301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning to invest in Tron Coin on: November 21, 2019, 02:55:33 AM
Recently there are so many projects are launching under Tron platform and more will be in future like telegram projects are planned .

And I'm watching Tron price from last few days its getting better day by day so this is the best time to invest in Tron Coins?

Tron has a future. But I think you have to be patient if you invest in it. It is one of the altcoins with strong performance, mainly due to its very active team. In terms of price growth however, we can never know for sure when Tron (TRX) will get back even at the $0.10 price. The owner is very active though. But sometimes he sounds annoying.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a Developer To Take Over a Dead Project on: November 21, 2019, 02:29:55 AM
If I just may add, we're still in the bear market, so it doesn't make sense to revived a dead project because investors is very hesitant to invest on any project right now.

So if you have plans then I would wait till the market is in a bullish trend before restoring your project. And I'm sure no one will take that big risk today because of the current market situations.

This is also my thought but I think this will not be done in a month or two. This will probably take a longer time. Perhaps by the time the team has already did the revival and the launching is ready, the market has already recovered.

However, it does not sound wise to me to revive a dead project. The investors must have some bad memories or traumatic experiences with that project.
303  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 🔥 Anyone switching exchanges🔥 on: November 20, 2019, 03:47:19 AM
HuobiDM is fairly new exchange but built on top of Huobi Global.

Anyone interested in trying it out let me know.

www.hbdm.com

Please indulge me for having questions. I just don't understand. Why is Huobi growing in numbers? They are like producing many forks. Or are they like branches of the main Huobi? The only Huobi that I used to know was only called Huobi. And then we now have Huobi Global and Huobi DM. But I kind of get that they have Huobi US and Huobi Indonesia.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: In 3 sentence or Less- Post your Fundamental Analysis of Bitcoin on: November 20, 2019, 03:19:07 AM
Let's hear some Quick Takes on the inner workings of Bitcoin! cmon. Does Bitcoin really have what it takes to keep that Mojo up and running??? Long term?

Post your take in 3 sentences or less. Let's hear it. Keep it short & Sweet. And don't let back.

Bitcoin is decentralized, meaning no owner or central body that controls it.

Bitcoin is safe because it cannot be hacked, tampered, or destroyed.

Bitcoin has limited supply unlike fiat.

Those three lines are enough to kill the traditional banking system. Believe me, we are already seeing it happening.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: warning be aware from Hitbtc exchange on: November 20, 2019, 02:28:35 AM
Hey there, might want to check this. Perhaps this is why.

Afaik, whenever hitbtc have upcoming coin swap or maintenance on wallet, they always have this on the dashboard as so the users can see this. Idk why you failed to see this.
Op you probably miss this message from them. I don't use the exchange as it has been given with several unfavorable reviews but as for checking it right now there are active trades on its pair. Is the swap/maintenance done?

https://hitbtc.com/exchange/ICX-to-BTC

This must have been the valid reason why. But I wonder why the OP is saying that he cannot withdraw or transfer his ICX tokens for about four months already. I doubt if the maintenance or token swap will last that long. The OP is even saying that there are also other users who cannot do withdrawals and transfers of ICX funs for more than a year already.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: Asset backed cryptocoins? on: November 20, 2019, 02:00:54 AM
We have seen some of the assets backed crypto coins in the market on the way and do you guys think this will be the future as this is directly based on national assets like gold and other products like charcoal and energy based products.  This will help in growth of country's economy if not taken over by greedy corporatesand and and will it have government's support or soft corner in the regulator's eye as it will bring in some money from outside.

I have heard of many people saying the future is going to be asset backed tokens. They may be right but I cannot see a very strong asset-backed token as of this moment. There are fiat-based tokens though. They are backed with actual fiat but they are not considered asset-backed tokens. There were many attempts in the past to sell tokens that are claiming to be gold-backed but nothing is heard of them ever since. They must have all failed.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: November 19, 2019, 04:10:00 AM
Bitcoin will remain the dominant for a very long period of time because Bitcoin is not comparable to any altcoin. The growth of cryptocurrency and its adoption in the world is going to benefit Bitcoin more than any altcoin. So for as long as the cryptocurrency growth is adding new people and investors to itself, Bitcoin will remain the dominant as every newcomer in this world will certainly prefer and buy Bitcoin first before he is going to consider buying an altcoin.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What type of Cryptocurrency is used in the Deep Web for transactions? on: November 19, 2019, 03:38:37 AM
I know that the deep web mainly uses cryptos as a means of transactions for people who want to buy things over there, but what type of cryptos are mainly used when making those transactions? It’s just a curious question I have in my mind.

The deep web is the most anonymous and private part of the web. Identities are hidden there more than anywhere else because the transactions could involve the most illegal transactions in the world. And with this, they are also using the most private cryptocurrencies out there. I guess Monero (XMR) tops all privacy coins right now. Other big names include Dash and ZCash. But of course other altcoins and Bitcoin are also acceptable.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: your biggest income, from this year's Bounty campaign? on: November 19, 2019, 03:06:31 AM
how many prizes did you get from this year's bounty project? knowing many fraudulent projects in 2018-2019, I personally only get $ 500 from 2 projects like SESSIA and Colletrix, and that is also a social media campaign.
on the one hand there are some tokens that are worthless, not yet listed on the exchange and there are some tokens that haven't been sent to my wallet.

how about your story?

That is a very nice amount already. I think I gained very little from my bounties here especially in 2018 and 2019. But I got curious as to how you managed to do just that when you are just a newbie. I think it is very difficult to earn $500 in just social media campaigns. That is why I do not participate in those campaigns at all. Your social media accounts must have a high number of followers that you received very huge stakes in the campaigns.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal Drops Pornhub Support, Pornhub Is Now Exploring Cryptocurrency Options on: November 19, 2019, 02:32:47 AM
Considering paypal has always been doing bad things for their customers and why people are looking a way out, there is no surprise that they stopped working with pornhub and I am 99% sure they will go bankrupt soon. Maybe in 5 years maybe in 10 years but paypal will be gone for sure, they can't sustain this horrible business model where they are doing something against all of their customers and still get away with it because they are the most common one we know.

Aren't there other payment methods? There are, which means the more people complain about them the more companies will start to offer other options and people will use those options eventually and paypal will be gone. The only good thing paypal is doing right now is ability to integrate on any website, when other payment solutions get to that level paypal will be gone.
Bolded part.

This is the main reason why they cant be easily be stepped out of the game. They've been mainly integrated by most sites marketplaces, freelancing sites, online services .
So its hard to think that they would be phased or crossed out anytime soon.

We cant predict the future but as long fiat do exist then im pretty sure that Paypal would still exist still for more longer years. We cant think off for another payment system
other than crypto which we know it isn't been fully adopted yet but who knows if we do come to that point.

Paypal became the most convenient payment choice of many people because of its global system which is accepted by a lot of online shopping sites, banks, and other businessmen such as pornhub. Pornhub is just one of the many. It is indeed convenient. We should not deny that. I have used Paypal during the days when my employer was based on another country. But with the coming of crypto, I think it is more convenient to use Bitcoin or altcoins instead. Paypal money transfer imposes higher fees. Using crypto is much cheaper now.

The only annoys me for using paypal is the fee since they take out huge percentage when we do a transaction and maybe pornhub see that that's why maybe they will find a good option so that they can save from transaction fee's together to their costumers in more convenient manner and crypto is a good option really for this since they can select on which is the best since there are crypto like xrp who offer less fee and fast.

That is one annoying thing about Paypal. The fee is enormous especially if it involves large sums of money. And another thing is the processing time. It cannot offer the swiftness that cryptocurrency is offering in terms of processing time. Even if crypto confirmation time is slow at times when there is clogging in the network, it can still very much offer a faster way than Paypal transfer.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: World debt and currency reset on: November 19, 2019, 02:04:30 AM
There were cases of huge national debts that were totally scrapped. That is one thing that we should not be seeing. That implies one most important thing, that the fiat system is perfect in its imperfection and is not reliable at all. The system is as flawed as it is being ruled by people whose subjective decisions will put other people or countries at the cruel end of poverty while the others live a decent life. And only for what? Only for their decisions about a certain fiat which has no actual value in truth.
Such cases should not be easy to erase because they will not have any responsibility at all, it is better than any debt must be resolved fairly, the system is not instantly able to be good, only all the systems used can still be revised and carried out evaluation so that it can create a strong system and no more disability. such a process must be gone through and is mandatory because it can later provide a powerful system.

If I can still remember it right when this kind of topic was discussed during my student days, offers to totally scrap off a certain country's debt is for those countries that have just attained democracy. This is the transition phase from a dictatorial or totalitarian phase into a democratic phase. For these countries to be able to start from scratch clean and not from the remnants of the old regimes, they have the option to accept the offer and develop their economy from there.
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2019, 04:11:16 AM
Who is not holding Bitcoin here in Bitcointalk? I doubt there is none. Even those members here who are very bullish on altcoins must have Bitcoin in their portfolio. Otherwise, I doubt if they are really supporters of cryptocurrency and Bitcointalk. Bitcoin is by default everyone's coin. It is like when you enter the cryptocurrency universe, you will have to do your best to buy Bitcoin. That is the baptism in this world. No Bitcoin means you are not one of us crypto people.
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2019, 03:54:11 AM
The fact that altcoins like ETH, BCH and others are slowly gaining more use has made me thinking. If somebody were to HODL one currency, what could it be?
A 100% altcoin portfolio? Or a 100% bitcoin portfolio?
Or do you support holding multiple crypto coin holding?

Holding a multiple crypto portfolio is most preferable. You don't have to focus on a single coin only. That is a poorly-created and very risky portfolio for me. I will have to repeat this although this has been repeatedly said by many here. Do not put your eggs in a single basket. Whatever happens to any single coin, if your portfolio is a mixture of different good coins, its total value will not plunge. In doing that, you are managing your risk pretty well. If you are risking your entire portfolio in one coin only, it will only take a bad decision of that coin and your entire portfolio is gone.

316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Red trust account users can still introduce good bounties on: November 18, 2019, 02:36:27 AM
Yes indeed, someone who has been hit by a red trust has been labeled as a negative offender. But if we talk on occasion, I think users affected by the red trust may have the ability to promote, or make articles, videos better than normal users.
I am not defending them but just trying to see other possibilities. On the other hand, bounty managers should also pay more attention to them when they join bounties that BM handles. Because just in case they do not commit fraud again as they have previously obtained.

For sure, someone given a red trust is most probably violating a forum rule. That is the presumption. We always think that there is a reason for the respective staff or moderator for giving a particular member that tag. And we also presume that the reason is itself reasonable. But we cannot also say that all red tags are perfectly done or are deserving. But if we talk of skills and abilities red tags do not usually reflect them. Unless the tags are for copying other works or plagiarism.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 17, 2019, 01:41:46 PM
I wish that the picture says it all as simple as that but in reality the bull is near yet so far. Despite of the down market, I’m planning to spend all my money from my salary, bonus and other income to buy bitcoin because I know next year is a big year for all of us. The next bull run is going to be very big and I’m willing to spend money just to store more bitcoin, its better to sacrifice now and then take profit on bull trend.

Sacrifice for the sake of investment may be considered good but take caution not to sacrifice everything to what is not certain at all. Remember the advice that you should not invest what you cannot afford to lose. We all believe that there will be a bull run coming. We all trust in the future of crypto but to make sure you will still have a bright future despite all the possibilities, you should not risk everything.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Red trust account users can still introduce good bounties on: November 17, 2019, 01:11:11 PM
A red trust can be a sign of abuse and dishonesty, but many times it is given by someone just for envy or personal dislike.
Someone will remember that there were moderators who gave red trusts to everyone for really meaningless things.

Hmmm i think the moderators have it's own logical reason to give someone a red trust, not based on envy or something like that. I've never seen a mods give someone a redtrust with meaningless fault. Can you tell me what is your meaning ? of you can give us the example for clearing your statement
I agree the reason to give red trust is because of dishonesty, there are some cases where it often happens, where they cheat and do not obey the rules. but if based on jealousy, I think it's not true, if where because of jealousy then you can complain, if you still feel right, then it can also be published on the forum

That jealousy as the reason for the red trust is basically a subjective point of view. It can hardly be proven because if there is an instance such as that it will definitely be brought up and discussed among the moderators and staff. It cannot just be left unattended like that. And for sure we can always hear a justification from the moderator or staff for tagging a certain manager as not trustworthy.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: Can demand from an isolated market like Argentina drive up the BTC/USD price? on: November 17, 2019, 03:36:49 AM
I think I have read an article more or less a month ago that the price of Bitcoin in Argentina is more expensive than the price of Bitcoin in the worldwide market. If I am not mistaken, Bitcoin is valued at more than $11,000 in Argentina when the article was written. Bitcoin must be cheaper than that in the open market outside the country. That could mean that the demand of Bitcoin within the country is higher but its demand does not really pump up the price of Bitcoin outside. It must have something to do with their accessibility to Bitcoin.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the not-so-known ways to generate crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 03:15:10 AM
Everyone talks about blogging, commerce, using referral systems, bounty, campaign signatures, streaming, selling courses, offering their services in gaming, camwhore. But there are other not so known ways to generate/earn cryptos?

You did not mention trading. That is the number one way to generate cryptocurrency. But that is also a way to lose all your crypto if you are doing it the wrong way. But that is definitely one. Another would be gambling. But again, just like trading, that is also as risky. Another would be mining, although this one requires a lot of money to start with. Just like staking. But again, they are all legit ways to earn crypto.
that's right, my first way to produce crypto besides doing bounty is trading and gambling. because it is very fun and until now gambling and trading is my favorite to produce crypto. if you have good enough skills you can benefit every day and of course, you must have your luck. Cheesy

This is an exaggeration on your part. Trading and gambling are fun and they will generate crypto for you but it is obviously not true that you can benefit from them on a daily basis. Let it be clear to everyone that trading and gambling have risks and instead of creating crypto it will burn the crypto that you currently have. It is my assumption that even an expert trader and gambler will also lost sometimes.
