Litecoin do have a large community and miners behind it but it in no sense is going forward.
Litecoin is a dying coin and whoever does try to pump it in whatever amount, it should never be considered a investment option.

It depends on how you calculate it.
The number of cryptocurrencies are ever increasing while the total marketcap is fluctuating.
This behavior presents a decreasing trend of overall price of the average coin.
We are still moving towards the bottom.

Any money related sector that is unregulated would surely be a heaven for scammers. Scam ICOs has undermined the credential of a legit ICO.
The only solution would be regulations at the state level. Just like any other company issuing an IPO, and ICO should also have similar criteria for a company to achieve before issuing an ICO. No investment are safe investment but there should be a difference between investment and gambling.

This is indeed done not to earn anything for the EOS but to minimize the spam of the network and wallets. They learned from the fate of Ethereum wallet and Stellar countered most of Ethereum drawback with paid wallet and trustline. EOS seems to be doing something similar to stellar.

Burning would be better for investors while dividend would be better for the issuer. Dividend would add no constrain on the company while may add some on market by increasing the supply. Burning requires the company to buy back tokens which would directly lead to price rise.

It's just the crypto bubble that made blockchain a bitter experience for most of it's initial users.
Blockchain technology is extensively being researched by every powerful companies and governments to implement it to solve problems in different sectors.

One of the largest con of DEX is difficult GUI and high fees at current time.
Both of it along with liquidity and volume problems would be solved with increased user knowledge and competition between DEX.

It's a decentralized exchange and there are a lot of them. And most of them allow users to add any tokens they want to trade and that's the beauty of it.
Restricting users to exchange their tokens is in no way good to the project. The exchange economics doesn't affect the project in any way and if the investors believe in the project, it would also not affect the investor.

We have seen a decreasing trend till the Chinese new year and a boost in price after that as a lot of mining and trading comes from Chinese community and they sell crypto to get money for the festival. And the festival lies on mid march. So, It would be at least the late March.

Ethereum is having a lot of improvements in its blockchain which is leading itself to remain the king of utility based coin.
Ethereum is general is also a signal of market movement as current market is heavily based on ICOs and ICO tokens.

There are no such thing as protecting the market and investors from manipulation of whales.
Stocks market, one of the oldest economic market and heavily regulated by government affiliated agencies is still largely affected by manipulation and movements of whales. Crypto market on the other hand is still in its infancy.

This depression has gone long enough and old investors are losing their patience. And new investors are afraid to jump in.
With a lot of bad news coming recently, you can't aspect much on the first quarter of 2019. There can be some good news after the chinese new year.

You would not succeed unless you get make profit on your investment. And buying something and waiting for 10s of years to book a profit is not patience but stupidity. Value of money decreases over time.

You made good choices there. But if I were you I'd buy something else in place of Waves. Something like NEM, Stellar or even Cardano would be much better than Waves in long term.

Garbage coins and tokens would die. There would be no one to trade them even in a DEX and people would change their wallets to get rid of such garbage tokens. For coins, there would no one be mining or staking and would take forever for a transaction.

Hard fork creates a new branch of blockchain.
Whether there would be two different coins or just one depends on whether the old branch is continued by someone or left.
In the past, when ETH forked itself, a group of developers and miners stick with the old branch and named it ETC.
But the recent hardforks (multiple of) from ETH devs are for improving the ETH blockchain and there are no one in favor of continuing the old chain.
