301  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: June 21, 2014, 06:17:00 PM
Zarlan made a statment. It tells us one thing for sure: It is going to take at least another two weeks!

This is probably more accurate than his statement.

I will let everyone know if I hear anything, but as far as I've heard we're close to the cutoff.  We can just hope it's on the right side of it.
Yeah, that's what I've been wondering about.  I don't know how many first day orders there were but there's implications that there were quite a few.

I will assume as you are still waiting on orders from BFL that you took the Imp upgrade and the free Monarch at the end of the queue.  Don't need to know numbers just looking for confirmation on that fact.

Thanks
BTCRealm

BTW how are your injuries healing up?  Haven't heard an update on that.

I did take the upgrade a while back but I'm not sure it was the smartest idea.  With the circumstances at the time I should've known with BFL the offer was too good to be true and we'd be waiting plenty more months to actually receive it.

I have a side project I'm working on right now that would over double our weekly yield with minimal funds needing raised.  More details within 2 weeks TM... hahaha

Bruising is gone, but I keep re-injuring my thumb because I refuse to wear a splint.  It interferes with work.

You need a real minion already...
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 0NE project [launch TODAY < 20 minutes]|0NE|Support company details in OP on: June 21, 2014, 06:12:18 PM

hahah just went to set up auto transactions on http://0ne.pool.mn

seemingly i can only set it 0 or 1

lol they're going to keep all the coins hahaha

Noticed this myself... I just manual paid after setting it to 1 and got my coin quickly.

I am looking to sell some now... looking to part with 0.00012000 0NE for only 0.1 BTC.

PM if interested.

Do you have an answer to my question about how you can consider this coin decentralized, or is it not decentralized?

This is a good question . From the beginning i think that we should consider it decentralized , then after mining phase I'm sure that 0 coin reward will demotivate 99,9% of miners and this coin will turn in "not centralized". about this we are considering that we could implement a kind of merge minable feature to avoid this. But this is not a spoil , it's just a "possible but still not well considered idea"

Just admit you screwed up implementing this without transaction fees... even if you do make this merge mineable... there will be no profit for the pool doing so without you paying for it... server I/O and bandwidth cost money. Those funds will come out of the IPO which i doubt you planned for.

Your best option is to implement a transaction fee that is mandatory, and then you can think about leaving it to be mined or update it to be merge mined off another pool.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 0NE project - just 1 coin [21 June 2014 6.47a.m. PST] + WHO WE ARE on: June 21, 2014, 03:03:18 AM
The only thing I really have to say is that the 0ne Engine portion of the project is 100% unneeded... there is no need for you to build a huge ass farm to mine this coin so that transactions continue. Especially with zero fees enforced... what is the point then? You could run the entire network off one ASIC because no one else will mine blocks that return nothing. That costs $100 PERIOD.

To take it one further... you wouldn't even need to have ANYONE mining this directly if you just followed the steps to make this scrypt coin merge mined with LTC... you could easily pay a small pool to add support for merge mining this coin off LTC hashrates and it would run on its own without your 0ne Engine.

I think your team failed to reason out everything involved with your plan... after 30 days... what profits will there be to pay out to the IPO purchasers without transaction fees... there will be no earnings from 0ne Engine except what it can mine before August 20th. So you get the IPO funds and buy ASICs... how long before they are all online? What is the point of keeping them all mining the blocks to keep transactions moving after day 30?

This just makes zero sense whatsoever.

you can ask poloniex to import the private key from the ryecoin wallet to the razorcoin wallet. it will crash the wallet during the import because the private key format will be slightly wrong, but when you restart the wallet the coins will be there. it will produce a valid, identical address.

Umm... since the privkey is not compatible... would this not lock those coins from them ever being able to send them... since the privkey can never validate the wallet transaction?

i imported an altcoin(the sha256 coin) privatekey into bitcoin(hung the wallet for about 20 minutes. when i killed it and reopened it, voila the missing coins were there.)

but that does not answer my question... were you actually able to send them anywhere afterwards...

If so does that not seem like a flaw in the wallet? could I not then hypothetically do this for similar coins and have access to others wallets?

its showing confirmations...

You are screwed then save for a miracle of luck in the exchange generating that wallet and privkey.

Sorry for your loss.

omg somebody r i sent my razor to a riecoin addres on poloniex instead of razorcoin address.. 0 confirms how do i get themback??? whoever helps i will send them coins!!

backup wallet and and keys and reindex ..hope it works

how?? PLEASE MSG ME I WILL SEND YOU .5 btc if you help me get it to work

Open the receive tab and copy your address...

Then, open the console and in the bottom type the below...

DUMPPRIVKEY <addressgoeshere>

the part above where i have <addressgoeshere> you replace by pasting your address after DUMPPRIVKEY

This will display the privkey for the address you received your coins on... if you were pool mining then all coins should have gone to this one address.

Now, copy the displayed privkey and paste it into a text file for safe keeping right now... then close Razor and make sure in task manager it is dead.

Go to the C:\Users\USERNAME\Appdata\Roaming\Razor folder, make a new folder, and move the wallet.dat file, the blocks folder, chainstate folder and database folder into the new folder you made.

Now, launch Razor again and let it sync... once sync is done, open console and type the below...

IMPORTPRIVKEY <pastetheprivkeyfromthenotepadhere>

that will import your transactions into this new wallet, and your bad transaction is nowhere to be seen.

Resend coins to right address.

R9QziMYQr9AQtFaGuazLvPJbZCBYAWRFGJ

i did what you said then it took -4986.73 to address: N/A
my balance is 0 still Sad

OK that means you have sent coins out before and they are either residing in a change address or actually sent because the address is compatible like the above post says.

You may be out of luck here because someone may already own that address for Razor, or if no one does yet... it is not easy at all to get a privkey for a specific address you dont already own.

What you can do now, is create a SECOND new folder... and move the wallet.dat, block folder, database folder and chainstate folder to this second new folder. Then, copy the ones from the first new folder back to the main folder and open up Razor again.

If that bad transaction shows any confirmations... your coins are gone and it will take a miracle for you or the excahnge to get them back if they do not already own the address you sent the coins to.

If it still says unsubmitted, we can still save them. Let me know.

ok it dumpprivkey <razoraddress>
Reveals the private key corresponding to <razoraddress>. (code -1)
when i do dumpprivkey <razoraddress> it says

19:20:45

dumpprivkey

19:20:45

Private key for address is not known (code -4)

do i need to unencrypt wallet first?

If you encrypted the wallet then yes you do.

Also... you are replacing the <razoraddress> with the actual wallet address you use that shows in your receive tab?

Like this... dumpprivkey R9QziMYQr9AQtFaGuazLvPJbZCBYAWRFGJ

As the address was incorrect I guess the transaction will be rejected. Good luck bigc, I hope you get it sorted and you get your coins back!!

had that happened?? it gives me relief if this is something that has happened.. and the tx was rejected and they got coins back... I accidentally sent to a RIECOIN address which is RIGHT above razor coin on poloniex and i guess they are both valid address

Hey, I asked support in the trollbox and they told me you have to open a ticket. Good luck. Please post here if you manage to get them back.

Creating a ticket will do nothing... the transaction can never go through unless the address conforms between these two coins... in which case... the odds of the exchange having a privkey for this address for both coins is pretty slim.

the real question is... does the QT still show the transaction in his wallet with zero confirms unsubmitted?

as far as i know everything is running fine with the pool. Please PM me your username or email so i can investigate at pool side.

I'm retarded... Put the wrong password >_>

Oh well, fixed now. But still only getting credit for one miner, should I make a new worker for the other miner?
Lol Smiley

Yes, you should configure your workers separately Smiley

What's the My Sharerate s/s mean?

A calc of you shares submitted per second.

@countduckula:  Brewer's yeast has a similar take on success.  Given a limitless amount of sugar, It eats it and multiplies as fast as it can...
...while shitting ethanol, which inevitably kills it, giving us delicious booze.
I hope the Bitcoin community is smarter than yeast.

Best analogy thus far... perfect for the debate at hand.

"stay were we get more return from our hardware."

Do you even listen to yourself?

How do you know for 100% fact where that is? What if all this is true, and it turns out getting your "best return" in real time destroys any future returns... then was it the best?

You can't quantify this argument in real time vs. the future, and if someone is taking advantage of the system, further participation with that entity will almost assuredly destroy any chance of anyone making the most out of it.

It is better to participate with an entity we can see is not causing a problem than to facilitate the troublesome entity we do see right now.

Why? If we get 32 instead of 22... why we need to move out of ghash.io?

If we're getting 10-12 more coins a week... not sure when i went to loosing money just to avoid ghash.io.. less is more? 32? or 22?... thats about 6000 dollars a week. Ill say we stay were we get more return from our hardware.

Ride it into the ground... or pull up just in time to earn more over the long haul?

I take it you would prefer to take it as hard as you can and ride Bitcoin to a faceplant?

The windows link for dropbox does not work for me. It just goes to the dropbox homepage.
It says to copy paste the end of the URL to get to the download.

Dev does not have any clue about posting a windows QT... he needs to zip that shit... this forum is not gonna let a .exe link fly for a newbie account.
317  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: June 15, 2014, 06:47:03 AM
This is why I run with the SMALL dogs. Bitminter is too tiny for anyone to bother it. 1% fee and extremely good uptime. They're more than 1% of the total bitcoin hashrate, so variability is at an acceptable level. If they do have uptime issues, all of my miners fail over to Slush - another tiny pool. Sometimes less really is more.

This won't be an issue soon in the future as I will have all our hardware moved to a private pool with roughly 12PH/s on it as soon as it's launched.

Divs paid finally:

Payout: 5.38986336
Per Contract: 0.00003056

Bonus: 17.50271315
Per Contract: 0.00015623

Total Per Contract: 0.00018679

This number is very concerning to me as there should've been 10-12 more coins mined this week, but with ghash mysteriously solving more blocks than they should and all other pools (including BTCGuild where we're mining with the bonus equip) have solved less...  Not sure what I can do about this, but everyone needs to realize that something is going on.  It was between 1 and 2 coins a day lower payout than my calculator or any other calculator came up with for our equip.  I can assure you that I'm not happy about this as it means less coins for you, less for the company, and less for me.

EDIT: Direct from BTCGuild

Approximate Pool Luck* (24H / 3D / 1W / 2W / 1M / 3M / All Time): 66.301% / 65.832% / 82.802% / 87.931% / 94.378% / 89.131% / 97.852%)

on a 3M time scale a few percent is within range, but over 10% is impossible.  82% for the week and the last half of the week was only 66%?

Ideas?

Well... considering the following (which is the most I can easily extrapolate with Blockchain.info) I would say GHash is just suspiciously too lucky...

34:32:50 time between latest and oldest parsed block on the page showing their blocks reported
101 blocks found in that time frame
0:20:31 average time between blocks over this data set.
Current avg block time is 7.7 minutes... which is a 23% increase in hashrate than at adjustment right this second
Reducing the above average by the new total comparison hashrate (+23% more now than at adjustment) this is an adjusted block rate of 0:15:48 ( if there had been no additional hashpower added to the network)
Given the above without added hash power, their "51%" would garner a block time of 0:7:45 or 7.75 minutes vs. the average global 7.7 minutes
7.75 minutes is what GHash hashrate equates to minus increases on the network... and that is using the last 34+ hours of data AFTER THEY DROPPED TO 42% OF GLOBAL HASHRATE!!!!!

Maybe I have a weird way of looking at this... but to me that screams something is wrong...

Wallet will not launch on Win 7 x64 even with libwinpthread-1.dll placed in folder. Throws 0x000007b error... replacing the 5 DLLs noted in that errors fix didn't do anything to help.

Someone who knows how mind compiling this for Win64?
I copied these 3 dll and it's working. (win 8.1 64 bits)
Quote
07/02/2014  09:13 p.m.           113.678 libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll

07/02/2014  09:13 p.m.            75.496 libwinpthread-1.dll

Fking nodes! Can't stay connected much.

did that, reinstalled C++ redis and tried the DLL fix again in safemode... none of it works on my Win 7 x64.

no instamine when there is other wallets, but ok

try this link
[Suspicious link removed]/mcjiy

Your windows wallet is fail... required DLLs are not included...

And how is it I can post your damn site link but you can't?

The wallets were tested in a VM environment. The DLL can be downloaded online.
Working on a new site to put the download. (yay blocked everywhere)

Yet I seemed perfectly able to post the link...

Also... you need to include the DLLs in a zipped file instead of making 64 bit users hustle through a minGW64 download... how hard is that?
