if this is based on one satoshi becoming to valuable to use for "normal" transactions then i don't think anyone here will care because every person here will be multi millionaires by the time we got anywhere near that point. If one satoshi was not viable to use anymore the value of bitcoin would be insane. If one satoshi was $10,one bitcoin would be $1 billion, so the total value of bitcoin would be 21million x 1 billion lol
not something we need to worry about anytime soon

lol well that was fun, someone just sold a ton of coins cheap lol.

the sheer volume of coins traded around $30+ makes me think we're in a strong position, 25k btc were bought in one go to take us from $30.80 - $33, smashing through the ATH. Shortly after about 12.5k coins were sold off, eating two huge (6k+4.8k) walls, taking us down a bit but we very quickly recovered. The very next day another dump of about 15k coins barely registered and we find ourselves at the end of the week hanging around $34.50.
The volume of coins traded in the last week must be huge, and then you look at the exchange and see that if someone was to sell off 50k btc in one go right now we would only drop to $30. There must be $5m+ traded over the last 7 days and all at $28 or above.

don't worry, this thread is just a bubble, it's increasing in page size too fast, it's going to crash, err... i mean big correction, ..... a reversal i tell you!! This thread will be back down to single digits very soon !!
not to mention the fact that 50k coins would only drop us to the $26-$27 region and i'd bet it would be back up to $30 very quickly.
$10 would take 150k btc without anyone even trying to buy against it. So you'd need a good $5m to get near $10
good luck finding someone who will lend you $1.5m - $3m worth of btc
that's what i find most pathetic, 1 person sells a chunk of coins and all the bears jump all over it, shame that every time it just moves back up to what it was before and shows them up.
"omg 1 person sold" crash crash correction correction!!
I'm guessing it was the same person as yesterday, maybe SatoshiDice cashing out some profit.
Yesterday over 12k btc were dumped rapid style, and the same again today and the market barely notices, i think that's a fantastic thing, such a huge amount of coins have changed hands at $30+
that was $400k or there abouts sold off, someone just got a nice payday, but also good to pass the coins over
I don't think we're in a bubble at all, i think even at 400m it is easily capable of hitting $1bil, considering it's the worlds largest virtual currency, and a piece of genius. All around all i see is major construction of solid foundations. Silicon Valley hedge funded companies moving in.
I think bitcoin still has a good few gears to move, it's still a baby.

WTF happened? 've been watching 24/7 for ages. I go away 3hrs ago, it's pushed up to $31.50 but looking to be weakening a little bit, i come home 3hrs later and it's $32.96!!
was there one massive buy up or did the walls just disintegrate? i never thought it would be that fast.
and there's over 10k coins waiting to be bought as well.
HANDS UP WHO FEELS SORRY FOR THE SELLING BEARS (snigger snigger)
it's certainly interesting to see the walls start to crumble simply from the rumble of the oncoming bulls
lol, $31.4 now and 1000+ coins on the bid side above $32.2
[31.2, 449], [31.20001, 104.18817408] ~$17,160 USD is needed to get back up above $31.20 If someone doesn't do this soon, the market will die of boredom and crash by the weekend. Where are the Bulls now? $31.28 on gox right now.
that's quite a story, thanks for the post, the foundations of bitcoin seem to get more and more solid by the day

it's absolute madness what people on here call crashes or even "mini crashes", seriously.
if the DOW dropped 5% in one day that would be a huge crash, no? 5% in one day would not be a huge crash, especially not if the price had doubled in the previous month and if you want to compare Bitcoin to the Dow then that's just ridiculous

Looks like the US is waking up and people are starting to put those walls up, it's going to be a repeat of last week at $30. 13.5k wall up to 32 now, very similar in size to $30 walls
10k coins to $32 , that's less than the wall that was at $30.
