I tried to call the number in the whois, it's "not in use" (well, that way easy to guess, 9995748 is the kind of number you pseudo randomly generate writing fast on the keyboard [5748 = cross]). Here is the google map location of their offices.[...] but Edi-Green has been in business since at least 2011 at that same address.
Care to share your google-fu, please?

Big question is: Why do they sell this stuff when they can make ~300$/day with one of those.
Why don't you guys mine? This is a popular question. The answer is pretty simple. Hardware is the focus of our passion. We're hardware designers. If this is real, they could have a mining farm @ 1PH ready and sell 1 million dollars of preorders in one day, deliver them and start up the asic farm.

Either a good scam or legit. We will see tomorrow i guess. We are a well established Hungarian company (Kft) with local store and pickup available, phone support, no pre-orders or holding the customers money for weeks/months. We are a Hungary based company, started developing this project in 2012 June, finished it without ANY pre-order money at all. Now the units are ready to ship, or to be picked up locally.

Cool. I can be there tomorrow. Will pay via bitcoin from my car 100 meters away from yours and you can leave the box with the ASIC in the middle of the land of noone in which we will meet.
This is not the middle of the land of noone, it is a well known compulab in Hungary, Budapest. Ok, give me an address and I will be there as soon as possible. Without the money, naturally. The address will be on our website tomorrow, as I've told Frizz23, you can come and test the unit without a single eurocent upfront. Do you have a way to prove that the testing will not be in fact done on a fpga farm? Like, deploying 1TH/s or shelding the ASIC for any cellular connections?

I've decided to ship mine to the US due to customs and the power costs i would have paid here in the EU, however i wouldn't risk not to pay the 20% of VAT and to have my ASIC locked at the customs, thus losing a lot of money while i pay to have it unlocked. Maybe in the future it could make sense.
|
|
|
It suck to pay customs, right?
Of course, but who's to say you have to pay? I'm sure most of the manufacturers will put down "gift" and value as "no commercial value" on the customs forms if you ask nicely. If not, there are a bunch of reshipping companies in the US that will reship the product and let you fill out the customs forms yourself. I don't think a customs officer is going to know what a Bitcoin ASIC is or how much money its worth. "This 15 Kg computer is certanly worthless"

Aspetta... Esattamente perché sei andato a pagare per primo con uno con 3 post? Mille euro poi, neppure dieci...

Wouldn't it be nice if by March 10th, 2013, Yifu would send all 600 Units :3? One can dream.
I have my order at half of the batch and I think I will be lucky if I receive it by the firsts of April. I think that the worst case scenario is 20ths of April.

ok, my offer is 77 BTC for one unit, shipped to canada. (no datacenter contract)
Changing the destination addresses is not up to me, but rather up to bitsyncom. I cannot assure he will edit the shipping address. However, I think that this should be addressed once that the auction ends. You will always be free to retire your offer.

Can I stole your job? You know, 300 btc... Intriguing ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

what's the point of having a reserve price? if you're not willing to part with it for under x BTC, why not set the starting bid at x BTC? This way i can also test the market, for unrelated objectives. If the reserve price has a page on wikipedia there must be a reason for it to exist ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Please specific how many units you want. If not all of the units reach the reserve price I will sell none.

Crashed within one second each one another from 2 different locations and also certainly with 2 different running times... Dosent make any freaking sense. How far way where the locations from each other?
Since that its a "modular design" and that you get a bus error, have you tried disconnecting some of the modules and boot with only one or 2 module?
Maybe the pool sent a "share of death" that killed your hardware. How funny would that be? (Sorry for the joke)

If you reserve the right to not sale, then this is not an auction, just a price inquery.
My reserve price is 150BTC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reserve_priceI might lower that to 100BTC but i don't think i will.
