3001  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pmalek’s Collection of The Best Gambling Threads and Discussions on: April 23, 2022, 06:37:48 PM
The threads you mentioned are significantly different content-wise from what you can find suggested in this table. Those pool threads contain discussions and good posts that span across dozens of forum pages. On the other hand, every link you see in the OP will lead to a thread where the essential information can be found in the opening post. I haven't taken into consideration the quality of the posts written by other members in those threads.
Sorry don't get me wrong. I was not suggesting those threads. I was telling about my experience on the Gambling, Gambling and discussions boards. All those days I thought those were only the worthy thread to discuss. Until I saw your thread I did not realize that there are many jams we have in these boards.
3002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 23, 2022, 06:24:10 PM
Did not expect two draws and massive margin by City and Castle win actually gave me poor points. So far only 3.5 out of 5 matches. You always need exact scores to make a difference on the rounds.

Betting on Arsenal paid off by the way. Tomorrow is big day for Liverpool. It's big because every match means final for season title.
3003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What websites you use for live scores? on: April 22, 2022, 10:09:36 PM
1. FlashScore is one of the best and they just got rebranding with new logo and great new theme.
Good thing about FlashScore is that you can follow latest new, injured players and odds change, and they have different domains with other languages.
I would add odds for Sportsbet and other crypto betting websites, maybe someone could think about this sponsorship.
https://www.flashscore.com/
They mainly promote bet365, and I am seeing them from years, at least half a decade. The site is very neat and clean. It has everything to analyze a team, match or even tournament especially their football section is rich.

I don't like the loading time they takes on the new branded site. I think it has too many unwanted contents that it takes ages to load the full site on the mobile device. By the way I use flashscore all the time and when I do not get the site loaded on my phone I sometimes use livescore.com

I enjoy Flashscore because it is faster than other sites and covers a wide range of games;
With new update, they are not anymore for me.
3004  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pmalek’s Collection of The Best Gambling Threads and Discussions on: April 22, 2022, 10:03:34 PM
I manually searched through 150 pages of the ‘Gambling’ board and 143 pages of the ‘Gambling Discussion’ sub while creating this list.
Crazy stuff! Amazing!!!

All those days my favorite threads were EPL pool thread, CL thead and some others threads from sportsbet. But it seems I really never looked into some worthy discussion topics in the section.
3005  Economy / Gambling / Re: new bitcoin casino system on: April 22, 2022, 09:54:24 PM
your question is too general and maybe your boss can hire a casino website developer who will be able to provide the details of what is needed to create an online casino, and of course you need a team to be able to develop it and that requires big funds if you want to be successful.
These days launching a casino requires a sports and game provider. There are many. All you need to do is to do the marketing and provide live support. You need few guys to provide support, few guys to PR with different community, spend money on buying advertising from Ad networks and other spaces who sells ads. In summary you will need to have a lot of back up money to run the site until you start making good profits.

The house always wins so if someone has large amount of money, for them it's a perfect business.
3006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 22, 2022, 09:48:15 PM
I don't know why with China, but maybe they are the ones who don't like to gamble at casinos especially for luck based games? But I could be wrong. Lol
By saying Chinese I am not trying to discredit any nation nor trying to credit them. It's just my personal experience with some of the Chinese friends I know. They are always cool. 🤪

Quote
I think this opinion can be justified based on my personal experience and some other users' experiences. At first gambling was played for fun, to fill spare time, try a little luck but in the end we had to be willing to spend more money because of addiction.
I remember my start was with a friend and both of us were new to it. It was world cup football and we were betting on USA to win. The amount was not much, I don't know why I am thinking it was like £30 to £40. At 95th minute Landon Donovan scored and that was our start with a win!
3007  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Who else got BTC? on: April 22, 2022, 08:33:06 PM
I think it's simpler than that. If you log in to that site they'll probably ask to deposit a "transaction fee" or some shit like that. Obviously you'll never be able to withdraw anything.
Yeah possible. Actually the possibilities are unlimited. I have seen many creative ideas just to scam people and they become successful. For example, using Russian alphabet in popular domain names and then do Google ads, it's like you will think it's the original website but it's just there to get your credentials.

It's sad that they do not use this skill to something good.
3008  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINNMC [SCAM] [SCAM] [SCAM] on: April 22, 2022, 08:28:20 PM
You will be asked to deposit money and the platform will show unbelievable returns of 8% per day. But in reality there's no way to get this money out.
It's an old scam strategy. Some will even give you free money to gamble and they will allow you to win huge. Then when you will want to withdraw the money, they will ask for certain amount of BTC to deposit. That's where their strategy is. By any chance if you deposit the BTC then it's just gone. You will never be able to withdraw a sat from them.

By the way, are you a victim or sharing someone else's experience?

3009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 22, 2022, 08:24:33 PM
Of course, its not just all about money in gambling, but also the level of entertainment that we also need to experience. Otherwise, if you don't enjoy the game, the interest will not grow at all. This why some gamblers often lose because they focus on the bets alone, not the experience itself. However, when asked about the best game to gamble, yeah i think sports betting specifically in NBA as there is high probability to win if you know the best team to bet.
I don't believe many people gamble for entertainment. They start it with fun but then when they keep continuing it they become addicted to it slowly. Very few people are good at controlling emotions. May be the Chinese guys understood the art LOL. I know many Chinese guys who takes it as profession but the number is very small. I have seen people to lose their everything and now they just live for bread and butter because of bad gambling habit.

Gambling is fun as long as you are enjoying it. One should stop it whenever they will identify that they need it to entertain. That's when you are becoming addicted to it. I am more into sports betting by the way. I think it fairer than casino games.
3010  Economy / Scam Accusations / Who else got BTC? on: April 22, 2022, 08:11:38 PM
My wallet was funded with 19.9 BTC and the kind man or woman confirmed me the deposit with instruction of login credentials. I am rich!

Jokes aside, who else has received this kind of email? This must be a phishing attack or malware attack. They added a space between the url so that google does not send it to spam. I think this is another after myth of ledger database leak.

Just be careful.
3011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 22, 2022, 07:28:55 PM
One might already understand that winning at Gambling is hard but at the end of the day we still see a lot of people increasingly interested in Gambling, this might provide an insight into the casino business and at the same time help explore the ideas 💡 in the mind of a Gambler.
The house always wins. In casinos the games seem fair but actually there are things like winning chance etc which determines that the house will eventually make money out of it's customers.

I remember when I used to gamble I was not like I was gambling to win. Win makes you happy but this was more like an addiction. You do not feel good if you can not keep yourself busy with gambling. Your days and nights are going but you do not care about anything else but busy with gambling. It's a one way road for you. You earn money and spend there.
3012  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashnest is a scammer now on: April 22, 2022, 06:52:07 PM
Good find @Potato Chips

If they still accept funds. Should the Bitmain account that started the thread be flagged/Tagged?
I am not sure whey would Bitmain account be tagged. If they are no longer with Bitmain then the are no connection left. As they are independent, any action should go against them only. Or may be I am missing a point from you.
3013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 22, 2022, 06:44:06 PM
Honestly, think Arsenal will run away with the game against Man Utd, especially if they play like they did against Chelsea a few days ago.
I agree here with you but I am not too confident about the win although Utd sucks. I want with 2 - 1 expecting a good contest between two teams. Are you sure about Chelsea vs West Ham? I am going traditional in this match to me it's Chelsea to win even though the last defeat against Arsenal.

Brighton vs Southampton, Palace vs Leeds, Burnley vs Wolves are missing.

Can't wait to see City losing a point against Watford? 🤪
3014  Economy / Gambling / Re: 32 BTC, RollBit withdrawal problem (NO ETA TO MAKE A PAYMENT) on: April 21, 2022, 08:49:41 PM
Solved, received the money all ok, 31.96860000 BTC.
But still sad about situation and idk should i play there anymore, hope they will solve all problems with payments.
Bloody hell! That's a lot of money there!!
I do not know how much was your deposit, just curious to know.

In situation like this, a casino really needs to make sure that they are paying the money to the right person and they also need to check that they were not cheated. So usually it takes time. Good to know that it was resolved.
3015  Economy / Reputation / Re: REQUEST FOR ATTENTION OF: All 1xbit Signature Campaign Participants on: April 21, 2022, 08:43:05 PM
I am not sure if any of those will take the chance if the community agrees to remove those tags.
It will depend on the individuals. If I was tagging the users then I would give them enough chances to prove that they realized their mistake and then I would consider changing it to a neutral. There would be members who won't give them a 2nd chance at all.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 21, 2022, 08:16:29 PM
I guess we all agree that 4th place is not actually the hotly contested position but more rather the one everybody is allowing everybody else to take. Chelsea could have cemented 3rd spot but I still do not see anyone else overtaking them, not that there is any extra benefit to finishing 3/4? Or does it determine how you seed in Champions League,,, if so, I never really know.
There are no extra benefits if you are in 3rd or 4th. Maybe you could say that you were 3rd in the season but promotion wise being in 3rd and 4th are the same. 1st to 4th will be promoted to Champions League. 5th and 6th will be in Europa. I hope I got your question right.

Chelsea had a bad time against Arsenal in the last game LOL. But still I think they have a better chance then anyone else for 3rd place. In between Arsenal and Tottenham I would bet for Arsenal over Tottenham. In last few matches they were shaken but against Chelsea they came back strong. Let's see if they can continue for rest of the matches.
3017  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping old threads and spamming on: April 21, 2022, 08:06:50 PM
Nothing against you OP but the irony is you're feeding one such necro-posters lol I saw them necroposting and I instantly reported the post and it got deleted (while your post is still there)
I did not realize when I replied to the user that it was an old thread. Did not see the topic creation thread, thought it was a recent thread. Then after having doubt, after making two posts I realized I am a victim. I did not take time to report some of the posts immediately and then thought to share it here.
3018  Other / Meta / Bumping old threads and spamming on: April 20, 2022, 06:58:06 PM
It's just for mods to check history and help to ban the user or users.

Congratulations Ratimov. is spamming and bumping old threads without any reason. He has already done it for few threads.

I was replaying an old thread which was bumped by RajaDen. It looked normal to me. Then in another topic I saw Congratulations Ratimov. made a comment. That looked genuine to me as well. however when I looked at few topic in reputation board and then visited the post page of the user then realized he is spamming. I have already reported some posts. The user should be banned and not sure if Congratulations Ratimov. and RajaDen are the same guy too.
3019  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hate a DT1 member? Or two? All of them? Post your grievances here. UNMODERATED on: April 20, 2022, 06:47:50 PM
Just what the title says. Lay it all out. Keep that shit out of Meta.
I hate you  Tongue
Another old thread bumped. First this and now I am here. Is this some kind of team work or just a co-incidence from Congratulations Ratimov. and RajaDen? Although this one is a general thread and other one was against a specific user.

Bitcointalk become boring lately?

So sad that Brentford scored the goal in the 95 th minute just ruined some huge points for me. That goal in the end killed my 3 points and i could have been so close to that first place. I would have moved from 6th to 4th but now far away,oh well hopefully i win some nice points tommorow
Something that was sad for you, can makes others happy. If Brentford would not score that goal then I would have 0 points last evening LOL. This is really a low scoring round so far.

The goal saved the day for me, and a couple of others I'd say. I'd have dropped by a few positions if not.
I already dropped from 10th to 11th LOL
