The problem with these transactions is I have to pay these people out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1907064.0Which is 0.0001 BTC transaction each and the reason why the fees are low is they were 10%, later I picked them up to 30% If I were to send the recommended fee, it would be 3 times larger than the transaction If I try to double-spend with higher fees, how high a fee should I pick? Sending the recommended fee would be... Unpractical. Is there a better way to solve this  |

The only thing that a gambler could do when he is addicted would be to stop right when he gets that feeling to stop. Even if there is a person that forces the gambler to stop, the gambler is likely to stay with the gambling mentality that was not yet relieved and that gambler is just going to stress himself out while endangering the people that surround him/her.
Trying to play with fake money might work against gambling addiction.
Not completely fake, there's no thrill there. Gambling in a game would suffice, with assets that need time to acquire (ingame currency, items etc.) and can provide the excitement and the risks. Gambling with thin air might not do the trick. |

I think greed is the main reason why a lot of people eventually loses money when they are gambling, it's hard to change a greedy person when they are in dire search of money. Maybe attending seminars for greedy people will eventually help.
Theres no seminars for greedy people but only a psychiatrist for those who are badly affected on gambling addiction.Aiming always for money does really contribute for most people to become a gambling addict because having this kind of aims will really push you to play gambling even more and knowing of being greedy is really a part of human nature which we can really hardly avoid when this thing comes out. There is AA(Alcoholics Anonymous) for those with problems with alcohol so I will not be surprised if there was an association to help gamblers all over the US where they can share their experiences and how they have been affected by gambling addiction. I will buy a high end pc gaming for my own room if i won big amount of money on gambling. The problem is it's hard to won much money on gambling, rofl. But if someday i won big amount of money, i will buy it for sure and give it some to my parents and my brothers.

Which wallet are you using? Atleast electrum has a CPFP(Child Pays For Parent) which allows you to resend the transaction with higher fee if you are in control of the wallet u sent the BTC to.
