Here are some scenerios that can cause the price of btc to fall drastically. (In my opinion, it is highly unlikely and the possibility very slim). (1) No way to trade bitcoin or exchange it for goods and services. (2) All governments of the world placing a ban on bitcoin and bitcoin related activities making it highly illegal. (3) The entire bitcoin network and nodes going offline making it impossible to even make underground transactions in bitcoin. (4) Another crypto overtaking bitcoin and value and more people shifting investment to this new crypto. sourceNo 3 is what can really bring down bitcoin to zero, am always afraid that the bitcoin network/nodes will one day go offline making it impossible to carry out any transaction on the bitcoin network. If not even the government have no power and the technological knowhow to bring bitcoin down. if government have the capacity to distroy BTC it could have done that a long time ago because the government have always been against bitcoin. Maybe they can't stop it because they don't have any control but if all country will ban bitcoin and put fine on someone who use this could be the start of bitcoin falldown. But in reality this will never happen since as long as bitcoin gives opportunity to the people I don't think government will do a bad move to erase bitcoin in the system. |

Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to buy FUN tokens with btc pair at freebitco. I bought some FUN tokens on 3rd February while the price was 124 satoshi for each token. And last month I sold all of those tokens at the rate of 64 satoshi/FUN token. The fact is that bitcion price increased more than FUNToken price in percentage since then. Though freebitco trying to push up FUNToken price by providing various benefits, but from my view FUNToken price isn't that much promising. In the long run, it won't be able to compete with btc price growth.
Why did you sell your token right away even though you knew you were at a loss? Have you ever used it as much as you just want to return it to BTC? And how can it be said that it is not promising, just because of the price? The goal of the FUN token is not to compete with the price growth of BTC because we know that the gap is huge. Nothing so far has yet equaled the king of crypto. Well maybe he's been affected with the dumps and this is normal doings by weak handed traders, but guess he lose now since he already dump his token, if he only knew how to act on this kind of scenario maybe he can still recover back his first losses. I agree on that many people is really easily get panic specially when the price will down. Well we cannot help them if they get panic maybe they invested a big amount in crypto, that is why we need to control our self and invest an amount that we an afford to lose to make our asset safe and we can also avoid panicking, crypto is high on volatility but some people still invest on it and used a big amount of money to make a big profit. Those are the people who newly join the game and I can't blame them to get panic since they don't have a risk management risk that's why majority tend to dump their coins when they see correction coming up. If they just read the news and understand it provably they will not go panic and get out the losing thinking on their minds. So that's why its recommended to not be so greedy and spend small amount if you don't know on what you are doing. |

Golden State is a great team, and they still do have Curry and Klay and Draymond in long term contracts so their future will be good for like at least 5 more years if you ask me, maybe Draymond will become worse but that's about it, curry and klay do not play style of basketball that would get worse. In the end they will be good but there are two players that I am not sure about on that team which I think may need to leave.
A healthy GSW can still compete with the current NBA rosters. Draymond Green's game is just complementary with Curry and Klay. Without them he'd look just like a mediocre player. If the GSW could keep these 3 main guy in the franchise (I know they have like long term contracts, but trades are possible) they could still regain the strength of their team by acquiring more pieces that fits to their style of play. But it's just unfortunate that one of the big piece is down, Klay is one of the big reason why GSW are succesful and we didn't see him in full one season beacuse he was injured during the practice, that only tells that Klay might be so fragile that anytime he can be injured when he comes back. Lets trust the process of recovery since unlike durant before he didn't push his self to go back on the court so provably he's fully recovered when he go back on the court again and maybe he will do certain adjustment regarding on physicalities so for sure he will do more shooting than driving inside the painy when he came back. I don't know if he's still effective player but for seeing his touches didn't fade well thats good sign that he will be a huge threat in rainbow area. |

Perhaps these institutions with strong financial power are sharks in the crypto market and they are manipulating part of the market.
I think these institutions will not hold BTC for long, as long as they are profitable they will leave, perhaps then there will be a sharp decline.
You may be right or may be wrong but we can't do anything about it if they suddenly plan to sell their Bitcoin since it's their money in the first place. But, you don't need to worry because I don't think they have to easily throw their investment just because they saw a slight profit in this market. But think about it, why Elon Musk and others large institutional investors are starting to invest in Bitcoin today instead of doing it last 2017 bull market? There could be some reason about it but why should I care when I am just a small fish in the sea compared to these sharks.  Of course they won't leave easily if they haven't made a big enough profit. However I am still here no matter if the big fish are leaving the crypto market, I love BTC and this market so I want to stick with it. Having institutional investment is because they are expecting very large profits, Elon Musk, Paypal and many more that are entering did not do it to earn pennies, I am sure they did their analysis and they know that the benefit will be in large proportions, I do not think they will go to exit the market when it hits $100,000, they can take profit of $200,000. Well we don't know. It is safe to say that they will just hodl their BTC for greater profit but I think that companies and big institutions can't risk a big solid portion of their company and just entered into crypto because of the profit they can get during the bull market. These companies know that they can get a good amount of profit in the market so they entered. Imagine if these institutes bailed out one by one and bitcoin will crash, I don't know if you would say that you love the market. Hodling is not in their nerves businessman know when to take profit and stop their loses, since we are in bearish trend for sure they will take long to maximize their profit and they will just add an hype on it so that they can possibly gain much attentions. But believe me when bear market hits they will secure their capital and profit then they only leave a small portion of profit for hodling they will just put a volume to make them relevant im the game. |

I don't believe on that mate, we know that we are all here for the gains and whenever you sell your bitcoin to fiat you must always at that moment be on profits but not comparing a long term hodler to a short term hodler for profits, so, whenever anyone sell bitcoin they must have or make their respective profits imo. It's true that bitcoin is a life boat, and those who strongly believe in it will definitely survive the challenges and at the end be victorious. We have different take upon this as others cannot take to hold due to some financial reasons where they think its enough for them to sell so that they have money to use on their tables thats why I'm kinda not agree with th word sell and get nothing there. Only rich guys can afford to hodl and most of low ballers in crypto are the one who take their profit and cashout. I also believe bitcoin is a lifeboat since imagine when pandemic times where all is in lockdown some people income has been stop and we are lucky that bitcoin is here where it give us continuous profit. |

In my opinion, these institutions are basically large money making endeavors and is not really about supporting Bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies in general. I mean they do not even care about the Blockchain technology. I do not expect them to hold their bitcoins for a long time and will eventually sell them once opportunity comes. Manipulations are also likely to happen now, now that big finance is also getting its share of the Bitcoin pie. So let's all be very careful when dealing with these institutions.
As long as banking and investment institutions treat cryptocurrency like high risk/high reward investments. Challenges can occur when financial institutions become greedy, speculating or overweighting investment portfolios too heavily in cryptocurrency. They know on what they are doing since those guys are experts interms of investments. Im sure they do a nassive studies before they invest on bitcoins and maybe they are joining creating a fud or hyping up just to earn with their investment. And they will not became greedy since they are not newbies, they have plans on what to do and they are willing to catch fire and get a benefits. |

Why in the world you think that increasing adoption of bitcoin will decrease its value?! Did you know that bitcoin supply will stay only 21m forever? If today we can calculate btc adopters is 1000 people, and tomorrow is 2000 people, with that limited supply please explain a simple economic law of supply and demand. I don't know what he's trying to explain in that statement since if you think more adoption will came for sure the value will rise since bitcoin by now is base in supply and demand and if more demand will came the value increase expext that many will get a confidence since the adoption will give a greenlight on this. But it looks like there's no dropping soon but I hope to see that drop in cases soon so that the league will be open to audiences again but as long as they're in the bubble, we can watch it comfortably at our homes. But unfortunately the cases still rising and we still got 5 digit records everyday together with ECQ is extended so maybe these will take long months before they can find better solution on how they can start the league. I think we're reaching the peak soon. So I was wondering, how much do you think we could get down to?
Any chance of bitcoin going below 10,000 USD? I really doubt it. I'm thinking maybe it might go below 20k but that's a maybe and only if bitcoin only goes up to maybe 80 at the peak of this bull market here soon. I know a lot of people think bitcoin will go to 300,000 or even a million but I really doubt that. I can see 80,000 and 100k for maybe a week or so but hopefully I'm wrong. I'm gonna buy more bitcoin here soon and grit my teeth if we start going down sooner than later. I'm saving a bit of cash, only half of what I'd normally spend, to buy during the bear market when it's doom and gloom and people thinking bitcoin is over or "when it comes out... ZERO" Idk if anyone gets that reference lol but yeah.

I agree with you, government can decide not to legalized bitcoin in the country just to punish the users in the environment and also government can choose to legalized bitcoin to improve their economy not to collapse in the country. Those countries that legalized bitcoin in their country are doing well with their economy in the country.
We cannot assume that bitcoin made their economy well as first I don't think they are getting a tax on certain individual who use this, but if they are investing on it well maybe they possibly earn good returns as the market is crazily doing good, but even we are in green zone these days still government should di a study since we have a bear market crash incident called and their economy will collapsed if we will go thru that situation if they enter and adopt at the wrong time. |

There isn’t a way in hell that someone could hold on to the entire of there btc from origin (2009) up to this moment without selling a part or all off it. Especially when it got from a few cents to a dollar. Forum users at that time celebrated this break through in a thread called 'Parity party'. It was a noted event then and as such, many bitcoin owners would see to taking out somme profits its expected. Even now, a lot of persons are still selling off at ATH even with the fact that, its only a matter of time before another high is being created. Its kindof the same thing with then.
We never know, some people just really trust the future of bitcoin and they have big targets, I'll be happy if someone hold this long from the early stage but it's also right to at least sell a small stash just to enjoy the profit because it's not called profit unless you cash it out. If I'm in OP's position, I might have not done it successfully, maybe during the 2017-2018 bull run, I might have sold a big portion of it, or even everything I have and then just try to accumulate again. For many documentaries released about people who become rich for holding bitcoin over the years theb we can say that there are people who really believe the future, but we can also see people who just lucky ro forget about their holdings and been surprise that they have hidden wealth with their forgotten stored bitcoins so thia indicates that we can still do the same since bitcoins have brighter more furure and maybe in next decade we can see more of it and the price will reach at 6 digit so best to act to see a good result in future. |
