301  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: January 04, 2018, 03:25:08 PM
Nothing will happen to banks, banks are here for more than 100 years. Banking industry have changed, updated and modified them from time to time. In future when cryptocurrencies will become more popular than fiat currency banks will change themselves. They may introduce their own cryptocurrecies or may regulate currencies operating at that time. Some banks have already started steps in this direction.
To add to this, banks will likely adopt or they will die like other companies that don't adopt change. Look at Nokia, back in the day they control over 60% of the market, but just in a few years to only had 10%. And not they are gone. They were a company valued at $50 billion dollars when it was in its prime, but the company was only sold at $7 billion dollars to Microsoft. This will happen to banks if they do not adopt change, for sure someone else will gladly take their position.
302  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-04] China Isn’t Shutting Down Bitcoin Miners: Report on: January 04, 2018, 03:18:35 PM
The news back in mid 2017 was really just a hyped up one really. If you all remember, there was really no regulation released by china. All there was was a news about China "thinking" of regulating cryptocurrencies, but they are not really laws released but just talks among the regulators. What was only true there was that they regulated ICOs which should really have been done given the number of ICOs that just stole money from the investors.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: January 04, 2018, 12:40:57 PM
It sure safer in the wallet so long as your wallet or laptop is safe as well. I have some on exchanges because I think I'm going to cash them out anytime soon too. If you are like me who is on the move like a wanted outlaw, you might find your tokens safer in exchanges. Having a verified account in bittrex I think is ALMOST safe.

It depends really. If you are actively trading there is no point keeping your bitcoins or altcoins in your own wallet, is it? The main reason you are keeping them are that you are trading and it would extremely be a drag that you need to move funds in and out of your wallet and the exchange just to keep safe if you are trading. The only time it is best to keep your coins in your own wallet is when you are holding it for the long run.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: January 04, 2018, 08:02:52 AM
It is extremely profitable and also extremely risky! There is a chance that you can earn double, triple or even x1000 your money in an instant but there is also a chance that you lose everything in an instant as well. That's how trading is. There are people that got lucky like investing into something weird like XRP that just got pumped really outrageously this past weeks. It jumped from 20 cents to 3 dollars in just a few days, that's really crazy growth.
305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 04, 2018, 06:56:08 AM
The thing is there is no way you can trade without losses, some days you get good trades and profit but there will be days that you get losses and that part of trading. You can't win every trade, that's practically impossible, unless you can predict the future then that's the only way you can trade without even incurring a loss which is much more improbable. I think it's really just part of trading and you can't remove that part of trading.
306  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I Earned 0.5 In 2 days. See How To Do It Here on: January 02, 2018, 11:59:14 PM
When I started my career from Bittrex, I thought things would be very straight forward, but due to lack of knowledge and experience, it was difficult to make good money.

That’s where Average Signals service comes in being an absolute delight, it’s having astonishing accuracy rate to have us making money with quite ease on Bittrex and Poloniex. We can join them through Telegram, so fairly simple. And can kick start profit making for us in simplest way possible.

I am guessing OP is just promoting this website, I don't think he really did earn that much here but just merely promoting his own website to gain from probably advertising or worse, scams and hacks the visitors. I wouldn't trust anybody that just suddenly show how they earn money. It's illogical to share your money making method without anything in exchange.
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading guide for newbie on: January 02, 2018, 11:45:21 PM

Good read! Thanks for the share, it's fascinating to see that you can always learn more when you read more. Anyway, I would say in addition to this, is that experience is still the best teacher. Since you can't always rely on others to teach you trading or you can't just expect that you'll be good at it just by reading.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2018, 11:39:40 PM
I don't see the point of facebook accepting bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency. What, they will open their own ICO? That's a stupid management decision if they do.
309  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My friends' money is stuck at coinbase on: January 01, 2018, 11:51:26 PM
Better just come clean. It woukld not help to lie about it, since for sure they will ask for identification.
310  Economy / Marketplace / Re: bitcoin 2 bottom place in technical point... on: January 01, 2018, 11:33:09 PM
support point looks on 10,800$ .. If we see lower than this price, than it may stay for a while at this price.

But after January, the price will come to 18-24,000$ again.

Indeed, it is very smart to enter now

How do you calculate this? Why do you think support point is $10.800?
I'm in doubt about it too, but I don't understand why BTC would drop to a 'low price' like that as we are already on $13.000-$14.000 for some time and nothing worse happenened.

These people are just creating some sort of buzz. To be honest, no technical analysis can every predict bitcoins or anything for that matter. Technical analysis is super overrated and should not really be something to be considered. Since those people that make these technical analysis are actually just making it up, finding models that would fit perfectly for a prediction. You can actually make a technical analysis of anything that would result to it going up or down, so why should you believe anything?
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who day trades and who is a holder? on: January 01, 2018, 11:20:32 PM
I would say that I am just a HODLer. It's quite hard to day trade and scary as well. The risk is extremely high and there is a greater chance to lose money than to gain some if you don't know much about what you are doing or you are not an expert at it. I have a friend who lost about 9 bitcoins just day trading though I would say that he has a lot of bitcoins for trading so I think that's not much to lose but he gains about the same amount in day trading.
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's up with arbitrage on: December 30, 2017, 11:53:10 PM
Has anyone in been observing this craze lately? Basically certain exchanges will have consistent price differences with other major ones. I'm not talking Bitfinex, which is probably done for, but pretty much all else known to be reliable exchanges.

I'm wondering, isn't there any pressure to close such gaps in the price? it's really a good chance for traders to profit with arbitrage but I really can't fathom how those gaps remain open for hours.

Due to the crazy prices with all alts and even bitcoins, there has been a lot of arbitrage opportunity. This is a normal effect of the price volatility of everything in crypto. The best thing is to take the opportunity yourself. It's hard to do but it is possible to profit big time on arbitrage opportunities. Also you have to have some btc in a lot of exchanges and you have to transfer what you bought from one exchange to the other fairly quick also considering the cost of moving alts as it could eat up profits.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back again to 10k or even below 10k on: December 30, 2017, 11:43:27 PM
Looking at prices right now and its movement, it is looking like it is possible. But I guess if it does touch $10,000 then it could possibly cause a huge bounce back and prices could sky rocket past $20,000 in the first quarter of 2018. Right now, it is extremely hard to get back what bitcoins lost before the year ends (which is about just 24hrs from now depending on where you live). Though I am still hopeful this will go up in the near future.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: December 30, 2017, 11:27:00 PM
It never was. The thing is bitcoins can never be classified as currency using the old and conventional description of what currency is in most jurisdictions. The reason is plain and simple, a currency is something that is backed up by commodity such as gold or that it is backed up by a centralized authority or state. Both of which are not something available in bitcoins. The issue is clear, bitcoins are something else and it needs to be classified by the governments different from currency.
315  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-30] Crypto Exchange Poloniex to Impose Customer ID Requirements on: December 30, 2017, 10:38:00 PM
So far I think they have already asked for ID from all new accounts. I guess the only new news here is that they would require ID from old accounts that were previously created when the KYC policy was not yet in place. I have one of these accounts when they only needed an email and a name. Looks like everything is changing now, probably I would comply rather than have my trading account frozen.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now make it super easy to fund something in full secret on: December 29, 2017, 08:31:05 AM
I agree bitcoins has made it easy for people to fund something in secret. Though I think it really is not all bad. There are things that might be useful if it is a secret, like probably a surprise or probably for charity and the person donating wants to be annonymous. There are a lot of things that is more benefitial if it is secret that doesn’t involve being illegal.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Happy New Year $22000? on: December 29, 2017, 08:18:32 AM
Right now that doesn’t look like something possible right now. Prices has gone down pretty bad and prices are far from $22,000 right now. There is only a few days left for the year and it would still take $8,000 increase to get to the target price. That is so far away and it would take a whole lot of increase to get there. It’s possible but more inclined to impossible.
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the consequences of increasing demand to bitcoin? on: December 29, 2017, 08:06:18 AM
Since bitcoin prices are extremely driven by supply and demand the price is affected greatly if the demand increases. The thing about it is that large swings in price will likely occur and once everybody who wants bitcoins already has their fill then it would be hard to sell it at high prices hence it could lead to price drops as well. Well this is actually ehat is happening right now. Volatility is still a problem because of the ever changing demand for bitcoins.
319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you know this trading platform? on: December 29, 2017, 05:27:55 AM
Not sure if this is a legitimate question or you’r just promoting some kind of service here. I am guessing you are part of this project and just trying to advertise the project by creating some buzz about it through asking questions like this thread. Fur sure no one has heard your project, since you just started and you are really advertising it throuh shady methods like this. You should change your strategy and advertise properly.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 will be “The Year of the Cryptocurrency Craze”!!!! on: December 28, 2017, 11:37:42 PM
Can we all first stop with the "year of" BS? It's getting tiring, this has been used on the forum like how much we have used "hodl". :/

The thing is, cryptorucerrencies are the buzz word online nowadays (that doesn't make it "the year of" BS!). The reason is that the world is transitioning to this new found technology that would likely revolutionize the world. The only thing constant in this world is change, and change will happen in how we use money through cryptocurrencies. This is a fact we must accept.
