Bitstamp bears looking at Huobi like ".....fuck"
302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going to $340 on Bitstamp on: October 16, 2014, 11:26:48 PM
I'm agree with you - bulls are trying to curse reality. Even if price goes to 500, downtrend won't reverse. It is too early.

Too early according to what?
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going to $340 on Bitstamp on: October 16, 2014, 10:51:51 PM
You sold exactly as they wanted you to.

Now you will have to buy back at a loss.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 16, 2014, 09:33:29 PM
those 2 k disappeared from the books, so someone just closed shorts.

nothing to see here, move along.

Shorts on bitstamp... yeah.

bitfinex goes through bitstamp.

Actually they don't. They stopped this a few months ago.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 16, 2014, 09:14:07 PM
Oh look another mini ask wall. I hope they don't mind "loosing" those coins too

What is it with these goddamn dumpers!

They are financially retarded, let them do their thing.
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 16, 2014, 08:43:22 PM
Sorry Mr. Bear Manipulator.... You are too weak.
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 16, 2014, 06:59:52 PM
I wish they would just dump all of those coins. I mean they obviously don't want them anymore and they obviously don't care how much they get for them either. So why not just give us some more "cheap" coins?

Go ahead, do it!

^
How is constantly losing money interesting?  I mean, it's sorta fun to watch from the sidelines, but actually doing it?
Nevermind, not for me to judge, carry on.

Congrats. You're the new #1 troll here. Short since 300s?

Yes he is the #1 troll, now please stop quoting him.

Its weird how only newbies and jr members post this kind of crap.
312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Poll] Free Ross OR Kill Ross <search for public opinion> on: October 14, 2014, 09:41:18 PM
I say give him 5 years just to make a point. But I'm pretty sure the case will be dismissed since the feds unlawfully hacked into the server.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 14, 2014, 01:52:12 AM
This same idiot has been stacking sell walls since $280.  You would think he would be tired of loosing money by now.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 14, 2014, 12:12:03 AM
I have no clue why anyone would sell right now.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 13, 2014, 10:15:28 PM
The 0.04 sell bot turned into a 0.04 buy bot... Interesting
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 13, 2014, 10:10:24 PM
Last chance to dump under $400 to save your shorts, even though they will get squeezed anyways.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 13, 2014, 09:44:36 PM
How do you download off the pirate bay? I only seem to be able to get .exe files which I'm not seriously gonna try and open.

You can just stream it here:

http://vodly.to/watch-2752062-The-Rise-and-Rise-of-Bitcoin

yeah that page is blocked in North Korea where I live, sorry I meant the UK.

You need a torrent client. utorrent was the recommended one for windows last time I messed with that side of things.

I have a torrent client, but the file I download shouldn't be a .exe should it? There's like 9 download buttons all with different URLs.

Look for the button that looks like a red magnet. That should start up your torrent client automatically. And no it's not an exe file. It's an avi or MP4, I can't remember which.

All you Apple haters - are you jealous or afraid Huh

It's one thing to disagree, but there has to be a reason for the hate.

Apple haters? Here?

There are certainly people who pity gullible Apple owners around here. Perhaps there are some who hate Apple for taking advantage of those who pay a premium for inferior products but that's like hating Mcdonalds for taking advantage of those who choose to pay more for a Happy Meal than for healthy food from a family-owned restaurant. If a person decides to pay more for less, that's his/her business. Don't blame the showman for fleecing the rube.

Here in Bitcoinland some still dislike Apple for pulling all Bitcoin-related programs from their "Apps" store, although that foolish decision has been rescinded.

I don't think anyone is jealous or fearful. Hate is definitely too strong a word.
________

Full disclosure: My only Apple PC is a Hackintosh Asus EeePC901 running OSX Snow Leopard. I haven't bothered with it in years.

I do however own an iPad Mini with "Retina" display which I find to be almost unusable. You can't connect it to a USB port of a PC without an overpriced proprietary cable. Even when it's connected, you cant transfer files to the internal storage (no SD slot) without installing malware called iTunes and connecting to the internet.

You can't install any software (including free) without signing up for an Apple account, disclosing personal information and giving them a credit card number.

My Sony Xperia Z Ultra Android device (I can't call it a phone because I didn't put in a SIM card) just plain works. It is fully anonymous and it didn't even need to be rooted like my almost-as-crappy-as-Apple Nexus7. I can download APK files on a PC, transfer them through a normal USB cable to my Xperia and install them without ever going to "Play" store or even signing up for some sleazy Google account. It's everything the iPad isn't.

TL;DR - Apple sux.

Feel free to give me that iPad for Christmas!
