I agree with you. He is already a successful person in his profession as an artist, model, and dancer. But despite that, nothing can replace the first profession he truly loved and that is playing basketball. I'm amazed that even while in showbiz and studying, he still able to play in college leagues before which shows basketball is really his passion but just caught up in multi-tasking so the focus is not there. No as a next JMF. He will instead become the next Greg Slaughter. Let's accept the fact that Kai Sotto won't be tough anymore in terms of muscle fight on the inside area. His body won't become built of the likes of JMF. That's the disadvantage of a height within that level. It has a cost if he will shift into pure bulky. He can't do both at the same time. What he needs to be is the likes of Yao Ming that focus on good shooting percentage instead of mostly battling inside as it will be an advantage for him with the lack of tall players in PBA, if ever he will be drafted in the league. Too early for that. Kai can adjust as he's age gives him the advantages. He won't need to be the next JMF or something, what is best is for him to fulfil his dream to become the first filipino pure blooded NBA player. Seeing his improvements base from those vid clips, it's giving the fans an idea on how he'll contribute just enough space and exposures for this kid plus support from his teammates. Our country needs more young guns like him, Height and skills advantage in where we are lacking until today. Exactly. The guy has the talent and Bucks should really look into a better team up or get an additional one into their roster. But no idea if they'll do that as long as they're focusing on Giannis. Otherwise, his mates have to upscale their performance. Unfortunately Bucks has not big 3, but still they manage to have the best record in the league last season, they just have a problem in the playoffs. I think the team has to start following what other teams are doing, they have at least 2 superstars in a team and they have a chance winning in the playoffs. At this season, I don't see a big improvement for the Bucks if there is. That's one criticism of Bucks though, it's all Giannis and he can't do anything by himself, he needs someone to work with at least with a superstar caliber and mentality and not just B and average players. Yes, Middleton can be that guy, but I will say that he is not enough for the team and Giannis to get over the hump of the playoffs. So yeah, no improvement this year, the same second crew and probably we won't see them in the finals in the East. Miami might give them the same problem as last year if they ever meet again in the playoffs, just saying. Middleton is good but for me he is not good enough, a star player is someone that could be like Kyrie Irving, Johh Wall, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard, many more of course, and I think Middleton is not yet on their level. |

I don't know what's the other plan of Milwaukee Bucks. Taking care and securing Giannis is useless if they will not look at the branches to support the tree. They are literally choking every playoff. They should at least learn about what things they are lacking since the Raptors shutdown Giannis in their 2019 playoffs match.
What could be missing? Veteran support? I want to see if DJ Augustin can maximize the skills of Giannis. I mean, he is the playmaker and should be in sync with every player on the floor. If he could successfully perfect plays that are meant to strengthen their offense then I bet they could win a championship. With Jrue, DiVincenzo, and Middleton as wingmen, it should be an easy task to spread the floor leaving them free to shoot the three or attack the paint. A lot of options now, the ball doesn't need to stay with Giannis just to make a turnover. Ginanis needs to learn how to maximize every players that he have inside the court. He needs to act as a leader and be like Lebron or KD, not just poweing himself inside but be matured enough to create space and help his teammates to bring out something from their individual skills, it's too early to judge out this new rotations that they've got, preseason is just a blending part while waiting for the regular one. Hope this time they'll be able to get their way to the finals. Which means he needs to improve, unfortunately, Giannis is not a good ball handler, he doesn't have the skills like Lebron James who can play as PG. Giannis best chance to be efficient inside the court is to master his 3 point shooting, because if not, he will be so easy to predict. You guys are splitting hairs here. And as far as sitting outside the 3 point line. That won't make him more efficient, if I was his coach I'd be telling him to stay inside. His driving ability or is ability in the paint creates easy kick outs. He needs 3 point shooters around him, not him being that 3 pt shooter. I guess they have good 3 point shooters already, unfortunately for Giannis when he is trapped, he has trouble in passing the ball, and what I noticed also, sometimes when he is frustrated, he keeps shooting 3 points with low percentage shot. I just want to ask your opinion, Fajardo is the best player in the PBA but in FIBA he seemed not recognized, do you think Kai Sotto will bring our flag to success? and will he be more recognize? Too early to tell but the way i see it, it's a hill climb for Kai Sotto to be effective in FIBA. To be effective he got to handle the ball like Andre Blatche did. I have pitied the kid as non-basketball people are hyping and putting pressures on the shoulder of Kai. ATM, he need to add muscle but may jeopardized his mobility which is a very important asset on today's generation of bigs. But Finally we will be able to see him in FIBA with other popular players in the Philippines. Do you know the current line up of the FIBA? I think I read somewhere that most of the players are not coming from the PBA.
