3001  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New to online earnings? Go to Cash-Farmer.com on: April 07, 2016, 09:23:20 AM
So, you have basically set up this website in order to get as many referrals for stupid unprofitable services like faucets and ponzi cloud mining. How is this going to help average users?
3002  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Maybe this is the way these ponzis are lasting on: April 07, 2016, 09:20:40 AM
I have been think thoroughly regarding 2 cloud mining which are ponzis without any doubt and are cldmine and topmine. How come these website are still alive (well topmine is new 1.5 month old) but Cldmine is about 6 months now and not many people know it. I have arrived at the conclusion they are mining GPU-s maybe and thats how they can continue to stay well more than 6 months available, as mining DOGE is not really difficult or any other alt crypto which can be easily mined. What do you think of this ?

It s very simple, new people get greedy and invest while current users get greedy too and keep reinvesting. It s just question of time....
3003  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com - Cloud Mining Service on: April 07, 2016, 04:46:30 AM
As long as people re happy by getting paid from money stolen from other people, crypto should not be allowed to survive. Why? Cause it lets scammers like these guys and their followers to make money.
3004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: April 07, 2016, 04:44:59 AM
As I can see on the github, M2 testing is in the works Smiley

Good stuff, it seems Milestone 2 s close.

I m sure they really care about you withdrawing or not your BTC to some other place. They re so rich by now they probably do not need users at all.
3006  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com - Cloud Mining Service on: April 03, 2016, 07:50:52 PM
Let people lose money on this. For some, it s the only way they can learn.

Listen to that guy, he email support, they told him halving wont affect them and he still believes them. Greed is a very powerful motivator. Let them lose money.
3007  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Haobtc legit? on: April 03, 2016, 11:07:11 AM
They seem legit but it does not mean something cannot go wrong and they shut down and run. Keep your coins in a cold storage.
3008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: April 02, 2016, 06:26:09 AM
It seems to be a slow crypto weekend.
3009  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: April 01, 2016, 04:45:53 AM

Hashnest s legit 100% but they re not profitable, you simply cannot reach ROI and make some money. So what good is they re legit.

Could you elaborate that; why they are not profitable, and that you cannot reach ROI?

Very simple, due to halving, the price of Asic chips s been going down and will be going down much faster then your ROI. At the same time mining difficulty s been skyrocketing.

In the end, your chip mine less and less every day and you re forced to sell your cloud hash at 50% of your purchase price. Conclusion, LOSS!
3010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: April 01, 2016, 04:43:10 AM

Who is this and why would we trust anything he says?
3011  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com - Cloud Mining Service on: March 31, 2016, 05:50:19 PM
Waiting and preparing popcorn for when the crying starts. MARK MY WORDS, you WILL GET SCAMMED.
3012  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining? on: March 31, 2016, 11:00:57 AM
The catch with clound mining is that almost all of them are HYIP, Ponzi, so GH/s, S7, mining power... don't matter for the site owner. He just want to bring user's money to his pocket. And to make it interesting he promise high rewards (better than any legit unprofitable clound mining site). In the beggining the site pays everybody to lure more and more users, but at a beautiful day when you are almost getting your investiment back the site closes and everybody is scammed.
Lets be realistic. If you see cloud mining company which offers you MUCH better terms and promised profits above average then you know something could be wrong.
People who are investing in these type of things knows that too, they risk money because if they are early adopters in Ponzi scheme then they will profit.

This is why I recommend DMD Diamond. First, it s very realistic, do not expect ROI before 18 months time. No get rich quick promises. Second, the cloud s not striclty based on mining opearations, payments come from other stuff, including lending and staking.

Is it risky? Yes, as any other online investment.

Is it run by honest people? Yes, extremely honest.

DMD Diamond s been around for over 3 years and NOT A SINGLE PERSON HAS EVER BEEN SCAMMED. It says a lot and I dont think there are many other operations which can state the same.

3013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: March 31, 2016, 06:56:46 AM
I see no problem with Factom for now, besides the fact I d like to see more involvement from the team here. However, I see Brian s been present on a daily basis communicating with the community so this problem might be solved as well.

Other then that, opening store s been a big move forward and since we ve been told Milestone 2 s just around the corner, let us please focus on the good stuff. If you dont believe in this project, well, you know what to do.
3014  Economy / Securities / Re: Suggest me best and trusted, oldest site for btc investment. on: March 31, 2016, 06:20:31 AM
DMD Diamond. A PoS coin generating 25% interest rate per year and it s been around for over 3 years. The dev team s comprised of very honest people and it has brought me nothing but profits. No BS, No affiliate links, just a sincere recommendation. The link is just under my avatar.
3015  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: March 31, 2016, 06:19:02 AM
Damn. This just put shit into perspective for me. Kind of wish I would have read something like this before I bought my hashrate from hashflare...

@GeorgeAurea, how do you feel about Genesis Mining?

yes but if you can see there have many video and conference attended and also gone in many bitcoin con ..in live ..then how can be genesis is ponzy ..not sure still but they have quite huge many users ..

hope not they are in the list of ponzy

Having many users does not equal making something legit.

Regarding Genesis Mining, I doubt they being legit as well. Just ask yourself:
1) Why a company full of mining experts, doesn't have their own simple (verifiable) pool.
2) Regarding their multipool, which "requires deep knowledge about the mining process, switching costs and makes use of advanced portfolio theory" and "...while the algorithms are doing all the number crunching to maximize your profit" (according to their FAQ). Why, when having so much alleged equipment, use other pools; and thus missing out on all the mining fees.
3) Quote from GM, regarding their alleged datacenters: "The others are not shown because customer protection and security are a high priority for us". So, instead of using their own controllable pool, they're relying on a bunch of third party pools. Which they do not control. Nor will they disclose.

A good thread regarding cloud services: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0

So if you can see then there are all cloud mining company are ponzy ..they one day collapse ..some soon and   some late ..but all will do stop ..so there are not reliable company right now ..is that correct

No. I only pointed out that Hashflare isn't actually hashing, at least not regarding the SHA-256 algorithm, and that I have my doubts about Genesis Mining. Hashnest is legit for example.

okk ..got your point ..hope Hashnest will not come in to ponzy highlight ..

I don't believe Hashnest is a ponzi. I used Hashnest since 2014 where many cloud mining collapsed before 2015.
Hashnest offer to redeem miners and show a proof of their miners. Shortly they have launched a pretty trailer, when you visit the home site, called 'From Sand to Bitcoin'.

Hashnest s legit 100% but they re not profitable, you simply cannot reach ROI and make some money. So what good is they re legit.

What dissapoint me is that your selling your clients expansive entry coins, and cause its not easy to use they wont use factoids.

I don't think you understand.  All Entry Credits are derived from burned Factoids.  It doesn't matter if the Factom store burns them when getting a CC order, or by burning Factoids yourself.

Think about this from a business perspective.  How would they add data into the system?

1) Buy Bitcoins
-this is a non-trivial step today.  Do they issue a PO order?  Can they use the department credit card?  Both sound like a no.  result: No Factom usage.  End of project prototyping.

2) Send BTC to exchange and buy Factoids
-Doable as a business, but it would be operating under the radar since corporate accounts are not really a thing.  Shapeshift might work too, if it is up at the time.

3) Use wallet to burn Factoids and buy Entry Credits.
-doable, but awkward, as the community knows.

4) Now the business software can use the Entry Credits
-Actual business logic can progress and applications can publish on the platform.

5) Convince legal department + accounting department that the IT department dealing in Bitcoin is not risky for the business.
-Most of the world is still scared of Bitcoin.

or:

1) Use company credit card to buy Entry Credits.
-Factom, inc. processes credit card, pays CC fees, bears chargeback risk.  Factom inc. buys Factoids off the market.  Factom inc. converts Factoids to ECs and assigns them to the business's address.  Factom, inc has a strong incentive to keep the system working.

2) Business software can use the Entry Credits to publish.

Which part about this are you upset about again?  This is changing it from impossible to possible for businesses to use Factom.

If you think that we are making too much profit, you are free to setup your own Credit Card merchant account and try to undercut.  Complaining about a business taking too much margin without considering overhead means that more research needs to be done.

In option B you state "Factom inc. buys Factoids off the market." What does off the market mean? Where do you buy Factoids?

keep it up and bumped all the time

This disappoints me.  Increasing the noise in the channel decreases information transfer.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noisy-channel_coding_theorem

I disagree. Project as big as this one should have information dissipated on a daily basis. Which is not the case here.
3018  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining? on: March 30, 2016, 04:43:05 PM
No point investing into cloud mining anymore, since halving is so close. After the block halves, no current ASIC machine will be profitable unless BTC price goes up big time.

Actually, the only cloud mining service which I can recommend is DMD Diamond cloud, I have reached ROI there after about 18 months and it keeps bringing me profits. The reason behind this is the fact you receive your payouts in DMD Diamond, which is a PoS coin, generates 25% annual interest rate. This speeds up ROI big time. Also, you payouts come from various sources, not only actual cloud. It s been also run by EXTREMELY honest and trustworthy people.

The link is bellow my avatar. No referral or any other shit. Just an honest recommendation.
I taught no mining cloud is for real now a days but a recommendation coming from a hero member would be worth checking I do looking for this kind of mining investment but it all ended to a hyip/ponzi/crowdfunding it so hard to finding one that will generates good profit, thank you for this sir.

It gets even better. The way DMD Diamond cloud works is they offer supplemented and fast payouts until you reach ROI which gets reduced after you reach ROI. This means you get 5x payouts until you hit ROI and after that you keep getting 1x payouts. This enables you to get your money back and invest into something else which still earning small daily payouts. A very nice system. I ll gladly provide proof about my ROI to anyone interested. It s not get rich quick scheme but these people re really honest and DMD Diamond has brought me nothing but profits for the last 2 years.
3019  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OXBTC.COM , legit ? on: March 30, 2016, 04:39:38 PM
Once again , It's another company advertised by Cointelegraph which seems phishy .
So does anyone of you have enough information's about this cloud mining service called OXBTC ? https://oxbtc.com/

This is the same people running Zeus hash.

Zeus hash screwed a lot of its customers. I would not touch them with a stick. DMD Diamond cloud is the only one I use and the only one where I hit ROI after 18 months.

Factom thread moved to altcoins. Now we need more love from the community to be able to keep it up and bumped all the time. People, pls make an effort, we need to get more people interested into Factom.
