3001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend? on: November 11, 2021, 09:41:18 AM
I will pick the exchange where the fees are lower especially withdrawal fee so in that case FTX seems to have less fee structure so I will go for it and I expect FTX will become one of the biggest crypto exchange like Binance in very short time because I am observing their advertising strategy which is reaching everywhere now.

Another advantage is no ID so users who really cares about privacy can pick that for spot trading but to withdraw it as fist p2p still the best way to be anonymous.
3002  Economy / Gambling / Re: There isn’t a poker room you could win at ? on: November 11, 2021, 02:41:02 AM
You can win but if you want to beat the house its never possible because the room will take certain percentage as commission from each hand but they are not investing anything since poker is pvp not player vs house unless its blackjack. Rake fee is literally less in the online casinos so say thanks to the crypto casinos instead of trying to win them since you have to pay a lot and lot other expenses if you are going to an offline casino...
Even if poker is a PvP kind of game the casino still has expenses to cover and since they are giving a service and they are using some of their resources to keep the poker tables online then it is natural they take a rake, and as you say this rake is lower than what we see at physical casinos, however I can understand why some may find difficult to profit from it as the number of poker players on those websites is limited and many are decent players so unless you are way above them in terms of skill then you are not getting any profits against them.
In 2021, online casinos are flooded with gamblers than the physical casinos because even who never thought about going to a physical casino is even playing at online due to the convenience they get so the rewards are enough to be honest but its a game will deceive everyone in the long run so its a game that can beat everyone when they are making more bets so the houses are making more money.
3003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading is safe than forex trading on: November 09, 2021, 03:31:54 PM
I mean, mate, we're literally in a bull market; almost anyone's going to make money in a bull market as long as he/she isn't tremendously bad. Bull markets are times when almost everyone thinks they're some trading/investing genius. Wait til we get into bearish territory, then re-evaluate if you're actually good.
Interestingly they will make more money if they don't trade at all by just HODLing itself when they are in bull market. Wink

@OP no matter what kind of trading it always comes with the risk so there is no safe asset to trade at all and if there is any asset which keeps increasing then its not a trading asset.
3004  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not meant 4everybody on: November 09, 2021, 02:14:56 PM
@Lordhermes
Everything is riskS so why is trading almost different. Sometimes you will be in trade and the price is favoring you but sudden, the market stops and against your wish, your green direction. Trading is more than taking ordinary risk for me it's hidden risk.
You enter the market. You are in green. You look back. The market turns around. You are in red. You wanna take more risk. Your account is out of funds.
Would you still want to deposit?

If you are letting your account to become zero then you aren't trading, you just gambled but ended up with no luck. Start to explore more there is no way to have 100% success rate on your trades but its definitely possible to reduce the loss and make more profits which will comes with mkre experience. If you don't want to take such risks then you are right, trading is not suitable for you.
3005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are NFTs stored and do you really own them? on: November 09, 2021, 12:42:32 PM

NFTs are stored either on your wallet or in a market-place where you have bought it, for example on Open Sea.
Nah, they were just stored in the blockchain as other cryptos buts its not interchangeable since it has unique identity for each token and these marketplace or wallets are just the interaction platform for the blockchain.

And OP with the reference of wikipedia
Quote
NFTs do not necessarily involve a transfer of any intellectual property rights of a work.

You don't actually own the art work but you own the block where it is stored and only you own it since no one can counterfeit it.
3006  Other / Off-topic / Re: Rumours of Sporting Industry on: November 09, 2021, 07:23:14 AM
Rumours are not new for internet and if someone believe that everything they see on the internet without the actual reference are stupid and belongs to 🐑 community. And there is nothing to talk about this because they will exist forever or until there are stupid people exist in this world. Tongue

These kinds of rumors aren't invented by stupid people, but by professionals. It is thanks to invented scandals that the viewership of various events increases. Generating and spreading rumors has become a very popular marketing tool. I think that's exactly what it is like in this situation.
People who believe them are the stupid and sometimes people who spread that rumours also stupid or just doing it for no reason. Maybe people lost their common sense that's why they became more easier to start believing anything they see even its nit really possible.

Few months ago I saw that the average BTC bankroll is more than 1000btc and few weeks ago it was down to 600BTC+ and now it is lower than 350BTC. Is it an effect of the current lightlord's situation so the investors decide to withdraw their investment because they are afraid of something or is it due to the current btc price so they withdraw the investment to be sold?
I think it's both the reason , some are afraid of what lightlords status now and what would be the future of the site and also many are taking profit as Bitcoin makes another ATH today , taking the 67,000 $ level and continues to grow now.
if there are someone who wanna make sure of profit surely those are the investors and holders .
also with the business status of Bitvest and 777coin , investors are looking for other site that would be appropriate and safer to invest .
Not much difference in the price factor of BTC do its definitely due to the lack of trust of the Lightlord obviously because if he didn't came back then its a huge blow for the investors so they are taking as soon as they can and its going to be very tough task to bring back the lost reputation, atleast now he has to act or those sites will be drowned.
3008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on blockchain is the future on: November 08, 2021, 05:58:28 PM
Blockchain gaming is the future, even in bear market I believe that games like axie infinity and others will continue to do well because many people are making a living off blockchain games as we speak, the adoption rate will never stop
If I am not wrong facebook also realized this and that is why they started to involve in the blockchain environmental development which includes AI as well, as far as I know Metaverse is creating a virtual social environment so its also a same as well. But yeah blockchain is the future and many sectors are going to be developed along with it for sure.

3011  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: November 08, 2021, 11:55:19 AM
As far as I see, a lot of people here are very happy when they read news about this or that bank adopting bitcoin exchange, offering crypto related services or doing something related to crypto.

At some point I understand that people like it because they want to see crypto everywhere but the downside of this is that crypto gets more regulated and I think it losses the magic/spell that it had before. Personally, I think that more adoptions and regulations won't do any good for bitcoin, it will just become a little bit different digital version of fiat. I think as time goes, anonimity, decentralization and these words are fading away and they turn into myths like Greek gods.
It will void the anonymity but not the decentralization that is the good thing so as far as the money spend for the legal transactions it is okay and this is the only way to convince the people that bitcoin is not scam anymore.

And also it will change the current banking system, probably the central bank will lose their printing power so the inflation will be no more which has its own good and bad things but still we have to look at the evolution of CBDC!
3012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX or Binance? on: November 07, 2021, 05:20:41 PM
FTX is taking their advertising to next level that is why you even started to compare it with Binance but still Binance is bigger meanwhile there are some reasons for people to chokse FTX over Binance due to the recent mandatory KYC policy change on Binance but FTX won't take that much longer to make it as mandatory.
3013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Does USDC Coin Market Cap Rise Mean? (SHIBA INU) on: November 07, 2021, 04:40:02 PM
Stable coins are backed by the actual value so company can print as much coins as they want and literally the supply is unlimited so whenever there is a need the supply increases along with market cap which happened to Tether now USDC and probably other stable coins as well.
3014  Economy / Economics / Re: The Largest Crypto Exchanger in Thailand has been acquired by Commercial Bank on: November 07, 2021, 02:58:11 PM
Joining the favourite instead of going against it is a smart move that is what actually happened because if cryptocurrencies still exists for another 10 years or so most of the banks in this world will be closed by that time due to lack kf transactions and customers so they are finding the ways now to work alongside cryptocurrency payments.
3015  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed will shrink liquitity on: November 07, 2021, 03:44:59 AM
They decided to pull back the stimulus or printed money during pandemic by their retreat policy which is actually decided but yet to be made if I am not wrong so they will cut down 10 billion every month for the a year or so to boost the recovery and stop the inflation hike but they never going to stop printing the money.
3016  Other / Meta / Re: Is "Scam accusation" board utilizing effectively? on: November 07, 2021, 02:48:10 AM
Certainly people can save themselves with such threads like a Google search made related to that airdrop will give that scam accusations threads as a result, maybe a childboard can solve the issue you are talking about but taking down airdrop scam threads will encourage scammers to do it more.
3017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Country restriction and use of vpn or tor on: November 06, 2021, 04:18:20 PM
Most of the gambling sites have restrictions over certain countries from registering there due to their licence and regulations but nit many gambling sites are still allowing the Tor or atleast the usage of VPN until the user is not using it to bypass any restrictions amd they just use it for privacy concerns. You can ask many gambling site owners or representatives of bitcointalk they let the people to access site via VPN but they will be monitored for any shady activities continuously.
3018  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] If this happens, is it time to sell your Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2021, 03:16:39 PM
With some people starting to talk about double tops and calling Bitcoin’s ATH in the rear view, do you think it’s time to sell if we don’t see the stock to flow $100K target hit in December?

With other bubbles in 2013 & 2017 being in December, do you sell next month no matter what happens?

Is it different this time? Will there be no bear market?

$100K is too much to ask in very short time, I am just fixed with the $66K itself as the all time high kf this year and cashed out some amount in the second quarter itself now its time to hold so I am not someone who is always looking at the December because its not going to work all the time, just act accordingly to the market situation and reap your profits on time.
3019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 Vs 2021 on: November 06, 2021, 01:39:02 PM
For all those preparing for the last bull run cycle what makes you think that things will work out exactly as that of 2017? Many are expecting bear market in 1st quarter of 2022 if there is anything that have surprised me since stock was a thing in my life it's cryptocurrency, things might work out differently this time
History will repeat but its not going to repeat exactly in the same way so you can't expect the bear market just like in 2018, it will differ for sure in someway but the only thing is even if the price fell still it will increase and the raise will be above from the previous level.
3020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the fastest way to grow wealth in our present world of digital currency? on: November 06, 2021, 12:16:18 PM
Caution: cryptocurrency is not a quick rich scheme

People who thought that they can double their money in the next few months took loans and invested on cryptocurrency but what happened they lost the cryptocurrency value and also their life so never assume that its an investment unless you are ready to lose the capital completely.

No matter how many times we say or write this thing, people won't understand that. Crypto is seen by many people as a scheme to get rich overnight, just like OP is asking. IMO the only way to get rich ( not necessarily quick) is HODL i.e. you take your positions and then wait for target price to be reached. Hodling is ignored and not liked since it takes time.
What you say is right, especially in this year as from the first month, people see many of them are making a profit from crypto and that attract the others to invest their money in crypto just to expect they will make big money in the short term.
If they know the process, I doubt they will survive in crypto and make money from crypto.
They need to change their mindset that nothing will give a quick result because everything will have a process before achieving what we want.
Sometimes we fail in the middle of our journey, but we can succeed someday if we do not give up.
Making money is not always meant to be we're rich, we can call someone as rich only when they are making money consistently so its a long process as you said so no one should think that they doubled their altcoin investment once in a short time can't expect to be happen like that in the every occasion.
