Kind of a strange question on a forum that evolves around the subject you brought up  But most answers on this would be yes. It started from only a few quarters into a couple of hundred dollars within a span of 4-6 years so the hope of it to have a bright future is very much alive.  I believe it has a future not because I am here, but because the concept of bitcoin is what makes bitcoin unique. To some extent i believe bitcoin will overtake the global currencies. Its already overtake currency when we talk about the value of it.but need more time to introduce it more to any country and reflect in any corner of the world that didn't know bitcoin. still so many countries are there where people have no knowledge about bitcoin, i think even in my own country abuot 70 % people do not know about bitocoin. but the good thing is that the number of bitcoin uses is increasing here day by day and that is the good sign for bitcoin. |

i think that USD dollar and BITCON both will be effective in future. but bitcoin will be a little more as most of the people at that time will using bitcoin as a primary currency and Dollar will be use as secondary currency.

Bitcoin has been used in illegal activities ever since. And this stuff have a very bad effect in Bitcoins. It gives doubt and make people unfortable using bitcoin. This is also one of the main reason why people have second thought in investing or adopting bitcoin to their stores. People who are unaware what bitcoin is are afraid to be in relation with illegal activities once they use Bitcoin.
gun , drugs or other illegal buyers are not the problem in the bitcoin , the problem is the hackers who can make an virus or software that can steal your bitcoins. yes that is a fact. there is no fault of bitcoin to be used for ill legal activities. i think there are all kid of persons present in the society. and every one has their own intention. some people are using it for good while other are using if for ill legal activities. |

Mainly as an investment, given the fact that there are not many places to use Bitcoin daily.
That is a problem that we all are facing at a moment and as we don't have option to use it as a currency we need to hold it for the future to earn best returns from it. yes that is a fact. we also facing the problem that we cannot use bitocin as currency in our local market. because in our market there is no present a single shop where they accept bitcoin for goods. so i am only holding it for the price increase. but i think that is also not bad and in our favour. becuase the price of bitcoin is expecting to raise high. |

So, why do we need to use Bitcoin???
Personally. I use bitcoin because its easy to invest and earn. A lot of oppurtunity out there to earn. And the transfer method of btc is hassle free. We cannot point a single benefit as bitcoin offers us multiple benefits and individual should try to use it according to his convenience. yes that is a very good idea. i think it give us triple benefits. one is that we can use it any where have equal value. second is that we can hold it as investment and the third is that it can be earn as a job from a signature campaign. |

I do not use drugs, but I believe that one of the significant markets that promoted the wider use of Bitcoin was Silk Road. If you are waiting for Bitcoin use to be widespread based on "paying bills" I think you will be waiting a very long time.
I also not using drugs and have not heard about those paces or websites where drugs are provided with bitcoin. But as drugs are banned strictly everywhere so no one will dare to provide drug as they love their lives. yes that is a fact and may be you personally have no concern with drugs but still you can see so many people who are using and purchasing bitcoin. they do not care about their lives. they think that their lives lies in drugs. ye buying drugs with bitcoin is not a big issue. there are so many people who are buying drugs in their fiat currency. then why are we not blaming the local currency and only talking about bitcoin. |

Of course yes, bitcoin can be used for, trading, shopping, i think all of them is good. Depend on users who use bitcoin and we can not be blame bitcoin because of some people who use bitcoin for bad something.
Yes bitcoin can be used for good thing like can buy books and computers or mobiles and other things etc online. BTC is just a currency. It can be used for all good things as well as it can be used to buy goods. From my personal experience, I use the bitcoin to pay cell phone bills. I also use it to play some games. that is also a good idea. but if you exchange your bitcoin in a fiat and then distribute it in needy people its mean that you are using bitcoin for good indirectly. |

yes i am 100 percent agree with you. i think in present time we cannot ignore the importance on one. the bank has its own importance which bitcoin wallet has its one. because in present time we are not 100 percent depending on bitcoin therefore i think bank is also important in present time. |
