3001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I won't bet on this on: June 28, 2020, 08:33:31 AM
PayPal is planning to implement crypto payment, that's not a bad news at all and we already have DeFi projects making Ethereum bullish this days.. that's two major news that can trigger bullrun soon but..... Don't make a bet on this, nothing might probably happen, actions speaks louder than words, maybe if PayPal actually get this done then, just maybe .......
Just evaluate what happens if PayPal implements cryptocurrency payments, do you think all the cryptocurrency traders will flock to PayPal who has a history of freezing the account without any reason for months? no way but then the users who are using PayPal to trade might consider it as an added advantage and nothing else and it will not make any huge waves in the price of bitcoin and it will not trigger anything in the market.
3002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 27, 2020, 09:10:23 PM
i am going with Mickey Gall simply because of the odds and because of his ground skills.
The only reason for his heavy favorite for Mike Perry is simply because the biggest introduction to UFC for Mickey Gall was against CM Punk and then against Sage Northcutt who was a hype train created by the UFC because of his looks and athleticism and Gall could defeat them easily but then the myth behind Sage Northcutt was busted as he started loosing against mid level fighters and the only high performance of Mickey Gall is against these two novice fighters and he lost a couple of fights in between and Mike Perry is a knockout artist and even though he is not in his best form for several fights all the pundits expect the fight to end as a knockout in favor of Perry.
3003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian government Banning Cryptocurrencies? on: June 27, 2020, 05:51:10 PM
Now if governments are able to track down Bitcoin users. And these 2 big Economies banning cryptocurrencies many other could follow the steps of these countries. Especially in the Eastern World which is still developing.
If i live in a country where trading and holding BTCitcoin could get a death sentence (paying INR 25 Crores just for trading BTCitcoin while the rest of the criminals who fucks up economy (bankers) and murder get a much less fine around 40k INR )while people who trade BTCitcoin gets 25 Crore Roll Eyes. I know the present government works on sensationalism rather than doing anything on the right track and with that knowledge i know that the present government will pursuit anything that could divert the attention of the common citizen and they will not do jack shit about traders who knows their trade and all they do is cluster analysis, break the chain which is not even that hard and you are safe.

3004  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 27, 2020, 03:33:42 PM
The Stake system can actually be considered the same as investment because you have to make a mandatory investment to stake. For this reason, I think that there is no clear answer to this question and I actually claim that investment was made while stake.
There is a major difference in principle between staking and investing, staking in the cryptocurrency space means you are helping in validating the blocks which means you get rewards for hording your coins and it is a major difference from investing as you are hording the coins for the value to go higher and you are not getting any rewards intrinsically for hording and that is not the case with staking.

Personally i am not a fan of POS simply because it is basically centralized and all the coins that are POS are pre mined heavily and it is not going to be fair game, all the fans of POS can have their view point but that is not going to work in the long term and i wont be surprised if i hear some large amount of coins that were staked were hacked in the future and that time we can talk about this Pandora box Wink.
3005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 27, 2020, 02:30:17 PM
There is another problem attached to it and that is when any of the best player is being tested positive this mean the original strength of the team is reduced and then bench players will be picked up. And something like this happens when many such players of a team is positive so then that tournament would not be played with best players or it would not be matching up to the other side strong players and world cup would is not where you would like such things to happen.
It is obvious if ten players are infected by Corona it takes a couple of months to recover and then start training it will take some time to get back into match fitness and the series is scheduled by the end of next month and hence it is likely they will be sending a second string of players and they are not having a huge bench strength let alone a competitive playing eleven and the series will be one sided and England will white wash the series easily.
3006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: everything was fine untill BSV scam appeared on: June 26, 2020, 11:10:36 PM
who aggree with me that bitcoin sv appearance has crashed crypto and it was like covid19 for bch btc and ether , and the market will get back if bsv die , its still fighting
I would like to see the argument if you have some rather than coming up with random outrageous things, the cryptocurrency market is having thousands of shit coins and they are not good either. I personally would like to have a single BTCitcoin rather than having hundreds and thousands of coins and that is not going to help anyone in the long run. There are many opportunist that are coming up with new coins and tokens because it is easy to raise and make money because it is a new market.

If BSV is a shit coin then it will die off eventually but how can one coin dying will help the entire market Roll Eyes.
3007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 26, 2020, 08:56:44 PM
I get the feeling that they want to bring Djokovic down as he is very close to becoming the most grand slam title wins. I do think that this will take a lot out of Djokovic as everyone is jumping on the bandwagon right now. The mental stress this will cause him will take a toll on his playing career I think and we just need to wait and see if he can over come it.
He made a mistake and for everyone to blame him and bring him down is ridiculous, they could have had better precautions but everyone who participated are adults and they should have known better about the pandemic situation rather than thinking that the virus would skip them,  Djokovic is a real fighter and he will just block out all the negative comments and he will come out on top, just block the social media and he is not going to hear anything else from anyone and that is the best option.

People simple don't like him and it seems Djokovic will never be respected as Federer or Nadal.
Not sure what you are talking about, people who follow tennis likes him, i am a huge fan of all three players and was a bit disappointed when Djokovic was out of form in the past for a period of time may be because of injury and personally i always think that i was lucky to watch three of the greatest players of all time Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic playing in one era and battling each other in every major tournaments.
3008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 26, 2020, 08:10:27 PM
The ones that blew me away were Dhoni's bat and the India vs Pakistan 2019 match. This proves that it doesn't get any bigger than an India vs Pakistan match in the world of Cricket. I hope we get to see these teams duke it out more often in the future.
It is highly unlikely we will see any bilateral series between India and Pakistan anytime soon and the only place we could expect them to meet is during ICC tournaments and it is really unfortunate for cricket fans as we miss out on one of the biggest rivalries in the sport apart from the Ashes.

If it comes down to only one format then obvious choice is T-20, simply because of revenue. Its not entirely possible so the best they can do is scrap unnecessary ODI series completely (Not WC) for more empty schedule and play more t-20, ODI seems time wasting to me anyway except world cup. and introduce some kind of group system in the Test format for competitiveness.
If you bet on cricket then Test and ODI are the perfect place to wage on multiple options with much lesser risk, i am more happy wagging a bet on the longer format than the T20 format simply because it is really unpredictable and much shorter boundaries but Test is perfect for betting as the pitches are improving and we are seeing results for the past few years which is actually great than a boring draw.
3009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Advantages of Bitcoin Recognized by Land Rover on: June 26, 2020, 06:06:55 PM
This is still pretty cool even if it was only a basic mention of bitcoin. Not to mention Land Rovers are awesome cars.
Hope you are aware that the parent company of Land Rovers is not just a car company but it is much bigger than that.

Back to the topic, they showed a 2 second mentioned of the year bitcoin was created.
Where is the acknowledgment of the advantages bitcoin has?
Man, bitcoiners are getting excited about some news faster than starving rabbit seeing carrots.
Since the parent company is not just a car company but the parent company is Tata Group which own Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) which is one of the largest IT companies in the world and they are doing projects related to BTCitcoin and blockchain for the past several years which i personally know and mentioning BTCitcoin in an advertisement is not just recognizing in an advertisement but they are creating projects in the blockchain space through TCS and funding developers to research.

For people who are not aware of the vast empire of the Tata group they are into different business around the globe in over 100 countries including the Taj hotels, Airlines, Automobiles including Tata motors, Steel, Communication sector and 25% of the global internet goes through their underground sea cables, eCommerce sites, Chemical plants and then the IT giant in TCS and many other ventures. So a company that big which is having presence throughout the globe and advertising BTCitcoin is not a small feat.

The total amount of people the Tata Group employ globally is much bigger than google, facebook, microsoft combined just to known how big the company is those who are not aware of it and it is an Indian company.
3010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 26, 2020, 09:53:29 AM
if Tyson gets knocked out he gets knocked out as this is his wish to test his animal instincts at 53 years and anyone who loves Tyson does not want to see him fight and that includes Dana White but Tyson is not willing to hear their advice.
This is exactly the reason many of Mike Tyson fans does not really want to see him fight again at 53, i have seen many legendary boxers in the past having life long disability like Muhammad Ali and the damage you might get to the brain will be huge even for charity.

Here are a couple of tapes to watch.  I think Poirier's gonna win...  But his line is so deep now so I bet on the over 2.5 rounds at 1.84 a couple of days ago.  I think it's gonna go the distance since both are rangey fighters.
Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker will be a stand up battle and over 2.5 rounds is a good bet and it is going to be a great battle and the winner could challenge Conor McGregor and if Dustin Poirier wins it could be a good rematch and yet another high earning match for the UFC as Dustin Poirier has improved a lot from his first fight with Conor.

The other fight you should look forward is Mike Perry where is coming into this fight with no coaches and his girlfriend will be in the corner  Cheesy.
3011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 25, 2020, 07:23:07 AM
I would like Bhuvi, Shami and Pant to return back to domestic cricket when they are not playing internationally. Because all 3 of them are not always in the side. Sometimes they are in and sometimes they are out. Domestic cricket will help them to get back their form and to continue just like consider it as a net practice. Also, the younger talent will get help when they play as they will learn and see them playing live for many those will be the role models who may be looking will also get a chance to play with them.
Bhuvanesh Kumar is injured and so is the reason he is not in the International set up and he needs to focus on fitness and Mohammed Shami is overcame his fitness issue and bowling really well and he needs rest rather than venturing into Domestic matches as India is playing more Test ODI and T20 and on top of that IPL and if they have a dip in form then they need to play domestic matches and in the case of Rishabh Pant he needs to have more exposure in the domestic setup and pile up runs to get the confidence to play International matches including improving his wicket keeping skills.

I haven't seen it as it doesn't seem to have show up on youtube yet, but I have respect for the guy. A lot of fighters don't know when to quit or throw in the towel, even when they're struggling to walk back to their corner or get back up from it between rounds. If you know you're defeated, mentally, physically or both then there's not much point walking out just so you can get knocked down. I liked Dana's response to the situation as well. Hopefully he'll give him another shot at some point.
The head coach Robert Drysdale gave an interview detailing the event and claims he was beating top 5 UFC fighters in gym and Rohskopf was broken mentally in the second round as he used to always dominate the opponent in the gym and during fights and in this situation when the second round became tough he was mentally broken and wanted to quit and he signed for the fight with a 10 day fight camp. If the fighter is not willing to continue the coaches should stop the fight as it will bring more damage and hopefully the UFC will allow him to fight with a full camp and see how he will fair in the UFC.

Here is the clip of Tyson sparring at 53 years of age. The speed and punching power is not to be messed even at this age and against a MMA striker he will have a chance even at this age.
Sparring clips of 10 to 15 seconds will not prove anything but he might stand a chance against MMA strikers for charity events even at 53 years of age but i would like to see against similar retired boxers who are still training.
3013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 22, 2020, 10:45:58 PM
Who are all going to dominate the cricket arena in next 10 or more years. I guess people like Kane Williamson, Joe Root, Virat Kohli, SMPD Smith are still capable of dominating for another 5 to 8 years hence what are the chances for those listed new people to flourish by competing against current players?

Do you follow any of these young talents already? Who are they? I checked the list but except 1 or 2, most others are new to me.
The first step to groom a young talent is not by comparing with established players and putting more pressure on them as it will break them, i am sure we will see many new talents and i am aware of Prithvi Shaw, Haider Ali, Gerald Coetzee, Ollie Pope, Kartik Tyagi, Noor Ahmad, Shubman Gill as mentioned in the article and there are other players like Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shivam Mavi and Ishan Porel who could take the bowling mantle for India in the future.
3014  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest BTC addresses can easily create whale alerts everyday on: June 21, 2020, 07:24:48 PM
People that have addresses that hold more than 50.000BTC could easily send thousands of bitcoins to other owned-by-them addresses everyday. Wouldn't this affect the bitcoin price?
Most of the old dresses are not actively sending BTCitcoins, only in recent months some of the dormant accounts started sending the old coins in the past several years and if there is a huge amount of coins moving out from the dormant accounts except from the exchange accounts there is a panic in the market whether the old Satoshi coins are active again. How often are you seeing the whale alert in the past only in the past several months you are seeing an article about old wallets active again and sending coins, in fact not that much.
3015  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 21, 2020, 04:49:54 PM
You elaborated how the economy is suffering badly globally and then you think war is eminent, war means more expense in a crunch economic situation and no government in their right mind will start one when the entire globe is struggling financially and tax increase and price hike are a correlation of that.

China and India is having border issues but it will not blow into a full fledged war as both having nuclear weapons and the global community will not sit idle to see a full fledged war.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 21, 2020, 03:38:05 PM
Meh...  I am 3 - 2 for the event.  I would've just broken even if I didn't put that last minute action on Lyman Good.  Oh well.  On to the next.  Poirier vs Hooker should be good.

Edit:  Burgos' loss was his own fault for letting himself get hit.  IMHO.  It could've been avoided.
The fight between Shane Burgos and Josh Emmett were really close and that was the one fight i did not wage a bet as i knew it will be really close and the strikes landed were almost similar but Josh Emmett was able to take him down once and the two knockdowns that changed the fight.

Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker fight card has some good fights and looking forward for the weekend and i am expecting Poirier to return back to the win column.

The fighters that impressed me in this fight card was Justin Jaynes, Gillian Robertson, Marc-André Barriault and Jim Miller actually surprised me.

Anyone watched the Max Rohskopf fight where the corner was not calling off the fight even though he said he do not want to continue which was really brutal on the corners part as he was in the fight at a short notice and he was not able to cope up with the fight and he said he wanted to quit but the corner was not willing to call off the fight and i am sure the commission will take some action against the corner for that.
3017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another bitcoin scams hit Canada on: June 21, 2020, 01:31:37 PM
There are so many scammers in this world, we should be careful when there are someone messages us out of nowhere if you don't know the number just ignore it especially when it is about money. You don't have to pay attention to those text messages. Always assess the situation if needed.
It is a scam that is running for the past two years, what the scammers does it convince the end user that they are calling from the government and they need to move their money from their accounts through BTCitcoin ATM then ask to forward the private keys. There were a few scam call centers that are busted and when i reviewed their modus operandi it was mind boggling that people would trust random phone calls as government officials without fact checking.

Do you think boycotting Chinese products is possible in this globalisation era? Almost all of the electronics even if its a US or European brand, the make is in China. So I don't think this is not possible in this era. Once the current border conflict subsides, the cry for boycotting Chinese products will stop and the people will be back to using the Chinese products. So, once the border conflict subsides, there will be no problem with VIVO sponsoring IPL  Tongue
Personally i do not think that boycotting Chinese products is possible as they have some cool gadgets at cheap rates compared to other products but the only way the government could ban those electronic products is when they could convince everyone about the security issues and all the data in your phone will be stored in some Chinese servers and there are news confirming that from the US media. The Indian railway already cancelled a Chinese contract but claim it is not because of the conflict, who knows.

Also, another sad thing is that former skipper Mortaza tested positive just like Afridi. I hope he recovers quickly without any issues.
Is he doing charity work to get exposed to the virus. Hope he gets well soon.
3019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinGecko Most Searched Assets on: June 20, 2020, 06:13:14 PM
TOP 30 most searched assets on CoinGecko last week

With help from CoinGecko, we received a exclusive data on top 30 most searched assets. We will be sharing them each Friday
I am not familiar with some of the coins in the most searched assets, i understand some have a much bigger market cap but what is with the coins like syncFab, Rivex, KardiaChain who are not having that much of a total market cap and still it is the most searched asset which is really weird, if anyone have an explanation why that is it would be great.

Its open to speculate as far as "deals in jeopardy" boycott rhetoric is concern and can shift both ways as VIVO deal is not that big (approx 500ish crore). I think status quo is not a bad option till BCCI gets new sponsor.
There is a huge cry about boycotting the Chinese products and it is a 2,199 crore which is about 440 crore per year which is a huge sum of money and there are news coming out that BCCI will be reviewing all their sponsors and the decision will be taken next week regarding all these and that includes all the companies that have Chinese minority investment.
