... the judge is an idiot if he doesn't spend 5 minutes looking at the MIT license to know it is a spurious, vexatious lawsuit that is exploiting his court ... unless he's somehow in on the scam
The judge followed precedent and did what was expected. Its not a failing on his part so much as the UK legal system. Regardless, the issue only affects those in the UK, who can quite easily get around it with a VPN. Umm so, Nuremberg defense for the judge? Not my battle. Just pointing out that nobody expected the judge to act any differently, not even Cobra. If the judge had acted differently they would have had to explain why a defendant not showing up for trial shouldn't result in default judgment for the plaintiff, and break precedent.

Now, random guys are tagging us, where the hell is satoshi?
Well now that's a great question and while I don't know the answer - nor do I know how he/she/they/it would feel about the whole trust system to begin with - I do know that trust ratings can be removed, so just have a little bit of patience and I think the situation will resolve itself. I'm personally not one to tag accounts simply for wearing a signature, but I'm not entirely against it either... depends on the context. In this context it seems that the tag has already served a benefit, and probably no longer does.

Anyway, reading the conclusions is where you find that the study finds 'no reason' to defer the vaccine schedule.
No, it doesn't say anything remotely close to that. Whatever study you're reading isn't the one that's being discussed here. Publishers are well aware that it's the 'abstract' and the 'conclusion', and only these two, which 99% of the readers will bother to read.
"Publishers" as in The New England Journal of Medicine? It is one of the oldest and most highly esteemed medical journal in the world, and their articles follow a rigid format for a reason. I would point out that losing 80% of pregnancies and the promotion of a procedure which results in this outcome are not necessarily inconsistent. It just depends on what your goals are.
Again, the study doesn't say that or anything remotely close to it.

More 1xBit sig cheaters... May have stumbled on to an interesting one here. ipanks - currently wearing 1xBit sig for $120 a week, not bad. An old sig campaign application: I'd want to join this campaign, here is my detail :

That's an interesting address as its part of a 55-address wallet. Previous work on connecting addresses can be found here but its a bit hard to follow. The main address of the wallet belongs to maydna. 4 out of 5 does seem unrealistically high as others have stated. However, I think if the true numbers were known and it was a virus causing this and not a vaccine, we would be forced to shelter in place and wear masks to keep it from spreading. Hell, we'd probably even be forced to take a vaccine. See the irony? Trump was right, the response is worse than the problem. This is just one potential side effect. Seriously sit and think about this for a minute. With all the known side effects of the vaccine, if it were a virus and those were symptoms, you know everyone would be freaking out. This is all fine though, because it's all part of the plan...
Aren't you the slightest bit ashamed spreading lies about a topic like this? BADecker is a disgrace and he's here to make bitcoiners look bad, but he's not a forum treasurer, so what are you doing exactly? If you read the abstract you would have realized the study found no difference between vaccinated and unvaccinated mothers. It's right in the abstract. That's the "beginning" if you didn't know. Although not directly comparable, calculated proportions of adverse pregnancy and neonatal outcomes in persons vaccinated against Covid-19 who had a completed pregnancy were similar to incidences reported in studies involving pregnant women that were conducted before the Covid-19 pandemic. Let me break this down into simpler terms for you: There is no statistical difference in rates of negative events during childbirth between vaccinated and unvaccinated mothers. All I can say is thank god most people are smarter than this.

price on crex24 have increased from 50 sats to 70 sats today and is now at 60 sats. Thats not a decrease of 18% according to my math ? New coins will always be very volatile. Hence I still really believe in this project.
Very funny. There's literally $1,000 of volume for that trading pair. There's a great arbitrage opportunity between that pair and the one with the actual trading volume ($42k, weee) of about 7 sats per coin. This project is obviously dead as everyone stopped responding here a while ago, but have fun trading their coin, I'm sure they appreciate it.

I definately dont consider this a scam. The whitepaper might have copied some text from other projects, but most projects im involved in has done the same. The price dropped quite alot some some months ago but my experience is that all new projects suffer from this. It is always quite hard to set the right price from the beginning, and then price drops as early investors want to sell some of their profits but as the project is so no new, there are very few buyers which means the price will drop. Once people learn about this project there will be more buyers and price will increase again.
Hence I appreciate that I have discovered this project and im looking forward to see what the future brings.
Have you not been paying attention, whatsoever? This coin just hit a new low today, it sank 18% to its lowest price ever. Everyone who ever purchased this coin is currently sitting on a substantial loss. As it is still close to 2 cents there's still a long way for it to drop. I would get out now before it drops any further.

Because they make it almost possible to make a fatal mistake and lose your keys/coins, which is important for many, to achieve peace of mind.
That's not self custody then is it. It's a marketing gimmick.

Dearest sgbett, I hope this missive finds you well. When you closed your last wonderful thread on Feb. 21st, the price of BTC was about $50k, up close to 50% that month alone. Indeed enough action to make the leatheriest of short sellers share this sentiment: Anyway stick a mataphysical fork in it we are done ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Now the price has retraced back to where it was at the beginning of February, which means you were wrong in both timing and direction. And here you are trying to sculpt this affair into some sort of proof that you were right all along... Can't really understand why you would attempt to do such a thing. But as others have astutely observed your mere presence is historically something of a reverse indicator, and we like having you around. If anything its good exercise reminding oneself of the big picture. As a result, one thing I'm confident I am not wrong about is Bitcoin. nutildah and the rest of the hat gang are so impatient, I can handle being "wrong" all this time because I know that eventually I will be proven Wright ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) On the contrary, I'm willing to remain patient long enough for you to come around to the understanding that nobody wants to use a centralized bitcoin controlled by a fraud. Even if you'll never publicly admit it. Cordially yours, nutildah

Dear sgbett,
While preceding reputation deems me cantankerous, I do not mind bearing your revisionist platitudes. Yet I am reminded of a saying that I came up with. Yes I know it was me because I'd never heard anyone say it before me so it must have been.
"Anyone can be right given a long enough time frame."
Regardless, you shall require not only a new time frame but an entire parallel universe in order for BSV to ever come close to meeting your wildly unprincipled expectations.
And with that sir I bid you good day.

After a lifetime of observation I have gathered that normally the US doesn't prosecute its former presidents for anything after they leave office. First of all, its not nice; second of all, its not a good look for a country's government in general. I'm wondering if Trump will be the exception to this rule as he did a lot of either blatantly illegal or at best highly questionable things as president... Not that all presidents aren't faced with horrifying decisions in the dark, but some of the stuff he did was pretty outwardly stupid on the level of being a decent human being and I wouldn't be surprised if he was tried and convicted on any number of things. https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-organization-and-cfo-allen-weisselberg-expected-to-be-charged-thursday-11625060765The Manhattan district attorney’s office is expected to charge the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer with tax-related crimes on Thursday, people familiar with the matter said, which would mark the first criminal charges against the former president’s company since prosecutors began investigating it three years ago.
Any charges against the Trump Organization and Allen Weisselberg, the company’s longtime chief financial officer, would be a blow to former President Donald Trump, who has fended off multiple criminal and civil probes during and after his presidency. But the initial charges won’t implicate Mr. Trump himself, his lawyer said, falling short of expectations about the high-profile probe that included a battle over his tax returns decided by the U.S. Supreme Court in the prosecutors’ favor.
The defendants are expected to appear in court on Thursday, the people said.
The Trump Organization and Mr. Weisselberg are expected to face charges related to allegedly evading taxes on fringe benefits, the people said. For months, the Manhattan district attorney’s office and New York state attorney general’s office have been investigating whether Mr. Weisselberg and other employees illegally avoided paying taxes on perks—such as cars, apartments and private-school tuition—that they received from the Trump Organization...

Have you guys watched this? PLAY-TO-EARN | NFT Gaming in the PhilippinesIt's a documentary about Filipinos who took up playing Axie Infinity during the lockdown to supplement their income. My favorite part is the old man who plays Axie all day every day while he watches over the store. His wife says "we pray to god they don't take away the Axie" 😭 Its heart-wrenching but the game has really been a godsend to people who really needed it.

I just want to see what the general consensus is about selling Bitcoin. The well-known Bitcoin advocate, Mr. Michael Saylor, has said that you should never sell your Bitcoin, you should hold it for a lifetime. He believes that when you sell bitcoin, you will be taxed, but if you hold it, you can borrow bitcoin at a good interest rate (tax-free).
First remember that Saylor doesn't care about you or anybody here whatsoever. He only cares about the fact that he can use Bitcoin to make other uber rich people money. So of course he would tell everyone to never sell because he is trying to inflate his investment. I don't see the point of HODLing it. If everyone adopts that mindset, then Bitcoin simply wouldn't grow in the long term. How can you justify it as a currency if the value arises from its potential to supplement or otherwise replace the financial systems?
Exactly. The purpose of bitcoin is to be spent.

Page for vareole. This is a good example of how to tell you are dealing with a scammer: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2Fg66pGsP%2Fvareolescammer.png&t=664&c=QirKFwpqxUJDCw) - big scam Warning in red at the top of the thread - selling paypal (a reversible tx method, even F&F) for crypto (non-reversible) - notice he also accepts payoneer, which is non-reversible - self-moderated thread - -8 trust rating - thread is also locked, but you can't see that from here Let's take a look at his Trusted feedback: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2FpLy7N77%2Fvareolescammer2.png&t=664&c=Aqp14ReOw8SmOQ) It's terrible, about the worst you can get.
