I had this idea to create a musical "faucet". We use the block hashes as seeds for 2min audio segments. The produced segments are just then random (with slight order) noise that musicians can use as samples.
I like it. Thoughts? Need to dust off my web audio skills again.

I'm keen to develop a lightweight wallet (I've worked with Bitcoinj before, so I can probably do this easily).
So that will mean a multibit equivalent for The Cypherfunks.

Is the diff adjusting properly for the p2pool? Because whomever dropped 40MH/s just left, leaving me with no way to get shares anymore, and it's not adjusting too fast enough? True. Though, it accepts the stratum-shares and whenever you find a share-chain-share you get on the paid list. We've had some other active miners, just need to make sure they are given the chance to switch. Basically, yes, it takes a little time, and it's not too bad at the moment. Just don't expect a lot shares with a lower hashrate. Thanks! It eventually settled down again. Cheers!  |

2 minutes per block * 120 confirmations = 4 hours to confirm a transaction. Definitely needs less confirmations PS: I think my math is correct  Are you talking about time to use mined coins? It is less than 120 (70 to be spendable). As soon as the wallet launched, I fixed that in the GUI, but it's not big enough of a chance to warrant a mandatory wallet download. Will come when it is done. @florian The remix is coming! Going to work more on it today. |

everything's running fine at hashfever. been there since day 1, seems 2b a well oiled machine. i think the quiet's due to most of us likin' the low diff under the radar ...

Thanks. Just so it's stated. I'm in for the long haul. This type of idea takes time. Good music takes time. I specifically set the halving a year ahead (unlike some newer coins), specifically to focus on longevity. Also, got a great article coming up soon on a big South African IT site that could get us some nice press and members. Keep the FUNK alive! |
