3001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 30, 2021, 07:07:28 AM
Happy birthday to the most smiling player in the EPL, N'golo Kante...incredible player! You can't love football and hate on Kante.
Incredible player still driving his mini cooper car he first ever car  Grin the only player you can never hate, I hope the hamstring injury he sustained is not that bad. Happy Birthday Kante.

I totally love players like these too only that I really wish he stayed on at Leicester and won maybe one more trophy with them,,, but stilll, I agree, nice guys like these are very rare in football. I think Kante and Kolo Toure were the nicest people in EPL for a long time. Not proud and not arrogant, just so nice. Happy birthday!
3002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin adoption isn't stopping on: March 30, 2021, 06:51:44 AM

Mastercard has to hurry to develop theirs because Visa is already ahead of them. Visa had announced already they have successfully made their first transaction using USD Coin in ETH blockchain and probably be launched soon. Adoption has indeed come taking place while we are here alive still. I never thought its going to take just a decade for it to be adopted in big institutions. It looks very rapid.

They are both developing crypto solutions side by side, I think if you see the news BOTH Visa and Mastercard have almost very similar projects for incubators going on and both taking on new blockchain projects. They both also now supply credit cards directly to crypto companies, in the last years, so yes,,, very impressive figures from both sides. They cannot afford to be left behind you see:)
3003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give your opinion on crypto bookmakers on: March 30, 2021, 06:00:30 AM
As you can see for all outcomes odds are bigger on Stake, it means the juice is way smaller on Stake than on sportsbet, contrary to what you say.  Undecided

Sportsbet I notice has just more or less the same odds as Stake, I guess because the providers are the same,,, but you generally see Stake put it up a little bit more on an equal basis BUT Sportsbet has a lot more boosts so if you use that the odds become better. Parlays are also for sure bigger on Sportsbet because you can add more legs and get 10%++ boosts plus free insurance from 5 legs and above.
3004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will EOS be worth in the future? on: March 30, 2021, 04:56:17 AM
EOS, WAVES, ETC, TRX it's a long list of "promising" eth-like / post ethereum clone that have been created in the last years but for one or more reasons they are not really mainstream like ETH.

I am not sure this is the same situation with bitcoin (what coin will be the next bitcoin?) but it's really hard EOS can have the same appeal since ETH2.0 can fix a lot of actual problem, providing more interest of people in ethereum. I am optimistic just in case there is some big partnership... but it will be even a small event for a coin with such aspirations.

That is the problem is it not? That we already saw all these platforms before (except I do not count ETC as one of them since they were the original before ETH in fact ETH is the ETC-like project in 2016).

I myself even took in early in WAVES and NEO but am disappointed with what has happened with them except EOS as that seemed like a major scam that rakes in billions and developed almost nothing:)
3005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano Price Predictions For End Of 2021 on: March 29, 2021, 04:09:08 PM
Reading a lot of Charles Hoskinson news again after a long time not seeing his name,,, I guess Cardano marketing department is getting ready for another bout of pushing and pulling in Q2 2021 maybe?

My ADA are not going anywhere, but neither am I going to add more to it:)
3006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get mad when the price of your cryptos go higher after you have sold on: March 29, 2021, 02:42:38 PM
faced lot of time . last i remember price was 3.5K i sold 4BTC . and right after one week price raised about 80% .
When bitcoin price more crashed 3.7k per bitcoin them I sold 1.87 btc and bought a motor bike with 300k my native currency. But now bitcoin already Mooned but I have no bitcoin in my personal wallet.

Yeah,,, right. All you guys talk about so many Bitcoins but here you are posting about a nonsense topic with all those losses. Can you prove you own the addresses that had those 4 BTC and 1.87 BTC?

I mean if you sold them at a low, then you took on a lot of losses. Who would do that after waiting so long? Does not make sense at all.
3007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 29, 2021, 02:07:39 PM
AC Milan still not meet agreement with Hakan and Donnarumma, I think Milan will lost them. But, from rumor, AC Milan will allocated around 100M Euro for summer transfer. Nikola Vlasic (CSKA Moscow) linked with AC Milan to replace Hakan. From transfermarket website, Vlasic price around €30.00m. from the performance statistics, he can be a decent player to replace Hakan. However, in my opinion it would be better if this budget was used to fight for Hakan because he has shown good performance this season.

Donnarumma was supposed to go to Man United at some point in the past 2 seasons,,, do you think they are finally ready to let go of de Gea? I think this season will be his last and they will do a surprise keeper move, maybe Donnarumma to England after all.

Me I am hoping we get a good replacement for Lloris (he is not bad but well).
3008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins having an ICO next are to be good? on: March 29, 2021, 12:04:02 PM
Mina is an interesting project to keep track of and invest in. The only problem is that, it's difficult to invest in projects via coinlist as their platform is usually hampered with issues whenever there's a token sale; not to mention coinlist has a very crappy way of handling token sales as of recent. I wanted to participate in their most recent project (Casper) but I was heavily disappointed due to how everything turned out. I don't know much about Cere Network too. For now, Mina protocol is the only project that I'm looking forward to.

There are plenty of interesting projects to keep track of but that is part of the problem I feel,,, too many things going on and everyone is only interested in making money quickly, not really with their hearts invested in the long term sustainability of it all.

I have been bitten many times already,,, so I learn my lesson. If I can USE the coin and understand AND support the project, then it wins my attention.
3009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give your opinion on crypto bookmakers on: March 29, 2021, 10:45:09 AM
I guess I agree with Sportsbet but that is because I play there all the time, it is very hard to talk about places you do not play at BUT I can say that the reason I stuck with Sportsbet is like you said. That you are always able to find the promos and good stuff on Sportsbet unlike other sportsbooks.

I would say they are the most active on the forum, so that is one reason.
3010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: March 29, 2021, 10:01:09 AM
Go to school. Study hard. Get a scholarship so your dad does not have to pay for fees. Get a good job. Then invest in crypto some of your earnings and send home money to your dad. This is the advice you should take. Do NOT listen to advice on investment from this forum.

I have some BNB and I will suggest you to buy BNB now. There are many people who says that the current BNB is overpriced in the market and those guys previously told that BNB was overpriced wherever the BNB was at $20 but now it is at $270+. So, the market will decide whice one will be in top. Bnb will go up and will touch $300+. So you can still buy this.

Like this. Irresponsible advice. Please make a good life for yourself OP.

3011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Awareness and Meme Images on: March 29, 2021, 08:53:31 AM
The thing is, it is not that gamblers are unaware of this,,, they know this. What these memes need to do is to make more similar comparisons to real life. Show the guy winning things first, and even winning big and how easy it looks. And then losing and then chasing those losses. Like how it always happens to us in gambling;)
3012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PredictX - Prediction Markets for DeFi on: March 29, 2021, 08:17:11 AM
I never really understood these prediction markets, why not just buy and hold and sell and speculate on your own,,, right? And worse still is now in this crazy defi space are prediction markets. These things are all truly random in price movement, pure gambling I guess unless people know a way to manipulate things.
3013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on My First Ever Trade BTC Long on: March 29, 2021, 06:59:33 AM
I think it is good personally! But this is more of a holder entry I would say so be prepared to have to wait on this for a very long time, maybe months before next ATH is breached. OR if you want, take profit at 1% and keep doing so.

I prefer the hodling:)
3014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: March 28, 2021, 03:55:47 PM
Even market is not good in the past few weeks we are still in the bull run because the price of coins is still high and I think they are preparing for the big pump next month so if you want to invest buy now before you lose the opportunity.

Bitcoin is currently at 55k which is only 10% down from the ATH and you think we are in a not so good market? I do not know what you are expecting from a rally,,, if you want 2017 when everything went from 1k to 20k in a flash, then be ready for everything to drop just as badly and last into a long 3-year period of crypto winter:)
3015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Coins to be listed on Coinbase on: March 28, 2021, 03:03:20 PM
Is there a way to find out which are new tokens which would be listed on Coinbase over a period of time?

Yes there is and that is by knowing insider knowledge from someone working at Coinbase,,, or if you happen to be in the inner circle of people who are negotiating to list on an exchange as big as Coinbase.

It is wrong and you can get fined or even jailed for insider trading. Ask Martha Stewart;) But I suppose 2 years in nice people jail is worth making millions.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 28, 2021, 01:37:31 PM
England are quite lucky to be placed in Group I, I guess the only toughest opponent to handle in this group would be Poland. I think Albania will struggle hard to prevent England claiming a victory from their hands today, even though the odds payout for England to win the match in full time is only @1.28 but I believe England should be able to beat Albania relatively easily today.

England are always lucky in this regard I feel at least,,, when I follow it seems they have an easy group with just 1 tough opponent so they should come out as the first seed from this one. Albania are good but there is no way they should be expected to get anything more than 1 point here. 1.28 reflects this easy match.
3017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to TumbleBit? on: March 28, 2021, 11:58:15 AM
It's been quite some time since developers announced the experimental privacy feature for Bitcoin known as Tumblebit. The project worked in a similar fashion to a cryptocurrency mixer without the middleman (sort of like a non-custodial mixer). Last time I've checked, development for nTumblebit on the GitHub repository has stalled. The last commit was around 3 years ago (2018 to be exact).

I'm starting to wonder what could've led developers to abandon the project altogether? Will development continue sometime in the future? Or will Tumblebit become just another nail in the coffin? What do you think could've happened with TumbleBit? Huh

They are busy working on Taproot are they not? I do not understand the full implications of this but I understand that it is signalling already,,, and if everything is going well with no objections then everything should be ready by the end of the year. A lot of github things stalled but I guess because there is now things like Monero doing all of those thing?
3018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT is an interesting space on: March 28, 2021, 11:00:21 AM
I think NFT is a tool to deprive you of cryptocurrency... In my opinion it's a complete nonsense, which in time nobody will need it after the hype has passed! Although I don't exclude that in certain areas NFT can be in demand, for example as an indication of the right holder... Although blockchain is enough for that too!
It is not complete nonessential, have you sat down to experiment what the NFT market is all about? What it's trying to achieve? How is it moving towards there? This industry has been in existence since 2015. Its hype is just starting who knows where it could get to in the next 5 years?

It is not complete nonsense I agree, there is definitely some use of it especially with digital art and other things that can be digitalized BUT the current way it is being used like for selling some the saliva or blood or something from some guy? I think this is pure hype and selling some Tweet? You do not even own the Tweet!
3019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Someone with experience with WINK (WIN)? on: March 28, 2021, 09:19:16 AM
I think this was really popular in the beginning of smart contract gambling dapps because you basically could mine them with wagering (the more you wager,,, the more WINK you earn). The only problem is Ethereum became expensive to use so you could not mine more than even the fees. This is what I understood about it.
3020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2021, 11:39:23 AM
And here is the next player who will be considered for ManCity and Barca:

It can be true, a small thing you guys maybe forgot.

Rabiot 2 years ago got a deal done with Barca before the deal he got with Juventus.
The deal was trashed since Barca fought with Rabio't mother, otherwise today he should be in Spain and not in Italy.

I definitely forgot all about this,,, now that you mentioned it. So yes, I hardly think they would forget about it so Barca should not be the option here. I can for sure see him at City in fact if they do not win the quadruple this year, a lot of people would want to go there and try help them achieve it. No team has ever done this I guess in such a competitive league.
