I odvuklo nas debelo u centralizaciju, ali sve si više mislim da će to biti cijena koju ćemo jednostavno morati platiti za masovnu adopciju. Vrlo je malo proizvoda/usluga na trenutnom kripto tržištu koje se drže standarda tih velikih kompanija pa što god mi mislili o njima. A standarde dAppsa moramo itekako podignuti da bi uopće imale šansu za prihvaćanje od strane "normalnih" ljudi. To pogotovo vrijedi za user interface/ease of use aspekt.

Ja se stvarno nadam da si u pravu. Najviše zbog toga jer sam prodao sav BTC za ETH u trenutku kad je cijena bila ispod 0.03 BTC za 1 ETH. Za sad sam u solidnom plusu i neka se samo tako nastavi

Što se tiče ovoga za eBay, nisam to vidio ali stvarno bi moglo jako doprinijeti popularizaciji kripto valuta i tom već toliko puta spomenutom mass adoptionu. Naravno, pitanje koliko će "običnih" korisnika eBaya stvarno koristiti opciju plaćanja kripto valutama (prvo trebaju shvatiti što je kripto wallet) ali svakako je jako pozitivna vijest.

Meni je glavno pitanje je li kripto zaista spreman za mass adoption. Bilo bi veoma pogubno da se kripto plaćanje 'progura' na nešto ogromno poput eBay-ja a da onda odjednom nastane milijun problema sa skupim ili zapelim transakcijama, teškim korisničkim sučeljima i slično.

Recimo, Bethereum koristi ETH-ov sidechain Aerum. Povlačenje s njihovog walleta u ETH wallet je momentalno i oni snose troškove transakcija za koje tvrde da su praktički nepostojeći. Volio bih da više takvih stvari uđe i u neki kripto mainstream prije nego krenemo u taj korak prema mass adoptionu.

Ne kažem da treba čekati još nekoliko godina, sve je to tu negdje. Ali radije bih da su ti koraci nešto polakši i 'smisleniji' nego puf, eBay pa što bude bude.
