3021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 27, 2021, 04:34:00 AM
Loma is back, he won via RSC (referee stop contest), in round 9. It was a total mismatch as Loma started very aggressive in the first round. They even had a accidental head butt, but it was above the eye so it didn't bothered him.

I would say that he is like 90% in this fight, we wait for Lopez vs Kambosos fight. If Teofimo Lopez win, then perhaps we should see a rematch. Congrats to those who beat on Loma here.
3022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 27, 2021, 01:45:31 AM
Clippers struggling from the outside, they have missed a lot of three point shot in the first quarter. Suns up 29-20. Ayton is killing them inside, while Booker taking Zubac one on one and they have a nice lay-up.

It's a physical game, technical fouls have been called. Clippers need to shot and hit that basket, and make it close. Lots of games ahead, so lets see how the Clippers will come out in the 2nd quarter.
3023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 26, 2021, 10:15:29 PM
I do not think that it would be fair to put all of it on Trae Young. Kid is just a young player who I know normally scores more and only had 15 but the reality is that they got scored 125 and that is not all on him, they needed better offense to match that and Trae wasn't the only one missing. All in all it is still a road game and they got one on the road, it is great to be 1-1 after first two games when you are not at home.

The same in the last game of Suns, Booker just scored 15 and even CP13. It's not always that this superstar can deliver huge numbers. The most important things to look at is how they are going to rebound after that bad performance.

If they are lucky they could beat Bucks twice in a row in Atlanta and that would allow them to be up 3-1, which we all know is not guarantee of a series win in NBA, we have seen many 3-1 comebacks but at this stage of the game I would say the difference between the teams are not that big to make a huge comeback and nobody in Bucks could cover that difference for 3 games in a row. So Hawks just needs to focus on this next 2 games, very crucial.

Right, they are in their home court, so they are comfortable. They will take it one game at a time, and who knows, they can be up 3-1 in this series. Both are aiming for the finals, so they will give everything at this point. Hope though that there are no more injuries from either teams superstars. We want to see a good and fair match wherein their respective superstars are are performing high level basketball.

He is a good news anchor but not an analyst.
He's only good at creating drama or entertainment with the way he talks on screen and some gullible fans buy that.

Quote
They just need information about them but in the end, it will be Bucks until the end, "Sorry for the Hawks fans."
It's a tactical game and whoever utilizes their advantage over the other team to the fullest wins. It's height for the Bucks and quickness for the Hawks.

Let's see what adjustments the Hawks will make for game 3.

Or probably Steph A has it's own narrative behind attacking or defending certain players or teams.

Yes, for sure the Hawks will make a lot of adjustments after that huge lost last game. This is already the finals, these teams didn't reach that far to falter and don't know how to adapt after a lost. I'm expecting the Hawks to be back in this series in game 3.
3025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks to allow customers the option of hodling, selling and buying bitcoin on: June 26, 2021, 03:45:56 PM
What views do you have on this?

Good to hear that banks finally crypto, but it's going to be custodial one, so there's no difference from the money you put in a bank. And it defeats the purpose of decentralisation, but others could view this as safe because there are investors, specially those early bagholders who lost their bitcoins because they didn't safeguard it.

On the other hand, we have a saying here "BYOB", so for me there's nothing wrong, but I still prefer to have and hold my own bitcoins and having total control of it.
3026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 25, 2021, 05:38:17 AM
That is Casimero's style, he is so brandish and arrogant in every fight, but it brings the best out of him. And he can back up his talk, because in his last couple of fights, he knock out his opponent.

So Donaire is no different, he needs to open that big mouth of his and starts somewhat of a war in social media. But Donaire is not responding, not seeing him talk trash but saying that he has advantage on speed, skills and he has the timing. As what he has said, "don't hook on a hooker". This might be true as Donaire has one of the best left hook in the game even though he is old already.
3027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 25, 2021, 04:30:12 AM
^^ And you can see the Suns frustrations here, Booker getting 3 consecutive fouls in matter of minutes. Chris Paul missing shots that he used to make, Crowder fouling out. So overall, it's a tough battle for the Suns at Clippers home court.

But they still lead the series, but the Clippers has the momentum. Pat Beverly hitting a 3 at the corner really seal the deal and then that hook shot. I think defensively and offensively, he is the difference in this game.
3028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 25, 2021, 03:38:57 AM
Winning streak is over for the Suns, the Clippers started hot in the second half and Booker and Chris Paul has a horrendous shooting night. Pat Beverly and Reggie Jackson hitting big baskets for the Clippers. While PG13 is very consistent and just redeem himself with a big win in game 3.

I like how they play defense on Booker here, and I'm sure he is affected by his nose injury still. Even though he doesn't want to admit it.
3029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Tank Davis vs Barrios - June 26 on: June 25, 2021, 03:21:52 AM
The decision  and draw looks very attractive.

But I don't see it happening, with Tank Davis, we all know that he can bring his power to this weight class so most likely we will have a knock out here.

Davis by KO is 1.62
Barrios by KO is 7.20

They really underestimate Barrios with such odd, this isn't on stake nor on sportsbet because I just checked them. But this is just merely because Davis is popular. So much risk when you think about both to be good fighters with all their knockout rates.

If they really will stand their ground to give it all, the fight could end in one round given how much power they could put in one punch. Davis got all his opponents in TKO except 1 which all in all 24 fights.

I think this is on sportsbet.io mate,

Perhaps it was due to Davis record of knocking out his opponents early and not going into distance. No disrespect to Barrios, but once he taste some of the power of Davis, he might switch to being a boxer and not go toe to toe. But I'm not sure if he can knock out Barrios in one round. Probably mid to late rounds could be a good prediction here.

3030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 24, 2021, 11:22:11 PM
You can obviously see the height difference, but you can see the Loma is somewhat measuring the distance already, hehehe. No trash talking because of the language barrier, but we all know that Loma doesn't trash talk unless you start it. And Loma says he want to get another crack at Teofimo Lopez.
I am expecting a good showdown by Vasiliy Lomachenko against Masayoshi Nakatani if he is really looking for a rematch against Teofimo Lopez and he needs to finish the fight and make a statement and i am expecting Lomachenko to win against Teofimo Lopez if they have a rematch as he will be looking to finish the fight rather than going to the judges decision.

Yeah, he seems to be eager on having a rematch with Teofimo Lopez because of pride. But first he needs to impressively win against Nakatani and then talk about Lopez after the fight. But then we have to wait for the Lopez vs Kambosos later, as it was moved to August. If the money is right, and for sure this is a win-win for Bob Arum since both are his stable fighters, the rematch could be made early next year. Specially that sporting fans are now allowed to watch the match live.
3031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 24, 2021, 02:26:21 PM
Chris Paul returns in Game 3. It's still not clear how serious Kawhi Leonard's injury is, but he will definitely not play in today's match. It does not bode well for Clippers, which are already losing 2-0 in the series. In previous games, the Clippers have tried different ways to stop the Suns, but to no avail. With CP3 on the pitch it will be even more difficult, as he perfectly reads all the opponent's plays. I will bet on another Suns victory today.

Kawhi's injury is serious, that's why I would say that we won't see him in this series against the Suns. As compare to Chris Paul who didn't play because of covid-19 health protocols. The thing that goes with Clippers is that they have been in this predicament before, even against the top seed Utah Jazz so this is familiar territory. They just have to win one game at a time. And since the next game is in their homecourt, there's still a chance that they can get at least a win in game 3 and close the gap.

Odds for Clippers are now @1.98 from as high as @2.02 ML.
3032  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many more times should you fall for the same FUD before you learn? on: June 24, 2021, 05:06:21 AM
^^ Who wouldn't be in the mood to drink? there is nothing to celebrate when you see your business giving you so much profit in the last 8 years or so suddenly went into a halt because your government doesn't want you to continue your business because of 'implications".  Smiley

For sure majority of them can't get out of China to continue mining, so the only options is to sell some bitcoin to bring food into the table for their families. Not sure what alternatives for these Chinese miners right now.
3033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 24, 2021, 03:35:25 AM
Trae Young doing the shimmy:

48 points
11 assists
7 rebounds

Just 22 years of age, tying Lebron James accomplishments for the most by a player at age 22 or younger in a Conference or Division Finals game. He is really a superstar, no doubt about it.
3034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: June 23, 2021, 04:04:26 AM
Hard to say, but based on what I have been observing since I joined the market, there is no pattern. But the market reacts to every news so that's the first thing that you can look at. But the first thing I do is check on crypto related websites and see if there is any that could have affected the market.

If none, then obviously, maybe speculators are cashing out and taking profits and then it will be followed by weak hands selling because they panic when seeing their portfolio going down.
3035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time is now! on: June 23, 2021, 03:27:03 AM
I had few coins on that list, however, WPP I forgot to swap it and I'm not sure if the projects are still willing up to this day, didn't check.

But regarding your call, yeah, it's obvious as the price of major alt coins are now down from it's ath like BTC, another sale, 50% discount.

And then majority of the top 10 altcoins as well, if I still have extra funds to buy those altcoins, I will definitely get them and fill by bags again. And for those who think that we are in a bearish sentiment, yes it could be, but we all know how volatile and unstable the market are. And history tells us that during the last quarter, the price can really pick it up and maybe some of them will achieved new ath.
3036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 23, 2021, 02:50:37 AM
Why not Loma by a knock out?

I'm leaning towards Lomachenko rounds 7-9 @5.40. That is an attractive odds and it's possible that Vasyl an break down Nakatani in early rounds with accurate jabs and body shots. Nakatani usually bleeds early so that could also be a big factor for finishing him in rounds 7 to 9 in my opinion.
3037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is moving mining out of China a bad thing? on: June 23, 2021, 02:10:07 AM
Sorry for the noob question but if the mining goes on outside of China, isn't that a good thing? At the very least, there is the semblance of law and business rights.

Yeah, at least there is no single country that has the total monopoly of bitcoin mining. If I'm not mistaken, China or at least the Chinese miners control 60%-70% of it.

Also, if China bans mining, wouldn't that increase the scarcity?
Again, not a veteran. Just wondering why the negative sentiment?

Not really increase the scarcity, the hash rate might fall, but when some entities pick up mining outside of China then we can go back to the normal rate.
3038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miami’s mayor looks to woo Chinese bitcoin miners on: June 20, 2021, 04:17:35 AM
Mayor Francis Suarez told CNBC that Miami is working to lower the cost of electricity in order to entice bitcoin miners to make the move to Florida.
Suarez is looking to patriate China’s mining diaspora by promoting the city’s essentially unlimited supply of cheap nuclear energy.

$10.x cents per kilowatt hour? that's not attractive for Chinese miners to simply move to Miami. It's too expensive so it's tough to break even if that is the cost of electricity.

If the Mayor is really that serious, he has to work some bargain with so that the miners might consider expatriating. But who wouldn't love the Mayor though, his pro-bitcoin and pro-crypto stance should be copy by other states.
3039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 20, 2021, 03:45:35 AM
Donaire still.

One reason is that he got a big win, knocking out his opponent. And it seems that he loves to fight and used his left hook to an opponent smaller than him, Vic D, Montiel and others. So I"m leaning him to win by knock out with that vaunted left hook of his. I do hope that they won't go soft on each other though as both are Filipinos and well respected, specially Donaire.
3040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 20, 2021, 03:16:30 AM
Durant another monster game, he almost won the game with that 3 2.

Now we are going into OT, I'm feeling that the Nets will blow this up. Bucks looks very tired so let's see if they are going to choke. Holiday and Middleton and Giannis will have to double their effort here.

If not for the miss free throws though, Bucks could have won the game already.
