3001  Economy / Economics / Re: Save yourself from Address Poisoning Attack on: January 15, 2023, 11:42:03 PM
Pmalek already made this warning on the Beginners & Help last week.

I created a thread about that attack a couple of days back : New Scam Alert - Address Poisoining
I didn't see that you also make one but that's also the same topic that was posted earlier than yours by Pmalek.
3002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoin awareness for easy adoption in my locality on: January 15, 2023, 11:17:11 PM
Sharing knowledge about bitcoin and giving them an awareness of what bitcoin is is a good sign that the people there in your locality are willing to learn.
I want to start that in my area starting with my relatives but upon checking the vibes here, it's not applicable here. That's why whenever I see folks doing their own share for bitcoin, I'm happy and just cheer you guys with the positivity that you're doing.
3003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 15, 2023, 10:36:24 PM
I observed that the cryptocurrency market is a kind of green at the moment, but as a beginner, I still find it difficult to tell when the market is actually bullish. I will appreciate any advice from fellow community members concerning this current situation because I'm considering to buy some coins but finding it difficult to decide on which coin to give a trail.

Just a kind advice, the risk is mine.
It's safe to buy at any time that you can afford to. Since the said bull run isn't there although this is an indicator of it, that means that anytime you buy right now depends on your affordability.
But if you are eager to buy and want to make decent profits then during the red days is the best time to buy and that was just a few weeks ago, we'll never know if another sequence of red days will come for this upcoming week.
3004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Pi mainnet on: January 15, 2023, 09:54:20 PM
well, in my city it was the same at that time a lot of people were talking about Pi (especially the airdroppers). They were enthusiastic about talking about something that didn't exist yet and when I asked them they only answered that this was a good project and would be worth it. and after a few months passed I came again to that group of people I asked again how your Pi was progressing, they only answered scam.
In full, I am not too deep into the Pi project, but from some news I have heard, this is indeed like a business monkey
Good thing that the group has acknowledged the signs of it being like that. Because with people that I've asked before, they're still optimistic and just like some people in the forum that has got it. Still, they think that it's going to be worth a try to keep on holding it since it cost them nothing but their time and effort. The only thing that they can do is if someone genuinely going to buy it from other holders and going to pay it as a P2P transaction. That's how they can make money from it. But, it isn't a lot that's asking to buy it from other users.

This has p2p transaction using worthless token especially the shady one like pi became normal happening. Many people hype it up to take advantage to those people who believe on lies they spread. So I really hope no one bite this trap since if they are the end point buyer of this tokens or coins they might lose their money, because once this scams exposed or many people realize that they are totally dealing a shit coin no people will buy it anymore and that's a huge lose for the newbie buyer.
Yeah, before the seller is able to do the transaction in a P2P if someone inquires, hopefully, that it gets noticed and will see that it's an outright scam and no market at all.
There could be a market for it but it's from those people that have wasted their energies and effort by mining it. Well, that's what they think is worth it for them, to fool people and sell something that doesn't have a value.
3005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tutored or you learned how to trade? on: January 15, 2023, 09:20:22 PM
So true, learnings are not applicable at all times but there will be a time that it can be applied and you'll be happy to know that you've known it and extracted it from other people.
In these times, it's no longer important whether you're tutored or not as long as you've learned something which you think will be helpful to what you want to have.
Yes this is true on which it doesnt really matter whether you do get learnings from others or only self learn because what matter most is that you should really be that able to know on what you should gonna do on specific conditions or situations that you might faced on within the market and that what matter most. Its true that there are really things which you could really extract out on others ideas
and you could really make use of it on various situations which adding it up into your own knowledge which is the most important thing. Me myself had already that
learning through self research and other seek of information on various sources and getting some other ideas on other people too which it would really be that helpful.
The focus is to be educated and learn as many techniques as you can. The learnings and knowledge you'll be able to obtain will be worth it and countless because that's what others don't think about if the knowledge they're trying to get is from someone they don't know.
It's just like a pride thing that they shouldn't allow because they'll never know that the research or tutorial they get is going to help them no matter what and where did it came from.
3006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 15, 2023, 08:42:42 PM
That's an easy win for the Gin Kings, they were leading all throughout the game and they really controlled the game. Because of their hot 3 point shooing, this game went over easily, probably the highest scoring game of the 7 games.

Congrats Malonzo for winning the best player of the game. I'm waiting for the finals MVP now.
Yeah, looks pretty much easy! I thought that it was going to be a close game as to how close the games are from 1-6 but then the crowd probably is the booster for the Gin Kings and not for the Bay Area. As for the MVP, I thought that it's going to be Scottie but not, it's Standhardinger.

That's a wrap, Ginebra is once again a champion and this game was really a record breaking.
Their game plays are very well, and even the Bay Area throws a lot of long shots they are not threatened by it because they become more active and focus on their offense. Probably the crowd plays an important role with this championship, they cheer a lot and that boosted the confidence of Ginebra. Congrats to Ginebra and those who place their bet with Ginebra.
It's disappointing to see those Bay Area long shots be inaccurate but that's it, Ginebra is better today.

What the hell happened to Bay Area Dragons? I'm expecting a close Game 7 series after their Game 6 win performance.

Even though I'm betting for Ginebra to win the series and championship, I never considered the Dragons as an easy team to beat but it turned out that they seem become intimidated by how big Ginebra is from crowd numbers and their skills themselves. 6 players from the BGSM established an unusual 2 digit production.
The same thoughts and that's why I'm disappointed when I'm watching the game. I thought that there would be rains of long shots and threes but didn't see that.

Unable to watch the game live as I'm driving from a tiring 8-9 hours on our way home. But on our 1st stopover in San Marcelino, Zambales around 3 PM, we were able to spot Magnolia's Calvin Abueva, buying I think, mangoes. Just a bit surprised that he's really tall in person but watching him on screen, he looks small haha. Then around 9 PM, passing Bocaue Exit and PhilArena Exit Southbound, the hell traffic on the road going to Philippine Arena.
That's already a win that you saw Calvin, you should have asked him for some pictures.
3007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tutored or you learned how to trade? on: January 15, 2023, 08:03:47 PM
That's right, and it all depends on our intentions because if we just try to play, it will be useless,
traders who really have a strong determination I think they will continue to try to learn new things and not rely on tutors,
besides that to get the best pattern it also requires a process.
Those that have determination, they won't neglect every single piece of information that they can take. Even if it's from tutors, they'll take it lightly if they see that it's something useful for their trades.
Just because you're into tutors doesn't mean that you'll rely solely on them, it's a good step forward when you start asking for their help and then eventually you'll learn on your own and stand onto your own ground.

collect and filter what's good for your growth when it comes to trading. sometimes the technique is not good for the moment but it will be useful in some situations. in trading, you can't apply all your learnings all at once. it depends on the situation on hand. tutored or not, it depends on how you use your learnings throughout your journey. sometimes even if you know such trick, you still make the same mistake.
So true, learnings are not applicable at all times but there will be a time that it can be applied and you'll be happy to know that you've known it and extracted it from other people.
In these times, it's no longer important whether you're tutored or not as long as you've learned something which you think will be helpful to what you want to have.

Congratulations Barangay Ginebra~ Ginkings!!!
114-99
Congrats also too to the best player of the game, Jamie Malonzo! That game was amazing and still kudos and respect to the Bay Area Dragons. Their shooters were really inaccurate and might probably be intimidated by the crowd.

Attendance check on the Philippine Arena = 54,589 audiences attended!
3009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 15, 2023, 11:39:23 AM
3rd quarter with 5:30 minutes left.

Bay Area Dragon = 53

BGSM = 80

Okay, looks like we're seeing some end of this grand finals for the PBA and the score is too much to cover by the Bay Area. Outside shots of Bay Area were also out of luck.
3010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: January 15, 2023, 10:37:25 AM
completely wrong , Diversification does not have to be occasionally but each time mate , we must have many coin that single investment and this has been proven for how many years now? though determining the coins to keep hold  is the harder part but diversifying is what investors in our time now must have and trust me you will also love having those in daily basis.
There are investors that have been lucky with some other altcoins and that's why they're pursuing altcoins. But there are also people that have been successful with lesser investments in altcoins and are more focused on bitcoin thus, advocate to invest in bitcoin.
That's true, choosing the altcoins to invest in is hard because you'll never know if the one you've picked is going to be good in the future. And that's the reason why we have to research first before buying it.
3011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginner question about transaction fee on: January 14, 2023, 11:20:12 PM
You haven't seen the time when transaction is more than the high fee recently.
But anyway, I am still expecting the fees to be quite high as it seems despite the network upgrade, when the network is full and totally clogged again then it will result with another problem to be that much. However, what's good now is if the fee is at high in cents then that is much better than before.

Those that have YouTube videos or channels to share, should be aware that not everyone is going to click a link here unless they care to explain more of a summary of that video.
If it's interesting and there are information and there's the analysis that catches the attention of everyone, it is for sure going to take views from everybody but not in a clickbaity way.
3015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: January 14, 2023, 11:52:17 AM
Hello, i was watching for few months now and got that most of airdrop campaigns specially airdrop bots on telegram  don't pay participants with tokens. it's a nature that many airdrop bots don't pay or scam participants after getting them promoted through users. but this time it's different i think. before few moths i received at least 10 airdrops per month and now it has been reduced to 2-3 drops per month although i worked even more harder on airdrop campaign.

What could be the reason ?? comment your ideas specially OGs. this is for you.
They're airdrops and that means that they're just there to be given out for free or not at all since you spend no money at all. Those that don't distribute it very well have a problem in management so that means they're not even serious with the allocation for the airdrop participants.
If you're mostly focused on airdrops, it's better for you to spend less time on it for you to realize that there's no certain by allotting most of your time to it. Airdrops and crypto projects themselves are uncertain. If it gets a value, you're lucky so, it's hit or miss.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 14, 2023, 10:16:29 AM
I guess that's it and just like how the Bay Area Dragon reactivate their import, Powell. So, there's the possibility that there could be an import on the side of Ginebra on Sunday.
Just for game 7, there could be some surprises on their roster based on the naturalization of Brownlee. Thus, it's just the same roster and Brownlee is going to be for keeps of the Ginebra for the next conference.

No, they will not have a new import. That will be too unfair for Bay Area Dragon. 2 imports playing at the same time.

There is no betting line in Stake yet, but I am guessing, Ginebra will be the favorite this game. If not, that would be a big chance for us to have good odds for Ginebra.
The game is now listed in stake.

Odds are
BGSM: 1.52
BAD: 2.38

I'm just thinking that there's a possibility that Ginebra will do that since it's come and passed into law the naturalization of Brown Lee but yeah, that's it and we'll see how loud the Phil.Arena tomorrow.
3017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 14, 2023, 08:29:34 AM
The spirit of never say die will be tested again tomorrow, with a huge crowd, the intensity of the game will be tested
from both sides!
The pressure and cruciality of game 7 will bring the best and the worst for both teams. At least for Ginebra, we've seen them so many times in the finals.
But for Bay Area, it's going to be a new atmosphere to us and whether we like it or not, there's a possibility that the whole basketball nation might be disappointed but for the best, it could be the best.
3018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you stacking up on? on: January 14, 2023, 05:22:53 AM
As we will most likely continue to see bear market for this year, what are you stacking up on and why? I would love to know so I can see what people are interested and there reasoning for it.

Smiley.
Bitcoin and a few alts like ETH and BNB.
And with the pump for bitcoin which is giving the sense for all other altcoins to pump then anyone would likely to get to pick what they really want.
Because when this season is up, it's most likely that everything everyone picks is also going to be up.

3020  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Cold Key Card holder ba dito? Redeem nyo na ang card nyo! on: January 14, 2023, 03:42:11 AM
Planado siguro yung ganyan. Hirap niyan pagsama samahin.

Looking at the thread

Curious lang ako! Bakit hindi nila ni redeem in the first place yung laman ng collectibles kung ang habol is yung physical artwork design/coldkey collection? Tumataas ba value nung physical collectible in the long run as long as may laman?

Enlighten me mga eyeballs.
Tingin ko parang same lang din siya ng purpose sa mga physical coins na may btc na embedded. Collection tapos storage na din.
