Check out the first URAllowance Explainer Video.

Let us know what you think.

Nice video it explains it very well.. i hope you will add some sort of fiat gateway in the future or just ad loads of partners Smiley

The fiat gateway...... This has been the challenge of the century. To include fiat wallets, we become money transmitter and if any of the currencies are interchangeable and can be used on a secondary market, we would fall into the category of being an exchange. To be a money transmitter it requires licensing and then we would have to be backed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) or have a partner that is (Usually a Bank). There is an alternative to federal backing. We would theoretically need to have $250,000 in a trust fund for every single member that we handled fiat for. I'm not a banker so correct me if I'm wrong. I'm pretty sure this information is accurate though.

ANY IDEAS?Huh We have had this as an open discussion since January. We could use some fresh ideas.

I like this idea, too. But is it only legal for children to trade on exchanges? I will wait for announcements about this opportunity, as I believe that the involvement of children from an early age to earn money is a very important aspect of education.
I think there is only a very few exchanges that have an age requirement and also it wont be something to worry about if their parents are willing to help them.
Well this is something that they dont learn in school and i dont know about a few years later but this thing will be very helpful for them.

Depends on the amounts you are dealing with, most of them don't require a kyc if you are withdrawing under 2btc a day, but my fear is that they could activate a must kyc any day
Thats why i said that it wont be something to worry about if their parents want to help them (i mean with that kyc thing), but of course the parent will take the responsibility and should keep an eye on the account.

Definitely the parents will be there at first. But the reality of parenting and homework is that sometimes you have to leave the kids to their studies or practicing of their extra curricular activities. That's why we are going to include the multi-sig requirement. The kids will set up their trades and complete the required tasks set by their parents, guardians or teachers then they will sign the transaction first. The parents will then review the choices made by the kids and if they approve, they will be the second signature and the orders will be submitted. This solution creates a bit of problem that still needs to be solved too. The problem here is, the crypto markets are always moving. If a kid enters his choices and it takes the parents several hours to be able to check, or even days, the market conditions will have changed and the kids would not receive an accurate lesson on trading. I have a few ideas though. The one that makes the most sense is to have the platform send a push notification directly to the parents device. If the trade that the student has chosen changes by a specified amount the order is automatically cancelled. What do you think.

Oh yeah the name of this feature is "TRADING WHEELS". Pretty cool right?

Yes, it's an interesting option and definitely worth a look. But here comes another question. What if the parent keeps making the wrong decisions? Cheesy

There is no "if" about it. There is only one possible outcome here.... The parents and teachers show the kids the mechanics of the exchanges and how they  work. Then after a few days the kids begin to show the adults how to ride the waves and start actually making some profitable trades. Cheesy Wink

Kids in these times are different from the every generation ever existed, they can instantly adopt new technologies and try them (also they can be bored too fast ) so i think involving kids is a good choice.

100% correct! We compiled tons of data through our research on this very topic. I have seen the speed in which my son adapts to and understands advanced tech. Watching him play on the XBox is a trip. He sets the sensitivity to the highest level and somehow can finesse his aim and control with precision. I set mine the same once........ Once. Just touching the control stick and my character's view spun in 12 full circles I couldn't even run in a straight line. And I'm a gamer! I beat Mike Tyson's Punch-out when I was 7 years old!!!! Regarding the average attention span of an a kid.... Here is how they used to calculate it.

"According to Kids Growth, the attention span of a child or teen who is actively trying to pay attention is 3 to 5 minutes for every year of the child's age. As a result, a 13-year-old has an attention span between 39 and 65 minutes, while a 16-year-old is capable of paying attention for 48 to 80 minutes."

That was back when I was a kid....... Today they say that the average attention span of a teenager is just 12 seconds!!!! While I don't fully agree with that statistic, mostly because they used time spent on webpages to extrapolate the data, but also because I have been around kids for many years. I would estimate it to be around two minutes. Which is the most watched length of tutorials and many other YouTube video genres. Times are changing. Evolution is happening. We should not resist it like a lot of our parents did and especially their parents did.

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives,
not the most intelligent that survives.
It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” ~ Charles Darwin

I got in this project. I'm interested to watch how the developers perform the business.  Good luck!
Parents opeining smart contract for their children is a great idea. They can use it to be sure that their children will have something only when they fulfill the tasks.

Yeah, I mean this project is a really good example of a crypto use case which is beneficial to the parties involve. It does makes sense! Smiley
The greatest thing about this is that it allows young people to use cryptocurrencies. If all young people use the blockchain cryptocurrencies will find fast adoption.

yes even if not this generation, probably the next crypto educated generation

YES!!!.... You guys get it. We share the same thoughts. I'm 35 yrs old. Many from my generation are stubborn and will not change their ways. So, if we start the next gen off with the knowledge of blockchain and crypto or even better, they grow up with it as part of their every day routine, then mass adoption becomes automatic.

Yeah, this project will also introduce kids into the world of blockchain technology and its benefits at an early age, and it would certainly have a positive impact when they grow older knowing that their parents acquaint them with this technological revolution. Smiley

In many things there is a generation gap. 10 to 15 years ago online and video gaming was for nerds and today you can make millions if you are good at it. The same will be true with crypto. It just will take time.

Like with the internet (32 yo here), I got my first PC when I was 14, my friends looked at me like I was an alien when I started downloading emulators and ROMs. Lol that 56k modem, you remember the sound when it was trying to enstablish a connection Grin?

OMG! I'm 35 yrs. old. I will never forget that sound, or the sound of my sister screaming at me for picking up the phone while she was waiting for Napster to load or mine when I was on day five of downloading King's Quest or Leisure Suit Larry and she would pick up the phone.... lol. Remember typing in a URL, pressing enter, then going to the kitchen to make a snack while AOL online loaded the page as molasses like speeds?

Erik Finley was 12 year when he put $1000 into Bitcoin. In 2011. At a price of $12 a piece.

I am not saying kids should spend $1000 on crypto willy-nilly now, but sometimes they really know what they are doing and the rules to 'protect' them are harmful.

I've already spoken with 1 1/2 exchanges and two lawyers. This kids educational exchange is absolutely possible and legal. I even have a badass name for it..... Trading wheels. There are a few ways it could work. The first way is we build our own platform that is like a mirror to our partner or Trading Wheels accepting Exchange. It would be connected through API so that all the data is up do date. Any trades that happen on the Kids exchange would actually happen on the real exchange just as if the kid was there making the trade himself. The difference is..... The kids exchange is full of hover pop-ups with explanations and most importantly..... The Trading Wheels. Each trade submitted from the kids side would require two signatures. One from the kid. and the other from a parent, teacher, or guardian. This way the kids will never be able to trade blindly or without instruction. Once the parent, teacher, or guardian approves of the kids choice of trade he signs it and allows it to be sent to the order book. This is just a brief summary of a brainstorm session. There are many more details

This is a very nice business with potential.
Believable activity, outstanding business, а very detailed and profitable design.

Man these damn bots are taking over all the threads. Oh well, they are kind of funny in the word choices.

Back to the topic.... I just checked out your Telegram. Good responsive team all around. That says a lot about the quality of a project. That is a big positive. There are of course many other checkpoints a project must pass before getting my seal of approval. So far, VIDY is taking the cake. In America, that means they are doing great.

BIG UPDATE!!!!
Apparently, our logo is awesome. The decision is unanimous. Oh yeah, we have a sober business plan too. So it seems.

Real Update!!!!
It's official. Dmitry Machikhin the famous international lawyer is now our advisor!!

Click on that image to check out his LinkedIn and some of his accomplishments

We want to thank Dmitry for taking time out of his busy schedule to show support for our project. We are grateful for his presence and his experience is much welcomed to our board of advisors. Our team is really starting to gain Rockstar status. For the record..... Our advisors are not just here for tokens or to be used as a name that is recognizeable. They all have contributed a great deal to our project and we couldn't be happier to have them aboard. Dmitry has already contributed with priceless advice when we were first starting many months ago. Dmitry.... Thanks for teaching me how to fish, sir.

If you think about it, just a task system is not enough for this or any similar project to succeed. The kid gets a reward in the form of a token. Now what good is a token is the token cannot be spent? The partnerships mentioned in the URAllowance white paper are a good start. Kids will be able to spend their earned tokens at a diverse selection of crypto projects. But I see room for expansion. Crypto wallets and exchanges are hard to use, not just for kids but for adults too. It is such a pain to spend or exchange Ethereum tokens! That means URAllowance could kickstart a more user friendly market and infrastructure.

Kids can learn to use crypto in way less time then adults, I'm 100% sure Grin. What you're saying is true though but we're, in terms of progression, in the "infrastructure era", I mean , important projects right now are the ones that are creating the infrastructure

Funny thing you should mention that. We have some big news in the near future regarding a way for kids to participate in trading on major exchanges through the use of a simple intermediary that acts like a set of training wheels for the kids that are learning how to trade. Details to come.

A little bit of responsibility goes a long way. Not only in the real world, but in the crypto world too. Are you planning on making an adult version? Wink

IT's not a bad idea but do you really need a separate version for adults? I think we can do it with the current version.

I imagine the kids version emphasizes financial education, parenting and discipline, whereas a hypothetical adult version functions as a combination of a job board, contract, task list and payment method. It could incorporate elements of the Pomodoro Technique as well as take a leaf from Fiverr's or Mechanical Turk's microtask book.

Thanks for the updated information, now that i've read your vision i do agree that the platform would suite microtasks like Mechinacal Turk very well.
I'm not very knowledgable regarding the pomodore technique.
I have been doing turk task before i got in to bitcoin, i have seen a lot of microjobs website some of the old trusted site that still operates are freelancer, fiver and upwork former odesk, but you need to be a professional or have a set of skills to perform a job, but for urallowance kids can perform task and earn doing so they have also learn about crypto and how it works.

The full scope of what the URAllowance platform will do is still to be uncovered. Only through group discussions and user feedbasck will we be able to make this the best of the best. One Idea we were batting around would be to let kids sub-contract out their work to other kids. This is a common practice for adults and businesses and would also help to spread the usage of the platform throughout schools and communities.

I think it is near impossible to have a clean thread in bitcointalk unless you have moderator options.

People are posting random things, posting facebook reports and etc. Well, it is good for upping the thread but it makes pollution.

If i have this kind of a thread in future i will open with mod options.

I think we've had a pretty decent thread as far as the amount of spam and fud. This remains to be one of the only organic threads in the whole forum.

Who promised a Super Bowl commercial? Regarding the NASDAQ appearance, I have only been told that it will happen. I haven't signed any documentation or bought any airplane tickets yet. I am sure Drake is a man of his word and this will happen. If it does, we will have a huge audience of people that only care about financial topics. It's the perfect venue for ICO marketing. Now, post ICO, when we are sold out of tokens and need to market the URAllowance platform, NASDAQ would do so well as a Super Bowl commercial. At this time we will shift our marketing focus from token sales to product marketing through YouTube top influencers. One influential YouTuber can do so much more than a 10 million dollar 30 second commercial. Maybe I'll get one of those guys that plays Fortnight all day and has 10 million subs to use URAllowance.
Fortnite not fortnight haha.
Do you know about ninja? i think he is the most popular fortnite player currently.
He once played fortnite with drake the musician which make him very popular https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNXhYf-maeA

I have an 11 year old boy. Of course I know about Ninja. My son wants me to hire him to promote our platform.... Under the condition that he plays against him in one epic fight to the death.

Yes actually. When we first roll out the platform it will be just the kids version. But we have updates planned that will change the UI at sign-up to be geared more towards an employee-employer relationship. The underlying function will remain the same but the design and terminology will be more appropriate for adult tasks. It will be great for Per Diem payments and much much more.

I am sorry to hear about the ETH network's performance situation, it has actually locked up some plans for good projects, I have URAllowance as a toplist now, I stay in the crowd for better days, and that they can carry out their steps without hindrance. I wish the best

Speaking of which, does the Ethereum network congestion cause any troubles for operating and interacting with the URAllowance application itself too?

Have you been able to identify what is causing the congestion in the first place and whether there is an end in sight? The Ethereum scaling solution cannot come soon enough.

Everyone seems to be blaming fcoin exchange for their incredibly effective ploy to gain volume on their exchange. It had worked out wonderfully for them. Jerks messed things up for everyone else in their process but I have got to hand it to them, it worked. I will not be supporting any company that is willing to hurt the forward momentum of other crypto initiatives for their own gain. We should all be working together to find solutions. Not holding each other back. That was the old way of doing business. Sharks and snakes have no business in the first ever worldwide community that has no borders and if we work together, will have no limits either.

What is the minimum/maximum amount you can invest in the crowdsale and what will happen to the unsold tokens?

The unsold tokens will be sent to the reserve pool for in app sales. We plan to increase that price up to 10x post ICO. This is for obvious reasons that I can't say here. If someone else that doesn't work for us wants to explain why that would be appreciated.

I also have some incredible partnership/ownership news to share. Please stay tuned for that announcement later today. It is very exciting and set in stone.

I hope we will hear some great news. Don't make us wait too much Smiley

OMG!!! I can't believe I didn't come straight here to tell you guys. This ETH blockchain thing had me all screwed up.Well here it is..... The AMAZING PARTNERSHIP NEWS!!!!

David Drake has become a managing member and equity holding partner to URAllowance, LLC! This is huge news. One, because he's super experienced in fintech and has a diverse network unlike no other. Two, he has agreed to blast URAllowance out to that network in the form Articles, Syndicated news, social media, and my favorite part..... TV appearances!!! On freaking NASDAQ and CNBC!!!! Sorry about my language but this is very exciting. Another awesome thing David brings to URAllowance with him is his friends in high place. The highest places. Ever hear of Family Offices? Well it's a relatively new term to me but I know now that it goes hand in hand with success. I couldn't possibly list all the things this partnership has to offer. Just yesterday he was in Zurich discussing banking options for us. Mike recently asked him if he could help us to achieve one of our impossible goals of finding a debit card solution for URA. As we all know, debit cards and crypto had a nasty falling out last year and there are only a few left operational. If we manage to find a solution to this problem that ends with us having URA debit cards, the rest will be history.
So we would like to welcome David Drake officially to the URAllowance team roster. This will be a mutually beneficial partnership that will yield incredible results.
I would also like to brag a little if I may. David Drake has been asked to take equity and become partner to 80+ projects. We are the first he has actually accepted. If that isn't a confidence booster, I don't know what is.

He is really a great addition to the team and will surely result to a positive impact on the project, further boosting it aside from its significant and viable features. This should really attract more investors. Imho. Smiley

Great news with Drake becoming equity partner. He wouldn't do that if this project wasn't something special.

How would a debit card implementation benefit you? I guess the children receiving the URA tokens could use such card to buy stuff in the real world but are children allowed to have debit cards in the US? I think in Europe you have to be 18.

Yes, children of any age are allowed to have debit cards. There is a company in the UK that is similar to ours but only deals in fiat. They have debit cards for kids that the parents control. It'ss called GoHenry. They have been been successful. Also there is another similar company here in the states that uses debit cards for kids they also deal only in fiat. There problem for us is banks are scared of crypto.
