301  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: February 13, 2017, 04:52:01 AM
FDIC will protect your money when it comes to money being stolen inside the bank so their is that tangent that I know tons of people on this thread already probably went on. If the bank really did steal your money as you've alleged (which I think is bullshit) you'd probably have an easy ability to get one of the many watchdogs of these banks from the government to reign down on them with fines and have your money back within hours.

As my observations, some of the banks are bankrupt without any valid reason, without making some announcements and they are not trusted. People deposited in a bank in a way that their money is safe there, they think that they are trusted but they actually dont know that they are wrong. Some banks their is like a bubble it disappear and well sorry for your money, it will all gone and never came back. But there are some banks also that are big, famous and trusted one, so choose the best one

I'd love to see some of these observations buddy, I don't think a bank will just go **poof** and run away.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: [Survey Poll] Gold vs. Bitcoin as an Investment on: February 13, 2017, 04:49:20 AM
Would completely rather have gold, I know people on here are going to be a bit biased based on the simple fact that we're on a site about the niche community that bitcoin has but I'd rather be able to fully hold what I own and know that I can secure it and all. The part that it's been used as currency for most of Civilization is an obious plus sign based on the fact that if FIAT currencies die out Gold will probably be the next to take over.
It's Bitcoin any day because comparatively Bitcoin has soared higher in exponential figure since 2016 unlike gold which went up a few times and the fact that Bitcoin halves and creates demand from time to time I will rather feel safe in investing in Bitcoin than gold.

You can't just compare something that's been out for 8 years and something that's been trades for PRETTY MUCH ALL OF CIVILIZATIONS TIME it just doesn't make sense. You're comparing apples to oranges, compare apples to apples buddy.
303  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: good webhosting service? on: February 13, 2017, 04:41:45 AM
If you'd really like a good web-host instead of the shit ones on this forum that accept bitcoin too but are just going to be reselling I'd go with a company like NameCheap who I've used for arounnd 5 years for tons of websites, they're support is nice and they'll easily suit your needs.

Here is a link to NameCheap - https://www.namecheap.com/ and a list of other ones that accept bitcoin too http://www.whoishostingthis.com/compare/bitcoin/ Good luck bud!
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: February 11, 2017, 07:17:33 PM
I'd have to fully agree with you, I'm not a fan at all of all the people on here in this pretty small niche community that go ahead and say these few things, "Bitcoin is going to kill the banks" "Fiat will die when bitcoin rises" "Government will fall if bitcoin does.."

This is all really a bunch of horseshit and I really hope most people on here really don't believe half the shit that they spew on the forum here. It's dumb to even think that a government would ALLOW bitcoin to get to the point of taking over a FIAT currencies place in a country. Governments will adapt if they feel the need to and it would be profitable to them, that's the only way they'll change to the liking of the people on here.
305  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 11, 2017, 03:25:18 PM
Nothing in this world is going to be free, and if someone advertises that something is free YOU'RE going to be the person that people are going to making money off of. Look at faucets, the people that use those end up being targeted for some weird anonymous ads and such. That means that you're being used for the profit of the company and to make the site itself profitable.

Only way to earn bitcoins would be to work for them, join a signature campaign, sell something in services on the forum that people are interested in, faucets really don't make much money on here so your best bet would probably be to attempt to do some sort of service for money on here.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sustainability of cryptocurrencies? on: February 11, 2017, 02:33:53 PM
I doubt that there will be a thorough review on something that is considered not worthy to conduct. I mean don't take it personally but Mining will have less affect on the study of electricity consumption because they are a little part of the community. If scholars will study related to that they might focus of airconditions and refrigerators which majority of the population have.

Yeah, unless some really huge mega corporate company gets into mining no scientists are going to be looking into the energy consumption and let alone what the energy consumption does to affect global warming. Scientists are only going to come and do a job if there is reporting and money to come out of it, and in this case there is going to be nothing to be made to profit if they were to look into the issue.

Companies that manufacture and sell air-conditioners and refrigerators like said above have a lot to profit off of having scientists say that this is "eco-friendly" or some bullshit along those lines.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should governments allow people to pay their taxes in Bitcoin BTC? on: February 10, 2017, 06:01:35 PM
It's not more along the lines of if governments should I would say if governments will, if they really see a reason that bitcoin has such a hold on them not being paid for a good amount of tax funds and that if it will really make a difference in the amount of revenue they have they will adjust. The government will adapt and change if need be, they won't just do it for the greatness of everyone else.

They should, but they only will if it makes a difference to THEM not to you in the least.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: February 09, 2017, 05:07:17 PM
It's a horrible idea on many levels, bribing is unethical in itself and doing it on a currency with a public ledger is not going to be best for bribing in the least. As people already know the best way to go ahead and bribe would have to be cash as their is little evidence that could be found relating to the bribe unless their is camera evidence.

For me its not the best thing if you want to bribe someone. Plus bribing is illegal and criminal act in nature so once you are caught you will be jailed for your crime.

In some countries bribing is actually needed to get things done, sad to say but it's something that MUST occur for your business / personal life to survive. Bribing is accepted and used in these countries which was put forward by the Huffington Post - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/02/bribery-business-countries-most-likely_n_1071452.html This could be an opinion piece but still, it's worth the read.
309  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SELLBITCOIN.COM - Sell Bitcoin Quickly, Easily & Securely on: February 08, 2017, 09:31:55 PM
A hero or someone high on this forum (trusted of course) using this service and saying it works without a scam would probably really help offset the red trust you have. As I wouldn't want to do business with anyone who has that kind of reputation.

Site does seem a bit weird too, I'm feeling a bit of a scam but who knows it could be legit.
310  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Sell and get bitcoins ! on: February 08, 2017, 09:29:59 PM
Not really seeing any information here rather then the nice red trust you have on your profile, seems like you attempting to scam but not having enough information on the vocabulary in English language to be able to do that.

SCAM!
311  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Missing satoshis... on: February 08, 2017, 09:27:03 PM
On here you're probably not going to get much help from them, best is going to try to find a forum account that is from their staff ( if they have one on bcttalk) then try to contact them.

Have you contacted support with your issue yet or have you not done that? That would probably be the option with the most help to it.
312  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: any good payment gateway to suggest? on: February 08, 2017, 09:25:44 PM
Would have to go ahead and suggest something like Authorize.net or Stripe which are both really good all around merchants when it comes to ease of use and fees are pretty nice.

Though Stripe is a bit higher you may want to try someone like FATT MERCHANT which is another pretty good online merchant company but you have to be a reputable company to use them, so think of that before going to them.
313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address: 38HNkYJSPDbNXdxmotJVzjstR7rfG5gDGj on: February 08, 2017, 09:21:25 PM
Can't fully comprehend how if you have the site in your bookmarks and you've used them many times that you were actually able to use one of the bitcoin blender phishing / scam sites in order to lose.

Were you using the fake site all along or did you just mess up this time? Sad story though.
314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: February 08, 2017, 09:19:04 PM
WW3 is not going to occur, I don't care how many lefties and liberals will say that Donald Trump is going to declare this on some country that he allegedly hates. It's just a bunch of shit by the news organizations into getting people to ACTUALLY think it's going to happen.

The world has changed a ton since WW2 I don't think we can go through something like that again, ever.
315  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The universal revenue on: February 08, 2017, 09:17:38 PM
Never going to be adopted around the world and I pray that it never is, paying people just for the purpose of giving them money is just a bunch of horseshit and anyone with half a brain should understand that.

I get that if you're disabled and unable to work for that money I get it, but if you're fully able to work and EARN then you should have to. Giving out money is not going to help anyone and it's just going to further the problem present.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: February 08, 2017, 09:15:31 PM
It's just like a fiat currency when it comes to discussing worth, it's only real worth as much as the people who use it and control it say it's worth. Nothing just holds worth based on that's just what it is, that is the going price for the buying and selling of bitcoin and people must follow it.

Unless the demand and such changes then that forces the worth of bitcoin to adjust.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: February 08, 2017, 09:13:59 PM
I wouldn't say it's hard to buy bitcoin I'd say that people are just forced to follow rules such as KYC which forces people to get verification of identity verification to make sure you are who you say you are. This isn't due to the legit exchanges just wanting to know random information, they're forced into getting this data by the governments.

I personally have no problem verifying my identity on a site like coinbase but others may, I guess you'll be forced to pay a higher percentage fee for using a service such as LBC or Paxful.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2017, 09:11:00 PM
Biggest disadvantages are going to have to be the confirmation problem with bitcoin where nothing is instant and you must wait for someone to confirm the transaction. I guess it is a trade-off being that it's impossible to recover but it's still kind of annoying.

Another annoying this has got to be the lack of adoption of bitcoin in the day to day world where you're forced to buy things with fiat cash instead of bitcoin.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to 2,000 $ soon ? why not ? on: February 07, 2017, 09:41:09 PM
Bitcoin is totally not going to hit $2000 anytime soon, nor do I think bitcoin will ever hit that number at all. I think bitcoin will probably have it's high (not all time) at around $1100 and bitcoin should and hopefully will stick around that price.

I say hopefully based on the fact that bitcoin needs to stable out for mass adoption, it's really the only way.
320  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Announcing SOCRYPTO.COM - the Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Social Network on: February 07, 2017, 09:33:11 PM
As said before the back area of the site is pretty appealing, I would look into getting some sort of design for your business on this. I'm not really seeing how this is going to gain traction too as the bitcoin community is already a pretty small niche I don't really see the reason for attempting to capture a SMALLER niche of people who'll want to use your social network.

Bigger networks already have it in the bag, sorry bud. Still wishing you the best and even I hope I'm wrong.
