301  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 11, 2024, 09:05:25 AM
Back to topic, are you all like me refreshing Lambo page to see the Round 10 winner?
Dont worry, you are going to win it and when you do, do share the pics of the lambo with us here. Grin

As far are rolling on the site is concerned, I only roll at times to attempt to replicate my 200$ win, maybe once every few days with a big grin on my face. Other than that I just let my investment go up and focus on other work.

Every few weeks on visiting this thread and a new drama has started, LMAO
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: April 11, 2024, 09:00:29 AM
I believe that no type of casino will disappear out of nowhere.  They may even lose some users but they always come back as long as there are new things like higher odds or greater uses of balances in addition to betting, etc.
True, land based casinos and online casinos each have their own specialties and each have their own fanbase with every casino itself having its set of regular patrons. So they will continue to exist and generate money from its players while maintaining the casino culture and the antiquity of the first land based casinos.

Maybe VR, multiplayer like games and all that tech related buzz will come in but end of the day, what I have seen in technology, it all remains essentially same and the buzzwords are only there to make people hyped up.

People will continue to play on the casino like they never changed a thing.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: in future are you hoping to see some countries in Africa legalis bitcoin. on: April 10, 2024, 02:25:48 PM
In authoritarian African countries, legalizing Bitcoin may face challenges due to centralized control. However, discussions around its benefits for financial inclusion and economic growth could still emerge, influenced by factors like government attitudes towards digital currencies and financial systems.
It is bad for my fellow African members of this forum, they are trying to earn a livelihood from their earnings on this forum and working hard for the same, either freelancing on sites or doing different types of internet based work.

My suggestion is to continue your struggle and never lower your voice against such governments. Eventually they will forced to allow bitcoin usage and maybe not legalize it but allow it without asking questions.

At least its not like they are imposing 30% tax on crypto. Roll Eyes
304  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: April 10, 2024, 02:22:23 PM
Luxury is never a necessity and buying a Mac laptop might seem costly but is nowhere near what luxury actually stands for. However the Apple ecosystem is built in a way that having an Apple device in the midst of non-Apple devices will lead to a lot of problems when transferring from one to another, which is a deliberate thing that their devs have created.

Anyway, being able to control your own spending is a boon and most people cannot achieve this. If you ever feel that you spent too much, let that be a lesson and eventually make your future choices reasonably.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: April 10, 2024, 02:17:23 PM
Is this not a wasting of time? Although it could be a good way for beginners to learn about some gambling strategies without risking money but this doesn't necessarily replicate the emotional aspect of real gambling. The moment real money is involved, people's behavior can not be controlled again. I see it as a waste of time because there is no real money to be won even if you got it right on paper and sports games are not computer based games where you expect the event to repeat itself.
I appreciate your point and indeed as long as no real money is involved the impact of the game is less understood as compared to wagering money on a casino and then eventually losing it. What I feel is that it can make the person aware of how the game works and that is almost everything about it. Paper-trading on the other hand might be something that every trader needs to do in order become a future trader and not someone who goes FOMO.

It may help in diagnosing those who are prone to getting addicted, but I might be thinking longshot, professionals in these fields might have a better opinion about further research.
306  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ JacksClub.io ✨ Daily Contest with Amazing Prices | VIP Rewards | Free Faucet on: April 10, 2024, 02:10:20 PM
After losing on Round 16, I managed to win again on round 17, however it was sad to see that some of the my fellow mates on the forum could not qualify for the prize because of the minimum wagering requirement on the site. Please do get that hurdle down and come back to winning more from these predictions contests, they are free to enter and happening every week with generous rewards.

Congratulations to all those who won a prize this round, it was tough getting the correct prediction in with bitcoin swinging up and down, but thankfully we leaned on the correct side.

Edit: what I meant to say is that the participants should get these requirements completed asap and get back to these games again. Nothing against jacksclub.io, someone might misinterpret my statement.
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How far can BTC go before halving? on: April 09, 2024, 04:57:41 PM
You will be correct in multiple times because the cycles continue and people keep using the swings to make money. Another all-time-high is coming? Let it comes and we can take advantage of the price.

The halving usually sees a lot of different trends in the price. Sometimes it goes up and sometimes after the halving the price goes up. But it is not certain and thus we have some prediction games for that going on too. Grin

For now just wait till the drop stabilizes because after having dropped from 72k a lot of trading is happening.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 09, 2024, 04:42:04 PM
It is a good asset but the chances of spending it for daily necessities are limited in terms of the country you live in, their legal status and the availability of merchants accepting crypto.

You might even be forced to hold and not spend bitcoin because of no merchants accepting it or the government having backward policies.

Hence use fiat to spend all daily needs and store bitcoin in the background. You never know when the price of bitcoin touches 100k USD and then you will regret not having bought crypto at lower or sold early. Most of the users of this forum are hodlers and hence this sentiment and not the other will face a lot of support.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: April 09, 2024, 04:20:43 PM
And for anyone who is treating gambling as his major source of income will always be lacking behind because gambling takes money away from a gambler than it gives in money to the gamblers pocket, since we all understand that this is only means of having fun and being entertained, there have been so many who have wrongly interpreted what this gambling form of entertainment serves, instead they are taking it for something else.
Most people go to casinos to make money. It can in the form of "trying it out for the first time" to "winning back yesterdays loss" and thus the vicious cycle continues from newbie gamblers to addicted veteran gamblers. The reason why people dont want to earn money is that the rest of the methods are energy consuming and need physical or mental work, which they are not willing to use, only to learn their folly in the long run.

So dont treat gambling as an income, you will lose and you will win, only to lose that money too. Grin
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shocking rate of women interested in gambling. on: April 09, 2024, 04:15:58 PM
I don't intend to discriminate but from many angles, women probably let their emotions run wild more easily than men, it feels like their instinct is to be sensitive and emotionally vulnerable. In addition, in many countries that often prioritize women, many women have a good husband as well as very good family conditions, and they tend to focus on family and housework, spending time on beauty and other topics, in which gambling is also an ideology, it is not surprising that many women spend a huge amount of money on this activity.
It is true from many angles and many women have the habit of spending that is likened to the same dopamine surge that gambling and drugs give as shopping does. Hence these people are more likely to gamble and get addicted after a few days of playing. This is detrimental to the person and their family if they have any, because women carry an immense role in the upbringing of their children.

I am sure the ones who are playing may be responsible about their money but problems do arise and thus the self-moderation should be strict.

313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the HERO we never knew we needed on: April 08, 2024, 01:23:34 PM
My question to us right now do you think Bitcoin will eventually erase the commercial banking sector???
No and the answer is no always.

The same question has been asked many times in this forum. Banking system and bitcoin might seem to be opposite of one another but we cannot survive without the banks because the economy is intimately connected to it and remote from bitcoin. Unless something huge happens bitcoin is not going to become the "cash" of the economy but fiat will.

Maybe in the next 100years, drastic shift will happen, but we can only speculate on that.

The more likely scenario is that bitcoin and banks working hand in hand to maintain a much evolved economy.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION, A MOTIVATION TO INVEST IN CRYPTOFASHIONS on: April 08, 2024, 01:20:38 PM
Inflation exists and fiat will gradually get devalued with time making our savings less valued from what they are today. But that does not necessarily mean that inflation is always bad. On the other hand deflation has its pros and cons too, you can buy bitcoin today but how can you sell it to buy what you need if you are only looking to increase its price (through deflation) in the long run?

These things need to be balanced to be maintain the economy. From our perspective, keep collecting bitcoin and saving fiat, we dont know what the future holds for anybody.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: April 08, 2024, 01:14:47 PM
Don't fall for lesser sector because gambling generates huge profits. Elderly people have very few knowledge in the system, don't jeopardize their golden opportunities of winning due to the heavy presence of beginner's luck.
Beginners luck is not heavy, but chance of getting addicted in large. Indeed with elderly people having increased free time after retirement, eventually may fall prey of the addictive casino games. Of course they might be knowledgeable but lack of control would mean easily getting addicted or getting scammed by someone on such sites because casino chat boxes are full of scammers as well.

The best way to prevent such loss of money is to observe their online habits and keep them active offline.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: April 08, 2024, 12:55:56 PM
They seem to be bringing the multiplayer aspect of gaming to gambling. While there is no issue to this till you introduce the monetary aspect of it, more awareness needs to spread about how gambling is an addiction and a pathological one which is difficult to cure once it sets in. Bring in competition in the game and anyone will get addicted to it because it is human nature to show their own power in front of others. Casinos have been trying to glorify the top players on their leaderboards like this in last decade.

It all comes down to self-control and discipline. For those who are having good control over their urges will always survive over the rest.

318  Local / India / Re: [February 2024 Update] Indian Board activity on Bitcointalk on: April 07, 2024, 10:17:51 AM
I will not be active anymore on the local board as I feel this board is now being controlled by non Indians.
Sorry to hear that, I hope you are doing well after having suffered a ban from the community. I have been banned on other sites and I know how it feels coming back to the site after that.

Reminds me of the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" - a classic movie indeed.

But I hope you change your mind and come back to the section soon, your efforts never go in vain if you are consistent and determined in what you do.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Dead? on: April 07, 2024, 10:14:54 AM
Some people around me still call Bitcoin a scam. Lol, I don't want to spend time explaining it to them anymore. Let them live with their opinion like that when the world is changing. I don't see anything called a scam lasting for many more years like that.
Let people say what they want because they have a mouth and a keyboard and speech is never going to be taxed. Grin

We are one men armies here, trying to make some money in between our daily lives and if bitcoin is helping us let us make the most of it rather than listening to naysayers, be responsible when you invest and dont invest more than you can lose and you should be fine.

Let bitcoin be dead to them because we will dump on their heads when the price increases and they want to buy bitcoin.
320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump Bitcoin over $70,000! on: April 07, 2024, 10:13:06 AM
Those who invested some amount in Bitcoin during the year of 2023 will be in more profit because that time the price was very lower and now once again it touched 69k$ and go ahead of it to touch 73k$ but currently it is 64k$ which is not a suitable price for selling but buying will bring more profit if someone made at 64k$.
70k might hit again but I am not betting on that, I will wait till bitcoin drops below 60k to buy again. Sometimes just waiting out helps better opportunities to present themselves in the market. It is a game of patience here and not regular trading.

Quote
Altcoins investment is also good option and the risk can be overcome if Ethereum, BNB, Solana and some top coins become our preference. Taking risk in case of altcoin is necessary because if we avoid top coins then we cannot get  profit by choosing low value coin that disappear after one dump.
I would not venture beyond the top five coins, anything beyond that tend to go down after a while and dont manage to come back up at all. While there are coins that might and would shine in future, most of the coins are doing down in dumps for years. Bitcoin is way more safe, this is understood from the charts itself.
