I'm receiving these kind of messages from different users in twitter and all most of them were hot chick expecting i will be lured by their profile and this kind of too good to be true offers lol.

Like, if you think about it, you will have full control of the funds since you have access of the private key and you can get all of those coins instead. Like if this is legit the chance of them recovering those coins is near zero since they don't know these random people online where they asked for help.

Here's one of the message in twitter and the list of hot chick messaging me for help. Those message is similar to others.

3023  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 16-July-22] on: July 25, 2022, 01:57:31 PM
As of now, you can only submit your candidature in way to enter into campaign, but at the moment, you can also continue to work for another campaign. Within 1st August I'll decide who is elegible, and from 1st August

the one that is elegible in the campaign will must have to wear signature.
Yes, as of now. It will change soon as you post the required signature and required applicants wear it, unless you do it in august one or a day before.

Why not complicate things and remove that particular requirement (wearing signature on application time) instead. I know you want to be unique to other managers but that thing is considered as free advertising in any way especially those who will not be accepted.

doesn't mean nothing from the moment that I've posted that first sentence in the thread. Anyway, edited.
Checked again the thread and it looks much more clearer.

and i'm able to send to the new wallet from mycelium
Take note that with using legacy addresses, you have to pay more transaction fee and it's always recommended to use segwit addresses.
This. Coz using that console command will generate legacy address.

For you to enable the segwit address, you can follow the medium link given by @OmegaStarScream and choose "native segwit(p2wpkh)" instead the "legacy(p2pkh)" after checking the "bip seed".

- using native segwit (bc1) will give lot of advantage including lower transaction fees than legacy.
3027  Other / Meta / Re: Ignore account PM on: July 23, 2022, 07:45:45 PM
The ignore user option[1] is only for posts based on its feature's description since there is an ignore pm feature too (mentioned above).

3028  Economy / Services / Re: Pay for me on fiverr.com with Paypal for Bitcoin. on: July 23, 2022, 07:22:38 PM
to be honest, connecting Paypal, Bank card payment accounts with someone's Fiverr account is not a good idea at all. everything can be compromised very easily.
I wonder how easy is that very easily. because you can't do that in just connecting your paypal to fiverr or any website that has linked to paypal feature payment. Paypal does not work that way.

Besides you can pay only using paypal checkout without linking your paypal to fiverr.

Yes, you can just use your account instead of him on buying stuff there. But i see the only reason why op is doing this is because it will give his fiverr account a review from the seller (well, optional) and make his account more mature with at least one activity.
Plus new account (if ever his account is new) have some discount on its first purchase.

but at the same time OP is giving access of his fiverr account to another unknown person which is also not a good idea. The person will evil mind can ruin the account too.
That's the risks of what op is trying to do. Well, there's nothing to lose of sharing your fiverr credentials for this kind of stuff, there's nothing in there aside from having a balance. Well, who would in the right mind will share its fiverr account credentials if ever there is a balance on it.
Well, if ever you have linked paypal for easy buy, you can report it immediately on paypal for dispute and remove the access manually on its settings.

You cannot ruin someones fiverr too unless you (the bad actor) made an order using your money (if there's no balance obviously) giving 1 star review to seller then seller gives you 1 star review too. I see no other things to ruin soneones fiverr account aside a seller gives a 1 star review though.
3029  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Safest Exchanges in the World on: July 22, 2022, 02:40:50 PM
Binance, FTX, Huobi and Okx are the leading exchange that least can encounter bankruptcy among all the CEX available on crypto right now.
There's no best exchange. But i agree the mentioned exchanges above at least you are insured (this is based on exchanges recent hack incidents such binance) that even a hacked incident happened your funds will stay there.

Of course, when you consider such statements you're disregarding the risks and safety measures of "not your keys, not your coins" idea.
3030  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Google Ads Updates its Policy towards Crypto on: July 21, 2022, 03:06:57 AM

I doubt it's real reason why Google have strict rule on cryptocurrency advertising. To this day, we still see news where people got scammed due to fake website or application from google ads. IMO they're doing it to avoid attention from government.
You might be correct, but fortunately, i didnt see any news related to scams in google ads lately, some news discussing incidents months ago or even already a year ago.

Also, the action is indeed good for their business to avoid government in any way and mostly to the people or the newbies that keep using google search and youtube.

Another thing that I noticed is that other countries don't have this policy how about the other countries?
Like Russia, this is unfair unless if they totally blocked all Russian people to Google?
It was disabled including the showing of ads (if i understand correctly) and advertisers based on Russia.

I observed that the year of all the signature are outdated it says "10 years" and it is still "2019" it's already 2022 and should be 13 years already instead?
Anyway I decided to update it. Or it's not necessary?

Credits still should be to the creator of these signature.

Thanks for the heads up but you were 1 minute slower than me.  Tongue
Ooof, I see what you did there.  Grin
3032  Economy / Service Discussion / Google Ads Updates its Policy towards Crypto on: July 20, 2022, 04:03:27 AM
It happens when I'm searching bitcoin/crypto related keywords yet there's no ads showing in the google search using different browsers and starting to wonder why. So I research and found this link from google[1].

It mentioned that it requires the advertisers docs and certificates from the country's central banks or authorized body for having the certificate of having a crypto business in one country.
And I said why this wasn't a think before? It will probably lessen the scams from google services' ads (google search and youtube) especially newbies who are trying to make a research and unfortunately clicked the ads where scam or fake websites worst malware and then experienced the dark side of crypto because of scammers/hackers.

Simply check the "last topics started by this person"[1], I found at least 3 campaigns he managed in its first page, you can find more (i guess) if you continue to the other pages.

That is how they end up the website name "Teleport" (/ˈtel.ə.pɔːrt/).

3036  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin still remains the leading cryptocurrency in the world. on: July 19, 2022, 09:53:47 AM
Understand first what you're talking. Bitcoin is not mysterious, you can read its whitepaper and why it is made, and its purpose. And no one controls bitcoin including its creator, that's why its called decentralized.

Altcoins may vary to its purpose, those who have strong foundation last thats why people still using them while on the other hand most of them now are useless, scam, spam, etc.
3037  Other / Meta / Re: Museum of Bitcoin, Bitcointalk avatars [Community-led] on: July 19, 2022, 07:51:57 AM
I'm currently wearing the signature made by BitcoinDream, but the "Peer to peer electronic cash system" can't be read because of white text color and there orange glow isnt working properly the same on the "Wallet".

That signature set is for Hero/ Legendary member rank.

You can not use it with full effects because of your rank limitation.
That's why lol. I thought its okay for my rank, just realized that there is for sr. too, although the hero/legendary doesn't have the label.

Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Then newbies will be less effective advertisers, which would hopefully significantly reduce the incentive for low-content posts. And when people become capable of effectively advertising through their signatures, they'll have invested a lot of time into their accounts, and they won't risk being banned by spamming.
Another, refresher, I just forgot how the heck this signature works, oof.

-Signature, updated. Thanks.
3038  Other / Meta / Re: Any idea why I can not merit a specific post? on: July 18, 2022, 11:49:41 AM
Are you sure you don't have that board on ignore?
Local > Deutsch (German) > Altcoins (Deutsch)

PX-Z said he tried to ignore the "Deutsch (German)" board, but actually, when I ignored the "Altcoins (Deutsch)" board, I got the same message:

Yeah, you're right, what i have ignored is the Deutsch (German)  thinking that all the sub-board of german will automatically ignored too. So i tried to ignore particularly the "Altcoins (Deutsch)" and hit the merit button then got the same error.
3039  Other / Meta / Re: Any idea why I can not merit a specific post? on: July 18, 2022, 11:04:41 AM
Based on theymos' post...
Permissions and ignored-boards can also cause info to be missing per-user. In this case I think that it happened because The Pharmacist is ignoring the board in which that post resides.

The ignored-boards page says, "Be advised that by ignoring a board it will be completely inaccessible to you." How it works is that almost all forum systems view you as being not allowed to see the board, just like hidden boards. This is also why you can't quote a post in an ignored board.
So I tried to ignored the board "Deutsch (German)" thinking it will give me the same error and then tried to give merit and it through, you can see the post too. I wonder what are the conditions should be meet to encounter that error message, yet you cannot do it in the other hand since you say you didn't ignore the board.
3040  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Overview] Bitcointalk Services from Bitcointalk Members on: July 17, 2022, 03:08:56 PM
Yeah, a refresher list but all in one.

I can only say is, accounts that has negative reviews especially those who are unlawfully labeled here as a scammer or encourage scams should not be in the list.

Because to me, it sounds like you are still suggesting to use their service even though they were labeled as scammers in any way.
