Most of them don't offer any advantages besides that they are scrypt based, so...
(litecoin, worldcoin, etc.)
It depends on what the community and large exchanges accept as "valid" currencies. Could happen to LTC, but future is hard to tell. |

Maybe you will want to describe and give more details of your ZenithCoin so that others can evaluate and maybe offer some good suggestions? Just giving the date isn't too much helpful.

Network still drop.  Yeah it's a lil frustrating but I refuse to stop mining. When realization settles in that the devs have major plans with this coin we'll see activity return to the network faster than it left! Plus you can still make about 100 PXC / day on 1000kh which is a better rate than a lot of other coins right now. That and PXC will only produce half the total coins FTC will produce Yup, me too. People only look at "CoinChoose" and "profitability" but that is only based on today's price. If you want to sell your mined coins today, look at "CoinChoose". If you want to hold for the great things that are coming, keep mining and forget "CoinChoose". If you would have looked at CoinChoose for BTC in 2010, maybe you wouldn't have mined Bitcoins then, but you would regret now you didn't. If you would have looked at CoinChoose for LTC in 2012, maybe you wouldn't have mined Litecoins then, but you would regret now you didn't. |

How about a new coin...call it Poker Chip Coin
You can mine the coin like normal, but you can also wager the chip back into the pot. Wagered chips give you less difficult future rounds (and higher odds of solving future blocks). But it would have to be a some mathematical odds for your wager. Almost like a lottery but with higher odds or greater possible returns. Is this doable?

Even if EZCoin ever hits Cryptsy, volume of sellers will be huge, volume of buyers is low. Look at the other LTC clones... If you sell 50,000 of any coin, price drops 400%... And there are people holding over 2-3x that amount of EZCoins...
My opinion: you are wasting your hashes on it if you think you will make profit.
I like the coin though.

Okay, so now scrypt-jane is using BLAKE 512 and Salsa 64. Also I rewrote GetNfactor() to make Nfactor increase more uniform.
cpuminer for Onecoin is coming soon (it should be a lot faster on 64 bit machines than the built-in miner).
BotNetCoin would be a better choice as a name. |
