I was surprised to see Bayern Munich struggling against Salzburg. Because I thought that they would win this game comfortably even if they concede a goal. But this was not the case. Bayern Munich were even under the threat of losing this game by 2-0. They should be thankful for Adamu's missing a huge opportunity. And I expect no mistake from Bayern Munich in Allianz Arena. They should be able to destroy Salzburg without much problem. They should show their real strength and improve their morale highly.

I look forward to the match between Barcelona and Napoli. I believe those of these two teams who can qualify for the next round will win the title. However, in addition to these two teams, there are more powerful teams like Dortmund, Atalanta, Sevilla and Porto.

You're right, with the rest of the squad and minimal funding, I think xavi is a great coaching candidate of the future. Xavi has made Barcelona better, if you look at the beginning of the record to date of course you will say the same as me. With a little spending funds Xavi tried to maximize that. Buying Aubameyang is not a bad thing, Xavi certainly already has a plan with him. Maybe if they had a lot of funds they would buy a lot of star players. Xavi has shown how to manage a team with many limitations. Whereas funds are one of the main supporters to support the team to become a winner. I actually agree with the people who think that Liverpool can still do well without Mane and Salah in the Leicester game ahead of them in the PL. Because we watched Liverpool play like this against Arsenal in the EFL Cup rematch. And we saw how great they dominated the game and won it. So, I think that Liverpool's current attacking line is still quite solid and they can defeat Leicester in Anfield. Maybe it might be a more difficult win but they can. I think if we look on effects of COVID on cricket, it's the Ranji season which has suffered the most, due to BTC's greed for money, IPL has taken place no matter how many cases are coming daily but Ranji and other domestic leagues have not taken place due to the pandemic, whenever they start you see some cases erupting in some of the part of the country and the league is brought at halt, also it's not feasible to create bio bubbles for these players while they are travelling, I think BCCI should try and conduct these matches at neutral venues instead of Home/Away format, it might make a bit less income for Boards but atleast you will see the domestic season running back once again.
Only Ranji taking a hit. Other tournaments are already finished because most of em are ODI and T-20 competition but Ranji is 4 days affair, this create more problem for them. Its not like they can relocate complete season to UAE similarly to IPL. Let's hope for the best. Real Madrid can definitely offer better conditions than Barcelona as they don't have the financial problems that Barcelona has. Plus, given the current squad and the transfer of Mbappe (which can be said to be 99% complete), Real Madrid will be one of the main contenders for winning the Champions League next season. I think for Erling Haaland Real Madrid can be a very good next destination. He will definitely do better with the Real Madrid squad than Barcelona. But Barcelona would also want him in their squad. The pressure that Dortmund put on Haaland could have made Haaland stressed and it could have made him want to leave Dortmund. His contract expires in 2024, but currently, Dortmund is pressing Haaland to extend his contract. What Dortmund did was actually a common thing considering that many big teams want to get Haaland, so Dortmund feels the need to get guarantees.

It is the roster that was built basically. First of all the roster was not build for a specific system, it was build because players were young and cheap and that is why they got them. Now, that they are missing some players as well, and some players are playing badly, it became too obvious.
Muslera saved them from many losses before, he has been in the club for a long time and he has been helping them a lot, with him gone and a horrible goalkeeper, they ended up being even worse on that front.
Midfield is near empty, nobody to note on that place, and attacking is not horrible with kerem and mustafa when they play but when they do not, then nobody else can step up. Long story short roster is horrible, go get Pep to manage this team and he won't be able to do wonders with this team, he would be better than this, but not championship level at all.
It is totally understandable if the roster was bad, and it is not really good neither I can agree with that. But 15th? Just 3 points ahead of relegation zone? I mean yeah I would get like 8th or something like that on a bad season, but this roster is not deserving of 15th place at all. I believe they could have been in top 10 easily without a problem. They should be thankful that they are not too far ahead of that top 10 place, if they have some winning streaks by the end of the season (which they will face a lot of great teams) then they could maybe get into top 10. Only 2 game difference between 9th and them, so they could still get there. In any case, Torrent didn't had a great start at all. I think that the problem with this roster is there is not really good chemistry between the players and in the field which is affecting them a lot. With this roster as you said it is absolutely possible to be in the top 10 places but now it seems to be really hard for them. And 15th is just not good enough for them and they obviously have to do better. They need some wins very desperately. But it will be hard to do as they are going to play against some really good teams. |

It's sad really to see most team Nigeria is better than still in the tournament even Egypt that Nigeria defeated in the tournament group stage is still in the competition, although I have lost interest in the tournament there are tons of exciting matches to look out for, I think my favorite team to win this competition this year would be Senegal, I think the Senegalese team has all it takes to do that and also because I like Mane.

I think Angers will win tonight against Saint Etienne... The visitors have played terribly this season, although the head-to-head stats are on their side! The rotations would be bad but at least teams are getting practices. Imports needs this as they didn't know well the performance of his teammates.
Unfortunately, the set-up of practices are only limited to 7 people together with their head coach and 1 safety officer. So, only the first 5 players including the imports can do that said practice, sure their rotations won't be as great than what they're used to but they don't have any choice as group workouts are still limited in numbers. Also, they're only given 10 days worth of practice before the games resume. This is why the main players should have more exposure on the practice so they can be good in court but of course I’m pretty sure other players are also given a time to practice since they are part of the team and if things didn’t go the right way, they are the one to fill the blanks. Its good to hear that PBA already have a schedule to resume the conference, wishing for a smooth comeback. I think you are right about the main players having more exposure to the practice. Because they are kind of the backbone of a team. But the other players also should be given practice. Because as you said if things don't go exactly as planned they might come in handy. And there are some great players who work really long hours to get ready but that's another story. |

It was a great weekend for not only Bayern Munich but also Dortmund. They both obtained victories in their matches. Dortmund had a really hard time as their opponent was much tougher than Bayern Munich's. Hoffenheim made big difficulties for them but they still defeated Hoffenheim by 3-2. They made it in an away match and this was another nice win for Dortmund. And Bayern Munich didn't have any difficulty in destroying Hertha Berlin. They won against them away by 4-1. The gap of six points still persists now. But it must be feeling good for Dortmund to be performing very well.
That victory has to sacrifice Dortmund player, Haaland. I don't know what the progress is?, when he needs for the long break that possibly will be affected Dortmund's performance next. as we know at the beginning and champions league without Haaland, they were eliminated early and the possible next, Dortmund don't have a sharped striker, they will be lost and don't have an executor to passing the ball on goals. it will influence on the position of the Bundesliga also. Haaland does have a huge impact on Dortmund's performance as he's scoring a large percentage of their goals and there is no one denying the ability of him in terms of scoring goals. But I have to say that when Haaland was injured, Dortmund didn't have a huge lot of problems in the scoring department. Maybe they struggled in a few matches but they overall did okay without him. |

I really worried that it would be a 0-0 game and it did happen. I am not saying that this game was deserved by one team or the other, I know that if one team wins than the other teams fans will be sad, so do not get what I am saying wrong, but as someone who is not from Italy, all I care about is my bet winning (which lost) and/or watching a good game.
I already lost, I said Juventus would win, but at the very least Milan could have win this and it could have been still a fun game. I mean imagine that it is 3-0 first half, Juventus is ahead, and I am super happy, then Milan scores 4 more goals, and wins, last one at 90+3, like how Liverpool won recently, isn't that super exciting? That would give some fun to this boring world we are living in. I mean I could just watch a boring movie if I wanted to spend 90 minutes with 0-0 result in the end.
When did Liverpool win 4 3 recently? That was Juventus who did that,,, against Roma, but not in injury time even just in regular time. We are not living in a boring world,,, if you feel that it is, we must try and show you all the exciting things. Of course you are sort of right 0-0 is usually a dull game but I think from the reports anyone watching would say it was not a typical game where nobody tried to share points. Why do I defend Italian league I wonder  To be honest I don't ever think that a 0-0 scoreline is always dull and not fun to watch. When two teams are trying desperately to score a goal and break the deadlock, it's actually really amazing to watch. But only if there is such aggression from both the teams. Both teams really went for it in that match but didn't have anything to show for it in the scoreline. But in my opinion, I would have preferred a little more aggression from Juventus. |
