301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto is alive? Today he posted on p2p foundation. Your opinion? on: September 05, 2020, 02:09:31 AM
Do further research to understand something and not all of the information we can swallow completely. Satoshi account has been hacked in 2014, it is very likely that it is fake satoshi. I'm sure the real satoshi is already committed to not doing anything on behalf of the satoshi.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: September 04, 2020, 10:46:37 AM
I totally agree with @OP's opinion and appreciate your information. Lately, the Defi project is often discussed because some of the advantages of the project are added to the benefits of increasing the market for the project because of the Pandemic. But that does not mean that all Defi projects are profitable, as @OP said that there are several projects on behalf of Defi but their concepts are different and project development is not decentral in nature.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: September 04, 2020, 10:36:01 AM
It can't be that, actually in the fluctuation of an asset, the market cap doesn't mean anything. Maybe you mean because they have many communities and play a big role in the crypto market, so you think it's safe for newbies, but that's not true. In an asset that fluctuates rapidly there is no safe word, you have to adjust for these fluctuations to avoid losing and gaining profits. Maybe now the concept of stable coin has a safe word, especially in usdt, the problem is this is the same as when you store fiat which has a nearly fixed value.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: September 04, 2020, 10:24:52 AM
We all know that we can get free bucks on these "bounties" since a long time ago. But today, is it still worth it hence there are so many cryptocurrencies like millions of them I i'm correct.
I wonder for you guys who always participate in bounties, I really want to know your portfolio's.

Pls no shitpost here for your signature campaign thing so people know your real opinion.
I suggest not expecting big prizes on bounties, at the moment the biggest obstacle to bounty hunters is the very long distribution compared to 2017 and the price of tokens which are mostly cheaper than ico prices. I only work on bounties that already have a market, and don't demand when to distribute tokens, so I put the bounty project into my portfolio based on that. There is a lot of information that we can get while working on the bounty, and I'm working on the bounty as a bonus just for me.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: September 03, 2020, 04:58:42 PM
Bitcoin has value because people see that the technology deserves value, as you said based on your research that decentralized technology, security, transparency etc all deserve its value. As time goes by, users see more on the side of the asset which many say that bitcoin is an example of a future currency because of this technology. The increased value is based on the many developments of these technologies that make users carry out mass adoption at certain events of the time.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: September 03, 2020, 04:47:24 PM
Many people I know formed a bias that cryptocurrencies are inherently risky and you shouldn't invest in them more than you can afford to lose.

I agree with the above statement in a certain extent, but I'd like to ask the community. Is it riskier to place your money in Bitcoin or hold them in a fiat savings account? What's your opinion?

So curious to see the response especially today when we live in times of crisis.
Investing and saving are very different, if you look at the lowest risk side then the best option is to save fiat but the value of your money will decrease as inflation increases in your country. Indeed, for some people, investing in bitcoin only uses what you can afford to lose, that's fine considering crypto investing is full of fluctuations so if you are not concerned in the crypto industry then you will quickly lose your money. But in a cryptocurrency or bitcoin investment that has a big risk, there must be a big profit hiding behind it.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: same private key? on: September 03, 2020, 04:36:01 PM
I don't know and have never experienced that, because in my opinion it is impossible based on this key type the same as the encryption model that the blockchain has with sha256. But based on what some users say "possible", is there any concrete information about the private key model of the wallet? Especially if we see that the combination of numbers, lowercase and uppercase can make more than a million results.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: September 01, 2020, 04:13:19 AM
Currently Defi is in hype but for comparison with ICO in 2017 I don't think the demand is that high, this is almost the same as IEO. Defi has succeeded in attracting crypto users because we are familiar with the concept of this system, coupled with the covid pandemic that has increased the cryptocurrency market. Defi is considered a solution to the country's economic problems and the benefits that the defi system provides have interesting benefits, I hope this hype lasts long.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Missing the current DEFI pump on: September 01, 2020, 04:03:14 AM
Defi has often been discussed lately, isn't this a little too much? I mean it would be better to wait for the next few months to fully support the DeFi project. Fear that high expectations can ruin something if not achieved, for some reason many of the users here support the DeFi project. Since the economic problems during the pandemic, the Defi system has more room to be seen as a solution to the problems caused by this year's pandemic, even though if we look again at projects with decentral finance there were already several years ago.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FILECOIN, biggest ico ever! on: September 01, 2020, 03:51:00 AM
Data storage using blockchain technology, I'm somewhat familiar with this concept, after all network storage is a bit crucial, considering that it refers more to security. On the other hand, getting a $ 200 million investment is a surprise when we are talking about an ICO project that has less confidence than 3 years ago. A good concept and starting point for a project, it remains only to see how market management and the community you have to shape the value of the coin for better or worse.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin Technology. on: August 29, 2020, 04:57:43 AM
From this we can see that the decentral system is more favored by users than the central system. As for the problem, and apparently I don't know because based on your thinking about "the future" you don't have a broad picture of how things will change. I think the future is also based on how much things will change and for the future of money in my opinion is digital currency than cash.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 29, 2020, 04:45:43 AM
I'm a citizen of a country where bitcoin is illegal and there's no good way of trading bitcoin in legal way and secured way. I have been trading through the community I have built within these years but sometimes I got difficulty selling bitcoin, not much although. If you are from a country where BTC is legit, I think you are enjoying trading bitcoin. But what about the countries where BTC is illegal? Do you have any such way to trade bitcoin securely? I would love to hear the experiences, difficulty you faced/faces.
This is sufficient to describe the user's situation when bitcoin became illegal. For difficulties in selling bitcoin, you are forced to use a third party as a gateway such as paypal, or localbitcoins and several other third parties. if we trade as usual we can use the market exchange, there are difficulties when we want to sell bitcoin into our country's currency. Bitcoin is legal in my country and there is even a local exchanger that has a cross-border certification as a business organization, so I can't give you any tips because I don't feel the rules of bitcoin are illegal.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: August 29, 2020, 04:36:23 AM
Just a feeling I have. It's all credit cards and dollars and shit.

Yeah, I'd rather spend the shit money and save my bitcoins, but I can't wait until I can use real money everywhere. I'd rather get paid in bitcoin and spend bitcoin.

I know how you feel, I also feel that but we can't force everyone involved in our lives to use bitcoin. Some people cannot accept the risk of fluctuation and violating regulations in government. Digital currency is a means of payment for the future, it remains the community to increase the excess bitcoin to be seen as a means of payment for the future. Besides, is it true that we as users can accept bitcoin fluctuations when payment instruments accept bitcoin, I mean many users complained when the price of bitcoin fell last year.

314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: August 28, 2020, 09:11:46 AM
Do you even know the difference between Centralized wallets and Dec wallets? Days back I lost my coinbase account and the team aren't helping, I'm glad I only have little Bitcoin on the account, would have been a different story if I use coinomi or atomic wallet because they give users 💯 control over their funds, private keys and recovery seed are important, always remember that

Example of Centralized wallets
1. Coinbase
2. Nexo
3. Luno
4. Xapo
5. Freewallet

Any wallets that ask you create an account with mail and password is centralized, they monitor your private keys for you, be smart
What do you think about a wallet exchanger like bnb? do they use a centralized system?
Regarding the wallet you are talking about, that is, it is true that there is identification of asset monitoring, on the other hand this also has benefits for users who often forget. I mean here that because users register with email so the wallet has a "forget password" feature to open their account. I think trying to see things from both sides is a good thing.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 6 cryptocurrency , Invest in 2020 on: August 28, 2020, 09:00:45 AM
I thank and appreciate @OP for providing investment information based on his (personal) analysis. Keeping in mind this is personal analysis, so it is only natural for him to promote his choice (titan coin). Investment considering the choice I think is more towards a low-risk investment by choosing large coins, I also want to add investment funds that I think are good, namely xmr, twt and bnb. Based on my analysis that the three of them have an interesting growth in the market and some of the events they do for promotion.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 28, 2020, 08:52:12 AM
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?
I think the one key advantage of cryptocurrency is the technology, gold is a traditional asset while cryptocurrency is a modern currency. So I think that's why technology is the advantage of cryptocurrency, not supply. For me, the value is measured from its usefulness, from here I prefer cryptocurrency where blockchain can still be developed and in terms of usability cryptocurrency can be suitable for use in various matters relating to digital systems. Gold in the concept of government has a very high value compared to crypto, and some people think that is true, so the value can differ depending on how people measure it.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam victims on: August 27, 2020, 02:32:46 AM
I feel a little what you feel, I pray for you. There is really only a small chance that your money will come back, you can try to trick "scam" them back with a little threat and if you can find out their location then that would be better. Cybercrime is difficult for individuals to handle, try asking for help from some people that you know who can help you for free, maybe a friend who is an expert in cybersecurity. I don't want to scold you because I can't come up with a solution for you
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for thesis? on: August 27, 2020, 02:17:30 AM
It may be created, it remains how to expand the problems and solutions you find. I often find blockchain thesis but did not find bitcoin thesis, from there I think bitcoin thesis could be created. Many users here say that cryptocurrency is predicted to be the currency used in the future, from there it can be related to bitcoin and maybe find a new system that is suitable for bitcoin. Making a thesis is also accompanied by material and you have to try to do an experiment or test, especially when publishing a thesis to achieve a master's degree is very difficult, even my lecturer told me about making a thesis which was very difficult and quite a long time to wait.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: August 27, 2020, 02:07:52 AM
I was surprised by the graphic that was made, they must be serious about researching this case. Mixer/coinjoin is a great way to do money laundering, many know that, but the truth is, there are still scammers who don't mixing but spend it directly. Based on this graph, it is highly probable that the money can be frozen if it cooperates with a company related to the money laundering place.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: August 26, 2020, 06:42:00 AM
The world is into technological advancement with high and intelligent development of digital platforms purposely to help and make human life into a convenient world.

Today, DeFi catch the mind, heart, or possible even the pocket of interested persons to grab the opportunities to invest. DeFi or known as Decentralized Finance will change the world perspective with regards to Financial matters which every household own some money and do transactions.

Do you think now is the right time to call the people into crypto world?
It would be better for people to choose their own DeFi technology path. Cryptocurrency has several parts that are considered by some people as "crime" even though if it is developed again the DeFi nature of blockchain technology will be more useful. So if we invite, it is afraid that many people will come because they are forced and it could cause some conflicts with the features of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency itself.
