the game was played on neutral venue, therefore there is no home and away team they stated there was also a mistake in the odds. During our email conversation they quoted the following:

Paris St Germain - Olympique Lyon
Paris Saint Germain 1.40
Draw 4.45
Olympique Lyonnais 7.80

Olympique Lyon - Paris St Germain
Olympique Lyonnais 6.00
Draw 4.00
Aladeen: Paris Saint Germain 1.55

The former being the odds they offered and the latter being the odds they wanted to have offered. I contested that there's no obvious error in the prices offered, they just failed to follow the market (as odds on PSG lengthened as kick off approached). They were unwilling to discuss this matter any further.

My bet was Lyon +1.5, at odds 1.7, which was very much in line with Pinnacle at the time I took it. Bet date: 15 Apr 2014 14:09:42 GMT.

I do not want to disclose what we have talked privately but you have threatened us in your first email. I have responded straight away and told you to go ahead and post whatever you want you want on the forum because we hate being threatened. All bets on this match  ( loosing bets) have been canceled. This is our final say. You know better than anyone else that we are a fair bookmaker. You are a long time player, can you say how many times we have canceled any match?

Dear Anonibet Friends,

Due to our continued work on strengthening security measures of protecting your BTC, we are introducing a new deposit procedure where a different address is used for each deposit. The address will be emailed to you when you request to make a deposit and it has a limited validity period hence you are strongly advised not to make a deposit to a previously used address. You are also advised to note that we will not display any deposit address on the website. You can copy the address we email you to your wallet.

Anonibet will not be responsible for misdirected BTC in the event that the same address has been used twice.

Kind Regards
Anonibet

Why do you have manual withdrawal?? thats not good,  we need to move the btcs fast sometimes and dont have that time.

Anyway i made a withdraw before 22:00 have past more than 2 hours and still "pending"

Dear Johnmatrix,

We process all withdraws within 2 hours. Some delays might occur due to the network and we have no control over that.

We will continue to process all withdraws manually, we will not change that policy for marketing purposes.

Regards,
Michael

Coinbet was able to put a muzzle on players because of their rules. They were able to sneak up on us players because of this. In the future if a book puts in a rule where they can confiscate funds due to negative press, they will be rated "F".

Better late than never.

But you should go beyond this.
Anytime a book in relationship to questionable rules says "Yes, we do have that language in our T&C but we never enforce it", they should be asked to remove it if they never enforce it.

When Jetwin tells you "Yes, we have dozens of rules that allow us to steal player funds. But of course we will never do that", your response should be to tell them they're downgraded until they remove that language.
Instead you upgraded them when they told you that. (I know, you subsequently downgraded them due to time in existence).

Likewise Anonibet Michael - Your website states that all funds deposited should be rolled over one time, or will be charged 5% to withdraw.

When I questioned this, you stated that you never charge the fee, but that it is there because you don't want people using Anonibet as a bank and leaving many btc there that they don't intend to play.

If this is the case, why not remove that language from the website, and when you get someone you feel is parking a lot of btc to store at Anonibet, give the person individually a warning, and threaten him with that next time.
I really can't imagine that this scenario comes up very often.

Having that statement of the 5% fee hurts your business.
It's also a non-standard rule for a btc sportsbook, yet it's hidden in the T&C which most don't read.
It should be in bold letters on the deposit page if you keep the rule. But why would you keep the rule if it's never enforced?

Dear Gogo ppp,

Thank you for your comment. As I have already explained, we do not want to become a safe box. We have never applied this rule so far. I do not understand why this disturbs you. Since 2011, none of our customers has ever complained about not being paid. We have however experienced time to time delays in processing withdraws in our early days, but this was purely technical problems.

In 3 years time we never gave out a BONUS. the only time we did it, it was to apologize for an outage we had for few days. It was not a bonus to attract more customers, it was 0.1 BTC that we gave to all our active customers and with no betting requirement. That means our customers could immediately withdraw that amount without placing a single bet. Peepsplace can testify about that.

I understand your skepticism following bitcoin.cc disappearance but Anonibet is the wrong address to look into.
