3001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2019, 09:34:05 PM
I don't hold bitcoin directly, instead I hold potential crypto's in the market, due to through this I can also gain bitcoin instantly the price kick in the market rapidly for sure. Though, I know bitcoin has really have a good future, but I'm taking my risk on holding altcoins like Ethereum, Cardano, Vechain and Pundix for a long term, were I really knew it will give a huge profit at the right time.

So you're not holding Bitcoin but hoping some of your altcoins pump and you're able to sell them and get Bitcoins? This is so naive. By doing this you're risking a lot because these coins can lose a lot in an instant and if you look at the altcoin market in general it's losing a lot of value every year. Coins that are pumping are very rare and they tend to lose much more than Bitcoin.
Also by holding altcoins to get bitcoin you're missing the possible pump on bitcoin. If your altcoin pumps but Bitcoin also does at the same time you won't gain anything. Converting an altcoin to Bitcoin will leave you with roughly the same number of bitcoins. You're playing a high risk - low reward game.
3002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Games that everybody likes on: December 06, 2019, 09:21:47 PM
You can check the most popular casino games statistics. It's interesting but the easiest games are the most popular. I don't know if we can say that popular games are games that people like but it sure looks like it. So the most popular real casino game is slots because it's easy and widely available. Anyone can play and each game is very cheap.

In bitcoin casinos the blockbuster is dice.

3003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 06, 2019, 09:11:42 PM
I have not yet seen a more stupid statement. Do you want to say that you will go to a casino where it says "here you can’t win money but you can spend your time"? I doubt it very much.
People go to play in the first place in order to win, even if this is a very difficult task by default.

This is a good one.

I saw people in this thread who say that the only people who make money on gambling are casinos and their affiliates. This is so wrong!

What about professional poker players? What about those few lucky people who went to play for the first time and won big time? What about people who play in casino tournaments? What about all those dice players who got lucky and doubled their money in a single game?

Gambling shouldn't be a way to make money because it's unreliable but it can be if you're lucky or skilled enough.
3004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s a curiosity to know on: December 06, 2019, 08:30:32 PM
I think the numbers are growing because this is normal for every big Internet business. They aren't removing accounts and even if they were people who resign from a site very rarely request their accounts to be removed. Coinbase also gives some money for making an account and referring people which means that every year they will have more new users even if some of them will turn inactive.

A better question would be how many active users they have and if this number keeps growing.
3005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: December 06, 2019, 08:10:47 PM
Deutsche bank is doing research! My oh my  Roll Eyes

I hope you don't put too much trust in them because this is the bank that will lead the next financial crisis.

Deutsche bank stocks used to be worth 30 EUR 4 years ago and now are worth 6 EUR, scoring losses every single year. At least they have some good ideas like this attempt to try cryptocurrencies because without some risky investments they will be gone in the next 3 years.
3006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DigiByte delisted from Poloniex!!! on: December 06, 2019, 06:06:21 PM
I just cant believe they delisted DGB just because of their relationship with TRON. Also I am not aware of the news earlier. So needs to dig into that to understand the reason for delisting further.

They did it right after that "buy TRON" tweet by poloniex. They were paid to promote TRON on their platform and are removing competition to make more money.
TRON is centralized which makes it a very risky copin to buy but if poloniex is doing so much to promote it some people will buy for sure and make Sun even richer.

If I were you I'd get out of POLO asap. This is some really bad manipulation by them.
3007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: December 06, 2019, 05:34:02 PM
Don't waste your time on haters. Explain things to the doubters.

The difference is that doubters have arguments and are fit for discussion. They ask questions and listen to answers.
Haters who have time to make an account on this forum only to call bitcoin scam and it's investors idiots are nothing but trolls. You won't be able to teach them anything.
3008  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $10k soon according to Bloomberg? on: December 06, 2019, 05:24:54 PM
Don't fall for these predictions. These people are usually too bullish or too bearish and by these people I mean most big portals lead by CNBC. CNBC used to say that we're going to go to 25 thousand when we were falling down from the peak of 20.

It's the same attitude shown by bloomberg now as they were presenting earlier this year when they were calling Bitcoin a bubble that popped https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2018-12-11/yep-bitcoin-was-a-bubble-and-it-popped
Now they are bullish again. What a joke.
3009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 06, 2019, 05:13:58 PM
No they won't. Crypto markets are shifting from ICOs to mainly Bitcoin and some safer top 10 altcoins.

People see how much alts are losing compared to Bitcoin in bear market and switch to safer investments. Some coins that used to be quite popular a few months ago like BSV are going lower and lower. XRP also isn't doing too good. If you have fiat lying around buy Bitcoin. It's the safest investment in this market.
3010  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Unofficial] CryptoTalk.Org & Yobit Panel BTCtalk Signature Campaign Discussion on: December 06, 2019, 04:37:17 PM
Let's see how long it will take before someone starts a scam accusation thread Tongue

Why would they start a campaign and then stop paying without a word. It's really easy to make an announcement that campaign is closing and you don't get any bad reputation from it. It's very strange that an active team that is available on yobit chat every day would ignore people like that. It may be just a misunderstanding but if they don't pay people for such a small job don't expect them to honor bigger deals and keep your money safe.
3011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me how to fish on: December 05, 2019, 06:30:08 PM
Everyone keeps pointing to trading as the best alternative to earning in this bear market but my past experience about trading was bad and now i am willing to give a try again, can any one give me good guide? don't just tell me to find strategy without giving me any, teach me how to fish

There are many ways to trade and you can start by choosing your timeframe. It will depend on how much time you can spend doing it. Some people are day traders who focus on 1m charts and watch every candle and some trade on swings and don't have an open position when the market is slow and boring. There are also long term traders who trade only during big moves.

Next you will have to choose TA indicators to follow. Some use moving averages, some use trend lines, some harmonics and others fib lines. It's impossible to use everything. Choose what works for you.
3012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your Bitcoin cash price prediction on: December 05, 2019, 05:58:06 PM
It's going to keep going down in value but reacting to Bitcoin pumps and dumps as well. BCH has been acting like that and is going to continue.

Basically the pattern looks like this:
Bitcoin pumps -> BCH pumps proportionally
Bitcoin dumps -> BCH dumps even more and goes deeper. Usually doesn't recover 100% even when Bitcoin does.
Bitcoin stays in a channel and is slow and boring -> the same with BCH with a slight bearish bias
3013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 05, 2019, 05:48:49 PM
Tell me if my plan is bad, the first time i entered crypto space i started with mining rig setups but after some time its no more profitable so i stopped mining, now i start joining airdrops and bounties but present market condition is not helping, now i decide to sell my rig and find other business to divert the money to,
Don't mine if it's unprofitable. Nobody is going to tell you to mine at a loss.

Quote
if bull run ever comes i will still have coins to sell since most of my bounties i hold the ones with use cases, is selling my mining rig a good call?

Tell us what are those coins that you're holding. The coins with use cases that you got from bounties. I'm interested because 99,9% of all new coins are junk and have no use cases so I'd like to know your opinion.
3014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confused, Your thoughts is needed on: December 05, 2019, 05:27:28 PM
There is a part in bounties i still don't get, bounty allocations are 1% to 10% of total max supply of the project token i wonder how dumping this can drag down its value? or most new projects have ways of dumping behind our back? For example Tokoin bounty leaves me speechless, many hunters sold their tokens but token value don't even move an inch from 0.08, what makes it withstand the dump while others would have crumbled back to 0.001 or more ..

A dump is when holders sell at the same time and there's not enough buyers to keep the price high.

Sometimes you hear about bounty being "dumped" but it is not. What you think means it dumped is hunters selling their bounties but you have to remember that to have an impact they have to sell fast. If they hesitate and keep selling throughout the first month of trading there may not be enough downward pressure to make it look like a dump on charts. 10% dump in 1 day is big 10% in a week not so much.
3015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10.000 Euro longterm (2-3 years) - in what 2 altcoins should i invest? on: December 05, 2019, 05:13:34 PM
If I have 10k euros to invest in the top 10 coin marketcap, then I will choose to invest in Ethereum and BNB Coin. Both of these coins have great liquidity and in my opinion BNB Coin has great potential in the future. With the support of the biggest exchangers at the moment, I think BNB Coin will be able to penetrate the top 5 coinmarketcap

Centralized coins are always a bad idea. BNB depends on a number of things instead of the global crypto markets. It depends on CZ and if he gets arrested or made to flee from a country (like China) expect the price of BNB to tank regardless of what real world use it might have. It also depends on Binance and its growth. If Binance gets banned so will the BNB.

Invest only in independent decentralized projects.
3016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: At What Price would you stop investing more money into Bitcoin ??? on: December 02, 2019, 11:27:26 PM
I stopped buying in 2014.

If I were buying now, of the poll choices $100 would signal that something was seriously screwed up. I could wrap my head around a move to $1000. When you think about it it's really not that far away and all these billions in market cap are entirely fictional anyway. $100 would be proper shitsville.

Agree. Bitcoin going to 100 would mean everybody who joined in 2017 and past that has probably left the space. This would be a sign that the coin is dying and maybe just maybe if it made a double bottom at 100 and started a big rally we could say that it's still alive but most people would trade that like a dead cat bounce at that point.

Anything below the 2016 bear market low would mean a real death of Bitcoin.
3017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A piece of an advice on: December 02, 2019, 11:20:41 PM
It's important to identify a dying coin. A dying coin has no updates no adoption no real world use cases and keeps going lower. If it has a rally from time to time and goes up by  a thousand percent to later have another loong bear market it's all good.

Coins that keep getting lower highs and lower lows and coins that have scam accusations or some other shady things going on are the ones you should stay away from.
3018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10.000 Euro longterm (2-3 years) - in what 2 altcoins should i invest? on: December 02, 2019, 10:56:30 PM
Probably ETH but that's only if you're already a holder of BTC. If you don't own any BTC don't look into altcoins. Make sure you have your holdings proportional to the chances of a coin succeeding. BTC has at least 80% to succeed. Coins like XRP maybe 40%. Shitcoins like Bitcoin SV 1%.

Also make sure you do the math before you put any money into the space.
3019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Germany is going to be the Crypto Heaven but Russia Banned- What are the others? on: December 02, 2019, 10:38:21 PM
It's all politics. The US and the EU are pro Bitcoin in general and Russia acts as opposition and fights it. This time they chose bad because soon almost whole world will have some regulations and Russia and probably China instead of regulations will have bans.

Russia lost a lot of steam when the Soviet Union fell and is about to lose more fighting cryptocurrencies.
It's not a fight they can win. They can join or be left behind
3020  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Holds a Whopping 966,230 Bitcoin ($7B) in Cold Wallet on: December 02, 2019, 10:30:21 PM
It's still dangerous because it's centralization that puts whole network at risk. Coinbase is still one entity and it makes it vulnerable. They can use cold storage but there's always the human factor. People are greedy and they make mistakes. What will we do if 7B gets compromised because of one person?

If what coinbase is showing on their site more than 70% of their users buy bitcoin so this storage is going to keep growing.
