3021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mixer Detection in 2021 on: November 06, 2021, 06:23:01 AM
I am wondering, whether what I read online makes much sense in regards to exchanges "banning" mixing services.
I tried it and it seems not. I have tried to mix very small amounts through various mixers and used an account on a major exchange to see wheter they will have a problem with it (as they claim) or not.
Fact is no issues after weeks.

I wonder if in 2021, with the level the mixers have reached with delayed payouts etc., it is still possible to detect wheter a UTXO has been created by a mixing transaction or not.

I have no interest in mixing coins but care for analytical reasons only. I (maybe someone does) would not know what heuristic approach would be working where you don't have uncertainty to an extent where it makes no sense to call it information.

It will take months or even years for them to identify if your trading volume is very low under their radar and the special investigation will be taken only if the funds are too huge so there is no wonder that your account on the banned exchanges may work for next few months.

Now we are talking about the context its not very easy to find the transaction based on the tracking alone that is where the regulation will plays a role and the mixing service itself have to expose them if I am not wrong.
3022  Other / Meta / Re: May be there were not much attention to this plagiarism on: November 05, 2021, 05:39:39 PM
There's an admin note on his account so he might have already been banned/unbanned at one point:

Admin investigation required for any plagiarism report before November 03, 2020, 10:25:02 AM
Interesting, so yes plagiarism handled case by csse and rarely the user might get a second chance but since the user is actually supposed to receive some kind of punishment like signature ban that was in practice when some of the old members get caught for plagiarism in their early days. Anyway still this case is strange since the plagiarized post wasn't too old to convince that this mistake was done in the early days.
3023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Genting Casinos awarded for their safer betting standards on: November 05, 2021, 04:44:03 PM
I am not sure how big the achievement is actually but people do really care about safety on a casino?

If you are talking about safety of our betting money then wven operating casino should be awarded with such rewards since they are being fair and giving the rewards to the winners.

If we talk about my country (Russia), then people here are very worried about the reliability of casinos and bookmakers. There are many organizations with murky jurisdictions here and they operate according to the laws of the wild market - as long as you lose everything goes well, but if you win then it can be difficult or almost impossible to get your winnings. Therefore, I do not waste time on research, but use proven crypto casinos and bookmakers.
But with the evolution of internet now users can pick the most trusted and reliable casinos on different payment options and when we are taking about Russia I don't think most crypto gambling sites are not restricting them so they can make use of the trusted gambling sites on the internet.
3024  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 05, 2021, 02:57:03 PM
If rich people want to eliminate the hunger from this world then its certainly possible but I don't think this will happen in the long run, only rich people will exist as long as there are poor people who will be ready to give their effort to make your boss rich. Probably just for a publicity stunt and Elon is famous at doing with free of cost by tweets.
3025  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: November 05, 2021, 02:03:40 PM
Are you a fan of live casino and slot games? there's a lot of variety on winz.io

Sometimes casinos will put your bet on hold for verification purpose because this might be involved with huge money meanwhile if you didn't violate any of their terms then you can and you will get your money. And the site recommendation depends on what kind of gambler you are, for sportbetting stake is the best site at the moment for dice there are lots out there.
It is true that whenever you'll be flagged as huge withdrawal, they have to put you on hold and ask for some verifications first which is the KYC. And you have no time to complain with that if that what happens to you. You have to be responsive and obedient if your money is affected.
That is why the gamblers should be aware of all their terms even if there is no mandatory KYC they might ask KYC at any time and also usage of VPN should be avoided if the casino is against multiple accounts because we created only one account but when we connected to VPN there is a chance that someone already used the same IP to register there so users may lose their money.
and with the restrictions given by government differently , gambling site has no way to decide from their own because they will be mandatorily given what needed to be done.
so either no KYC requirements today but there might be tomorrow so the only thing to deal with it? that expect KYC verification any time given that you are playing Online gambling for your own contentment and not to be disappointed in time.
Mandatory KYC is imposed by the government which can't be in the hands of gambling sites but sometimes site is also using this KYC as a weapon to stop paying the huge rewards in case if the Gambler violated terms or can't able to verify the real identity for some reasons.

Everyone is treated in the same way but every report will be handled case by case and also forum have different mods and different global mods so we can't assume everyone will think in the same way but when a thread is posted in wrong section it will be moved to the right section by the respective mod no matter who created the thread.

Lol, here's one Spam Buster's personal story.
Probably not really an attractive one but I just wanted to create one after seeing the story! Kiss

To be honest both spam hunting and scam hunting is not an easy task, as @TheBeardedBaby we start at something but end up finding a whole farm but the time needed to do all this things need hours and hours in a day so real kudos to everyone who is consistently doing it.

And I know many people stopped reporting the posts because its like we have to do it forever but if the spammers can do it all the day then why not we? Wink
3031  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting things off your list. on: November 02, 2021, 02:57:17 PM
snip~
Even we can take Warren Buffett as an example why the delayed gratification will give more success than buying everything as soon as we can and the real fact is the list is going to be never ending, if we buy a new latest Apple products it will be old by the next year so we have to buy new launched gadgets which is waste of money.
3032  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting things off your list. on: November 02, 2021, 06:36:35 AM
Try out this strategy, strike things quickly out of your need/want list and be content, so they no longer become a problem and hindrance to your plans to save/invest.

If you plan to buy a house for your comfort, and it is within your means, seek out a way to get it done quickly.

If you plan to get a car, as you feel you are ripe enough for it, and there's a means to get it, don't hesitate, get it quickly off your list.

if you plan to buy a home equipment, electronics or furniture,  and it is super important to you and your comfort, buy it and get it off your list.

The longer you wait at times, the more prices increase, things are not getting cheaper, the longer you wait the more the thought of this need bugs your mind.

You are wrong and completely wrong, have you heard of delayed gratification?

You might have need and want list but both are not same, more you delay the want list then more chances to become less and lesser.

And when you have atleast 10 times more cash than the cost of your wanted product in your bank account then just go for buying it.
3033  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Does anyone use cryptocurrencies to buy assets and services? on: November 02, 2021, 04:03:01 AM
I would like to know if anyone here uses cryptocurrencies to buy assets and services, I would also like to know if most companies accept crypto you would buy and why not buy such a service.Would they buy food in crypto?
I certainly would buy food or just about anything if there were so many merchants in my local area accepting crypto payments. Right now I most use crypto to make online purchases, subscriptions and refills plus.

Most people in the communities still don't know the advantages of crypto and when you talk to them about Bitcoin, the first thing that they will think is that it's scam. So there's still some negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies in general.

I liked your answers, thank you, I live in Brazil, the acceptance is low, but we have advanced in the market, there is already a card machine that accepts payment in bitcoin and a bank that gives cashback for purchases in bitcoin. Per hour. I'm asking the community this question because I've developed a system that accepts the payment of 200 cryptocurrencies as it settles on time and pays for the goods in the local currency. I am creating my company in europe to be able to supply the system + goods and services

If you asked this to know the opinions about developing your project then you are supposed to be in the project development sections where you may get the ideas about further development anyways bitcoin and cryptos are actually used as payments as well on various ways as their country allows them to do.
3034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 02, 2021, 03:39:47 AM
Probably that is the new normal, especially due to the pandemic most part of the world pushed themselves under lockdown to contain the spread of coivd which reduced the entertainment availability so people went with the available choice and gambling is one of them so there is no wonder though.
3035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sent USDT To ETH address on Coinbase, but coinbase refuse to assist! Help urgent on: November 01, 2021, 04:48:01 PM
OP, I have a question did you send USDT to the coinbase wallet or Coinbase exchange since both are basically different if I am not wrong and also coinbase wallet doesn't support any tokens since I had used but don't know what is the situation now.

Anyway you're chances are really less to recover those funds since coinbase is known for their shittiest support even though the mistake is on their side it will take months or years to get the money back.

What about the hot wallets now, still anyone feeling the withdrawal processing delays because I didn't find anyone complaining about their withdrawal nowadays on this thread.

The last withdrawal I had from the site took over two weeks to process. I don't feel like going through all that again.
But when did that happen exactly after Lightlord paid their signature campaign participants? But I would like to know what is happening after this, one of the reputed member claimed that his withdrawal was processed immediately so I guess the hot wallet got enough refill to handle the withdrawals.
I get that you can withdraw now, but what about later on? I mean people are talking about something that is basically just not what it looks like in the long run. Sure you could see hot wallet filled now, it could be filled by lightlord himself, or it could be some guy losing money in bunches that made it filled, in any case it is filled now and that is what people are focusing on.

What happens if he is not around for another 10 weeks? What happens if he is never around ever again? What happens if he is so sick that he couldn't possibly open a PC? All in all this method of "let's wait for lightlord" is the root cause of all the problems and you have to accept this is not a permanent solution.
Yeah, the site need to adopt the condition since there are lot of competition already in the crypto gambling market even a reputable and old casino should evolve to stay in the concept hope Lightlord will learn from this and move on from the old school method of refilling the wallet by himself alone in the future.
3037  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack making 120,000 dollars disappear from my account! on: November 01, 2021, 03:06:20 PM
Would you kindly tell me if you believe that the probability of them refunding a duplicate bet that lost is greater than 0.0%.

Yes, as per FJ answer above I would expect them to refund duplicate bets that exceed 100k (i.e. invalid bet according to their TOS).

Let us know if you experienced otherwise.

I am not the only person playing at FJ. Let other players tell us about if that happened to them, but as far as I'm concerned I'm done with this idea of yours because it's so stupid and can only fool 0.1% of people and thus not interesting to me.
It may look unfair but when they have such terms in their TOS then its accepted by the community but did they gave any explanation about clearing your bet history which seems oit of their terms if I am not wrong which is like erasing the available evidence against them.
3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why LTC stuck on same price range? on: October 31, 2021, 03:53:42 PM
When you have expections of your coins to perform same as another coin then it has less chances, no coin is connected directly in terms of price movements so it all comes with the investors approach. Probably more people are going towards hyoed coins for example shiba and Doge which jas no reason to exist still people are ready to invest.
3039  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self excluded from Stake - but cannot make withdrawal. on: October 31, 2021, 01:31:52 PM
And why he decided to create this thread? Why he doesn`t want just to wait or to contact with the support privately? I don`t see any reason for Stake to help OP in any way. May be my example is rough enough but the main idea is true. If Stake will help to one thread - next user will not wait but will create a new same thread.
As per Stake's ToS, OP is within his right to make a withdrawal request even if he is self excluded. Self exclusion is meant to help gamblers with their gambling problems by preventing them from placing bets. But it doesn't give the casino the right to confiscate your money.
OP did contact their customer support but they denied his request, obviously because of their ignorance of their own terms! So what should he wait for?
Anyway, I suppose his case was resolved since he hasn't been active here for days.
Sorry, i was wrong. In such dispute i`ve forgot about the beginning. I read the first post again and see that OP made his steps to decide a problem. He just could to make this post in the Stake thread or pm to Stake official member may be.
But i think the problem is solved if we don`t see him for days.
Not everyone knows everything, if you don't know anything just ask that is why the forum is here and even stake appointment representative to handle such things such like every other platforms. When you are frustrated seeking guidance about what to do is a wise choice than doing everything on their own.
3040  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Stability - Get yourself non ending economic circle. on: October 31, 2021, 12:38:42 PM
I think you need to read the book completely to understand the concept of multiple income sources to attain the financial stability, yes its actually roght but if you are making money from multiple sources but from the same sector you are taking all the risks just as a single source of income.

The sources should be from different sectors with different risk levels so you can survive if one or two sources are completely down for whatever reasons.
