^^ Yes mate, as per this news:

https://www.boxingscene.com/josh-taylor-replaces-trainer-ben-davison-with-coach-joe-mcnally--169715

Quote
Josh Taylor will have a new coach in his corner.

The WBO champion has parted ways with Ben Davison and announced that Joe McNally will be his new head trainer.

Taylor (19-0, 13 KOs) made the move official on social media this week, posting a picture of himself and McNally with the caption: “It’s a pleasure to officially announce that I’ve teamed up with and gonna be working with Joe McNally moving forward. I’m excited for this new chapter in my career and producing more great nights ahead.”

I haven't check the background of Joe McNally though, but it seems as per the report that he guided, Liam Smith  David Price to name a few.

As per the numbers, it's very close, that's why the fight can go either way.

3002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023 on: November 21, 2022, 10:57:41 PM

Yes, the fight schedule is too close with each other and that's why others are questioning why Tank needs to fight Hector Garcia first.

When it first pop up in my social media account I thought its fake news because how could it be when there were already a lot of talks on Tank versus Ryan Garcia and there is news that they agreed to make a deal, I don't know what happens we do not even know if Ryan knew all of this, because he keeps posting that he finally get Tank to agree to fight him, there's something behind that we don't know and they hide it all to us.

True on the other hand, Ryan Garcia also confirmed that he will have a fight is January as well. So it might be the same case as Tank Davis, Ryan will have a tune up fight as well.

So that will be the case here, both wanted to warm up first before facing each other in a mega fight.

Hopefully though, either Hector Garcia or Ryan opponent won't derail the fight that we all have been waiting for.
3003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online blackjack scam! on: November 21, 2022, 10:40:17 PM
I have been playing online live blackjack on casinos long time ago and had so many crazy games and moments, i never doubted that the casino will ever try to manipulate things out since we all know that with the long run the dealer has more chances to win. But since i saw this video on tiktok were it shows an obvious cheating from a casino which i don't know or even accuse since maybe the video is made up. But it's also making me think of all the games i lost for example happened to me getting 21 not as a blackjack pair. The dealer have like a 4 then gets also a 21 in a very weird way and for multiple times in one session.
All i want to say is maybe many casinos did cheat in this way that are shown in the video before, i want you to share your thoughts about this and also if you ever catched a casino cheat in blackjack games?
I uploaded the video to YouTube: https://youtu.be/OWCXhcJoaF0

Not the first time in a live black jack game that the dealer or the casinos have been caught cheating.

Not sure if it is prevalent, but some casinos have been caught red handed. Maybe they try to stay away from cheating their customers. But there could still be casinos out there that is going to pull this stunt.
3004  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will Be bottom Of BTC in 2022 Year ( Current Price= $16000 ) on: November 21, 2022, 10:24:23 PM
Hi guys today I saw btc has gone down almost 3 to 4% and and now it is moving at Avergae of 16000 dollars and that is alarming cause if it goes down below 1550 dollars than it might crash for almost 2000 dollars more and that's my guess and I think that it might crash further too.
And also 2022 is going to slow down and so what are you thinking about what will be the lowest price of Bitcoin in 2022 Fiscal Year.

Isn't it alarming already when the price goes from $69k to $16k? So why are you still in panic mode just this time? And it doesn't matter if it crashed in the future or if it goes down hard to $10k or less.

It's the question on how you are going to take advantage of the situation. The price is very cheap, are you not going to buy and just be the one who panic? And then when the bull run starts you will be the one buying at $60k? That's very wrong mindset of a beginner, and perhaps you are going to regret your decision in the future for panicking in 2022 and not accumulating more.
3005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 21, 2022, 10:10:08 PM
Ok just to make it formal:

Quote

"On November 14, 2022, TGB Promotions applied for special permission on behalf of Spence to fight Thurman in February 2023, but with specific mandatory conditions. Pursuant to WBA rule C.16, which states that mandatory defense periods can be modified for cause, either by special permission request or on its own initiative, the WBA decided that Spence can face Thurman," the WBA stated.

https://www.boxingscene.com/errol-spence-vs-keith-thurman-title-fight-approved-by-wba--170619

So this fight has been sanctioned by the WBA already, one of Spence belt, and now that we have 2 bodies already, WBC + WBA and perhaps the IBF will follow suit with the mandatory fight order as well.

And to add to this, WBA also ordered WBA "regular" welterweight champion Eimantas Stanionis to make a mandatory defense against Vergil Ortiz.

And then the winner facing the winner of Spence vs Thurman to have one single champion.

3006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 21, 2022, 09:40:45 PM
I guess the lack of a superstar is working great for the Jazz. Since there is no superstar that hogs the ball, they all get touches and a chance to contribute to a win. That is great basketball.
The rotation is good for a team that doesn't have a superstar because everyone is given the chance to play with their might whenever they've been on the floor. There's no mentally on them that the superstar should work hardly because he's getting paid the most and he should get the most playing time too.

In this scenario, the coach should get a credit as well since he brings out the best on his team even when they are on a rebuilding process.
Their coach Will Hardy is also still a young man, 34 years of age, and then coaching the team at its best. I agree that he should be credited for their wins but I guess that's always been there whenever they get to win.

Yeah, it's a combination of those factors, they have a new coach with a new system. There is no pressure from the management unlike before, they have tons of superstars and very good player but they failed to reach their potential.

And now the atmosphere is different in the locker room and probably in the front office. And for sure, they are very happy that they have made that trade, letting go of Mitchell and Gobert and then some, and just leaving Clarkson now as their number one option.
3007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 21, 2022, 09:24:30 PM
I thought that Ryan Garcia will not get a tune up match, but he said in his twitter account that he will also be fighting in January in preparation for a Davis mega fight,

https://twitter.com/RyanGarcia/status/1594140891035205632

Still unnamed opponent though, but we should expect that it will be a less risk fight. And just like Tank, it will be against a B-level fighter.
3008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jermell Charlo vs Tim Tszyu - Jan 28, 2023 on: November 21, 2022, 09:11:08 PM
Tim Tszyu will hire many spar mates for his preparation with Jermell Charlo and Terrell Gausha is one of them. This is an uphill battle for the son of a legend, Jermell Charlo is not an easy foe. Jermell Charlo is the undisputed champion and in his part, he will train very hard to defend his belts. Tim is dreaming of becoming a great champion like his father and this is a shortcut, if he wins he will earn himself all the belts in one fight.

We will find out next year if Tim learned his lesson from his legendary dad and from the great Manny Pacquiao.

Tszyu had surgery on his hands recently, these injuries were picked up in the fight against Terrell Gausha and have kept Tszyu out of the gym for several months while Charlo is a devastating puncher and not to mention the guy seems to be quite arrogant, in the interview From what I could read he simply behaves as if he doesn't even know his opponent, he has contempt, maybe it's part of marketing but one thing is clear to me, this Charlo is without a doubt the winner on paper and on the day of the fight he will win without having many difficulty. I don't see him losing this fight

Jermell Charlo has been knocking out his last opponents on the way to becoming the best in his division. He is arrogant because he believes he will knock out everyone in the division he is ruling. Jermell has only one defeat but he stopped Tony Harrison and regained his title.

He is also been tested by Brian Castano in their first fight, although Charlo take the decision win, it was tough and very close fight and it could go either way. But in the rematch, he blasted Brian and knock him. And so there is no question as how is the best boxer in this division. But now he has a new challenger in Tim, so Charlo will have to go and try to muster his boxing skills if he wanted to remain a champion because his challenger is very tough and motivated to become a 154 lbs champion. This fight will be a chess match, the one that will make the first mistake, might get knock down.
3009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 21, 2022, 09:00:14 PM

Tomorrow we have 8 games in total, so a lot of matches that we can either pre game or live betting. Haven't check it though, but definitely I will try to slip 1 or 2 bets again.

Live betting is the best if you have time watching the game, but if not, you can bet now and just watch the highlights, it's still fun though.

Anyway, here are my early picks.

Warriors -10.
I think they will have their first road win and they will cover the spread against a weak Houston Rockets team.

Phoenix Suns -6.
they will bounce back from a loss against the Jazz, so most likely they will win with a huge margin.

Good call on the Suns, they won double digit, surprised though that the game is very early on our time.

I will skip the Warriors for now mate, I'm still hurting on them not winning that ruined my parlay hhehehe.

I know that there are a lot of controversies surrounding the Nets with the Irving drama, but report says that he is back against the Memphis so this is the first time that I will be backing them up at -7.5. Ja Morant is in question in tonight's game.

Thanks mate! It seems that the -10 of the Warriors is a bit too high even if they are just against the Rockets. It's evident that they are only working more on offense without any tough defense, we can see it on their stats, only few rebounds and that might be the reason why the Rockets was not really struggling to chase them to get a close game.

Tomorrow is a much tougher game, they are up against the New Orleans Pelicans. I'll be skipping this one, hard to predict because Klay is still on/off.

At least they have won their first road game, and Klay finally getting his confidence back, but it Poole now who is inconsistent in the last 3 games.

The Warriors are a huge underdog against the NOP in tonight's game, hehehe

I'm picking the Celtics to win against the Bulls, going as high as -5.5.
3010  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say. Bitcoins, not "cryptos" on: November 21, 2022, 08:38:08 PM
It's obvious that bitcoin is not dead, we are just in the bear market, so the price will go down and we will be hit no matter what. And there will always be some factors that will affect us, i.e Covid in 2020 pulling down the price to $3k, and we have exchanges like FTX collapsing and then the Terra effect as well.

But despite that, we are still standing, and bitcoin is too big too fall. We just have to be mentally tough but everyone should pass the acid test.
3011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 21, 2022, 01:09:48 PM
I just think of this;

- Errol Spence dominating his opponent when he return to the ring after a near-death car crash
- Keith Thurman dominating his opponent after 2 years rest

I don't like to put Science here but Spence experienced a worst but still a dominant fighter after he almost seen the door of the heaven on that car crash. Don't get me wrong and take that as a humor. Smiley

That might be some point of their life events but I do not think it has something do about their performance.  Errol Spence has been dominating his opponent even before the accident, and Thurman, except Manny Pacquiao, had been dominating his opponent too.  I think the good point of comparison between the two boxers is their performance fight against Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia.  These two boxers were among their latest 5 opponents and they both beat them.

Watching the highlights of those fights[1][2][3][4], I believe the fight might go either way.  Thurman fought the younger version of the two boxers and got an impressive result, and later Spence fought the two and also got a more dominating performance.  Still, I believe the fight will be a matter of strategy like the one who counters the others.  Spence maybe the favorite today because he has the belt but never estimate Thurman because he has shown that he still has that sting before he lost to Manny Pacquiao.

[1] Thurman vs Porter
[2] Spence vs Porter
[3] Thurman vs Garcia
[4] Spence vs Garcia

Yes, Thurman fought the younger versions of Porter and Garcia. Garcia was also undefeated and a champion at that time, so it was a unification and a battle of undefeated champions.

But after Thurman went inactive for 2 years, he changed and seems lost. I don't see the hunger in Thurman anymore. In his return fight against Lopez, he won but there were times when he struggled and then all of a sudden he jumped right away to fight against Pacman although an older version. After earning millions he went inactive for 2 years again. He made another tune-up against Barrios, a 140 fighter who was knockout in his last fight against a blown-up 135 Tank Davis. It was a clear victory for Thurman but he struggled and was so vulnerable and was the one hunted by Barrios. Imagine if it was Spence in front of Thurman. If Thurman cannot stop Barrios, how can he get the respect of Spence? If Thurman was hittable and was shaken that's why he ran away from Barrios, imagine if it is a real welterweight with the power, toughness, and skill of Spence.

I can only speculate what had happen to Thurman during that time,

a. It really took a lot of toll in his body, the wear and tear and so he had to recover from those injuries
b. Choosing a wrong fighter in his comeback, not sure why they chooses Josesito Lopez, but that dude is what tough SOB. Others could look at how durable this fighter is, fights like against Victor Ortiz. He even had fight with Canelo Alvarez
c. They rushed him in making a comeback and maybe he is not 100% yet when he fought Lopez

And that's why Pacquiao and coach Roach is willing to fight him because they see something in him in the Lopez fight. That he wasn't the same anymore.

But again, let's see, if a big fan ahead of him, and maybe at least he can motivate himself again to make this a war against Spence.
3012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What in the world is renBTC? on: November 21, 2022, 12:10:39 PM
Others have answered the question, and if I will just add, this is still considered as altcoin and so with that, there is the risk, a huge risk that it can de-pegged or the project will collapse, just saying. And it just another hype using the name of BTC.

So this is not a financial advise, but there is still just one Bitcoin, and projects that uses it's name is just another copy cut, like those bitcoin forks.

And in this case, just pegged on the price of bitcoin, so what not go directly and invest on bitcoin itself?
3013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: November 21, 2022, 11:40:46 AM
offering faucet will only bankrupt the casino, you can see that until 5 years ago there were many faucet sites so why today we have few faucet sites?

I dont think faucet will bankrupt the casino as long as the casino knows how to offer it effectively. Not all players in the casino claim the faucet all the time, who on earth will do claim small faucet all the time? The current situation where there are few casinos with faucet is that it is no longer effective promotion/marketing tool. Other reason can be because of the big number of abuse in the past when many abusers tried to make money from faucet with no intention to gamble at all.

Yeah, probably in this era, I don't think that abusers of faucets can bankrupt a casino. But it could be true in the old days as there are no safety nets and probably casino are not equipped to deal with bonus farmings and other exploits that early gamblers used.

There could still be some sites that have faucets, not sure though, if I remember correctly, I used a sites like 2019 for faucets to just play again and again. But I grew tired of faucets.
3014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 21, 2022, 11:14:09 AM
The Warriors just ended the road curse.  Grin
Steph Curry celebrating like a thorn was pulled out from his body. A lot of things have to be celebrated though and one of them is Klay Thompson who had been playing better in their last two games.
He finished the game with 10/13 in 3-point shots, that's the Klay we loved to watch. Steph had 33 points and 15 assists.
The splash brothers are back!

Ya, it was crazy how many road games they lost. It’s now the longest dry streak for a defending champion. I loved seeing that Klay is back. He needed this. Combining to score 74 points with Steph is scary. Splash Brothers are definitely back.

Anthony Davis had another big night as the Lakers smashed the Spurs and won another game while LeBron James is out with an injury.
74 points, yeah! They are going to be back in the top 8 in the West if they can continue playing like that.
Now, it's Jordan Poole who is struggling to find his offense. 3 games with 25+ minutes scoring 10, 13, and, 2. As I watch the game, I saw how bad his shooting is and that cannot happen especially if he is leading the bench team.
Before, they are good at preserving the lead thanks to him, but it's been quite a struggle in their previous games that the starters need to come back early to save the game.

But Klay though has to cover up Poole's scoring slump as he had a good game tonight.

As compare to Davis, who can't have a off night since Lebron is still out, and so he has to carry the bulk of the team's scoring and so far in 3 games he is on course and if I'm not mistaken, I've read that he is the first player since Shaq to have like 30 points + 10 or 15 more rebounds in 3 consecutive games. Not sure how long Davis can maintain his form, we already know how delicate his body is, but hopefully he won't get injured again so that we can see the West being competitive up to the 8 spot.
3015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of Baccarat on: November 21, 2022, 10:51:36 AM
You play back the history of Baccarat gambling, now you remind me of one of the secret agent films played by James Bond, they play Baccarat great and cool.

Indeed, if you look at the history of Baccarat cards and their origins, as you said, I've tried to take luck in the game of Baccarat, although the Baccarat game is not as popular as other card games, for example: poker & Blackjack, but from the history I've read, the Baccarat game is the most loved by gambling bettors around the world.

As far as I know the history of the emergence of online & land-based baccarat gambling is still said to be confusing, but the history you say is a larger percentage for the authenticity of the origin of baccarat, for its good looks and can survive in online casinos to this day.
It's because there is no skills needed in baccarat, but I enjoy it playing more as compare to black jack.

Again, it's really hard to say who invented it as it can go back hundreds of years or at least with the invention of cards. Nevertheless it's really very simply, chances to win are high as compare to other games.

Again, this is just me, I find it funny though when players look at certain pattern as who is going to win next, for me this is just gamblers fallacy.
Really? I always thought that all card games are based on skill and there are also people who claim themselves as a pro baccarat player but they are seem to be legit because they have proofs. What about poker and blackjack? What do you think about these two card games? Do you think they are skill-based or luck based? But, I can agree that baccarat is more enjoyable than in blackjack. I think that's because baccarat is played by more than two cards.

I am not familiar on the pic that you share but why there is only three letters on it? And those letters are not found on the deck of a card but there must be a special explanation with it from those who are really pro in this game.

Maybe you are talking about poker or blackjack  that needed skills, black jack for example, you can take advantage by card counting.

But in baccarat, there's no such thing, it's based on pure luck, and there are no trends or whatsoever, there result of the next card whether or banker or player is independent of the previous result. And if those who think otherwise, I will say that it's a gamblers fallacy.

I'm send a lot of patterns, jumping, successive runs on getting the player or bank, but still you don't know the next result, could be either or draw.

They can claim as professional baccarat player, definitely, you can win big, but then again, still based on pure luck for me.
3016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 20, 2022, 11:57:33 PM
It seems that the bear market is not over yet. While it is difficult to predict exactly when a bear market will end, based on past trends, it could take a while. So, the thing that can be done to survive in the current bear market situation is to hold the asset in the long term rather than focusing on its current price. Moreover, many portfolios have been hurt by bear markets and may take longer to recover.
It's true that we have to wait long time to recover our portfolio but it will be starting to recover soon. It's time to hold strongly for long term and if possible it's good period to buy more to fill our bags. Many investors are in the loss and they're waiting for good time. We can't predict exactly when market will start for bull run but if we are able to hold strongly, we can get good ROI in the future.

It won't recover soon, we just had one of the biggest collapsed in crypto with the FTX crashed, and it's even compare to Mt. Gox or Enron. And I'm seeing that this could be dragging us down till the next year or until the bullish market started, and this is going to happen right after the bitcoin halving in 2024.

So it will take a lot of toll from us, others might not survived and just quit.

But for those who have been in the market already, and have seen the cycle, this is just a big test and all we can do is face and stomach and man it up. Crypto will recover, it will and has been, we just have to be patience at this trying time.
3017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A reminder about the media on: November 20, 2022, 11:36:01 PM
You really have to learn how to read between the lines. Crypto based media is one of the worst journalism that you can get, I mean those writers didn't do research and probably just putting articles there to create FUD.

And I think this has been the subject this 2017, as far as I can remember. There was even one thread just to have all this negative news.

So yeah, we shouldn't believed what we all see in the internet specially if it's about crypto and what is going on around with the market. Those media outlet could have some narrative and try to spin every news to create confusion and panic.
3018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: November 20, 2022, 11:24:15 PM
Just for the record, Anthony Yarde just blasted Stefani Koykov in 3 rounds last Sunday that's why this fight has been set up.

And so this is the big KO win: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pA7cN665pG0

Good body puncher though, but he has the tendency to put his hands down and Beterviev could exploit that in their fight. For sure Yarde is ready, he looks sharp here, but Beterviev is a different fighter, he is the top dog in this division.

3020  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: November 20, 2022, 10:54:57 PM
After I started my Bitcoin holding journey a few months ago,
At that time, my close friend Sam! also have some capital he want to put away in cryptocurrency, and I advised him to buy Bitcoin instead of an altcoin. But instead of him to have a long-term potential mentality, he was looking for a quick profit so he filled up his portfolio with shitcoin, while I went in on a single portfolio of Bitcoin and when the unexpected of FTX hack happen the whole market in shamble and his altcoin portfolio have dropped above %800+ but my bitcoin holding still maintains some level of stability.

This gives me more confidence in Bitcoin and newbie who are looking for long-term holding should hold more bitcoin, in their private wallet to avoid exchange, but your knowledge to always have a good entry price.

And that is the mentality of newbies, they didn't understand the risk involved with altcoins, it's high risk as compare to Bitcoin. Of course, as we are in a bear market, the price of BTC will go down hard and maybe that is the reason why they don't like to invest on it and go for altcoins that they thought will bring them huge profits, but as I have said, the risk is high as well.

And so it is an easy choice, specially if you are hear for the long term kind of investment, bitcoin is the best asset in crypto and I think one of the best if you are going to compare it with traditional investments like stocks and golds.

So good for you to stick with bitcoin in this bear market and just continue to accumulate.
