PowerColor RX560-4GB Mining Card OEM -- stock speed 275 H/s out of the box.

Mining BIOS for the PowerColor RX560-4GB mining card OEM with hybrid Samsung/Hynix VRAM.

350 H/s @ 30W(gpuz) XMR

PowerColor RX560-4GB (hybrid Samsung/Hynix) Mining BIOS

Update:

I've got the card hashing at 386 H/s on HYNIX cards!

PowerColor RX560-4GB (Hynix only!) Mining BIOS

Update 2:

Tested under Ubuntu 16.04 & driver 17.30 and I'm getting 398 H/s however the mainboard is newer on this rig.

Some issues with these cards I'm finding, the cards seem incompatible with the asrock H110 btc pro board and I can only get 4 of them to work together on a gigabyte 990 ud3 board.

Update 3:

After many hours of failure I found what works...

Under Ubuntu 16.04 you will need the following to make these cards work:

   1. amdgpu-pro-fans -- https://github.com/DominiLux/amdgpu-pro-fans   <--- set fans to 80%
   2. ROCm 4.11 kernel -- https://rocm.github.io/ROCmInstall.html   <--- you're totally screwed on these cards without this.
   2(a). GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9"   <--- for mining ETH & ETC.

   *** 404 H/s ***

Under Windows 10-64bit you will need:

    1. To hack the Windows driver signatures. --  atikmdag-patcher.7z.uue

Update 4:

These PowerColor cards suck. I got an Asus RX550-4GB that does 400 H/s @ 45W stock but the amdgpu-pro opencl is broken and windows has an 8 GPU limit. Sad I want to run these cards under Linux!!!!

Vod is a massive loser, I've answered every fucking question imaginable these 400 pages (I guess that makes Vod the liar when he claims I don't answer questions). I don't have all the answers and probably not all my answers are correct but I'm certainly not lying. The Earth is flat and motionless and there is a massive conspiracy hide it and that's what I believe and that's the truth.

He's also a fat piece of shit who abuses the BCT trust systen whenever he gets BTFO'd or sombody disagrees with him. His tagging of nomad as a scammer is really out of line when nomad has done nothing to rip anybody off or scam anybody.

FUCK YOU VOD!

Seasons change as the Sun's orbit changes, it moves in a yearly cycle between the tropic of capricorn and the tropic of cancer.

On a flat earth, all areas still receive the same amount of sunshine and heat, don't they?

Why is there an ice field all along the edge, then no ice, then ice in the center of flat earth?

 Smiley

The Sun orbits in a circle and oscillates between the tropics, it never gets close enough to the north pole or the Antarctic circle to melt the ice.

Questions about the seasons on flat earth:

Seasons change as the Sun's orbit changes, it moves in a yearly cycle between the tropic of capricorn and the tropic of cancer.

Questions about the stars on flat earth:

In the south as one passes the equator heading towards the Antarctic circle the stars seen change, this I suspect is caused by the dome and it's reflective properties distorting the light and creating star configurations such as the southern cross.

Gleaned from the Net (which I believe the Net is a figment of the imagination, as do my followers on social media):

Quote
Engineers must understand gravitational attraction when they design scales, elevators, airplanes, bridges and dams.

Here's a test: Design a bridge [on paper] that spans a formidable river sans the use of gravity in any equations therewithin. Do that, I'll forego delivery this now-warm beer to base camp.

I can say the bridge displaces the atmosphere and the atmosphere reacts with a downward force on the bridge and calculate all of the forces needed to keep the bridge erect. In fact my method will yield better results as the bridge is being pushed on not pulled on.

By arguing that there is no gravity I'm arguing that the forces an object experiences have another cause other than what the unproven theory of gravity claims.

I see you guys are having lots of fun with your new Vegas, I took a different route and got powercolor Rx460 4gb "mining" cards. The fucking things are incompatible with my new H110 pro btc+ "mining" main board. To add insult to injury these assholes put both samsung and hynix ram together in the same card. *facepalm*

RX570/580 FTW!

Ouch, nice someone took the bullet on these so we don't have to.

Also if you're thinking about the RX550 forget it, OpenCL is broken under Linux and AMD refuses to release working drivers. OpenCL works under Windows but the drivers are so unstable I had to set the card aside, it's a paper weight now. Too bad cause the power useage on this card is amazing.

Issues with Vega 56:

Blockchain drivers lockup if attempting to mine with more than 1 card.
Blockchain drivers crash dual mining.

Using 17.9.2:
Can be bios modded with Vega 64 bios, however this makes mining slower slightly, and changing mem clock has no effect.
Slightly slower than blockchain drivers, but works better, and can dual mine.
Lowering power limit or dual mining without raising ~+20 makes mem constantly throttle to 700MHz.
Setting voltage doesn't really seem to affect power usage at all.
Clockspeed seems to have 0 impact on power usage, very little impact dual mining.
Setting clockspeed doesn't set at a fixed speed, it somewhat affects it, but it has a mind of its own.
Mem can be set ~950MHz, possibly up to ~980MHz.
CM 9.8 slightly faster ETH it seems.
Best profit seems dual mining ~34.5MHz ETH, 140MHz LBRY, +20% power, 1300 core, 9xx voltage.

Anyone have anything to add or suggestions?

Well my findings are the opposite, vega 56 with moded bios can do 42-43Mhs. I can't measure the power consumption. Also the 64bios can let you clock the memory on the 56 to 1100Mhz.
Dual-mining  works fine with all drivers.

Setting lower voltages in wattman seems to lower the power consumtion, but I relly can't test much without a damned watt-o-meter.
vega 56 43.7 mhs 155watt at the wall, 1600 hs xmr

Gonna have to do better than that, I'll get more RX460s and stack 'em! Cheesy

Reap what you sow, buffoon.

Really, how do my beliefs regarding the Bible and the Earth make me untrustworthy or a liar? Fucking faggot piece of shit!

This is blatant abuse of the trust system.

Has anybody bothered to mod their Vega BIOS instead of messing with the software drivers and miner config? Memory straps, GPU underclock, VRAM overclock and Voltage offset lowered?

Wolf has posted enough info to go at it with the hex editor.

I got my first negative trust feedback rating today, it's my only negative feedback rating submitted in all these years. The only one and it's based on somebodies fucking option of flat earth in an off-topic post. Vod has given me negative feedback without any kind of proof or reference.

The Vega is an R9, AMD cheesed it out on this one.

RX Vega 56 is great card for 2K gaming - UV and OC (223watts) makes it up to 18% faster than GTX 1070.

You can fault the GPUs gaming performance. Mining wise, it is nothing special and comes with lots of extra work.

It is selling really well to PC Gamers and lots of 2K freesync monitors are being sold on its performance advantage over the GTX 1070.

I'm not claiming the R9 and its relatives aren't really awesome gaming cards (they are), it's that power draw combined with the price tag that makes mining with them questionable. They're not next-gen tech like the RX480/580 IMO.

Hey Vod, go fuck yourself dude.

^^^ Nice try faggot but Canon has encrypted digital signatures in their cameras if you need proof that can stand up in court. Also there are liberally millions of photos of the Suns rays diverging out there from a million different sources, the claim of forgery holds no water just like the surface of a globe.

Just like there are millions of photos and videos showing the earth is round. If I find a photo done with cannon of the round earth you will believe it?

I didn't just say millions of pictures, I said millions of sources faggot. NASA gets billions of tax dollars and a million Photoshop images are cheap as hell.
