The staff here thinks big and does happen! I use the new Wallet. Blocks synchronize perfectly. You did good things for NYC, TronRex. Who has some stored in the old wallet as it does need to perform the switch to the new?
New one just has update libs. Any will work but it is recommended to update to new one. Just back up and replace wallet in new QT. |

Wallet is broken.
Apphung and crash on Windows 7 64bit when starting with -datadir=<dir> command.
Wallet starts when using default %appdata% roaming dir.
Please fix.

You´re obviously not reading what i´m posting since you even ask what system i´m running. I stated initially that just doubleclicking the qt and run with the deafult datadir in %appdata%\newyorkc works ok (which most people probably use), however i dont want to pollute my SSD system drive with blockchains from all my shitcoins, because it just doesn't have the space needed. Therefore i need to redirect it to another drive, ie: K:\crypto\newyorkcoin\newyorkcoin-qt.exe -datadir="K:\crypto\newyorkcoin\data" I´m using that with alla other coins but its not working with this wallet. It simply hangs and crashes before the splashscreen is showing up and no files are written to K:\crypto\newyorkcoin\data. Rozu have mentioned about creating another coin called "Nickel" in the same chain. The idea is basically to divide available cent by 1000. In another word 1000 cent equals to 1 nickel or something like that without sacrificing the non-decimal feature. Non-decimal is the single reason why I LOVE MY CENT. While I'm not a programmer, the idea of 1000 cent representing another unit of measurement sounds more like 1000 pennies = 1 Dollar. Let me know how I could help. Yes. Same blockchain, but it would be best to go on to new wallet since it has updated files. Although it will work perfectly with old wallet also. |

Please contact TronREX at the NYC Bitcoinforum. He is updating and taking over NewYorkCoin. If you still hold NewYorkCoin get in contact with TronREX.
Would tell us, in what reference you posted this to community. I am little confused? TronREX, confirmed that old NYC coins stays same and there is no swap. Only people holding old coins needs to update wallet to recent that he developed recently. Is bleutrade using the new wallet? Did someone contact them? I will give them a contact as soon as I figure out how to load source to github.  |
