3021  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin invest? on: August 23, 2021, 03:02:15 PM
Not neccesarily but a man that is not financially stable might not able to think of investing because he'll have to feed himself and worse if he has a family to take care of.
I won't agree with you. Have you ever notice any suicide attempts for losing crypto? If not then you may read Are Crypto-Related Suicides a Real Problem?. Believe or not many peoples even borrowing money to invest in crypto. Most small investors take chances to multiply investments within a short time. It's like gambling. That kind of investors become panic during price dumping. And they might sell holding as well in bad situations if need. So here is the financial stability stand for and it's mandatory for long investment IMO.
3022  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Tesla dogecoin fake airdrop website including bbc news fake website on: August 23, 2021, 05:14:20 AM
Adding another fake Tesla site to make it visibility in search.
Code:
 https://dogecampaign.cf
As usual, the scammer has been using the same script by replacing it with a new domain. This is a group of scammer who has been using the same script. So guys mark the script instead of the domain. I am just worried about brand new crypto users who aren't familiar with this type of scam. Hope they will take a lesson from here.
3023  Economy / Economics / Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin invest? on: August 23, 2021, 03:19:50 AM
We often notice rich people become rich day by day. It's no different for Bitcoin as well. Because we can see the most benefited person from Bitcoin is big investors, mean definitely they are rich. If you agree with me then why do you think most big investors are gainers and why most small investors can't gain.

For me, I think financial stability works behind our success in life. So same goes for Bitcoin investors as well. The rich person could invest for a long time. He doesn't have problems even he doesn't sell his holding even during very bear markets. A financially stable person even could hold 10 years. But like us who are small investors, we aren't stabled financially. As a result, we don't when we have to sell our holding for need. That's how we become losers even we intend to hold for a long time. I am a real example of that recently.

Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin investments?
3024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can lean investor become rich in Bitcoin on: August 23, 2021, 03:00:43 AM
We should know Bitcoin isn't a quick-rich scheme. But sadly that's often we have been thinking. That's the main reason why we are away from Bitcoin technology and it's one of the main reasons why always we have been facing losses. All investors have enough abilities to invest in Bitcoin except small investors like me. We aren't stable financially, but a real investor is definitely financially stabled. I know many people become rich and millionaires from Bitcoin, but on the other hand, many people came on the road as well. So always we wouldn't be lucky to become rich, it depends on many things. You often see the rich become richer always, there is reason and its financial stability.
3025  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stay away from user : mtowfiq (never trust) on: August 22, 2021, 05:05:22 PM
Thanks for sharing with us. But keep in mind, once you receive such as PM from someone, then report to admin for spreading phishing links before creating a thread since we can't verify either PM was sent or not. So the scammer will get an immediate Permaban from the forum. I often avoid clicking links sent from an untrusted person, either on the forum or outside a forum. Need to verify what link is behind the sent links. That's how attacker has been getting the access of our device or account. So be always careful especially if you are a cryptocurrency user.
3026  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] KudooChange - Fake Exchange on: August 22, 2021, 04:53:48 PM
I can't recall where exactly but most likely I heard this exchange name somewhere. It would be on Telegram or any other place. It's pretty clear it's a scam, I don't want to call it an exchange since their main concept is to scam people. Those who have at least basic knowledge about cryptocurrency should realize it's a scam site when they see the balance of this exchange.

We should save in our brain that if any site requires us to make a minimum deposit to withdraw funds from there. Then it's a scam simply, doesn't require any further investigation. Thanks, OP for sharing with us.
3027  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BetBTC Sportsbook is shutting down. Please withdraw the funds before 1/Sept/2021 on: August 22, 2021, 04:26:31 PM
Although seems they have good intention to return funds, but estimated withdrawal time is short in case of shut down the platform permanently. Some people would be busy or didn't notice regarding closing the platform. So they are at risk. I think at least a month would be better to allow withdrawal in case of permanent closes. But yes, something is better than nothing. Exit scam would more dangerous.
3028  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting your own alt account for non abusive reasons on: August 22, 2021, 03:38:27 PM
Seems one of our moderators made a post about this.
Quote
Can I give merit to my alt accounts?

No, this is frowned upon and will almost certainly lead to you receiving negative feedback if discovered.
I agree with this. It's because perhaps you will send merit to your alts for good reason. But the abuser would take advantage of that. If someone needs merit for any good reason, then just simply can write PM to reasonable member, or may create a post to get help from others. On the other hand, even a reputed member just makes a post I am alt of xxx then I believe someone automatically will send merit. So getting merit is not a big deal at all. So it's better always avoid sending merit to alt. We should judge our own quality.
3029  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple accounts join Campaign irfan_pak10 | XIRCUS BOUNTY on: August 21, 2021, 04:52:17 PM
Thank you, That campaign has been closed today, I have asked my guy to go through previous complaints and this one too and remove all the alts. Please also pm me your bsc address, you'll get the stakes rewards. Thanks again.
Thanks for the quick action. It's good to see you again rewarding alt hunters. This will help prevent account farmers from getting rewards by abusing the campaign. Keep it up buddy.

@OP, you have done a great job as well. Just make sure you aren't accusing someone falsely. Add proper evidence in the thread. So it will be easy to identify for us.
3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: F*CK BITCOIN. USELESS COIN BACKED BY NOTHING. Stablecoins are the future. on: August 21, 2021, 04:41:36 PM
First of all, Bitcoin is backed by the community. And this community is hugely powerful. This forum support freedom of speech and constructive discussion about Bitcoin. So you may say whatever you like if it's constructive discussion. Your post isn't backed by anything. Please describe in detail why you think Bitcoin is a worthless coin. I have answered how it's backed. I don't see any reason why a stable coin would future. I won't invest a penny in a stable coin since there is no reason. If you want to create a stable coin then go ahead, no one preventing you to do so.
3031  Other / Beginners & Help / Share your costly lesson about cryptocurrency.. on: August 21, 2021, 04:36:37 AM
As the title says, please share your costly lesson about cryptocurrency. So others users could take a lesson from your story and they would get the advantage of it without losing anything.

When we learn a lesson, most of the time we lose something. And there are a few losing stories where we lost a lot and that's the reason why I consider this kind of lesson ad a costly lesson. I had shared previously my story, I will just remind it shortly.

In 2017 I had almost 1.5BTC and I hadn't sold even Bitcoin was around $19K above. So we know the Bitcoin dump story. Since Bitcoin was dumped too much I wondered to increase portfolio by trading or holding alts. So I just choose a few shitcoin. Some of them were delisted from the exchange, so I moved all-in single shitcoin. Sadly that's shitcoin is totally useless. Perhaps it's worth $1K in the current market. So it was a costly lesson for me. Don't choose a shitcoin for investing purposes. Just invest in Bitcoin and hold it. You will never regret it at all.

What is your costly lesson?
3032  Other / Meta / Re: My brother wants to open bitcointalk account on: August 21, 2021, 04:23:24 AM
The forum itself doesn't prevent using the same wifi even the same device. As long as you do not abuse the forum and trust system then even you can use an alt account. It's not a problem at all. Since your brother is interested in the forum, then we should welcome him. Just explain to him about the forum culture. If your brother abuses the forum system then you might in trouble.

For the record, you may leave neutral feedback on your brother's profile. Although it wouldn't help you both if you abuse the forum and trust system. We know everyone which is good and bad things. So just always try to avoid bad things either you have alts or not. If you make the excuse that we are brothers and that's why we have been using the same address then it will not valid excuse to the community. Don't make such as excuse and don't abuse the forum.
3033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin @ $50k on: August 21, 2021, 04:08:42 AM
Bitcoin traded above $49K today in Binance. So it's not too far from the $50K zone. If any bad news does not come out recently then there is the possibility to break the $50K zone at any time. And we have to keep in mind, to see another ATH or another big bull Bitcoin should break the first $50K zone. So in current situations breaking the $50K zone is quite important. I am not a good analyzer, but hope Bitcoin would break the $50K zone this week at any time. If not then we might encounter a bear market again.
3034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: August 20, 2021, 05:32:38 PM
I won't agree with those who sell all the assets to invest in Bitcoin. I always prefer to invest the amount only you can afford the loss. This isn't only investing in Bitcoin at all, investing all the assets in Bitcoin means you are gambling with your life. We can't and shouldn't expect always an uptrend Bitcoin price. We don't know what would happen after a few months or years. Taking a loan and selling everything to invest in Bitcoin is extremely high risk and madness as well. This time he gained, but if others follow him they wouldn't be lucky enough of this guy.
3035  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All hail king 👑 BTC on: August 20, 2021, 05:24:01 PM
BTC isn't the best around but it's the best for newbies who don't want to waste time, way better than hype on shitcoins
That's the point I like in your post. Newbies should enter Bitcoin first rather than invest in any other shit coins. Due to a lack of crypto knowledge newbies thought they could make money from shitcoin soo quickly. But they were unaware of the risk that they could be lost everything in this hype. We know very well about Bitcoin trends, holding Bitcoin will not drive you to loss if you have patience. Somedays Bitcoin would recover the price. But some shitcoin never recover, I have a real experience in my life and this was a costly lesson.
3036  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC/ETH influence on altcoins - explanation? on: August 20, 2021, 05:16:11 PM
When Bitcoin starts to move upward then we assume the market is bullish. So when we see an altcoin still hasn't pump with Bitcoin then start buying that coin which has been leading upward that altcoin too. That's how most altcoins start moving with the Bitcoin movement as well. But keep in mind sometimes altcoins do not follow the Bitcoin trend. It depends on the market situation and it wouldn't same on all the exchanges.
3037  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best way to monetize cryptocurrency blog on: August 20, 2021, 08:15:41 AM
In my opinion personally, since we're talking about a cryptocurrency blog, why not use Ledger[1] and Trezor[2] affiliates? You get to pitch hardware wallets to people, helping them secure their funds from hackers, and at the same time you make money. That's a great win-win situation in my book.
There is much difference between using a display ads network and advertising affiliate links or banners. In-display ads, there is a chance to earn something even not purchase anything from the ads (depends on the type of ads). But in affiliate ads, there is no chance to earn money without sales. For example, Ledger will only pay 10% upon successful sale from that affiliate link. So most probably display ads would help OP to get more earns. But he needs to bring more traffics. It's hard to monetize your site with these small visitors.
3038  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: broker and scam on: August 19, 2021, 06:51:06 PM
thank you your advise

its coinbene.coinbene.space, not coinbene.com, yes i suspected its scam too, i cant retrieve or get my money back on this situation even the police? Sad
I can't say that police can't help you to recover your funds. But before file a case you have to think about many things.

First of all, you have to assign a lawyer to manage your case, then you can file a police case if Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is legal in your country. If it's illegal then you would be in trouble as well for a money laundering case. Police would help only if they could detect the person who scams you. And as we know detection of cryptocurrency transactions isn't an easy task and it's quite impossible. If the police could detect the site owner from the domain then it would help to recover your funds. But as I said, all the tasks are quite complicated and nearly impossible.

Now it's depend on you. If you can afford cost then you may take chance. But I can say there is only 0.1% possibility to recover your funds.
3039  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: broker and scam on: August 19, 2021, 06:40:52 PM
the one coinbene.coinbene.space requested me to add to 10K b4 i can withdraw, because i got 1K from their recharge activity from their information.
is that reasonable.-  Lips sealed
Save it in your mind forever whenever a company/person or website asks you to deposit or recharge before withdrawal money, then there is no suspension. It's a direct scam without any further suspensions. Even you don't need to take suggestions from anyone else. Just mark them as a pure scam.

If you already scammed then sorry, no one can help you expect them where you send funds if it's cryptocurrency. Because cryptocurrency is irreversible. This means there is no cure except prevention.
3040  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam coins(AVOID) on: August 19, 2021, 06:30:10 PM
It's ridiculous that you don't know how have you received that coin. Because it seems you have been joining many bounty campaigns. Most probably you received from bounty campaigns or airdrop. Otherwise, maybe a few projects collect your address from airdrops or bounty spreadsheets. Because sometimes a project makes fake transactions in various addresses to misguide investors.

Anyway, you haven't used the proper scam accusation format. Please write more details if you have about these projects.
